Arsenal and Manchester City are among those linked with Havertz.
But according to Fabrizio Romano, the forward has given the “green light” for Arsenal to bid for him.
Chelsea bought Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 for £75million in what was a then-club record deal.
And he made himself a hero amongst fans after scoring the winning goal in the 2021 Champions League final against City.

But Havertz has endured inconsistent form since, struggling to find his favoured role within the starting 11.
He ended last season as Chelsea’s joint top scorer with Raheem Sterling, managing just nine in all competitions.
The Blues have spent over £600MILLION under billionaire American owner Todd Boehly.
But it has left them needing to shift players to both ease space in the squad and balance the books.

Incoming manager Mauricio Pochettino looks set to prioritise signing a striker in the summer sales.
But it leaves Havertz facing the boot with Real Madrid the first to register an interest in the wantaway attacker.

Although the Spanish giants were unwilling to match Chelsea’s £75m asking price, since cooling their interest.
Personal terms do not appear to be an issue with Arsenal but like Real, the Gunners will not meet Chelsea’s demands.
So the Blues board will need to be flexible with their negotiations, while Bayern Munich are yet to enter the race.

But now Arsenal look set to shift their focus to West Ham captain Rice, with whom they have now launched a bid for.
According to The Times, the Gunners have withdrawn from the race to sign Caicedo, 21, who is now odds on to join Chelsea instead.
The Blues were also amongst those interested in the Ecuadorian last season and now they are on the verge of losing N’Golo Kante.

So incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino will look to add a new midfielder to partner club-record signing Enzo Fernandez.
Meanwhile Arsenal’s decision to drop their interest in Caicedo to favour talks with Rice could prove risky.

The club are already believed to have had an offer of £90million plus add ons rejected by the Hammers, who rate Rice at £110m.
But now Manchester City have entered the race, with the Premier League champions considering a move for the England international.

The Guardian has reported City are set to “blow Arsenal out of the water” when they submit their offer for Rice, 24.
West Ham owner David Sullivan said after the club’s Europa Conference League final victory last week that Rice was free to leave the club.
The player has a year left on his current deal in East London, with an option to extend that to 2025.
But Rice has rejected several offers to extend it over the past 18 months, including a package of £200k-a-week.

The report suggests that the club are willing to release Havertz early and have asked for a £70m fee.
Chelsea bought Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 for £75m and he has since gone on to score many impressive goals for the club including the winner for their 2021 Champions League triumph.
They report also says The Blues are lining up their own replacements for Havertz by targeting midfielders such as Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga.
Havertz has only only 19 goals in 91 appearances for Chelsea, prompting Arsenal fans to feel confused at Michel Arteta’s decision to pursue the player.

It is reported however that Arteta wishes to use Havertz as an attacking midfielder rather than a No 9.
Arsenal are also looking to sign Declan Rice for the upcoming 2023 season – after the club’s fixtures were announced earlier today.
However The Gunners face competition for Havertz as Manchester City are also looking to move for the 23-year-old.
Reports indicate Man City are looking to clear out their team in this summer’s transfer window but remain dependent on where midfielders Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva end up before bidding.

Arsenal set to seal £110MILLION Declan Rice transfer as Chelsea, Man Utd and Bayern fall out of running for West Ham ace

WEST HAM are resigned to the fact that Declan Rice has set his heart on a move to Arsenal. And plans to start a bidding war with Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are likely to be shelved by the Europa Conference League winners.

Hammers boss David Moyes is understood to prefer a deal with Chelsea involving Conor Gallagher in part-exchange.
But Rice has made it clear that he is not interested in a return to the club who released him at the age of 14.
German champions Bayern have already dropped their pursuit of the 24-year-old England star after being told Rice wants to remain in the Premier League.
And Manchester United are reluctant to spend huge money on another holding midfielder after buying £60million Casemiro last summer.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
That has left the way clear for Arsenal to complete their priority signing of the summer and negotiations with West Ham are now at an advanced stage.
The Gunners are looking to pay a club record £90m for Rice, while the Hammers value him at £110m.
It is expected that the two clubs will agree on a £100m compromise, with the potential for a further £10m in bonus payments and add-ons.
No formal bid has yet been made by Arsenal, who were unhappy at the way their January moves for Mykhailo Mudryk and Moises Caicedo played out when a series of offers were publicly rejected.

They prefer to remain in confidential talks with West Ham until a fee and terms of payment can be agreed and are confident of securing the player’s signature in the next few weeks.
Rice is on England duty but will be on standby to confirm personal terms and undergo a medical from next week.
He believes he fits perfectly into Mikel Arteta’s policy of building a team around hungry young players who can grow together for the next five or six years.
And the opportunity to play Champions League football is another huge incentive for the midfielder, who has been told he can leave West Ham after rejecting a new £200,000-a-week contract. More

Chelsea fans praise Mykhailo Mudryk with £88m transfer flop ready to make drastic career decision

CHELSEA fans have praised £88million transfer-flop Mykhailo Mudryk for his decision to play for Ukraine’s Under-21 side this summer. The Blues won the race to sign the highly-rated youngster in January despite long-term interest in him from rivals’ Arsenal.
Mudryk largely found himself as a substitute last seasonCredit: Getty
His time in West London has not gone to plan however, with the winger not registering a goal in his 15 Premier League appearances and contributing just two assists.
The Telegraph report that Mudryk will make himself available for his country’s U21s European Championship side this summer in a bid to rediscover his form – which has impressed incoming manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Mudryk is currently with the Ukraine senior squad as they prepare for their own European Championship qualifiers against North Macedonia on Friday night and against Malta next week.
He started for Ukraine in their friendly against Germany yesterday which ended in a 3-3 draw.
    READ MORE ON CHELSEA
Despite turning 22 in January, the winger is eligible to play for Ukraine in the U21 championship – which starts next Wednesday and is being held in Georgia and Romania – as he was 21 when the season started.
Chelsea will not stand in the winger’s way if he wants to play in the tournament given the limited minutes he has featured in since joining the club.

He completed just one 90 minute game in the league this season.
It is understood that Mudryk would like to maximise the minutes he plays this summer in a bid to find rhythm ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 season.

And Chelsea fans have reacted positively to the news that Mudryk will play for his U21s.
One fan said: “Mentality not to give up”
Another said: “Keep fighting young man, eventually it will pay off!”
While a third added: “Good lad. He needs to rebuild that confidence for sure”
Ukraine’s U21s find themselves in Group B for the tournament in Georgia and Romania – the group includes Spain and Croatia as well as co-hosts Romania.
If the winger is called up to the U21s he will no doubt be one of the star attractions at the tournament.
England are in Group C and will play rivals’ Germany as well as the Czech Republic and Israel.
A number of Premier League stars are part of England’s provisional squad, including: Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe, Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke, Levi Colwill and Lewis Hall as well as Tottenham’s Oliver Skipp.
England’s final squad will be announced tomorrow. More

William Saliba’s former boss reveals ‘issues’ between him and Mikel Arteta and star’s ‘doubts’ about Arsenal

The centre-back still struggled to meet expectations in north London in 2020 and underwent two more year-long loan stints to Nice and Marseille.
That experience proved to be critical for the France international as he quickly transformed into Arsenal’s rock in defence immediately after his return in June.
However, the 22-year-old couldn’t see this last year and thus had “doubts” about working with Arteta following a stunning stint with L’OM, where he enjoyed playing so much he considered staying.
That is according to Saliba’s former boss Philippe Guillemet, who is the former director of Saint-Etienne’s academy centre.
    Read More on Arsenal
Guillemet told The Athletic: “He loved Marseille. It was a fantastic year.
“Speaking to people close to him, he had doubts about Arsenal because there were some issues between him and the coach. Now he is happy in London.”
However, Saliba has settled very well at Arsenal as he has become a prolific figure under Arteta.
In fact, many argue the Gunners’ Premier League title charge came to an end when the defender got injured in March.

That is why Arsenal have prioritised a new contract for the Frenchman ahead of pre-season.
And the North Londoners have reportedly given in to Saliba’s demands to agree a new long-term deal.
In fact, Arteta made it absolutely clear that the player is central to all of his long-term plans and must be kept at any cost. More

And the Spaniard, 18, remains the Gunners’ top priority as they seek to bolster their options on the right side of their back line.
However, they are already lining up an alternative if a deal cannot be struck with Valladolid – with Borussia Dortmund in contention to hijack the deal.
According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Castagne is the back-up target if a Fresneda transfer falls through.
He claims talks have started between Arsenal and Leicester over a possible switch.

The reports also states that “things could move quickly” if Arteta’s men decide to bring in the Belgium international.
Castagne, 27, was a part of the Leicester side relegated down to the Championship on the final day of the Premier League season.

A 2-1 win over West Ham failed to keep them up as Everton beat Bournemouth 1-0 to clinch safety at the expense of Dean Smith’s men.
A host of Leicester players are now expected to depart the King Power Stadium following their drop down to the second tier.
