      Chris Kamara signs for BBC as legend takes first job since stepping down from Sky Sports Soccer Saturday

      SKY SPORTS Soccer Saturday and football icon Chris Kamara will launch his own BBC podcast this summer.Kamara’s new show will replace That Peter Crouch Podcast.

      Kamara recently shared an image of himself in an oxygen chamber in his battle against illness
      The new venture comes after the 64-year-old announced his departure from Sky Sports in April following 24 years of service.
      He was one of Soccer Saturday’s biggest and most popular stars.
      The decision to leave Sky Sports came soon after he revealed he’s fighting Apraxia of Speech after viewers spotted him slurring his words.
      Earlier this month he shared an image of himself in an oxygen chamber to aid his recovery.

      Kamara’s new podcast is fittingly called “Unbelievable” – a tribute to his iconic Soccer Saturday catchphrase.
      TV presenter and West Ham super fan Ben Sheppard will present the show alongside Kamara.
      The pair are good friends having hosted Goals on Sunday and Ninja Warrior UK together in recent years.
      Kamara said in the BBC’s official statement: “This is a dream transfer and I can’t wait to tell you more about my new BBC podcast later this summer.

      But Saturday’s FA Cup final between his former side Liverpool and Chelsea will be his last appearance on the show.
      Lawrenson has also been a regular on the BBC’s Match of the Day and Final Score down the years.
      And on Football Focus ahead of the final at Wembley, Lawrenson was shown a montage which highlighting some of the funnier moments of his punditry career.
      Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also paid tribute to Lawrenson.

      COVERAGE of the FA Cup final on both BBC and ITV has been slammed by viewers as well as non-football supporters. Fans of Chelsea and Liverpool – which ended in a dramatic penalty shootout win for the Reds – were left furious over the choice of commentators for the big game.

      Again neither channel was winning the battle for viewership due to commentator selection

      Those watching on the BBC were unhappy that Jermaine Jenas was co-commentator for the game alongside Guy Mowbray.
      Meanwhile, fans tuning into ITV were as equally annoyed to hear the voices of Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon.

      FOOTBALL fans were left FUMING after the 2022 World Cup Draw switched channels on BBC mid-way through.Although viewers watching on BBC One were warned it would switch to BBC Two, it left people baffled as to why they would do it during the draw.

      TYSON FURY snubbed the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year awards in favour of a trip to Florida to watch Orlando Magic take on the Atlanta Hawks.The WBC heavyweight champ claimed he wouldn’t be given the award ‘even if I knocked out King Kong’.

      He told the Daily Mail: “The BBC would never let me win even if I knocked out King Kong.
      “I will be relaxed in the Florida sunshine while the BBC get on with their SPOTY in winter.
