Nketiah’s goal took place while Fulham ace Calvin Bassey was down injured
The North Londoners equalised with Bukayo Saka’s penalty in the 70th minute.
And Mikel Arteta’s men turned the game on its head with Eddie Nketiah just two minutes later.
But Arsenal’s attack and Nketiah’s goal took place while Fulham ace Calvin Bassey was down with an injury.
And fans weren’t happy with the way the striker hit the back of the net and lashed out on Twitter.

Not only were they furious Arsenal kept playing on, they also pointed out Nketiah may have been played onside by the injury defender.
One supporter commented: “Playing and scoring while Bassey is down. Complete b******t.”
Another posted: “Scandalous that the Arsenal goal stands idk why VAR doesn’t check for a foul on Bassey.”
A third tweeted: “Terrible decision in the Arsenal game! Saka fouls Bassey and gets away with it. Leads to a goal.”

And that Arsenal fan posted: “As much as I like to see us winning this, we should have put the ball out because Bassey is injured. No class at all Arsenal, highly disappointed.”
However, Fulham managed to equalise with Joao Palhinha in the 87th minute.
That was four minutes after Bassey was sent off with a second yellow card.
The centre-back was given his marching orders after blocking Nketiah during a counter-attack. More

Arsenal fans celebrate an entire transfer window without Draxler transfer link as rivals open talks to sign him instead

ARSENAL fans are celebrating that the club are NOT being linked with Julian Draxler this time round. This comes as the Gunners have reportedly approached the 29-year-old German midfielder in every window since 2017.
Draxler has been repeatedly linked with Arsenal in every recent transfer windowCredit: EPA
Julian Draxler and Arsenal has been a transfer rumour for what feels like an eternity.
After impressing at Schalke 04, he was linked with a move in every window under former boss Arsene Wenger.
And the connection continued under Wenger’s successors Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta.
Despite the Arsenal interest, Draxler instead chose to stick with Paris Saint-Germain.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
And eagle-eyed Arsenal fans are thrilled that the links have finally ceased during this window.
One Arsenal fan account wrote: “Arsenal are about to go through an entire transfer window without getting linked to Julian Draxler and Wilfred Zaha. We really have grown 😂”.
Another added: “This is evidence that we’re moving onto greater things 😂”.
A third wrote: “Thank god. I became really tired of that s***”.

A fourth joked: “Be careful there’s still a few days left”.
Draxler has reportedly been placed on the Parisians transfer list after falling out of favour at the club.
And according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Crystal Palace have made contact with the Ligue 1 champions over a move for Draxler.
The German international – who has just one year remaining on his contract – is interested in the idea of a move to London.
The transfer would bring Palace some necessary midfield reinforcement, as some key players being linked elsewhere.
Eberechi Eze has drawn interest from Manchester City, with Roy Hodgson’s side valuing him at £70m.
While Liverpool are also interested in fellow Selhurst Park midfielder Cheick Doucoure.

Leno will have to be at his best against his old team this weekendCredit: GETTY
    Arsenal v Fulham
Fans of the Cottagers will be concerned with what they’ve seen from their team so far this season.
They beat Everton on the opening weekend but were fully indebted to Bernd Leno’s NINE saves.
Last Saturday, Brentford strolled to a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage and the xG statistics suggest the winning margin should have been even greater.
    Most read in Dream Team
Given that Fulham have allowed their opponents 36 shots across their first two outings, it seems likely the Gunners will have their wicked way with Marco Silva’s men in north London.
2-0 is the most common prediction at this stage but we feel that’s conservative.
    Our Prediction: 4-0 to Arsenal
Erik ten Hag will demand a response from his side after defeat to SpursCredit: EPA
    Manchester United v Nottingham Forest
Steve Cooper’s side have been abysmal away from home since promotion to the top flight, having earned just eight points on the road in just over a year.
Ordinarily, the Red Devils would feel confident of big win but they’ve looked out of sorts at the start of the campaign.
Victory over Wolves was partially soured by the fact they were outplayed and defeat to Tottenham has left Erik ten Hag with a few problems to address.
However, the underlying numbers suggest Man United have done relatively well in terms of chance creation and just a slight improvement in the finishing department would yield positive results.
Our Prediction: 2-1 to Manchester United
Top of the league!Credit: DREAM TEAM
    Brighton v West Ham
The Seagulls couldn’t make it a hat-trick of 4-1 victories, could they?
We’re inclined to give the Hammers more credit after their spirited win over Chelsea on Sunday but a trip to the Amex is a daunting prospect these days.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have been in a league of their own this term when it comes to attacking impotence and with Nayef Aguerd suspended it will be very difficult for the visitors to hold firm.
Brighton’s have generated more xG from open play than any other club in the league after two Matchweeks – and it’s not even close.
    Our Prediction: 3-1 to Brighton
How many goals will Erling Haaland score at Bramall Lane?Credit: GETTY
    Sheffield United v Manchester City
Like Fulham v Arsenal, this match-up screams cricket score on paper.
The Blades allowed Forest 16 shots and they let Crystal Palace have 24 shots the week previous.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side will have to tighten up significantly if they are to avoid a mauling at the hands of Erling Haaland and company.
In contrast, the treble-winners are the only team yet to concede a goal in the Premier League this season.
The three most-common predictions all revolve around a clean sheet for the champions.
Our Prediction: 5-0 to Manchester City
Eddie Howe will be glad to be back in action at St James’ ParkCredit: REX
    Newcastle v Liverpool
This is by far the most competitive Score Predictor fixture this Matchweek.
Eddie Howe’s men ran riot against Aston Villa but were totally negated by Man City while the Reds bagged an expected win at home Bournemouth following their entertaining draw at Stamford Bridge.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops continue to look ultra threatening in attack but vulnerable in defence – an accurate description of Newcastle at the back end of last season as well.
The Magpies have home advantage and are well equipped to exploit the flaws in Liverpool’s system but it feels counterintuative to go against a team that includes Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah.
2-2 is the most-popular guess among all Score Predictor players at the time of writing and we’re inclined to agree.
    Our Prediction: 2-2 draw

Gabriel Jesus spotted back in Arsenal training in huge injury boost ahead of Fulham and Man Utd clashes

GABRIEL JESUS has been spotted in Arsenal training in a major boost ahead of the club’s clashes with Fulham and Manchester United. The striker has missed Arsenal’s opening games after suffering a knee injury in pre-season.

The forward underwent minor surgery to remove “debris” in his knee ahead of the campaign.
Manager Mikel Arteta did not put a strict time frame on Jesus’ return but his return to the team has likely come earlier than expected and will be a huge boost ahead of the international break.
Eddie Nketiah has done well in his absence, registering a goal and an assist.
The striker was seen training as part of the main group on social media, with the team engaging in some warm-up runs.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
The training video did not show any work the players did with the football, so it remains to be seen as to whether Jesus will take part in full training with the squad.
So whether Arteta opts to throw Jesus straight back into the starting XI against Fulham on Saturday remains to be seen.
Arsenal fans on Twitter were delighted to see their number nine involved with the squad again, with one tweeting: “The league is not ready.”
    Another wrote: “What a miracle!”

A third posted: “Banger of a player….we are winning the league.”
While a fourth wrote “Magic back at the Emirates,” alongside a wand and wizard hat emoji.
Jesus was a key part of Arsenal’s title challenge last season, registering 11 goals and seven assists in 26 league games.
An injury towards the end of the campaign saw the striker drop out of the team and Nketiah deputise as he has done this season.

Jesus’ injury however did coincide with Arsenal’s loss of form which ultimately saw them miss out on the title to Manchester City.
Arteta has been impressed with Nketiah so far this season after dropping him for the Community Shield final.
He said after Nketiah scored in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest: “He was a player who was so disappointed not to play the final in the absence of Gabi.
“What he did was he came on the field in the final and changed the game. That’s number one. The second one was the way he was training this week was saying ‘gaffer, if you’re not playing me you are blind’.
“A lot of players come and say ‘oh why am I not playing’ and you have to try to explain, other players come and say ‘these are the reasons why I deserve to play’. This is exactly what Eddie does.”

Nketiah then won the penalty which Martin Odegaard converted to claim all three points against Palace in a 1-0 victory on Monday evening. More

Rice – who was named Player of the Match – spoke to Sky Sports at full-time, but he was quickly hit with a small jibe about his transfer fee.
The midfielder signed for Arsenal in a £105million transfer from West Ham last month, making him the most expensive player in Premier League history.
However, that record was broken last week when Caicedo completed a huge £115m move from Brighton to Chelsea.
Monday Night Football presenter David Jones was eager to bring the record up in the post-match interview with Rice.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
He said: “Can’t believe Caicedo has already broken your record though, Declan!
“You can’t be happy with that!”

To which the midfielder responded: “I had it up on the wall for two weeks, it’s come down already!”
Fans praised Rice for his “perfect response” to the comment, with one person tweeting: “He’s even entertaining off the pitch! Worth every penny that £105m.”

Another added: “Finally some good banter.”
A third wrote: “Probably the best £105m spent this window from any club.”
While a fourth commented: “Perfect response.”
Rice became one of four new additions to the Arsenal squad this summer.
Kai Havertz joined the club in a £65m transfer from Chelsea before Jurrien Timber followed in a £40m move from Ajax.
David Raya became Mikel Arteta’s latest signing last week when he joined Arsenal on a season-long loan.
The Gunners have the option to buy the goalkeeper from Brentford for £27m next summer. More

Premier League giants on transfer red alert as Ansu Fati ‘decides to LEAVE Barcelona’

ANSU FATI is set to spark a Premier League scramble after deciding to leave Barcelona.Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham have all been linked to making a move for the winger.
Ansu Fati has decided to leave BarcelonaCredit: Getty
And the Prem trio will be among clubs scrapping for the Spain international’s signature this summer.
Fati, 20, burst onto the scene as a teenager three years ago, having been at Barcelona since he was nine.
He is the youngest goal scorer in Champions League history, at the age of 17 years and 40 days.
And he even inherited Lionel Messi’s iconic No 10 shirt with the Argentina legend left the club in 2021.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
But Fati has slipped down the pecking order under boss Xavi.
And Spanish publication AS report that the Guinea Bissau-born star now wants out.
That represents a change of heart for Fati, who had been determined to earn his boss’ trust.
But he was left on the bench for the disappointing 0-0 La Liga opener against Getafe.

And, to rub salt in the wound, he saw unknown kids Abde Ezzalzouli and Lamine Yamal come on ahead of him as Barca desperately hunted a winner.
Fati was finally called on in the 79th minute, but failed to make an impact.
And that appears to have been the final straw for Fati, as he looks to resurrect his career elsewhere.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly also keen but have yet to contact Barcelona, meaning Prem sides can get a head start. More

Arsenal keeper David Raya could get awkward reception from team-mates over his neck tattoo

NEW Arsenal arrival David Raya could be in for an awkward reception from his Arsenal team-mates when they find out the meaning of his neck tattoo. The former Brentford stopper has a tattoo on the back of his neck that reads ’13-08-2021′ to commemorate his Premier League debut with the Bees.
David Raya was unveiled as an Arsenal player yesterdayCredit: Getty
But the player’s neck tattoo could lead to some awkward questions in the Gunners dressing roomCredit: Getty
That particular night saw Brentford beat Arsenal 2-0 in what was one of Mikel Arteta’s most testing moments as Arsenal manager.
It was a perfect Prem debut for Raya, who kept a clean sheet as goals from Sergi Canos and Christian Norgaard put the game beyond any doubt for the Bees.
Arsenal would go on to lose their next two games to Chelsea and Manchester City which left the Gunners rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table without scoring a goal.
The results saw the likes of Gary Neville lay into Arsenal’s “poor recruitment” and “lack of direction” in what was a testing time for the club.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
But the Gunners bounced back to narrowly miss out on top four that season before following that up with last season’s title challenge.
Raya is the latest signing in an aggressive transfer strategy from Arsenal this summer.
The keeper is the Gunners’ fourth signing following deals for Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.
Arteta is keen to create competition for places this season as he looks to go one better than last and win the Premier League.

And that extends all the way to the goalkeeper position with Raya coming in despite the popularity of Aaron Ramsdale both with fans and in the squad.
Raya has signed for Arsenal on an initial £3million one year loan deal with a £27m option to buy next summer.
It remains to be seen how Arteta will deal with having two Premier League proven keepers to pick from – with some suggesting one will play in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.
Or he could follow in the footsteps of Roberto De Zerbi, who revealed that he will rotate between goalkeepers Jason Steele and Bart Verbruggen on a game by game basis. More
