The 35-year-old Gypsy King is also putting his undefeated record on the line in the much-criticised showdown.
His Cameroon-born opponent, who left UFC last year and has now signed with fellow MMA promotion Professional Fighters League, has been trained by boxing legend “Iron” Mike Tyson for the clash in Las Vegas.
Both stars are now in the Middle East and they came face-to-face tonight ahead of what has been billed as the Battle of the Baddest.
Fury and Ngannou jokingly sniped at each other in front of the cameras – but that was the former’s dad had tried to get in on the action on stage.

John, who was also topless like his son, marched up alongside Tyson but then went past him at first, blocking out the camera, and stood looking at Ngannou.
Security were then forced to pull back the shirtless 59-year-old before his boy joked around with Ngannou as the pair compared weight before a number of fat jokes were made.
The MMA ace then took off his jacket to reveal his stacked up physique while Fury admired his foe’s shreds before the gathering came to an end.
But it was John Fury that most people were talking about on social media afterwards.

TYSON FURY VS FRANCIS NGANNOU: ALL THE DETAILS YOU NEED AHEAD OF HUGE CROSSOVER CLASH
“John Fury must be the closest thing to a real life David Brent that we have,” read one response to the clip.
Another asked: “What the hell is he doing? It’s beyond embarrassing.”
“John Fury has got to be the most embarrassing man on the planet,” blasted a fellow fan.
“So embarrassing,” wrote another before they added that it was “cringe to watch”.
That came after John exchanged verbal jabs with Mike Tyson – before he squared up to the hall of fame boxer and called him out several times.
Iron Mike chanted “and the new” repeatedly during a press conference earlier, encouraging the crowd to join in, and it wound John up a treat.
John jumped out his chair and charged at the American, forcing security to hold him back, while screaming: “Do you want to fight me? I can fight you right now.”
However, once things had calmed down, John did admit that maybe he would struggle against “the Baddest Man on the Planet” in the ring.
He said: “Listen, let me tell you this much. I respect Mike Tyson. I named my son after him. But I’m a fighting man. I’ve got a warrior’s heart. I’m in Saudi. Bring it on!”

Another chimed in: “Don’t do it bloodbath!”
Despite fancying a bit of Dana White’s Power Slap, Olympic Bronze medallist Wilder still has plenty of unfinished business in boxing.
Chief among his plans is settling his five-year-long feud with former unified heavyweight champion Joshua.
The pair were on course for a January joust before Saudi boxing chiefs pulled the plug on staging the long-overdue showdown.
But Wilder is still hell-bent on having the fight come to fruition, taking to social media this week to issue a friendly call-out to AJ.
He said: “Another thing I want to address is a fight that everyone is looking forward to and hopefully happens.
“I’m doing everything in my power to make it happen – I’m referring to the Anthony Joshua fight.
“So Anthony – you’re hearing it from my mouth – I’m here, I’m ready, I’m ready to go.

“I heard some things your promoter said that my last fight only lasted a short period of time.

CARL FRAMPTON has told Francis Ngannou how to beat Tyson Fury this weekend. The former two-weight world champion has given his thoughts on the huge crossover fight.

Ngannou is set to make his professional boxing debut against Fury in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.
Although their contest will be an official 10-round bout, the Gypsy King’s WBC belt will not be on the line.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou will be supported by Mike Tyson as his trainer.
Iron Mike will be in his corner on Saturday but is also Fury’s hero and was the inspiration behind his name, something Frampton feels could give Ngannou an edge in the ring.

“It might not be a massive issue for Tyson,” explained the Northern Irishman.
“But it’s definitely something he will feel a bit uncomfortable with, that the guy who he’s named after and a hero to him is going to be in the opponent’s corner.
“Mike Tyson was a small heavyweight, he knew how to fight on the inside and Francis is smaller than Tyson Fury.
“I think the way Francis wins the fight is to get close and land shots from close distance and there’s no better man to teach you that than Mike Tyson.

“Francis been completely written off by the majority of boxing fans and, to be honest, I understand why. I’m not as sure that he has zero chance of winning – he has a chance but it’s very small.
“He’s an athletic guy, explosive, very, very powerful, but the biggest attribute is that he is highly unorthodox. If he’s throwing shots from every angle, it’s actually really difficult.”
Ngannou comes into the fight with a 17-3 mixed martial arts record, with 12 of the Cameroonian’s wins coming via knockout.
However, he has yet to compete as a professional boxer and will be facing an unbeaten heavyweight world champion in Fury.

Fury’s WBC crown won’t be on the line in the ten-rounder, which many boxing purists have branded a “circus show”.
The night, however, will feature some tasty fights on the undercard – including a heavyweight grudge match between Brits David Adeleye and Fabio Wardley.
But the duo won’t even fight in the same ring as The Gypsy King.
The undercard will take place in a separate arena from Riyadh’s brand-spanking-new 26,000-seater Boulevard Hall Stadium.

The prelims will be held in the temporary purpose-built venue which staged Wednesday’s open workout.
That will no doubt disappoint Adeleye and Wardley, both of whom will be looking to raise their respective profiles with a big knockout win in the desert.
All but one fight on the card features heavyweight sluggers.
That bout is Jack McGann’s light-middleweight clash with Alcibiade Duran, which kicks off the night.

Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou: UK start time, live stream, TV channel, rules, ring-walks, undercard for epic Saudi bout

TYSON FURY will return to the ring to face UFC legend Francis Ngannou in a historic crossover fight THIS WEEKEND.The WBC champion and the MMA star have been going back and forth with one another on social media for the best part of two years.

TYSON FURY VS FRANCIS NGANNOU: ALL THE DETAILS YOU NEED AHEAD OF HUGE CROSSOVER CLASH
Fury and Ngannou will now take to the ring to end their long-standing online feud.
A shock showdown between the pair was mooted after Ngannou entered the ring and faced off with Fury following the Gypsy King’s knockout win against Dillian Whyte at Wembley back over a year ago.
The fight went cold as Ngannou was still contracted to UFC and MMA mogul Dana White refused to entertain the bout.
But now the 37-year-old walked out on the UFC at the start of the year and instead signed for rivals The Professional Fighters League.

The PFL gave Ngannou the green light to make his dream switch to boxing.
And it paved the way for him to climb right to the top of the tree to challenge the lineal champion Fury.
A win for Ngannou would be among the sport’s greatest shocks while Fury would suffer a disastrious defeat.
After all, he’s already lined himself up a huge fight against Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight titles.

So legacies and reputations are on the line this Saturday in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
    Who are their trainers?
Fury linked up with Sugarhill Steward – nephew to the legendary Emanuel – before his 2020 rematch with Deontay Wilder.
The pair have since won all four of their bouts together, including two wins over Wilder, with all of the victories coming by stoppage.
Ngannou’s striking coach has long been former kickboxer Dewey Cooper, who will be in his corner against Fury.
As will his head MMA trainer Eric Nicksick and boxing icon Mike Tyson, who has mentored Ngannou throughout his camp.

What belts are on the line?
As Ngannou is making his professional boxing debut – and therefore not ranked by the WBC – he cannot challenge for Fury’s belt.
But the WBC are involved in the spectacle showdown and have introduced a “Riyadh Champion” belt.
Fury’s brother Tommy won a similar “Diriyah Belt” in February following his win over Jake Paul.
The Gypsy King is the lineal champion, so a win for Ngannou means he would be deemed the mythical champ.

What happened in Fury’s last fight?
Fury suffered frustration last year as he failed to get fights with Anthony Joshua or Usyk over the line.
So he had to settle with an unwanted trilogy bout with Derek Chisora, who he had twice stopped in the past.
The trilogy at Spurs’ 62,000-seater was as one-sided as it could be with Fury winning in ten rounds.
It proved to be nothing more than a runout for Fury, who again set his sights on Usyk.

What happened in Ngannou’s last fight?
Ngannou left the UFC after a five-round decision win over Frenchman Ciryl Gane in California.
And he was expected to meet Jon Jones in a heavyweight super-fight.
But talks between Ngannou and the UFC broke down amid a disagreement in terms.
So it allowed the Cameroonian to cross over to the boxing ring.

    How much will they make?
Tyson and Francis Ngannou are reportedly set to receive a lucrative paycheck after their highly-anticipated fight.
According to Sport Bible, Ngannou will earn a staggering £6million for this bout.
That is 10 times more than what the 37-year-old made in his last UFC fight in 2022 before he quit Dana White’s promotion.
Fury’s earnings haven’t been confirmed yet but it is safe to imagine he will pocket even more from the oil rich nation.
The Mancunian made $5m (£4m) as a base purse for his third fight against Deontay Wilder two years ago.
When is Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou?

Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou will take place this weekend on Saturday, October 28.
The bout will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Expect ring-walks to get going from around 10.45pm UK time.
The fight will be a 10-round professional fight but Fury’s WBC belt will NOT be on the line.
Exhibition rules will NOT be in place.

What channel is Fury vs Ngannou on and can it be live streamed?

Fury’s clash with Ngannou has been confirmed to be shown live on TNT Sports Box Office in the UK.
TNT Sports have confirmed that the PPV price will cost fans £21.95 which is cheaper than Tommy Fury’s win against KSI.
You can live stream the action from the TNT Sports Box Office app, which is available for download onto your mobile or tablet device.

    Fury vs Ngannou full card
Perhaps the tastiest fight on the undercard is between Davie Adeleye and Fabio Wardley.
The pair came to blows at the Fury vs Ngannou press conference last month and Wardley was left bloodied.
Full card below (subject to change):

    What’s been said?
