The victory paves the way for a mouth-watering clash with WBC champion Fury – who confirmed at the weekend that he is open to coming out of retirement for the Usyk bout.
And Warren, who has promoted Fury since his comeback in 2018, insists the clash with the Ukrainian will be made.
Speaking to the BBC, he said: “He and Usyk would be a really good fight.
“It’s a fight that I think will be made because both teams would like to see that happen.

“Usyk said after the fight that it’s the only fight he’s interested in, and it’s certainly the same case with Tyson.
“It’s just a matter of where it will generate the most income because it’s a unique fight, a historic fight.
“It’s the first time for God knows how long that the four belts are on the line.
“Both fighters are undefeated. The whole world of boxing will be captivated by this fight.”

Warren also claimed that Joshua can still earn a shot against Fury, providing he bounces back from the two losses to Usyk.
He added: “If AJ manages to get a couple of wins under his belt – and I believe Tyson will beat Usyk – that may be a fight to be made.
“But AJ’s got to re-establish himself before you can even think about fights like that.”

Both Fury and Usyk are undefeated as professionals – Fury in 33 bouts and Usyk in 20.
Meanwhile, Joshua now has three defeats on his record – the two losses to Usyk coming after Andy Ruiz Jr stunned the world by KOing him back in 2019. More

TYSON FURY and Oleksandr Usyk finally look set to clash, with both their paths to the undisputed heavyweight titles cleared of any challengers. Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua for the second time last weekend to retain his WBA, WBO and IBF titles, picking up the Ring Magazine belt in the process.

Fury is the WBC champ and is coming off three huge consecutive stoppage wins himself.
The Gypsy King beat Deontay Wilder via TKO in 2020 to claim the title, before knocking him out in their trilogy clash last year.
Fury then overcame Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium, stopping him in the sixth round.
With no mandatory challengers due, and all the belts in the hands of just two fighters, the undisputed clash looks finally set to happen.

When is Fury vs Usyk going to take place?
A date has yet to be confirmed for Fury’s potential undisputed clash with Usyk.
But all signs look to be pointing at a December date.
And the venue could be Saudi Arabia once again, with Riyadh being targeted.
Talks are ongoing about hosting it on December 17 – the day before the World Cup Final in neighbouring Qatar.
Saudi Sports Minister HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud confirmed the country was keen to stage the fight.
“We’re interested, that’s all I can say. We are open to that. We’re bidding for a lot of events,” he said.
“If it does happen, it will be hosted in Riyadh. But we still haven’t decided on anything.”
What TV channel will it be on?
Fury vs Usyk has yet to be confirmed, but a TV channel will be announced once the fight is signed.
It’s extremely likely we’ll see the fight on BT Sport Box Office, where Fury’s last six fights have been shown.
Queensberry Promotions and Top Rank are set to promote the mega-event.

“But it’s not going to be cheap, if you want the best you have to pay.
“It’s going to be very expensive, so get your f***ing cheque book out and I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of the belts.”
Usyk put it simply after his win over Joshua – Fury and no-one else.

The 31-year-old, a former junior boxer himself, is understood to have been out watching Anthony Joshua take on Oleksandr Usyk with friends before he was fatally attacked.
Horrified revellers watched as a knife was plunged into his neck in the “senseless” and “unplanned” killing.
Violence is said to have broken out as a separate group argued over gaining entry to a pub.
According to pal and former coach Shaun Egan, Rico stepped in to break things up but the men turned on him.

Shaun, who coached Tyson’s cousin alongside his brother Steve at Jimmy Egan’s Boxing Academy in Manchester, told MailOnline: “From what I’ve heard it was just a bit of a scuffle.
“Some other guys were trying to get into a club and they wouldn’t let them in.
“The argument wasn’t with Rico, he was trying to calm it down.
“It was settled, then suddenly the guy stabbed them. It is unbelievable, so senseless.”

A witness added: “A few men were arguing outside and then suddenly two men were on the ground.
“It all happened so fast but no one knows what caused the fight.”
Emergency services rushed to the scene in Goose Green and Rico was taken to hospital, but he died a short time later.
A 17-year-old lad, believed to be a relative, remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Police arrested a man, 21, at the scene on suspicion of murder before detaining a second, 20, later that morning on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and murder.
Greater Manchester Police Superintendent Ben Ewart described the attack as “spontaneous and unplanned”.
He added: “This is without doubt a senseless attack and both victims should have returned home after enjoying a night out with friends.”
    ‘LOVELY LAD’
Tributes have flooded in for Rico, who friends describe as “a lovely lad” and “fantastic boxer”.
Steve Egan, 60, chief coach at Jimmy Egan’s Boxing Academy, said he was “devastated” by the news.
“He was an absolute talent,” he added. “He was such a nice lad, he was hardworking and had a great sense of humour.”
And in a social media post on Sunday, Tyson called on the government to “bring higher sentencing for knife crime” after his cousin was “stabbed in the neck”.
The heavyweight boxing champion wrote on Instagram: “My cousin was murdered last night, stabbed in the neck.
“This is becoming ridiculous… idiots carry knives. This needs to stop.”
He added: “ASAP, UK government needs to bring higher sentencing for knife crime.
“It’s a pandemic and you don’t know how bad it is until one of your own.
“Life is very precious and it can be taken away very quick. Enjoy every moment.”
Rico’s death comes amid a wave of knife and gun violence across the UK.
At least 11 people have been stabbed in England and Wales since last Monday.

Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper last night said: “Knife crime is destroying lives and devastating families.

Anthony Joshua’s Olympics coach blames cornermen for both world title defeats to Oleksandr Usyk

ANTHONY JOSHUA’S former Olympic coach has blamed the cornermen in BOTH the Brit’s world title losses to Oleksandr Usyk.AJ rose to prominence after he scooped gold at the London Olympics in 2012 with ex-coach Paul Walmsley by his side.

AJ swapped long term cornerman McCracken for Garcia ahead of the bout – but their both as bad as each other – Walmsley believesCredit: Getty
No-nonsense Walmsley, who previously revealed to thesportsman how he kept Joshua in line to attain the top gong, was amongst the millions of viewers who witnessed the Watford native’s split decision loss to Usyk on Saturday.
And Walsmey reckons AJ’s defeat is down to who was in the Brit’s corner on both occasions he’s faced Usyk.
He tweeted: “Big Josh let down by woeful cornermen in both fights.”
When asked by a fan what he would’ve done differently if he was in AJ’s corner on the night, Walmsley responded in depth: “Front foot pressure, staying in front of him as he moves.

“Let his shots go as Usyk came in ( Josh has the longer reach) therefore more chance of landing. Also easier to control ring space and put pressure on Usyk
“Josh kept pushing away as Usyk came in giving him more space to move.”
Rob McCraken was by Joshua’s side when Usyk beat him the first time at White Hart Lane.
He was replaced by American mastermind Robert Garcia ahead of the second fight – but to no avail.

And fans also felt Joshua’s corner played a part in his defeat as they told him he was winning after three rounds.
In fairness – the judges had scored it in favour of AJ at that stage.
But supporters felt Garcia’s overconfident outlook on the match led Joshua to take his foot off the gas.
The slugfest could’ve had a different outcome if AJ went the extra mile as he eventually lost on two of the three judges’ scorecards.
His frustration was clear to see after the bout that saw the Brit lose composure and deliver an F-bomb filled rant, plus throw Usyk’s belts out the ring. More
