JAKE PAUL vowed to knock out Conor McGregor in ‘boxing or MMA’ – as he boasted of having a ‘right hand of God’. McGregor, recovering from a broken tibia suffered in July, posted a video hitting pads as he ramps up his preparations to return.

But YouTuber-turned-prizefighting star Paul – who has continued his one-sided feud with the Irishman – mocked the workout video.
He posted on Instagram: “This is embarrassing @thenotoriousmma.
“Your chin wide open with no head movement for the PRBLM CHILD right hand of god.”
Paul then followed it up on Twitter, as he added: “I would KO Conor in boxing or MMA. Right hand of God.”

The American started calling out McGregor after he went 2-0, following stoppage wins over online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ and ex-NBA player Nate Robinson.
He has since won three more times, beating former UFC pair Ben Askren, and Tyron Woodley on points and by KO.
His pursuit of a mega-money boxing match against McGregor, 33, has not stopped but the ex-UFC champion has appeared uninterested.
But he did at least respond to Paul’s recent KO against Woodley and the reported pay-per-views sales.

McGregor told The Mirror: “Who knows? Never say never.”
He added: “I didn’t see the Woodley fight. It only did a couple thousand buys. I saw it online.”
McGregor made his ring debut in 2017 but lost to boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, 45, in ten rounds.
UFC fighters are otherwise prohibited from competing outside of the promotion – with the crossover clash a one-off not repeated since.
McGregor suffered his horror leg break against Dustin Poirier, 33, losing the fight by doctor stoppage.
He underwent surgery and has since been rehabilitating ahead of a UFC return later in the year. More

But Ali Abdelaziz, who manages the UFC welterweight king, blasted Canelo for refusing to fight in the cage.
Abdelaziz told MMA Junkie: “I know he didn’t want to fight Jake Paul; he didn’t want to fight Logan Paul.
“He said I’m the pound-for-pound king in MMA, I want to fight the pound-for-pound coward in boxing because I think all these boxers are cowards because none of them want to come to MMA.
“They all want to come to boxing, but at the end of the day, in a street fight, who’s the baddest man on the planet?

His pursuit of a mega-money boxing match against McGregor, 33, has not stopped but the ex-UFC champion has appeared uninterested.
