Promoter Eddie Hearn reiterated Bridges’ stance and defended her rise to the top.

He added: “There were a lot of people who felt when Ebanie came into the sport that it was a gimmick and about driving followers but there was method to the madness.
“What they don’t see is the dedication and she has really applied herself.

JOSH WARRINGTON broke his jaw in his stunning world title win over Kiko Martinez, an X-ray confirmed. The Leeds Warrior, 31, produced a magnificent performance from the first bell.

He secured an emphatic TKO in the seventh round to reclaim his IBF featherweight crown.
But despite winning, Warrington was rushed straight to hospital amid fears it had come at a cost and he had done some serious damage.
And they were proven with a scan.

“That’s a really interesting set-up, because he’s activated the rematch clause.
“But Sky only have to do the rematch if it is commercially viable. They don’t want it to go elsewhere — but they don’t really want to do it.
