    CONOR McGREGOR had an awkward encounter with Manny Pacquiao after they posed for an incredible star-studded photo ahead of Tyson Fury’s clash with Francis Ngannou. The UFC and boxing legends stood next to the likes of Mike Tyson, Naseem Hamed, Sugar Ray Leonard, Lennoz Lewis, Amir Khan, Ricky Hatton and Roberto Duran.

    McGregor captioned the post: “Legends unite! What a vision! Bravo The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and His Excellency.”
    The Irishman has travelled over to Riyadh to watch heavyweight boxing champ Fury face ex-UFC star Ngannou.
    It comes six years after McGregor lost to Floyd Mayweather in the first crossover clash of the modern era.
    McGregor was linked with another boxing bout against Pacquiao until talks broke down.

    PacMan was later sued by Paradigm Management – who represent McGregor – following a breach in their contract.
    The eight-division title holder was hit with an $8m (£6.6m) bill which McGregor brazenly claimed he was owed personally.
    But in a voice note later deleted, McGregor said: “Where’s my $8 million from that court case, Manny Pacquiao?
    “You owe me $8 million, Manny… Are you stupid, Manny?

    “I’ll kick you in the head, in the neck, the inside leg, and take you off your feet and drag you by your ankle across the stage.”
    Hitting back, Pacquiao told MMA Junkie: “Oh, he’s not active anymore.”
    The Filipino icon retired in 2021 following defeat to Yordenis Ugas but he has teased a comeback while recently entering talks with former Brit world champ Khan.
    Meanwhile, McGregor is preparing to return next year having been sidelined since July 2021 when he broke his leg.

    Fury, 35, cut a cool, calm and collected figure as he sat in the dressing room after being given a POLICE ESCORT to the venue.
    And his confidence levels were so through the roof that he decided to take the briefest of naps – despite the slew of people floating around.
    Footage of the WBC heavyweight champion’s brief nap quickly went viral on social media, with several fans flocking to X to give their takes on it.
    One wrote: “Not surprised with the amount of time in between these fights.”

    The Wythenshawe warrior didn’t conk out for long, quickly rising to his feet before ushering several people out of his changing room.
    Fury enters his lucrative Riyadh rumble with MMA man-moutain Ngannou with a historic undisputed bout with Oleksandr Usyk – which is in the pipeline for December 23 – already signed, sealed and delivered.
    And the WBC heavyweight champion plans to have a short night at the office to preserve the first heavyweight undisputed bout in over 25 years.

    Bernath was buzzed and bashed but Itauma still slashed an uppercut and lead right hook into his temple, before the referee dived in to stop the savagery.

    JAKE PAUL faces a delay in announcing his next fight after his scheduled opponent was denied a US visa. The YouTuber-turned prizefighter returns on December 15 and teased that it would be against a professional boxer.

    And his business partner Nikisa Bidarian revealed Paul was due to face a 7-1 opponent until the visa issue struck.
    Bidarian said: “Just regarding Friday, December 15, there was a plan to announce Jake Paul’s opponent for that evening. 
    “Unfortunately, the opponent, which was a 7-1 boxer, has not been able to obtain a visa to come to the US.
    “So we’re currently reviewing alternative options for his opponent, but the plan is to try to announce it within the next two weeks.”

    Paul, 26, suffered defeat for the first time in February after losing a split-decision to Tommy Fury, 24, in Saudi Arabia.
    It was the first time the American had stepped up to face an opponent with prior pro boxing experience.
    Paul snubbed a rematch with Fury to instead return with victory over ten rounds against ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 38, in August.
    Fury went onto KSI, 30, in a controversial points victory which Paul was ringside for and subsequently called both out.

    The TV broadcast was down for 25 MINUTES before an advert for the night’s main-event played.
    TNT Sports confirmed to SunSport that the issue was caused by a power outage on site in Saudi Arabia.
    Laura Woods was joined by ex-boxing champion Carl Frampton and former UFC star Dan Hardy as she apologised for technical difficulties.
    Presenter Woods said: “A big apology from us guys out here in Riyadh. We had technical issues so you lost pictures for a little while.

    TOMMY FURY has agreed to fight boxing legend Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition. Fury’s dad John has been chasing a bout against heavyweight icon Mike Tyson, who he named his other son after.

    So Jones wants to face Tommy on the undercard as the two struck a fight agreement.
    Jones, 54, said: “I said if your father fights Mike, me and you do the co-main event.”
    Tommy, 24, replied: “Hey, let’s do it.”
