Fulham will pay an initial fee of around £12.5million which will quickly rise to £14million once Castagne has played an agreed number of games this season.
That could rise to £15million if Castagne is a success and holds down a place in Silva’s side.
The attacking right-back has yet to make an appearance for the Foxes under their new boss Enzo Maresca, who has played Ricardo Pereira instead.
However Castagne will add a wealth of experience to Fulham after making more than 100 appearances for Leicester City under Brendan Rodgers, scoring five goals in 112 matches, including one on his debut in 2020.

He was a provider during his time at the King Power too with seven Premier League assists to his name.
Castagne becomes the Fulham’s fourth signings of the summer as they look to improve on last season’s 10th place finish.
They have already welcomed the arrivals of Calvin Bassey, Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore.
They’ve also seen one significant exit with star man Aleksandar Mitrovic leaving the club for Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal in a £43million deal.

Castagne will be hoping he can make an instant impact in West London with the Cottagers facing the tough challenge of a trip to Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend.
But they’ll be buoyed by their performance to get a 2-2 draw away from home against Arsenal on Saturday. More

Arsenal player ratings: Awkward Kai Havertz hooked early but Fabio Vieira shines as super sub against Fulham

ARSENAL encountered their first draw of the season in a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Emirates. The Gunners were behind within the first minute after a howler from goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Odegaard had the ball in the back of the net just before half-time, but the goal was disallowed for offside against Havertz in the build-up.
Arsenal’s were awarded a 66th minute penalty after substitute Fabio Vieira was taken down by a reckless challenge from Kenny Tete.
Striker Eddie Nketiah then controversially fired the home side ahead just six minutes later.
But ten-man Fulham equalised in the 87th minute when João Palhinha finished from close range.

Arsenal fans celebrate an entire transfer window without Draxler transfer link as rivals open talks to sign him instead

ARSENAL fans are celebrating that the club are NOT being linked with Julian Draxler this time round. This comes as the Gunners have reportedly approached the 29-year-old German midfielder in every window since 2017.
Draxler has been repeatedly linked with Arsenal in every recent transfer windowCredit: EPA
Julian Draxler and Arsenal has been a transfer rumour for what feels like an eternity.
After impressing at Schalke 04, he was linked with a move in every window under former boss Arsene Wenger.
And the connection continued under Wenger’s successors Unai Emery and Mikel Arteta.
Despite the Arsenal interest, Draxler instead chose to stick with Paris Saint-Germain.

And eagle-eyed Arsenal fans are thrilled that the links have finally ceased during this window.
One Arsenal fan account wrote: “Arsenal are about to go through an entire transfer window without getting linked to Julian Draxler and Wilfred Zaha. We really have grown 😂”.
Another added: “This is evidence that we’re moving onto greater things 😂”.

And according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Crystal Palace have made contact with the Ligue 1 champions over a move for Draxler.
The German international – who has just one year remaining on his contract – is interested in the idea of a move to London.
The transfer would bring Palace some necessary midfield reinforcement, as some key players being linked elsewhere.

Leno will have to be at his best against his old team this weekendCredit: GETTY
    Arsenal v Fulham
Fans of the Cottagers will be concerned with what they’ve seen from their team so far this season.
They beat Everton on the opening weekend but were fully indebted to Bernd Leno’s NINE saves.
Last Saturday, Brentford strolled to a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage and the xG statistics suggest the winning margin should have been even greater.
    Most read in Dream Team
Given that Fulham have allowed their opponents 36 shots across their first two outings, it seems likely the Gunners will have their wicked way with Marco Silva’s men in north London.
2-0 is the most common prediction at this stage but we feel that’s conservative.
    Our Prediction: 4-0 to Arsenal
Erik ten Hag will demand a response from his side after defeat to SpursCredit: EPA
    Manchester United v Nottingham Forest
Steve Cooper’s side have been abysmal away from home since promotion to the top flight, having earned just eight points on the road in just over a year.
Ordinarily, the Red Devils would feel confident of big win but they’ve looked out of sorts at the start of the campaign.
Victory over Wolves was partially soured by the fact they were outplayed and defeat to Tottenham has left Erik ten Hag with a few problems to address.
However, the underlying numbers suggest Man United have done relatively well in terms of chance creation and just a slight improvement in the finishing department would yield positive results.
Our Prediction: 2-1 to Manchester United
Top of the league!Credit: DREAM TEAM
    Brighton v West Ham
The Seagulls couldn’t make it a hat-trick of 4-1 victories, could they?
We’re inclined to give the Hammers more credit after their spirited win over Chelsea on Sunday but a trip to the Amex is a daunting prospect these days.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have been in a league of their own this term when it comes to attacking impotence and with Nayef Aguerd suspended it will be very difficult for the visitors to hold firm.
Brighton’s have generated more xG from open play than any other club in the league after two Matchweeks – and it’s not even close.
    Our Prediction: 3-1 to Brighton
How many goals will Erling Haaland score at Bramall Lane?Credit: GETTY
    Sheffield United v Manchester City
Like Fulham v Arsenal, this match-up screams cricket score on paper.
The Blades allowed Forest 16 shots and they let Crystal Palace have 24 shots the week previous.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side will have to tighten up significantly if they are to avoid a mauling at the hands of Erling Haaland and company.
In contrast, the treble-winners are the only team yet to concede a goal in the Premier League this season.
The three most-common predictions all revolve around a clean sheet for the champions.
Our Prediction: 5-0 to Manchester City
Eddie Howe will be glad to be back in action at St James’ ParkCredit: REX
    Newcastle v Liverpool
This is by far the most competitive Score Predictor fixture this Matchweek.
Eddie Howe’s men ran riot against Aston Villa but were totally negated by Man City while the Reds bagged an expected win at home Bournemouth following their entertaining draw at Stamford Bridge.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops continue to look ultra threatening in attack but vulnerable in defence – an accurate description of Newcastle at the back end of last season as well.
The Magpies have home advantage and are well equipped to exploit the flaws in Liverpool’s system but it feels counterintuative to go against a team that includes Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah.
2-2 is the most-popular guess among all Score Predictor players at the time of writing and we’re inclined to agree.
    Our Prediction: 2-2 draw

Gabriel Jesus spotted back in Arsenal training in huge injury boost ahead of Fulham and Man Utd clashes

GABRIEL JESUS has been spotted in Arsenal training in a major boost ahead of the club’s clashes with Fulham and Manchester United. The striker has missed Arsenal’s opening games after suffering a knee injury in pre-season.
Gabriel Jesus has returned to Arsenal training in major boost for ArsenalCredit: Getty

The forward underwent minor surgery to remove “debris” in his knee ahead of the campaign.
Manager Mikel Arteta did not put a strict time frame on Jesus’ return but his return to the team has likely come earlier than expected and will be a huge boost ahead of the international break.
Eddie Nketiah has done well in his absence, registering a goal and an assist.
The striker was seen training as part of the main group on social media, with the team engaging in some warm-up runs.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
The training video did not show any work the players did with the football, so it remains to be seen as to whether Jesus will take part in full training with the squad.
So whether Arteta opts to throw Jesus straight back into the starting XI against Fulham on Saturday remains to be seen.
Arsenal fans on Twitter were delighted to see their number nine involved with the squad again, with one tweeting: “The league is not ready.”
    Another wrote: “What a miracle!”

A third posted: “Banger of a player….we are winning the league.”
While a fourth wrote “Magic back at the Emirates,” alongside a wand and wizard hat emoji.
Jesus was a key part of Arsenal’s title challenge last season, registering 11 goals and seven assists in 26 league games.
An injury towards the end of the campaign saw the striker drop out of the team and Nketiah deputise as he has done this season.

Jesus’ injury however did coincide with Arsenal’s loss of form which ultimately saw them miss out on the title to Manchester City.
Arteta has been impressed with Nketiah so far this season after dropping him for the Community Shield final.
He said after Nketiah scored in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest: “He was a player who was so disappointed not to play the final in the absence of Gabi.
“What he did was he came on the field in the final and changed the game. That’s number one. The second one was the way he was training this week was saying ‘gaffer, if you’re not playing me you are blind’.
“A lot of players come and say ‘oh why am I not playing’ and you have to try to explain, other players come and say ‘these are the reasons why I deserve to play’. This is exactly what Eddie does.”

Nketiah then won the penalty which Martin Odegaard converted to claim all three points against Palace in a 1-0 victory on Monday evening. More
