The flashy present retails at £795 but it wasn’t the cost that had fans buzzing.
The packaging had a huge classic photo of Enzo Ferrari on it but many Gunners fans online genuinely thought it was ex-midfielder Mesut Ozil.
One is a former Arsenal playmaker, the other one of the most famous names in motorsport, but they look identical.
In fact, it’s commonly believed Ozil is the reincarnation of Ferrari, as he was born just weeks after the Italian legend’s death.

And fans one social media joked that the Basaksehir star was still in the Arsenal dressing room.
One said: “What a lovely thing to do and he got Ozil to dress up and drive a Ferrari for the photo on the box.”
Another user added: “Is that Ozil driving the car?”
One fan laughed: “Will never forget when Enzo Ferrari left all the defenders on the floor and scored that late winner against Ludogorets.”

Arsenal to make THIRD transfer offer for Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz in January and it will be LESS than previous bids

ARSENAL will make another move for Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz in January despite having two bids knocked back on transfer deadline day.Manager Mikel Arteta is becoming increasingly concerned about the recurring absence of injury-prone Thomas Partey and wants a top quality replacement to reinforce his squad.

And he hopes Villa could finally be persuaded to cash in on Luiz in the New Year rather than lose the 24-year-old Brazilian international for nothing next summer.
But the Premier League leaders are likely to offer less than the £23million they were willing to pay for the player just four weeks ago.
Because Luiz will have less than six months of his Villa contract remaining when the transfer window reopens and he has refused all the club’s efforts to extend his deal.
And Arsenal believe that a £15million bid would be a more than reasonable price for a player who only cost Villa £12.5million when he joined them from Manchester City in 2019.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
Luiz, who has barely featured in Steve Gerrard’s starting line-up this season, is known to be keen on a move to the Emirates and already has a good relationship with Arteta from their time together at City.
And his signing would be a real statement of intent from Arsenal, who started the season aiming for the top four but now have ambitions of challenging for the title.
But if they are going to fulfil those dreams they will need all their key players available on a regular basis.
And Partey’s failure to overcome his frequent fitness issues is becoming a real cause for concern.

The Ghanaian international missed the crucial final nine games of last season as Arsenal fell apart in the run-in and lost out on a top four finish to Spurs right at the death.
He has already missed half of their eight games this season with a persistent thigh problem and has just returned early from international duty after complaining of discomfort in his knee.
Arsenal are hopeful that his latest injury is not serious but are not taking any risks ahead of Saturday’s crucial North London derby. More

Gabriel Jesus’ camp confident he will be in Brazil squad for Qatar World Cup after Arsenal striker’s shock axing

GABRIEL JESUS’ representatives are confident he will earn a place in Brazil’s World Cup squad – despite not being selected during this international break. The Arsenal striker, 25, has been on fire since his £45million summer move from Manchester City, with four goals and three assists in his opening seven Premier League games this season.

Despite this form, he was controversially left out of the Brazil squad by manager Tite, who instead favoured Tottenham’s Richarlison as his No9.
The Spurs forward – who also arrived in North London in the summer – appears to have tightened his grip on that position, scoring twice in a 3-0 win over Ghana last week.
Richarlison, 25, should also feature tonight against Tunisia – Brazil’s final outing before their opening World Cup group stage game versus Serbia on November 24.
Jesus later admitted he “respected” Tite’s decision to leave him out.

However, SunSport understands that Jesus’ agents are not worried about his recent axing, and believe Tite merely wants to look at other options.
They believe Jesus is already well known and understood by Tite having made his debut under the coach back in 2016 before going on to score 19 goals in 56 appearances.
Although there may be some anxious waiting by the phone in the coming weeks, his agents feel he should be included in the final squad for Qatar.
Jesus’ last goal for his country was back in June, coming off the bench in a friendly against South Korea before netting in injury time in a 5-1 win.

Jesus is not the only Gunners player not to be selected in Tite’s squad this month, with Gabriel Martinelli and defender Gabriel Magalhaes also deemed surplus to requirements.
Martinelli’s place is far less certain, despite a bright start this campaign, with the likes of Neymar, Raphinha, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Antony all vying for an attacking spot.
The 21-year-old Arsenal winger only made his senior debut for Brazil back in March, and has made three international appearances since. More

i News claim that Toon bosses are considering joining the race for his signature.
The Ukrainian side have named a pricetag just short of £50million and the Magpies are looking for a winger.
A Prem senior recruiter is reported to have said: “It’s an absolute certainty that he will be playing in the Premier League in the next 12 months”.
The forward is in demand following his stunning start to the season where he has caught the eye in the opening two Champions League matches.

Mudryk chipped in with a goal and two assists in the 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig, before he got on the score sheet in this month’s 1-1 draw with Celtic.
Newcastle’s top flight rivals Arsenal know all too well about his qualities having tracked the forward – dubbed the ‘Ukrainian Neymar’ – in the summer.
It was even said how the Gunners had agreed personal terms with the player, but a move failed to materialise.
Mikel Arteta remains a huge admirer of Mudryk, with it understood the North London outfit will go back in for him in January to provide competition for Gabriel Martinelli.

How Arsenal’s squad depth looks amid injury crisis as Mikel Arteta faces struggle after international break

IT would be fair to say the Arsenal fanbase in general showed a lack of faith and a fair amount of concern at the end of the transfer window. The worries concentrated around a lack of depth in central midfield and also on whether the squad had cover to rest and rotate an overworked Bukayo Saka.

The likes of key man Thomas Partey has already missed games this seasonCredit: Getty
Oleksandr Zinchenko has already had to sit out games this season through injury tooCredit: Getty
Mikel Arteta has been sweating over the fitness of his squad in recent weeks too, with as many as eight players doubtful for this weekend’s crucial North London derby following the international break.
But perhaps some of the anxieties have eased as squad members have stepped up nicely and new signings have been belatedly blooded.
So, as The Gunners sit proudly at the top of the Premier League, it is a good time to freshly assess the squad and ask the question – do Arsenal have the depth required until January?
We have only had a minimal look at Matt Turner as Aaron Ramsdale’s understudy, but he looked far more accomplished in Zurich and the more he plays the stronger he will become.
The full-back areas are interesting with Ben White currently the man in possession and Takehiro Tomiyasu his understudy at right back.
Both are tuned into the role and will tuck in comfortably when our left back advances to make a back three. And we still have Cedric Soares, a full international, if White is needed centrally.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
On the left there is some concern with Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney seemingly injury prone, but Tomiyasu is highly comfortable there if both first choices are injured in tandem.
Centrally, Arteta has settled on the William Saliba-Gabriel Magalhaes combination at present and the partnership is thriving. White will be cover for the young Frenchman over Rob Holding despite the latter’s popularity and leadership qualities.
I have more concern at left centre back, as with Mari departed, Gabriel is the only leftie and we know Arteta likes his central defenders on their natural foot if possible.
I imagine in the event of an injury to the Brazilian, Saliba, having played left centre back in France, would be asked to move across. The alternative is to switch to a three and utilise Tierney there.

The lack of a left footed understudy, however, is a weakness and I am sure Auston Trusty’s loan progress at Birmingham City will be closely monitored.
Albert Sambi Lokonga has certainly stepped up in Thomas Partey’s absence and played very well at the base of the midfield, allowing Martin Odegaard and Granit Xhaka to stay advanced.
Given his manager’s concerns, with Mohamed Elneny playing ahead of him in the spring, Lokonga has answered his critics to some degree and proved a worthy understudy to the Ghanaian.
Time will tell, but I cannot see a January move for Douglas Luiz if Sambi thrives in Europe, the Carabao Cup and in covering for Partey in the league.
At Brentford we saw a first start for Fabio Vieira, who acquitted himself very well.
He offers different attributes to Odegaard and Xhaka and can certainly be used alongside or instead of either.
    GREATEST CONCERN
The greater concern is the ongoing fitness problems for Emile Smith Rowe.
The England star is an obvious alternative ‘8’ as well, more of a dribbler than a passer, which offers great energy and variety to the other three, but he needs to stay healthy.
We already know that Eddie Nketiah can play alongside Gabriel Jesus and compliment or deputise for him.
The England U21 record goal scorer has risen to the challenge and looks as if he will positively impact the match when he is brought on.
When Nketiah comes on centrally, Jesus can move wide but the greater concern was who might provide respite for Saka.
Arteta has expressed his faith in new signing Marquinhos, and he certainly impressed deputising on the right wing in Zurich with a goal and an assist.
Another minor concern is the fact that with Smith Row struggling, Gabriel Martinelli is having to play virtually every minute, which is an unsustainable situation.
    THE KEY FOR ARTETA
But as with the likes of Tomas Rosicky, Alexander Hleb and Samir Nasri under Arsene Wenger, technically gifted and creative players can adapt to playing wide so we might see Vieira tried there.
Technical ability, alongside flexibility, is key for Arteta and Edu.
The new players are comfortable receiving the ball in tight areas and are accomplished in distribution, but equally they can play in more than one role.
We have seen this already in 22/23 with White, Zinchenko and Tomiyasu at the back and I feel Smith Rowe and Vieira will also offer that high level adaptability further up the pitch.
    Read More on The Sun
I am sure the club will be closely watching the areas of weakness and how the new additions perform.
But with better fortunes on injuries and less matches before the January window due to the World Cup, Arsenal’s squad is looking strong and flexible, with the latter being crucial.

‘I had to sack 55 staff, only to find out I was the 56th’ – Raul Sanllehi opens up on Arsenal exit after pandemic hell

FORMER Arsenal chief Raul Sanllehi has opened up on his struggles working at Arsenal during the coronavirus pandemic. The former head of football, 56, also admitted that he doesn’t hold it against owners – The Kroenkes.

The pandemic saw Sanllehi lay off 55 members of staff at Arsenal, before being axed himself.
Sanllehi, who is now director at Spanish second division side Real Zaragoza, told The Athletic about how “everything fell apart” for him in London.
He said: “I loved it at Arsenal. You cannot imagine — the people in the club, the history of the club.
“I really felt I was at the top of the world there. I love the owners, the Kroenkes. But the last 10 months there were horrible. I had to lay off 55 people, without knowing I was the 56th.”

“I don’t feel betrayed by the Kroenkes.
“The Kroenkes had the LA Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, and all of a sudden, all those teams could not play [due to lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic].
“You still had to pay the salaries. You did not have guaranteed broadcasting revenues.
“They entered into panic, but a logical panic, as the world entered into panic. Without Covid, I am sure I would still be there, as my relationship with the Kroenkes was great.

“It is funny now, but I remember in December 2019, I had dinner with the four guys: Mikel Arteta, Edu, Huss Fahmy and Per Mertesacker.
“On the toast, I said, ‘Now, it is on us. Now it is exactly the model I asked for. If it does not work, we have no excuses’.
“That team for me was a dream team at that time. Then in March, everything just fell apart. It was sad.”
Sanllehi even claimed he would have NEVER have made Arteta manager of the Gunners.
The Spaniard reckons the appointment “betrayed the model” in place at the Emirates, and Arteta should have stayed on as head coach.
After joining in December 2019, Arteta’s role changed from head coach to first-team manager the following September, shortly after Sanllehi left the club.
He added: “I do not agree when clubs call the first-team coach the manager.
“First-team coach is first-team coach, that is enough. Nowadays, the workload is overwhelming, and I need him to concentrate on the first team.
“Anything that distracts you from that is not your responsibility — travel arrangements, the pitch, salary budget, medical department.
“We will get other people to do that. The first-team coach is short-term oriented — just win tonight’s game.

“They have betrayed the model a little bit now. By going back to the manager at the top, that is a mistake, but that is their mistake.
“I would have not allowed that to happen. But that’s fine, it is working so far for them.”  More

Arsenal transfer blow as Gunners ‘have NO chance’ of signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in January swoop

JUVENTUS striker Dusan Vlahovic will NOT be joining Arsenal in January after rumours of a reported swoop. That is the view of transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who has had his say on the Gunners’ interest in the 22-year-old.
Arsenal have been told they have NO chance of signing Juventus striker Dusan VlahovicCredit: AFP
Mikel Arteta was desperate to bring the Serbian star to the Emirates in last season’s winter window, but the player opted to join the Old Lady instead.
And Vlahovic then opened up on snubbing the North London outfit where he insisted he never entertained the thought of signing for Arsenal.
Vlahovic banged in nine goals for Juve in the second half of the 2021-22 campaign, but he has struggled for form this term with Massimilano Allegri’s men eighth in Serie A.
This has led to speculation that Arsenal could reignite their interest in the centre-forward in a double raid with his team-mate Fabio Miretti also on their radar.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
But Italian reporter Romano has poured cold water over any potential deal for Vlahovic, insisting there hasn’t been any contact between the two clubs.
Speaking in his column for CaughtOffside, he said: “At the moment there’s absolutely nothing between Dusan Vlahovic and Arsenal.
“We can’t predict the future but as of now there’s not even a direct contact.
“Vlahovic is key player for Juventus and they invested €75m [£67m] plus add-ons for him, so it’s extremely unlikely.

“He was great last season with Juventus, this year all the players are not performing.
“So I don’t think it’s Vlahovic’s fault that he’s not yet performed at his very best.”

But he hasn’t got on the score sheet in his last four matches in all competitions. More
