Jake Paul reveals unlikely DMs between him and Tommy Fury just days before KSI fight

JAKE PAUL claimed he has already struck an agreement to rematch Tommy Fury in 2024. The YouTuber-turned boxer was handed his first defeat in February after losing a split-decision to Fury in Saudi Arabia.

But he snubbed an immediate rematch to instead return with a victory over ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 38, in August.
Meanwhile Fury now faces Paul’s arch rival KSI on Saturday in Manchester.
But according to Paul himself, he has set out to rematch Fury next year after the pair exchanged unlikely direct messages online.
He said on NELK Boys podcast: “We’re in talks. We’ve DMd back and forth like, ‘Let’s do the rematch in 2024.’ So he’s down.”

Paul, 26, then claimed no matter the result of KSI’s fight with Fury, he still wants to settle their bitter feud in the ring.
He said: “Look Tommy, KSI, whatever happens there both of those fights I want.
“I want both of them regardless of what happens. Yes, win lose or draw I want the Tommy Fury rematch and I want to fight KSI.”
KSI, 30, insisted that he turned his attention to Fury after failing in talks to fight Paul, whose brother Logan, 28, lost to the Londoner in 2019.

And KSI hinted he could retire from boxing if he beats 24-year-old Fury in a bid to further wind up his arch enemy.
But Paul has urged KSI to fight him no matter what happens this Saturday.
He said: “KSI if you beat Tommy go crazy bro, let that s*** rub your ego, say whatever you want to say.
“But, guess what? Just because you maybe beat Tommy you didn’t beat me. Man to man and styles make fights, everyone knows that.”

The boxing ruling that is a nightmare for Anthony Joshua in his mission to become three-time world champion

ANTHONY JOSHUA has been handed a blow in his hopes of becoming a three-time world champion. AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn revealed plans to turn their attention to Filip Hrgovic after talks with Deontay Wilder stalled.
Anthony Joshua with promoter Eddie HearnCredit: Reuters
Hrgovic, 31, is the IBF mandatory challenger and the next in line to challenge for Oleksandr Usyk’s title.
But Usyk has signed for a first ever four-belt undisputed bout with Tyson Fury, which will supersede Hrgovic’s mandatory position.
As a result, the Croatian could be called into an “interim” title shot, guaranteeing him a crack at the full version in the future.
Or, if the winner between Fury, 35, and Usyk, 36, was to vacate, Hrgovic would inherit the strap.

So Hearn was ready to shift his focus on to the IBF title route to give AJ a clear road to becoming champion again.
But Swede Otto Wallin has now thrown a spanner in the works.
Wallin, 32, is coming off a win against Murat Gassiev, 29, which is due to put him second in the IBF rankings.
It means should Hrgovic be called into a final eliminator or interim title bout, it would likely be against Wallin and NOT Joshua.

Fury and Usyk’s proposed blockbuster deal in Saudi Arabia is believed to offer the loser a rematch.
So if talks cannot be revived for Joshua, 33, to face Wilder, 37, Hearn revealed that Hrgovic would be an alternative.
He told Boxing Social: “The Wilder fight is much bigger, but the Hrgovic fight comes with a world title.
“That will always take priority, but we’ll have to see what plays out.
“Again, we’re only hearing that it’s a two-way rematch Usyk-Fury, which is disappointing, but we’ll see.”

And KSI lived up to his workaholic reputation in camp for the grudge match having been pushed to his absolute limit.
In a clip from a pre-fight documentary, the Londoner is put through his paces on a versaclimber machine – a climbing-style workout.
His head trainer Alexis Demetriades barks encouragement and counts down as KSI tirelessly works.
After the round is over, the unbeaten social media sensation almost collapses into Demetriades’ arms.

Somehow, KSI then gets back on the machine for one final round of brutality.
As he works away, Demetriades says: “Every single professional fighter in this gym, you need to beat them.”
Fury, 24, comes into the fight having beaten KSI’s arch rival Jake Paul, 26, by split-decision in February.
Whereas KSI, 30, last fought in May where he accidentally but illegally knocked out businessman-turned boxer Joe Fournier, 40, with an elbow.

But he snubbed a rematch to instead focus on outdoing Paul by attempting to beat Fury.
KSI’s coaches are so committed to preparing him to the max they offered sparring partners bonus money to KO him.
Demetriades said: “From where he was at when he first came to where he is now, he’s come on leaps and bounds.
“He’s only sparring professional boxers, this whole camp, forget MMA fighters, forget amateurs.
“He’s sparring guys 14-0, 13-0, 12-2, 8-0, 6-0, all with knockouts and all ranked by the British Boxing Board of Control.
“If they think that we’re not taking this seriously, we’ve got guys who are ranked higher than Tommy Fury in the gym.
“And they’re not just moving around, they’re trying to kill JJ and there’s bonus money on the table for them to knock him out.
“From a coaching point of view, all I want to do is put the correct guys in front on KSI and see whether or not he can deal with that and if he can’t then he shouldn’t be fighting.”

ANTHONY JOSHUA has wowed fans by showing off his football skills. The British boxing star caught up with old pal David Beckham during a previous trip to Inter Miami.

Anthony Joshua stepped up to take a free-kick
David Beckham also rolled back the years
While in South Florida, AJ hit the training pitch with former Manchester United star Becks.
In a throwback video posted to social media, Joshua and Beckham both took free-kicks.
Becks, 48, unsurprisingly curled his beyond the goalkeeper in trademark fashion.
Joshua then raised a few eyebrows by whipping an impressive shot into the bottom corner himself.

A third even added: “Better then Ronaldo & Messi.”
Joshua has been biding his time since defeating Robert Helenius last time out in August.
The former heavyweight champion is believed to be targeting a blockbuster clash with Deontay Wilder.
But he has been bizarrely called out by 56-year-old Riddick Bowe.
Speaking on The Porter Way Podcast earlier this year, Bowe claimed: “In my prime, Anthony Joshua, he wouldn’t fight. I’d break him off something proper. Five (rounds).
“And I’ll tell you what, if you give me enough money I’ll come out of retirement and show you better than I can tell you. You know my motto is ‘show me the money’.”

Others hit back, saying: “Oh thank God I thought he supported Arsenal at first.”
The build-up to Danis’ bout with Paul as been marred by controversy.
He was hit with a restraining order due to harassment after repeatedly posting old pictures and videos of his opponents’ fiancee Nina Agdal while making X-rated comments about her.
The model claimed to have “suffered humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm” from Danis’ tweets about her.
It has led to Danis hinting that he could withdraw from the fight, saying: “Logan bragging about lawsuits again he isn’t built for the fight game, this p**** doesn’t deserve me I’m out.”
UFC legend Mike Perry, who is Danis’ stand-in then tweeted a video, saying: “It’s official guys, I’m in.”
But SunSport understands Danis is yet to officially pull out. More
