They have compared the amount the buying club paid to their market value at the time of the move.
Chelsea signed Brighton star Moises Caicedo for a staggering £115million as they smashed the British transfer record.
The Blues beat Liverpool to bring in the midfielder and handed him an eight-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
However, the study claims that Chelsea overpaid by a huge £50m.

They believe he is worth just £64m.
Saudi Arabian clubs also splashed the cash this summer, especially Al-Hilal, who overpaid by £26m each in the deals for Malcolm and Neymar.
The top ten additionally shows Manchester United overspent in their moves for Rasmus Hojlund and Andre Onana.
Erik ten Hag signed the Danish striker for a whopping £72m from Italian side Atalanta despite his inexperience, with him having only scored 27 goals in his club career.

    Numbers from Spin Genie UK
The statisticians think United paid £26m too much for Hojlund and £15m for goalkeeper Onana.
Arsenal bolstered their squad by spending over £210m to sign Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
The Gunners’ £105m deal for the ex-West Ham captain was £23m too high compared to his market value and Chelsea pocketed £17m more than they should have for Havertz.
RB Leipzig were the big winners of the summer window despite losing key players Dominik Szoboszlai and Josko Gvardiol to Liverpool and Man City respectively.
The German side received a combined £30m more than expected for the duo.
And another transfer that was overvalued saw Matheus Cunha making his initial loan move from Atletico Madrid to Wolves permanent. More

Arsenal £72m signing Nicolas Pepe warned he will NEVER play for Gunners again if he refuses to agree transfer

NICOLAS PEPE has been told to leave Arsenal while he still can or spend the rest of the season sitting on his hands. The 28-year-old Ivorian international has resisted all the club’s efforts to get rid of him without a lucrative pay-off.

But now he has just days to sort out a move before his last escape routes slam shut in his face.
Turkish title contenders Besiktas are still keen to sign Pepe despite being turned down by the player earlier in the summer.
And his representatives are also trying to raise a last-ditch offer from  Al Shabab before the Saudi transfer window closes on Thursday.
But Pepe still has ten months remaining on his £150,000-a-week Arsenal contract which will net him around £6.5million if he stays at the Emirates.

And he is reluctant to take a pay cut just so Arsenal can get him off their wage bill.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has already washed his hands of the player who cost what was then a club record £72million when he was signed from Lille by Unai Emery in 2019.

He has been ordered to train alone since returning from an unsuccessful loan spell at Nice and doesn’t even have a squad number after his number 19 shirt was handed to Leandro Trossard at the beginning of the year.
It has been made clear to him that he has no future at the club and will not play another game for them if he declines to leave.

His lack of activity has already cost him his place in the Ivory Coast squad for their forthcoming games against Lesotho and Mali.
And with his home country hosting the African Cup of Nations in January, Pepe knows his international career is in jeopardy unless he finds another club.
But Arsenal are still asking for a nominal transfer fee in the region of £4million and Besiktas want to sign him for nothing.
The Turkish transfer window closes on September 15 and it could be a case of which club blinks first.
That could all change if Al Shabab follow up their interest with a firm bid but Arsenal have not yet received any offers.

I’m an Arsenal U21 star who was making six figures as a 16 year old… but not from football

The ex-Tottenham schoolboy, now 18, devised a map for the popular video game during the coronavirus lockdown.
And it was so lucrative that the England Under-19 defender’s first tax bill was into SIX FIGURES!
It’s also estimated his map was used 250million times in one week.
And as the Londoner gets a royalty fee every time it’s played, that meant his nightly earnings peaked at 10,000 to 15,000 dollars (£8k to £12k).

In a video posted by 101GreatGoals, linking to UnderArmour, Walters said: “Obviously we weren’t allowed to leave our homes so I picked up a different hobby where everyone loves the game.
I think as a teenage boy I was playing Fortnite with my friends and they were talking to me about how they just wanted to play this game mode and how it hadn’t been made before.
“So I just decided, you know, I’ll make something for them to play.”
He added: “It was probably one of the first things that was made in lockdown.

The North Londoners’ captain Martin Odegaard equalised just a minute later and Mikel Arteta’s side sealed the win with two goals during stoppage time.
Arsenal’s £104million record signing Declan Rice scored his first goal in the sixth minute before Gabriel Jesus secured the three points five minutes later.

Of course, this song is now associated with a popular chant the fans sing to praise Rice.

Arsenal player ratings: Declan Rice shows why Gunners paid £105m but Kai Havertz has another shocker vs Man Utd

ARSENAL triumphed over Manchester United thanks to two late goals from Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus in what could be a huge victory in Arsenal’s title hunt. The tie very nearly looked to be lost for Arsenal before Alejandro Garacho’s late strike was ruled out for offside by VAR.

That kept the scores level at 1-1.
Arsenal then saw dramatic late strikes from Rice and Jesus to secure all three points.
Here is how Mark Irwin rated the Gunners…
    AARON RAMSDALE – 6
Beaten again by the first shot on target but couldn’t be blamed for this one. Important second-half save to deny Martial but he surely must have thought he was going to be busier than this. 6

    BEN WHITE – 6
Still scarred by the chasing he got from Marcus Rashford last season, he was guilty of standing too far off the United man and giving him too much time to pick his spot for the opening goal. Got forward well to support Saka.
    WILLIAM SALIBA – 7
Anthony Martial will be haunted by his fellow Frenchman in his dreams after this monstering. Saliba won their  battle all ends up and looks to be getting stronger with every game, although he still has an occasional mistake in him.
    GABRIEL MAGALHAES – 7
Finally back in the starting line-up due to Partey’s injury and clearly had a point to prove.  A powerhouse in the middle of the defence and absolutely relished his physical battle with Hojlund when the big Dane came on for a late cameo.

    OLEKSANDR ZINCHENKO – 6
Like Gabriel, this was his first start of the season and it didn’t take him long to get right back into the groove. So comfortable on the ball, he was always looking to join the midfield while still keeping a close eye on Anthony.

    MARTIN ODEGAARD – 8
The skipper led from the front to drag Arsenal back into the game with a perfectly placed equaliser from the edge of the box. Pressed like a mad thing to make sure United’s defence were never able to settle on the ball.
    DECLAN RICE – 9
Stepped up to show just why Arsenal have paid £105milion to get him in their team. Totally bossed the midfield and relished the responsibility of playing through the lines from deep. A Rolls-Royce of a performance, he took the roof off the Emirates with his stunning 96th minute winner.

    KAI HAVERTZ – 5
Arteta has urged the fans to show the £65million German some love but he’s not making it easy for them. Took a complete fresh air shot with the goal at his mercy and then gave the ball away in the build-up to United’s goal. Convinced he should have had a penalty when clipped by Wan-Bissaka and couldn’t believe it was overturned by VAR.
Kai Havertz struggled again and was subbed on 76 minsCredit: Richard Pelham / The Sun
    BUKAYO SAKA – 6
Tried his heart out but it just wasn’t happening for him against a solid United defence which was taking no prisoners. Being marked so closely is starting to take its toll.  Booked.
    EDDIE NKETIAH – 7
The England new boy kept his place in the side despite Gabriel Jesus being fit and available and gave his all to justify his selection. His hold-up play has really improved but he was never able to get a clear sight of goal all game.
    GABRIEL MARTINELLI – 8
Arsenal’s creator in chief, he was involved in all of his team’s best attacking moves.  Gave Wan-Bissaka a real run-around and provided the assist for Odegaard to come up with the instant response to falling behind in the first-half.
    SUBS
Gabriel Jesus (for Nketiah 76mins): Buried United on the break with a 100th minute goal to secure the points.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (for Zinchenko 76mins): On for the flagging Zinchenko and helped to shore things up at the back
Fabio Vieira (for Havertz 76mins): He changed the game when he came on against Fulham last week and did the same again to tee up Jesus.
Reiss Nelson (for Martinelli 89mins):  On too late to make an impact.

Jorginho (for Odegaard 98mins): On too late to make an impact.
