Arsenal seeking out transfer bids for Willian, Bellerin and Torreira with Mikel Arteta desperate to offload all three

But there are no takers as of yet, with the Gunners ‘looking for bids’ after the trio were made redundant by Mikel Arteta.
Brazilian winger Willian, 33, only joined the club on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer.
But he failed to impress at the Emirates and no longer has a future under Arteta.
Romano claims links with top Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli were ‘completely fake’.
And although Willian himself has been looking to leave Arsenal since May, his mammoth £220,000-a-week wages are putting off approaches from interested parties.
Meanwhile, Spanish right-back Bellerin, 26, was strongly linked with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan earlier this summer.

But all three clubs have now strengthened that position in their respective squads.
And Bellerin’s only hope could come in a shock swap deal for Atletico Madrid’s ex-Spurs star Kieran Trippier.

Finally, Uruguayan midfielder Torreira, 25, spent last season on loan with Atleti and has not won back Arteta’s trust.
Jose Mourinho’s Roma are reportedly interested after failing to sign fellow Arsenal man Granit Xhaka.
But there are said to be several other Serie A sides in the running, with a loan deal a more likely outcome.

And they have finally agreed a permanent deal for the 22-year-old, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The midfielder has reportedly agreed a five-year contract and is already in London for a medical.
Romano tweeted: “Martin Odegaard to Arsenal, here we go and deal confirmed!
“Permanent move – bit less than €40m to Real Madrid. Personal terms already agreed on five years contract.
“Edu and Arteta wanted Odegaard as only priority since June, strategy was correct… and now, done deal.”
Odegaard spent last season on loan at the Emirates and put in some impressive performances.

But it appeared he hadn’t done enough for Arsenal to push for a permanent deal, and he returned to Real Madrid.
Odegaard did not train with his Real team-mates on Tuesday as he looked to thrash out his future.
The midfielder scored two goals in 20 appearances under Gunners boss Mikel Arteta last season.
But Arsenal were dealt a blow when it looked like Madrid were set to keep hold of him as cover for the injured Toni Kroos.
The Gunners were able to fund the deal after they sold Joe Willock to Newcastle for £25m.

Odegaard’s agent landed in London on Tuesday to finalise the move.
He had two years left on his Real contract but it gradually became apparent he did not have a future under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.
The final nail in the coffin was when he was left without a squad number as his No 21 shirt was handed to Rodrygo.

However, we reported that the Gunners had given up on signing the 23-year-old midfielder.
Locatelli’s preferred destination has always been the Bianconeri instead of Arsenal’s more lucrative offer and now his dream switch is set to be completed.
Several reports in Europe have confirmed that Juventus have agreed to pay Sassuolo £30m for the star.
Juve have also agreed to initially make it a two-year loan with the obligation to buy for £30m including other potential bonuses.
That obligation will be activated as soon as Juventus get their first Serie A point of the 2022-23 season.
Locatelli has now arrived in Turin to undergo his medical and finalise the transfer.

The move will cap an epic summer for the ace after he helped his country beat England at Wembley to win Euro 2020.
Last term he made 34 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo – his third season with the Italian side.
Locatelli started his career at AC Milan, featuring 63 times in all competitions before joining Sassuolo in the summer of 2018.

But SunSport revealed last week that the Gunners were unwilling to meet his £35million asking price.
However, that has not dampened Ramsdale’s enthusiasm for a Blades exit.
New boss Jokanovic has revealed the gloveman still wants a return to the top flight before the transfer window closes this month.
And having initially cooled their interest, Arsenal are now pushing hard for Ramsdale following their 2-0 defeat to newly-promoted Brentford.
But Jokanovic has warned Arteta he will not let Ramsdale go for pennies.
The Blades boss said: “It’s natural he wants to be a Premier League player. I am talking with him, he believes it can be a good move for himself.

“If he is one of the best players in the league, his price is high and it’s up to Arsenal if they want him. They need to spend a lot of money.
“I will be disappointed [if he leaves] but it’s part of the realistic situation.
“Arsenal is pushing from one side and I am pulling from a different side.”
