The WBC has ordered a match-up between the duo to determine who will get a world title shot.
Ruiz Jr had wanted to fight Fury but the Gypsy King will instead face Francis Ngannou next in what will be his boxing debut.
While Wilder eyed a clash with Anthony Joshua, which could take place in December or January.
Now the Bronze Bomber is ready to take on Ruiz Jr, but fired a chilling warning at the former heavyweight champion.

Wilder, 37, said: “With my team, with your team, and now it’s time to put it all together.
“Who acting scared? It isn’t me. You know, because what y ‘all talk about is unreasonable. Let’s face it, and it is what it is.
“So when you serious, holla at me until then. Do what you do, bro. You got a lot of weight to lose, man. You can talk that talk. But only a few walk that walk.
“You know what I mean? So if you want to see what a knockout feels like, get your brain splattered. Holla at me, bro. I’m not far.”

Ruiz, 33, was not intimidated and took Wilder’s “fat” insult in his stride.
He fired back a warning that his physique will make him difficult to beat – something Wilder will find out inside the ring.
Ruiz said: “Don’t say motherf***er. You’re mad, wow! F man, why are you mad? My dad’s trying to look out for me. He wants the best for me [and is] trying to give me as much money as I can [get].
“Come on, man. There’s no reason to be f***ing mad about that.

Tyson’s scintillating, ferocious run to becoming the youngest-ever heavyweight champion is still to this day one of the greatest in the history of boxing.
The New Yorker, 57, ended his career with six defeats – the final of which came at the hands of McBride.
And his former trainer Teddy Atlas believes those losses – which were inflicted on him by Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis and Danny Williams – came in the only TRUE fights of his Hall-of-fame career.
During an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Atlas said: “Tyson’s talent was so great.

“His physical ability was so overwhelming, his talent was so superior that the other stuff never got tested.
“He was blowing guys out, it never got tested if there was anything in the warehouse.
“To me, a fight is not a fight until there is any resistance, something to overcome.

The fight comes just months after Fury’s proposed undisputed showdown with pound-for-pound king Oleksandr Usyk collapsed.
A defence of his WBC heavyweight title was expected for Fury, although it’s since been revealed that the Mexican sanctioning body didn’t mandate a challenger for him.
They tweeted: “Mauricio Sulaiman said that Tyson Fury received special permission from the WBC to fight Francis Ngannou as there is no official challenger.
“He mentioned that Fury tried to close fights against [Andy] Ruiz, [Anthony] Joshua and Usyk but no agreement was reached.

Boxing fans were quick to react to the WBC’s revelation, with one saying: “Is it not literally your job to mandate him one?
“Nobody in the top 10/15 wanted a fight?”
Another said: “There’s no official challenger as you didn’t enforce the mandatory.
“If 1 and 2 wouldn’t fight could have gone to the next contenders in the rankings.”

And another said: “‘There is no official challenger’ – it’s your job to find challengers
One remarked: “It’s the WBC’s job to give him a mandatory challenger, theres plenty of bodies ranked by yourselves.”

Fury vs Ngannou will be a ten-round affair which will take place under traditional Queensberry boxing rules – although it’s not been confirmed if the fight will go on both men’s professional records.

“This guy is supposed to be the hardest puncher in the world, but let’s see how he reacts when he gets hit by the Big GK.

“I can’t wait to get back out there under the lights. I’m looking forward to showing the world that The Gypsy King is the greatest fighter of his generation in an epic battle with another master of his craft.
“Francis looked tough when he jumped in the ring after the Whyte fight, but there is no one tougher than me, and you’ll all see that in devastating fashion on October 28.”
