And it will be Ireland’s first boxing event since 2014 and the only time Taylor has fought at home as a professional.
So UFC superstar McGregor would not miss the occasion for the world as he spoke out on Twitter to say he will be there.
He tweeted: “What’s the story folks I’ve a couple of mega Katie Taylor announcements coming all this week, for our Katies fight!
“Multiple days back to back! But first I want to announce that I have 22 tickets to the fight itself, in the exclusive “G Cash” seats.

“I only need one seat myself.…”
McGregor, 34, has been a huge supporter of Taylor’s career and has watched her fight from ringside before.
The women’s lightweight queen was due to rematch Amanda Serrano, 34, following their fight of the year contender last year.
But Serrano pulled out injured and instead returns on August 5 in Texas in a rematch with Heather Hardy, 41, who she beat in 2019.

So Taylor, 36, instead turned her attention to Cameron, 31, and the super-lightweight titles.
And the historic fight will be sponsored by McGregor’s Forged Irish Stout.
He said: “I’m incredibly proud and honoured to support Ireland’s own, the pound for pound GOAT, Katie Taylor!
“Katie’s fight this weekend in Ireland is going to be one for the books and I’ll be cheering her on.
“Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing have done a fantastic job putting together an unforgettable event and Irish Forged Stout is ready to take over fight week!”

Replays revealed the YouTube sensation landed an accidental but illegal elbow, which consequently caused the KO.
KSI broke his silence on social media to claim Fournier “fell into” his forearm and voiced his “disappointed” in the ending of the bout.
But Paul, 26, hit back: “Why you lying still? No part of your glove made contact with Joe’s face on that elbow.
“That was not a hook. That was straight up a right elbow to the jawbone. Good form but wrong sport. Your whole promotion is sham.

“Bad look for the sport of boxing. Your “commission” PBA should hold itself to a higher standard.
“I hope England Boxing starts to oversee this product and makes it safer for everyone.”
Fournier, 40, accused KSI, 29, of cheating and demanded a disqualification or rematch be called.
And the Professional Boxing Association – who sanctioned the fight – confirmed an appeal has been lodged and will conclude by Friday.

KSI came into the bout with five wins in the ring and one draw compared to nightclub businessman-turned 9-0 boxer Fournier.
And he was left underwhelmed in the contentious ending of what was the biggest night in his boxing career.
KSI posted on Twitter: “I worked very hard for this fight and had an intense and gruelling camp.
“There’s no better feeling than being in that ring and having my hand raised in front of my loyal and amazing fans who I appreciate so much.
“Unfortunately the victory which was inevitable no matter what, is tarnished and I hate that. It sucks!
“After landing my overhand he was pretty much out on his feet and I went for a short right hook as Joe clinched me and fell into me.
“I landed that hook and my glove made contact but appears to have been followed by unintentional contact with my forearm.

But the Team GB legend is open to trying his hand at boxing as the rise in celebrity bouts continue to grow.
Asked by KSI’s Misfits promotion if he would step in the ring, Farah responded: “One hundred per cent.
“Listen, it depends, I would need to do a bit of training and get confidence but I would love to challenge myself maybe one day.”
Farah, 40, was at Wembley Arena to watch YouTube star KSI fight businessman-turned boxer Joe Fournier.

But the bout ended in controversy when KSI, 29, knocked out Fournier, 40, in the second round.
What looked to be a textbook KO was later revealed on replays to have been caused by an accidental but illegal elbow.
It left four-time Olympic champion Farah calling for a rematch.
He said: “For me, it was a good fight but then obviously stuff changed so quickly. I didn’t even know what happened, I looked over and that was it.

Given the illegal manner in which their fight ended, a rematch with KSI and Fournier makes the most sense.
KSI may deny finishing the fight with an elbow, but he can’t escape the clear fact he landed an illegal blow.

The honourable thing for him to do would be to acknowledge the accidental strike and run it back with Fournier.
But that seems unlikely now that he’s got a big money fight with Fury in the palms of his hands. More
