Canelo wants to avenge his light-heavyweight loss to Dmitry Bivol next September but will return in a May fight beforehand.
And Hearn has already spoken to his trainer and manager Eddy Reynoso about doing so against Ryder.
The occasion will be so momentous that the promoter is ready to bring Canelo over to London for the first time at the Emirates.
He told iFL TV: “I’ve already texted Eddy Reynoso saying, ‘He’s mandatory, let’s do it.’

“I think to have Canelo Alvarez in London would be unbelievable and Joh Ryder has paid his due.
“He’s just beaten Danny Jacobs, he’s just beat Zach Parker, he’s mandatory to Canelo Alvarez, let’s give Johnny Ryder that big fight.
“Maybe at the Emirates, he loves his Arsenal. Yeah, I think that fight could be next for Canelo Alvarez.”
Canelo, 32, most recently beat Gennady Golovkin, 40, in their September trilogy bout which saw him return to super-middleweight.

He successfully defended his undisputed crown having lost to Russian Bivol up in weight.
Meanwhile Ryder, 34, won the WBO “interim” super-middleweight title at the O2 after Parker was withdrawn at the end of round four with a suspected broken hand.
Should Canelo vacate his title, the Londoner would be elevated to the full champion.

Arsenal boost as club set to win transfer race for Mykhaylo Mudryk with Shakhtar Donetsk ‘dropping price to £40million’

ARSENAL have received a huge boost in the race to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk, according to reports. The Gunners are keen to bolster their title hopes by recruiting a winger in January – with Mudryk fitting the bill.

SunSport revealed that club bosses are willing to inject £50million into the January transfer kitty given their side’s blistering start to the season.
Their hopes of signing Mudryk took a hit earlier this month, when Shakhtar chiefs demanded £88.8million for their star man – comparing him to Manchester United ace Antony.
According to the Mirror, however, the Ukrainian club have now significantly lowered their demands.
They claim that their asking price for Mudryk has been slashed by more than half to £40m.

The development comes after the 21-year-old admitted to being “wounded” by Shakhtar’s demands.
He told Sport Arena: “When I found out about my price, I wasn’t just surprised – I was shocked.
“I have a long-term contract with Shakhtar, I give all my strength and energy so that Shakhtar achieves maximum results, but every football player has a dream to play in a top club and in a top championship – I am no exception.
“But I am 100 per cent sure that they are unlikely to buy a player from the championship of Ukraine for 100million (euros).

“I will not hide that I was very upset. The amount of €100m puts a barrier for my transition to the top championship, which I so dreamed of.
“I can’t say that my dream was killed, but wounded – that’s for sure.”
Mudryk, 21, received strong interest from Prem duo Everton and Brentford last summer.
His stock has only grown since – particularly given his performances in the Champions League.
Arsenal have entered the race for his signature – alongside the likes of Manchester City, Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking earlier this month, Mudryk hinted that his future could lie in North London.

He said: “From a purely theoretical-fantasy perspective, if there was the option of being a bench player for Real Madrid or a starter for Arsenal, I’d probably choose Arsenal.
“But I’d first want to know from the head coach that I’d receive a chance.” More

But he has started just three games in all competitions as we head into the World Cup break.
And according to AS, Barcelona are already keen to move him on in the January window.
Xavi missed out on right-backs Cesar Azplicueta, Juan Foyth and Thomas Meunier ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
As a result, he eventually landed on agreeing a one-year deal for Bellerin as a low-cost solution.

However, his poor displays are set to see him booted out just six months after signing for his boyhood club.
Bellerin made 239 appearances for Arsenal, winning the the FA Cup in 2015, 2017 and 2020.
He has also received four caps for the Spain national team.

Thuram, 25, has 13 goals in 17 games this term and is in Les Bleus’ World Cup squad.
His contract is due to expire in the summer and it means he is free to talk to clubs outside Germany from January.
Newcastle’s Saudi owners are happy to back Eddie Howe’s surprise crack at the Premier League’s top four and have the cash to launch a big bid.
Another player Newcastle are reportedly in talks to sign is Argentine wonderkid Maximo Perrone.

The Velez midfielder has impressed this season in the defensive midfield role and has been the bright spark for the 26th-placed side in the Primera Division.
The 19-year-old’s good form has attracted the interest of Newcastle, who have opened negotiations over a £12million deal with his club, according to Argentine outlet Diario Popular.
The report suggests that the midfielder has a clause in his contract worth £7.8m, but an agreement between the club and player not to increase it means Newcastle will have to negotiate a higher fee.
This agreement has likely come into place as Perrone’s contract with Velez is set to expire at the end of 2023.

Despite only playing 33 games in the top division in Argentina, he is very highly rated, as Newcastle are believed to be willing to match the £12m demands.

And Toon fans will be hoping any new signings can help maintain their Champions League push. More

Ajax reveal why they refused to sell Lisandro Martinez to Arsenal before approving Man Utd transfer

AJAX chief Edwin van der Sar has explained why he refused to sell Lisandro Martinez to Arsenal – only to then do a deal with Manchester United.Martinez, 24, has been a sure-fire hit at Old Trafford following his £57million move from the Dutch capital.

Former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag made it clear he wanted to raid his old side for the Argentina centre-back.
However, he almost missed out after rivals Arsenal came steaming in with a tempting offer.
Fortunately for Ten Hag, Ajax were in no mood to strike a deal with the Gunners.
And shortly after, United had a bid accepted to make Martinez a new Red Devil.

He has since become a fan favourite at Old Trafford with some inspired performances.
But Arsenal won’t mind too much, with Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba forming a fine partnership for the title chasers.
Ajax transfer guru Van der Sar has now explained why he rejected Arsenal’s bid, claiming it was too low to bother negotiating over.
Meanwhile, former side United were willing to pay over the odds to get a deal done, and Ajax decided it was in their best interests to accept.

Van der Sar told the Athletic: “Arsenal came earlier for Lisandro, but it was an amount where we said, ‘Thank you very much for the offer, but we’d rather keep the player than start negotiating’.
“With United, it was a little bit different. Over the years we have had a few conversations: Daley Blind, Donny van de Beek. My job is making sure I make the best decisions for Ajax.”
Martinez wasn’t the only Ajax player Ten Hag ended up signing, with Brazilian winger Antony joining for £85m late in the window.

And Van der Sar again admits he only did business with United as the transfer fee was too good to turn down.
He added: “They’re good players. Erik knew them, they fit with his playing style. He wanted the players, we didn’t want to lose them so… you put a high price on them.
“When you want a player, you probably pay a little bit more. For me, it was a fair negotiation with Richard and John Murtough, and that was it.
“Managers like the players they work with, the type of football Erik wanted to play, and with Martinez there he has shown his worth now.

“[Antony is] still young, still potential. We would have liked to keep him here one year longer – there was not a dire need to sell him, we had money in the bank.
“But the fee got so high. We challenged United to go as far as possible. They have a potential world star.” More

Hector Bellerin voted Barcelona’s WORST transfer by fans following summer move from Arsenal

HECTOR BELLERIN has been named Barcelona’s worst transfer by fans after his summer switch from Arsenal. The former Gunner moved to the La Liga giants on a free transfer after his contract in North London was terminated.
Hector Bellerin has struggled to impress since joining BarcelonaCredit: AFP
Bellerin signed a one-year deal at the Nou Camp, but the return to his boyhood club has not gone as successfully as he would have hoped for.
Having only made five appearances for Barcelona, three of which were starts, he has failed to make the right-back spot his own.
Since mid-September, Bellerin has only managed 20 minutes of playing time due to injury and has been on the bench for the club’s last four matches.
To make matters worse for the defender, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo asked fans to rate Barcelona’s summer business out of ten, a test that he has not done well in.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
While former Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski scored an impressive 9.32 out of 10, Bellerin was only awarded a shocking 4.42 rating.
Lewandowski was the clear favourite to get the highest approval rating as he has scored 18 goals in his first 19 appearances for the club.
But other players such as Chelsea transfer target Jules Kounde scored an impressive 7.82.
Bellerin is closer to former AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie who, after 13 appearances in all competitions and one goal, was rated at 5.38.

Bellerin was hopeful of extending his stay with the Blaugrana as he told Radio Catalunya earlier this month: “I want to sign a new deal as I want to stay here at Barca, I’m really happy.”
But that might be an unfulfilled wish of the Spaniard, as there are already reports surfacing that Barcelona have decided not to renew his deal, according to AS. More
