      Barcelona set to field new defence made up almost entirely of free transfers with Chelsea’s Azpilicueta and Christensen

      BARCELONA are looking to completely revamp their defence this summer and will target Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen, according to reports.According to SPORT, the Spanish giants are so keen to sign the duo that they have already sent representatives over to London to get the deals done.

      Reports suggest that they have already convinced Azpilicueta, 32, to make the switch when his contract expires in June.
      He will be offered a two-year deal with the option to extend for a further season.
      Xavi is said to be a big fan of the Chelsea captain and is eager to get the deal over the line.
      Azpilicueta is one of the most decorated players in Blues’ history and recently became the first person to win every competition possible with the club.
      Barcelona are also planning to make a move for Christensen, whose contract also expires in the summer.
      He has attracted interest from other clubs across Europe, including Bayern Munich.

      The Catalans are due to confirm his arrival today after the North London club opted to save themselves around £15m in wages.
      Aubamayeng, who was earning around £350,000-a-week at the Emirates, has used the fortune he has amassed from playing the beautiful game to splash out on an impressive car collection.
      And he previously showed off five of his stunning fleet – which have been wrapped in silver, gold… and just about every colour of the rainbow on Instagram.
      Auba had four Lamborghinis – two Urus 4x4s, an Aventador and his beloved Huracan Spyder – and his stunning LaFerrari parked on his front drive.
      He has previously had his £270k Lamborghini Aventador, £150k Range Rover Sport and £140k Lamborghini Urus wrapped in gold at Yiannimize.

      Barcelona and Juventus offer to take exiled Aubameyang off Arsenal’s hands until end of season on loan transfer

      BARCELONA and Juventus have both made loan transfer offers for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports.The former Arsenal captain has been exiled by Mikel Arteta following his latest disciplinary issue, returning late visiting his mother in France, but that has not put off the two giant clubs.

      His last appearance was as a late substitute at Everton on December 6.
      After returning from the Africa Cup of Nations early after a heart scare, Aubameyang has trained alone – but now may have got a lifeline.
      According to The Athletic, the two European powerhouses have submitted formal approaches to sign the 32-year-old until the end of the season.
      The January transfer window closes for Barca in Spain at 11pm UK time on Monday night.
      For Juve in Italy, it is four hours earlier at 7pm UK time.
      Aubameyang looks set to remain frozen out in North London as they look to ship him out with 18 months left to run on his current contract – and Arsenal must decide if his relationship with Arteta is beyond repair.

      Gavi has already been considered a star by Xavi and one to watch for the future.
      But, his future at the Catalan club remains uncertain due to his low release clause and wages.

      ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN has signed up to an agency with strong links to Lionel Messi’s brother – fuelling speculation he is Barcelona bound.Chelsea’s Danish centre-half is out of contract at the end of this season and talks over a new deal stalled just before Christmas.
