TYSON FURY took part in a ‘brutal’ morning session yesterday, as he steps up his preparations to fight Dillian Whyte.The pair will do battle for a special ‘Union Belt’ as well as for the Gypsy King’s WBC heavyweight title.

Fury is cutting no corners as he prepares for the fight, working hard to stay in pristine shape.
Donning a Manchester United top and with a picture of himself celebrating in the ring in the background, the 33-year-old updated fans from the gym on Instagram.
He said: “Brutal session done this morning with Joe Parker, Kristian Blacklock and Isaac Lowe.
“Can see myself in the background there, giving myself motivation on a daily basis.
“Thursday morning was a tough morning, I will say.”
After a little break Fury was back at it, this time with his dad John Fury also taking part.

He added: “Just finished a lovely run, Morecambe Bay in the dark, with Isaac Lowe, my dad, Joseph Parker.
“Tell you what dad, doing well for nearly 60-years-old aren’t you? Well done.”
Fans have been left stunned by the shape that John is in, after he showed off his abs aged 57 in a bathroom selfie.
A date is yet to be set for Tyson’s bout with Whyte.
The WBC have awarded Whyte just 20 per cent of the purse – a basic £6million – and set a deadline of February 19th to return the signed contract.
The bout is set to take place on UK soil, Fury’s first home fight since 2018.
April 23 is a possible date on which it could take place, while Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and Man United’s Old Trafford have been touted as potential venues.

AMIR KHAN has doubled down on his Kell Brook racism accusation after his bitter rival said he would ‘break his poppadom chin’.The proud Pakistani-Brit has been involved in a war of words with his Saturday night opponent for 10 years but it took a more sinister turn on Thursday.

The 35-year-old Bolton ace waited for the big-fight press conference to push Brook on the filmed slur – which the Sheffield man insists was not racially motivated – and then vowed to punish him for it tomorrow.
The 2004 Team GB silver winner said: “I don’t usually talk about racism issues because sometimes I think it can just make things worse.
“But, when someone says something like that, it does upset you and it put me on a proper downer.
“I was really surprised when I saw that video, it was so sad, because I would never have thought that of Kell.
“He is not only having a dig at me but my religion and race, racism is not nice and he knows exactly what he means and he needs to get a beating for that.
“People need to see the real side of him. I am sure he has fans in the Pakistani, Indian and Asian community so he should not be coming out with comments like that.”

When asked if their overdue catchweight clash could still end in them settling the score and eventually becoming friends, he said: “No not after the racial comment.
“He has gone from hating me and being jealous but now it is too far, it is personal and too deep. I can’t be friends with a guy like that.”
Former IBF welterweight champ Brook, also 35, comes from the respected and multi-cultural Ingle gym and reckons Khan is playing the race card to try to turn fans against him.
And he insists the verbal dig was only in reference to Khan’s chin being flakey and prone to crumbling like the curry sundries. 
“I am absolutely not a racist character,” Brook said. “Khan is just trying to get everyone on his side and against me.
“Look where I am from, I am not racist at all, he is trying to throw me under the bus and get people to turn on me.
“I just meant his chin is as delicate as a poppadom and easy to break, that’s the only angle I meant.
“There was no racial intent at all.
“I have a lot of Pakistani, Asian and Indian fans but also friends and training partners in the gym who I am with all the time, every day. It’s a pathetic thing for him to do.”

SunSport understands Khan has written a 10lbs rehydration clause into the deal and will fine his nemesis £100,000 for every pound he comes in over on Friday afternoon and again on Saturday at the check-weight.
The follow-up weigh-in would usually happen first thing on the morning of the fight.
But a source close to the fight also told us that Team Khan wants the extra weigh-in a brutal FOUR HOURS before the 11pm bout – which would cripple Brook and limit his time to rehydrate.
Brook and his trainer Dominic Ingle are understandably fighting for it to be much closer to lunchtime so the former IBF welterweight champ can refuel properly.
But the back-and-forth was still rumbling on through Thursday night.

“I am sure he doesn’t want to be giving me 100s of thousands of pounds, he will kill himself making that weight.
“I woke up on Thursday at 151lbs, I am naturally quite slight. I could get the weight off with a light session or a walk.”
Brook openly admits he has really struggled to make the 10st 7lbs welterweight limit since he bulked up to middleweight for a big-money loss to Gennady Golovkin in 2016.
But he claims to be very close to the agreed 149lbs limit and will keep Khan guessing until the last knockings.
He grinned: “I might come in overweight. I will do whatever I want to do.
“It might be expensive or I might just keep my money.
“I am on the weight fine, about 151lbs now, it will be tactical.

Now that both fighters are at the ends of their careers, Khan and Brook have put their egos aside at the negotiating table to give boxing fans what they’ve been after for so long.
Khan hasn’t been in action for over two years, having last beat Billy Dib in a farcical fight back in the summer of 2019.
Before that he lost a world title fight at welterweight against pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford, who he has been training with in Nebraska ahead of his clash with Brook.
And it was Crawford who Brook last fought in November 2020, when Bud stopped Special K in the fourth round of their Las Vegas match-up.
Now the bitter rivals will put it all on the line when they meet in the middle of the ring at the AO Arena on February 19.

But former cruiserweight champion Johnny Nelson has encouraged Brook to come in OVERWEIGHT for his grudge match and pay the six-figure fine that comes with it.
Brook has publicly stated in the past that he has struggled to make the welterweight limit of 147lbs.
And the 35-year-old star could face similar issues come this weekend.
Former champ Nelson, 55, believes the fight will go ahead regardless and says a weight penalty could ‘double bluff’ Khan.
