But he could be set for another switch amid rumours of a £10million release clause.
Adarabioyo cost an initial £1.5m a year ago and City are thought to hold a 20 per cent sell-on clause for his next move.
According to Sky Sports’ transfer centre, Adarabioyo is among a number of targets for the newly-promoted Canaries.

And Odegaard, 22, is looking forward to finally getting a full season at the Bernabeu having signed back in 2015.
He told Norway’s TV2: “Real Madrid have been clear that they would like me back.
“So then it will be time to go there when the training starts up again.
“Of course it has always been a dream to play there.
“I have been in the club for over six years now, and that has always been the goal.
“I always want to play, I have said that all the time. Playing hard is important.”

Arsenal have recently been linked with a number of central playmakers as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his creative options.
Anderlecht star Albert Sambi Lokonga has reportedly agreed personal terms ahead of a transfer costing in the region of £17million.
But Aaron Ramsey looks to be staying put in Juventus with the Serie A giants close to snapping up Gunners target Manuel Locatelli.
Odegaard was on Arteta’s wishlist earlier in the summer but will link up with Carlo Ancelotti’s Madrid when pre-season begins.

Isak was already being watched closely by European giants after bagging 17 LaLiga goals last season.
Real Madrid are one of the teams interested and have reportedly made contact with the player’s agent.
But AS write how Arsenal have stolen a march, having also spoken to the Swede’s representatives.
The Gunners want to determine whether Isak would be eager to make the switch to London before making their move.
The report adds how Arsenal would even be willing to match his release that currently stands at £59million.
Isak still has three years left on his deal in Spain but Real Sociedad are keen to offer him an improved deal and raise his release clause to £76m.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is eager to land a new, young striker as he looks towards the future.
Alexandre Lacazette, 30, currently has just a year left on his contract while 32-year-old Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored just 10 times in the league last season.

Sweden boss Janne Andersson told SunSport before the tournament how he expected Isak to be a star of the Euros.
He said: “Alex has had a very good season in Spain and has performed well for us as well.
“He made his first appearance with us in 2019 and has been improving a lot since then. There are many good players at the Euros but Alex is a player that has the quality to make a big impact in the tournament.”

Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac wanted by Lazio and Fenerbahce in permanent transfer as Arteta gets set for clearout

ARSENAL defender Sead Kolasinac is reportedly being chased by Lazio and Fenerbahce amid uncertainty over his future. The 28-year-old played second fiddle to Kieran Tierney in the first half of the 2020-21 campaign at the Emirates.
Kolasinac could be set for a move away from ArsenalCredit: Getty
And that led him to make the loan move to struggling Bundesliga side Schalke until the end of the season.
Yet despite his 17 league appearances for the top tier German outfit, they finished bottom of the table with just 24 points.
And according to Football London, Lazio and Fenerbahce are the frontrunners to land the Bosnian full-back.
The Turkish giants Fenerbahce recently signed Kolasinac’s teammate Mesut Ozil, so that could entice him to sign for them.
But Olympiacos are also said to be in for the defender where ex-Arsenal centre-back Sokratis now plies his trade.
Since arriving in North London in 2017, Kolasinac has made 113 appearances for the club, scoring five goals.
He was also a part of the team which lifted the FA Cup in the 2019-2020 season.

But he made just one league appearance in the first half of the season, a lack of minutes which led him to seek a temporary way out of England.
And he found himself at Schalke in January as he went from mid-table obscurity in the Premier League to a relegation battle in the Bundesliga.
But it remains to be seen whether he will pull on the Arsenal shirt again in the upcoming campaign.

Aaron Ramsey’s agent rules out Arsenal transfer after Wales star was linked with sensational Gunners return

AARON RAMSEY’S agent has shot down talk of a return to Arsenal this summer. The Wales and Juventus playmaker, who left the Emirates in 2019 when his contract expired, has been linked with a second Gunners stint after two injury-hit seasons in Italy.
Aaron Ramsey is not going back to Arsenal according to representative David Baldwin
But Ramsey’s representative David Baldwin cooled talk of the 30-year-old midfielder making a Premier League comeback to North London or beyond.
Responding to a tweet from an Arsenal fan account, Baldwin tweeted: “I’m sorry but can you stop making things up please. There is not a shred of truth in your tweet.”
Ramsey, who has started all three of Wales’ Euro 2020 games, stated on the eve of the tournament he plans to make a fresh start under new Juventus boss Max Allegri after the finals.
When asked if Ramsey is staying put in Turin, he replied: “Yes, I’m a Juventus player.”
Ramsey still has two years left to run on his current deal with the Old Lady.
He has impressed for Wales at Euro 2020 so far, scoring a goal against Turkey that was valuable to the team’s progression from Group A.
And Allegri is likely keeping a close eye on Ramsey and his fellow Juventus players at the tournament ahead of his return to Turin.
