ISHOWSPEED has defeated KSI after JJ tapped out during the fourth round of an epic sparring match in London.KSI dropped his opponent multiple times during the fight with brutal shots to the body and was in complete control.
However, JJ bizarrely tapped out at the end of the fourth round to hand Speed the win despite the American wanting to carry on for the final two rounds.

    Toying with him
KSI was seen dancing in the ring, letting himself be punched and even shouting for “more” from Speed before he left the ring after just four rounds.
    ‘No elbows’
Despite being battered and bruised, Speed made a hilarious dig at KSI mid-fight.
In a bout back in May, KSI controversially knocked out Joe Fournier with what appeared to be his elbow.
It led to Speed shouting “no elbows okay” at him.
KSI laughed it off and said, “no, no, I won’t.”
    Fans react
Social media was left in hysterics as KSI wiped the floor with Speed before he surprisingly tapped out in the fourth round.
One fan said: “KSI was straight up bullying Speed bro.”
    Another added: “Had Speed scared.”
A third commented: “Speed was suffering.”
    In a rush
After the sparring session, it appeared a disappointed Speed was in a hurry to leave.
When approached by interviewer Fred Talks Fighting, he replied: “Get away from me, before I beat yo white a**.”
    KSI dances in the ring
KSI even took time to have a little dance in the ring while Speed was down for the count at one point…

    What’s next for KSI?
Fans will naturally want to see the YouTube mogul take on Jake Paul but KSI has previously said he wants to take a bit of a break.
Paul has already spoken about potentially fighting KSI’s former trainer Viddal Riley.
Riley is a pro boxer himself and is signed to Anthony Joshua’s management company.
KSI may instead go down the route of a Tommy Fury rematch.
    Another one
Adding salt to the wounds, KSI slammed Jake Paul after his win over Andre August.
He said: “I mean, am I shocked? No. We all know that Jake just look for super easy fights and he fought a cab driver this time.
“It is what it is. I don’t really care about him, I didn’t even know he was fighting the same time as me.”

    KSI takes a dig
He looked to have taken a swipe at Jake Paul, who was fighting Andre August at the same time as the spar.
KSI told Fred Talks Fighting: “I think it was definitely the event of the night. I think there was a lot of boxing fights happening at around the same time.
“But I’m pretty sure there were more watching ours than anyone else’s.”

    Jake Paul speaks out
He was asked about the spar following his KO over Andre August.
Paul said: “I don’t care it’s just two different things, right? He’s chasing views as a 30-year-old man and I’m chasing legacy and belts.
“All kudos to him, I hope he makes his wildest dreams come true.”

    KSI speaks out
The YouTube star has spoken out for the first time since the spar and laughed at the fact Speed refused to shake his hands.
KSI tweeted: “Can’t lie, I’m proud of speed. He got HEART!”

    IT’S ALL OVER
Speed is visibly upset as he wanted to continue for the remaining two rounds of the spar but KSI left the ring after dropping his opponent multiple times.
JJ ‘tapped out’ in the fourth round and handed the win to Speed.
    Round 4
KSI continues to taunt Speed by dancing in the ring.
The American looks visibly hurt after receiving multiple brutal blows to the body.
Speed grew back into the fight at the end of the round with a flurry of punches to KSI’s midsection.
    Round 3

The first huge hit to land in the fight so far and Speed is saved by the bell.
    Fight underway!
KSI and IShowSpeed are all set!

    Trash talking
The two are now trading words and Speed is getting more and more annoyed.
“I will be breaking him goodbye Speed,” KSI says.
    Almost there
Despite being advertised as a 4am start, it looks as though things might kick off early.
Jake Paul has just walked out for his fight with Andre August and it looks as though KSI will try and tie the spar in for the same time.
    On guard
Speed takes off his head guard because he doesn’t like the fit!
KSI finds it “jokes” but Speed isn’t laughing.
    Ring it in
KSI is seen in the ring warming up, he’s already got all his boxing gear on.
Speed is on the outside of the ring taking his time.

    And we’re live
The livestream has now started and Speed is getting hyped up.
He’s carrying a speaker shirtless mentally preparing himself.

    Hour warning
Just under an hour to go until the spar is set to go down!
KSI tweeted: “THE FIGHT IS ALMOST HERE!”

And then as the round was closing out, Paul set August up with a range-finding jab before firing over the finishing uppercut.

    Celebrations
That took about 140 seconds by my watch. Jake Paul has been saying all week that he’s going to deliver a first-round knockout – and he’s clearly a man of his word.
His team pile into the ring to celebrate. Andre August made a very quick exit indeed.
Jake Paul vs Andre August – Round 1
Ding Ding! Jake Paul said he’d been working on his footwork a lot during this camp, and he’s bouncing all over the place here. Nice and light on his feet as he gets behind his jab and works the body of Andre August.
IT’S OVER!!! JAKE PAUL WINS BY KO!!!
Jake Paul pokes August with the jab before delivering a thunderous upper-cut to send his opponent to the floor.

    Styles make fights
Jake Paul has shown a steady improvement. He’s throwing more punches. His recent fight against Nate Diaz saw him up his punch volume into the 50s — which is around the Cruiserweight average.
He’s jabbing nice and setting up one of those big right hands that can be so devastating.
As for August, his last victory came against Brandon Martin.
Martin is 6ft 4″ – much taller than 5ft 10″ August, who went to the body early and landed over 30 body punches in the opening round.
    Jake ringwalk
I was expecting a motivational anthem for Jake Paul’s entry. I certainly did not expect that.
He danced his way to the ring to Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee…
Yes, it’s bizarre. Or is this just the Jake Paul experience?
    “Money doesn’t create legacy”
He’s certainly saying the right things to get the respect of the boxing community.
Jake Paul had a lot of things to say at his press conference ahead of this contest (as you can imagine), and he’s quite adamant that he intends create history in the sport.
“The biggest criticism is that I should fight a real boxer. And it’s time to answer that, show up and put it all on the line.
“All the Influencer s*** and MMA s*** is cool, draws big PPV numbers, is fun and there’s more s*** talk. But none of that was really my goal.
“Money doesn’t create legacy. This is my road to world champion, and it’s about getting the experience under the bright lights to be able to compete at the highest level.
“It would create one of the greatest sports stories in history. To go from Disney Channel to world champion in less than six years – that’s why I’m here.” More

    Jake’s path
So as I’ve mentioned, Jake Paul will test himself against a professional boxer for only the second time in his career tonight.
Things had been going swimmingly for the Problem Child, who previously boasted a 6-0 record with wins over ex-UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva among others.
But his perfect record now has a blemish.
Tommy Fury beat Paul by split decision in February, although the former Love Island contestant and brother of Tyson Fury, was knocked down by the YouTuber-turned-boxer in the eighth round that night.
Nonetheless, one judge scored it 75-74 to Paul, with the other two scoring it 76-73 to Fury.
Paul bounced back with another win over an ex-UFC star in Nate Diaz in August, but tonight he returns in the ring with a pro boxer.

    What’s happening?
Nope, no titles or anything like that up for grabs tonight. This is a standard Cruiserweight contest under normal rules.
The main undercard is set to get underway at 12.30am UK time, with the main event ring-walks scheduled for 3.30am.
Obviously those timings could change depending on how quickly the undercard goes.
An early finish would be most welcome for me here blogging by candle light and drinking stale coffee.
    Evening
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.
Although in Jake Paul’s case it should perhaps be…
If at first you don’t beat a professional boxer, fight another retired UFC star and then try again.
Yes that’s right, the Problem Child is back in then ring for the third time in 2023, and he’s fighting a pro boxer for only the second time in his career.
He’s up against *checks notes* Andre August…
Ok, he’s not a household name (anywhere in the world) but he does boast a 10-1 record and fancies his chances of doing some damage.

A multi-million-pound grudge match with long-time rival Deontay Wilder is at stake for the former unified heavyweight champion.
Although Wallin’s promoter Dmitry Salita reckons AJ’s career itself is also on the line in the Kingdom clash.
When asked if Joshua could retire after losing to Wallin, he told OLBG: “It depends on how he loses.
“If it’s a technicality by a cut or a headbutt then he will call for a rematch but if he is outboxed in a boring fight, then there may not be a desire for a rematch, and he may not want it.

“it is a standard protocol to have a rematch clause in place and you have to protect yourself, but I don’t think the rematch is real unless it is a Gatti vs Ward type of fight.
“But I don’t think there will be a rematch.”
Team Joshua are confident of getting past Wallin, so much so they’ve already set a March date for a showdown with Wilder.
That’s baffled Salita, who said: “It is a bit odd the next date is scheduled.

🥊ANTHONY JOSHUA VS OTTO WALLIN: ALL THE DETAILS YOU NEED AHEAD OF THRILLING SAUDI CLASH🥊
“Both Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder are fighting bonafide, world-class contenders in Otto Wallin and Joseph Parker but it puts more interest on this night of boxing.
“In announcing March 9 for the fight is risky but it is sport and adds more interest, more fuel and excitement for Otto Wallin and Joseph Parker.”
Wallin – who took Tyson Fury the distance in their 2019 showdown – will put himself on the brink of a world title fight if he upsets Joshua.
Although the rematch clause in their contract could very well scupper an early 2024 title bout for the Swedish slugger
He told Vegas Insider: “If it was just up to me, it wouldn’t be there of course.
“I can’t say I was particularly happy about it. I’m currently in a really good position in the IBF, so I could have waited and maybe fought for the IBF title.
“But we got this opportunity that we felt was really good, and if I beat Anthony Joshua once I can beat him again,” Wallin told Vegas Insider.
“If I beat Anthony Joshua twice I should be in line to fight for any title out there.
“So that means I’m kind of giving up my shot with the IBF, but that is okay, considering if I beat Anthony Joshua twice, I could be in line to fight for pretty much any title.”

I had to join gangs in Texas to keep me safe but now I am fighting Jake Paul and I want to finish him

RELATIVE UNKNOWN Andre August is set for the fight of his life tonight against YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul.August, 35, is just the second professional boxer that Paul has faced – but he’s more journeyman than a glamour tie for Paul to square up against.

August has a 10-1 professional record and has won five of those by knockouts which makes him the most experienced fighter Paul has faced.
There is a mystique surrounding August, given most of his fights have been small-scale affairs so there is not actually much footage of him in action.
Despite the absence of that, his story to becoming a boxer is illuminating and he told The Daily Star all about it.
In the interview, he accredits boxing with saving his life from a world of gangs and violence.
    READ MORE ON FOOTBALL
Talking about his experiences growing up to The Daily Star, he said: “Just extremely in the hood man, it was in the hood. It was either beat down or get laid down. You got to join us or get rolled over.
“So I had to join the gangs, you know what I’m saying? And be down with whatever area outside of town I was in and I did that. It was just for me to stay safe as well.
“Because at first I was trying to go against the grain. But yeah, that’s how it happened. [If you didn’t] You was jumped. You couldn’t trust nobody on the other side of town. So, I had to join.”
August’s home of Beaumont is one of the most dangerous areas in America and according to CrimeGrade.org, the city ranks in the lowest percentile in terms of safety.

That means it is more dangerous than 99% of cities in America.
But, August says that boxing showed him a path to drag himself of bad situations.
He said: “It played a major role in my life. Even just keeping me away from the streets. It also brought me away from my hometown.
“It’s kind of bittersweet, but I’m away from my hometown. So I’m out here living a good life, living an ok life with the boxing world.
“I still have my other things I do besides boxing. I still work and things like that. So, I’m just a man is trying to live his dream, man. I got my kids. Just being a dad, man.”
There is a huge gap on his boxing CV between 2019 and 2023 where August did not fight sue to the pandemic and he said those days were rough: “The number one thing is the pandemic.
“The pandemic was the one that started everything. Ever since the first year and the second year the funds were getting low.
“I had to take care of my family and be a man of the house so I had to work.”
August is grateful for the exposure fighting Paul will bringCredit: Getty
To make ends mate he worked for American insurance company State Farm, before returning to achieve victory over Brandon Martin in August.
August’s background couldn’t really be any more different from the privileged start to life for the Paul brothers – who have only been making more money since going into boxing.

But August knows the opportunity he has if he is to beat Paul, and said: “As far as me, it’s been a long time coming. So I’m here you know. I did what I did in the past as far as my amateur career.
I did have a deep career as well in my pro career. I did it with a lot of self discipline, that’s just me being out here doing what I need to do, just like right now.” More
