Verbal jabs and personal haymakers were thrown by both men during the heated presser, but Brook stepped way over the line with a tasteless reference to ‘gay’ pornography.
After Khan asked him to word himself differently, Brook responded: “It’s you who is on the gay sites, w***ing yourself off.”
The jibe was in reference to a leaked image that surfaced of Khan allegedly masturbating over a video call in 2017.
Press conference host Adam Smith swiftly warned the pair, saying: “Guys, guys… Kell, come on, focus on the fight.”
And that prompted Sky to issue an apology via a banner on the live stream.
It read: “Khan vs Brook press conference. Apologies for offensive language.”

The British-Pakistani said: “While everyone is here I wanted to ask a question: you said, ‘I want to smash that poppadom chin.’
“That’s quite racial you saying that.”
Steel City slugger Brook fired back by asking: “What are you trying to say here… [that] I am racist?
“I just wanted to say that your chin is very fragile.”
Host Smith once again attempted to interject by saying: “Guys, guys, come on – Kell, Amir let’s focus on the fight.”
A fired-up Khan then vowed to put the former IBF 147lb champ in his place.
The 35-year-old said: “He beating he’ll get is like nothing he’s got before.

And British-Pakistani Khan used Thursday’s press conference to raise one trash-talk video he felt went too far.
The Bolton boxer said: “I saw a video that Kell did the other day where he said he was going to smash my ‘poppadom chin’.
“That sounded racist to me, I want to know why he said that.”
Brook tried his best to explain and deflect the situation as Sky Sports presenter Adam Smith interjected to cool things down and change the topic.
It was the second controversial moment of the press conference as moments earlier Brook accused Khan of ‘w***ing’ on porn sites.
The jibe was in reference to a leaked image that surfaced of Khan allegedly masturbating over a video call in 2017.

The more publishable comments came at the start of the conference when Khan said: “I am worried about Kell’s health after the beating I give him, it will be like something he has never felt before.
“I am going to put him in his place, after 10 years I will put him in his place.
“He has been obsessed with me, a fanboy, I have been living in his head for so long I owe him rent.
“But we have done enough talking now so I just want to get in the ring and do a job on him.”
Brook barked back: “It goes back to our amateur days, he used to win championships at his weight and I did the same at the weight above.
“He did well at the Olympics and got a big pro signing on fee, we were both signed with Frank Warren and promised a fight but in interviews he would say he didn’t know who I was.
“But now we are three sleeps away and I will put him to sleep on Saturday night.” More

Meet Amir Khan’s trainer Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre – who linked up thanks to Brit boxer’s wife and has beaten Brook before

AMIR KHAN is hoping he has the secret weapon in his corner to beat Kell Brook in trainer Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre’.And the American certainly knows a thing or two about both Brits ahead of their Manchester grudge scrap.

McIntyre, who fought 21 times as a pro, winning seven, trained undefeated WBO champ Terence Crawford to victories against both Brits.
But now he has taken Bolton star Khan under his wing, in part thanks to Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom, training him in Omaha and Colorado in the US.
It should be a huge advantage for Khan to have McIntyre in his corner.
Back in November 2020 McIntyre guided Crawford to a stunning fourth-round KO of Brook at an empty MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
And Khan has decided to let bygones be bygones after his own defeat to Crawford in April 2019.
That ended is somewhat controversial fashion with Khan pulled out by his corner after six rounds.

He claimed he could not continue after being on the receiving end of a low blow in the fifth – but many have scoffed at that claim with the Brit getting a bit of a beating.
Now McIntyre, who has published a book called ‘The Art Of The Jab’, is Khan’s guiding light as he aims to end years of trash-talking and beat Brook.
And the Nebraska man believes Khan can do EXACTLY what Crawford did and stop Brook.
He told Sky Sports: “After seeing what Crawford did to Kell, I believe that Amir can do the same thing.
“Brook will do what he has to do to win. That’s what we call the storm.
“Once you get past the storm? It’s downhill after that.
“You’ve got to mentally prepare for that. In the corner, we say: ‘This is the storm that we talked about in the gym’.”

McIntyre has certainly put Khan through a gruelling training camp. He has had the 35-year-old running around snow-covered mountains while he encourages from his car.
Khan has been sparring four-minute rounds, as oppose to regulatory three-minutes, with McIntyre only allowing 30 seconds rest in between.
The American has revealed that it was Khan’s wife Faryal who ‘got in contact with one of the trainers’ that ultimately saw them link up.
He told Boxing Insider: “Another guy had hit me up on Instagram so we kind of came together and talked a little bit.
“He came out to Omaha for like a week to have a good conversation and sort out the business and try to train with us for a little bit. That went really well.

And McIntyre feels he has the tools to show Khan how to beat Brook. After all he has triumphed against the Sheffield hitter before.
He added: “I figure if I can beat Kell Brook one time, I can beat him a second time. It was a pretty easy decision.”
McIntyre has fine tuned Khan to improve his close-quarters boxing which he believes is the key to beating Brook.
And after he led Crawford to what was an easy victory against ‘Special K’, you wouldn’t back against McIntyre going 2-0 up on Saturday night.

John is often seen on hill runs with Fury as well as pumping iron in the gym.
He shared a topless photo of himself wearing blue shorts and showing off his powerful physique.
John will now be praying his son finally gets the Whyte fight signed and sealed.
The Brixton banger has until Saturday, February 19, to put pen to paper to confirm his first world title shot.
Unbeaten champion Fury has already signed his half and reminded his British rival time is ticking to do the same.
He said in a social media video: “Good morning, Morecambe Bay. Dillian Whyte, you little sucker, you’ve got three days left, b***h.

    “Sign the contract, p***y.”
Whyte has remained stoically silent since Fury’s promotional team of Frank Warren and Bob Arum won the purse bid with a £30.6million offer.
And English Hall of Famer Warren warned the challenger-to-be it is their way or the highway.
He said: “If he doesn’t sign he’s out. Those were the terms of the purse bid.”
Whyte and his team were left fuming after only being given a 20 per cent split of the purses.
That still guarantees him £6m and a potential £3m more if he wins and takes home the 10 per cent bonus.
But veteran US matchmaker Arum accused Whyte of wanting MORE money to flog the box office fight or he will remain tightlipped.

‘It’s always going to be Fury that wins that’ – Tyson Fury should ‘easily beat’ Anthony Joshua, says Amir Khan

TYSON FURY would easily beat Anthony Joshua, according to former two weight-world champion Amir Khan. The heavyweight superstars agreed a blockbuster showdown last year, only for Brit fight fans to be denied when Deontay Wilder exercised his rematch clause with the Gypsy King.
Tyson Fury would prove too good for Anthony Joshua, according to Amir KhanCredit: Reuters
Fury, 33, saw off Wilder for the second time in an epic last October, but Joshua was deposed in brutal style with Oleksandr Usyk a month earlier.
Joshua, 32, must now avenge his loss to the Ukrainian this year to renew hope of an all-British unification bout with Fury.
But, according to Khan, who faces Kell Brook this weekend, it would be a no-contest anyway.
The Bolton boxer, who finally faces bitter rival Kell Brook in Manchester this weekend, previously told FightHype: “My opinion, and I’ve always said, that Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight in the division.
“With the skillset he has got, he beats anyone with power. What he did to Deontay Wilder, no-one would expect that.
“If that same Fury goes into a fight with Anthony Joshua, it’s always going to be Fury that wins that.
“I still favour him if he gets that fight and I think it will be an easy win for him.

Sheffield slugger Brook has done nothing but think about taking Khan’s head off since preliminary talks began last July and is brimming with confidence after a prolonged training camp.
Special K said: “He has made a big mistake by having me on for seven months with the contract.
“Unfortunately for him I have been training in that time, that is why I am smiling now.
“I am there with the weight, I could have made the weight three of four week ago. I am very comfortable with where I am at, the 19th is right there now.”
Brook’s previous weight issues have been a big talking point ahead of the Battle of Britain, which will be contested at a catchweight of 149lbs.
But the former IBF welterweight champ looked lean and mean as he drilled pads during his open workout in Manchester on Wednesday night.

Jake Paul reignites war of words with UFC legend Conor McGregor by pointing out how much Tyson Fury earns for fighting

JAKE PAUL has reignited his war of words with Conor McGregor – and this time he’s taken aim at the UFC star’s wages. The YouTuber began targeting McGregor with a series of expletive-filled videos 14 months ago before stopping his digs after seeing him break his leg last July.

Paul, however, put McGregor back in his crosshairs last month by mentioning him in his Dana White ‘diss track’.
And now, he’s mocked the former two-division champion’s earnings by claiming they pale in comparison to those of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
After seeing McGregor congratulate UFC middleweight champ Israel Adesanya for his new bumper deal, Paul tweeted: “Indeed well deserved [sic] for Izzy but unfortunately Tyson Fury still makes more than both of you combined for fighting.”
The Problem Child then called for McGregor to step up and speak out about fighter pay in the UFC.
He asked: “Conor, when you gonna [sic] start playing your part to get ALL fighters better pay and healthcare?”
McGregor, who has yet to respond to Paul, hailed Adesanya’s bumper new deal by saying: “Congrats Paradigm Sports Management Agency.

Future UFC Hall of Famer McGregor, 33, is currently gearing up for a potential summer return to the octagon.
The Irishman shattered his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier last July but has made a faster-than-anticipated recovery.
Paul, meanwhile, is currently playing the role of promoter ahead of Amanda Serrano’s clash with Katie Taylor but is eyeing a September return to the ring.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour, he said: “There’s a lot going on in other aspects of my life.
“I’m going to do these press conferences over the next two weeks here to help with the promotion around Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano and I’m very busy on the business side of things with my venture capital fund.
“So I haven’t even got back into the gym or been training at all.
“I need to have a discussion with my coaches but probably I would say August-September maybe. Maybe later. I’m trying to figure it out.
“Obviously if the stars align in some sort of way or I have a change of heart, then things can obviously move around but right now I don’t feel like that motivated to just go right back into another training camp.”
