Arsenal blow as ‘Bayern Munich edge towards free Noussair Mazraoui transfer as Barcelona fail in pursuit of Ajax star’

ARSENAL have reportedly missed out on signing Ajax defender Noussair Mazraoui, according to reports.The Gunners were said to be keen on bringing the 24-year-old Moroccan right-back to North London as competition for first choice star Takehiro Tomiyasu.

But Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have stolen a march on the Premier League side for his signature.
Mazraoui, who has scored 10 goals and made nine assists in 135 games for the Dutch club, is available on a free transfer in the summer with his contract expiring.

Ex-Arsenal ace Leanne Sanderson told Sky Sports: “It’s really sad because Jordan has had her fair share of injuries.
“And she seems to pick them up as soon as there is a major tournament coming up.

The defender and Ramsdale gave a post-match interview to Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves, who noted that this was the former’s first Premier League goal since joining the North Londoners in 2016.
The goalkeeper then poked some fun on the 26-year-old by joking that it only took him six years and a new set of hair to break his duck.
Ramsdale said: “Only took six years and a new hairline.”
Holding took it on the chin as he chuckled and responded: “Come on, mate…”

That’s not the first time Ramsdale teases his fellow Arsenal ace for his hairdo on camera as he did the same thing a month ago during a FIFA 22 promotional interview.
The England international looked at the centre-back’s 77-rated card, which had a picture from his pre-hair transplant days.
And when Ramsdale noticed the difference between the photo on the card and Holding’s gorgeous set of hair now, he said: “The hair transplant’s done you wonders!”
Hair loss affected the former Bolton star’s self confidence and he opened up about his journey in October on World Mental Health Day.

ARSENAL have registered their interest in Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, reports suggest.That is according to Football Insider, who claim that the Gunners have set aside £45million to boost their attack and are looking to splash it all on Rashford in the summer.

But the former darling of the Emirates was adamant another top talent should get a mention.
“I don’t want to tell you about a player who I think is really good then put pressure on him and it doesn’t work out,” Wilshere told the Evening Standard.
“But there’s a few in the academy. The fans will watch the under-23’s and know about Charlie Patino, who got his chance.

It’s common practice now at London Colney to see Arsenal’s stars of tomorrow training with the first team and Mikel Arteta, a manager who is keen to promote from within.
