FLOYD MAYWEATHER will announce his next fight on MONDAY with the boxing legend set to return to Japan for an exhibition bout. Mayweather officially retired in 2017 but has been involved in three exhibitions in the ring since.

The first was in 2018 against featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in Tokyo which was promoted by RIZIN.
And now he is set to return to Japan again and link up with the MMA organisation for another exhibition bout.
Mayweather will hold a press conference in Las Vegas to announce the event and reveal his opponent.
The American icon walked away from professional boxing after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 33, in ten rounds.

But he marked his return by wiping out Nasukawa, 23, in one round of their mismatch.
Mayweather then faced YouTuber Logan Paul, 27, in June 2021 and gave away TWO STONE in the spectacle fight.
It went the full eight-round distance as Paul technically avoided defeat.
Mayweather’s most recent cameo in the ring came in May against former sparring partner Don Moore.

The fight was initially set to be held atop of a hotel HELIPAD in Dubai, 700ft above sea level, before it was scrapped ONE DAY beforehand.
It followed after the death of former UAE President Sheikh Khalifa, who passed away aged 73.
Mayweather would instead dominate Moore a week late in Abu Dhabi and confirmed he would fight again in the Middle East.
He said: “I will bring another fight back to the UAE this year.”
No opponent was announced and it remains uncertain if Mayweather will box in Japan or the Middle East first.

Ryan told SunSport: “I feel different in terms of I know what to expect from the press conference, the weigh in to walking out.
“The camp went really well. I’ve come in at the weight so I feel really good.
“For my first fight I was working three days a week and for this one I haven’t been working at all for the whole camp.

“I was training like a full-time athlete anyway but this time around I’ve had a lot more rest and recovery to really focus on my mental side.
“Physically I’ve always been great but for this one mentally I’m ready.”
Ryan’s epic journey has seen her sign for Anthony Joshua’s 258 Management agency and bag a major sponsorship deal with O2.
She started out at Barnet’s Finchley ABC gym in barnet where Joshua’s journey to stardom began and it was from there he took her under his wing.

Ryan added: “Working with 258 has been phenomenal. I’m being looked after and we’re working well together.

Ryan beat Claudia Ferenczi by unanimous decision on her pro debut at Boxxer’s Wembley show on March 26.
Despite her red hot start to the pro scene Ryan isn’t calling anyone out just yet for her next fight.

The two men collided in a WBA junior flyweight boxing title unification bout under the promotion of Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom.
But it was Kyoguchi who overcame two point deductions to destroy Bermudez before the fight was stopped 28 seconds into round eight at Domo Alcalde in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Kyoguchi drew blood early in the clash after delivering a number of combinations.
Bermudez continued to be unable to defend against his opponent’s uppercut in the second round.

The damage led to Bermudez having to visit the ringside doctor towards the end of the third after another cut on his forehead occurred.
And his face was then turned into a crimson mess as Kyoguchi continued to dominate, even though he could not find a knockout punch.
The official warned both men to avoid any more headbutts at the beginning of the sixth, with Kyoguchi then being deducted one point despite it being Bermudez that initiated forehead-to-forehead exchanges.
