      THE WBC are considering a tournament to determine a new heavyweight world champion if Tyson Fury confirms his retirement. Fury, 33, announced he was walking away on top after knocking out Dillian Whyte, 34, in front of 94,000 at Wembley.

      The WBC have confirmed Fury has a year until he will be stripped of the belt, when a mandatory challenger will be called.
      And the sanctioning body are still yet to get a definitive word on whether the Gypsy King will in fact remain retired.
      If Fury’s gloves do in fact remain hung up, the WBC are pondering a tournament between their contenders to determine a new belt holder.

      But the death of 73-year-old UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan forced the entire event to collapse. 
      And the UAE’s ministry of presidential affairs announced a 40-day period of mourning and a three-day suspension of work in all ministries.
      It left organisers scrambling to find a new date after the ring was put up only hours before the cancellation. 
      But Mayweather has since confirmed his return to the ring faced only a seven-day delay.

      Now, he will star alongside  Sean Penn and Tye Sheridan in Black Flies, according to The Week.
      The film centres around lifesaving paramedics and the toll the job takes on them, with Jean-Stephane Sauvaire directing.
      Tyson, 55, will play a superior officer in the movie and shooting is underway in New York.
