Man Utd and Arsenal transfer boost with Aurelien Tchouameni keen on Premier League switch from Monaco this summer

MONACO midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League.The 22-year-old has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs over the past year, including Chelsea and Real Madrid.

But Arsenal and Manchester United are said to have emerged as some of the frontrunners.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Tchouameni’s priority is to play in England.

The Gunners boss has grappled with problem players in the dressing room during his tenure and wanted the new goalkeeper to liven the squad up.

Ramsdale has been a revelation in North London this season but had plenty of doubters when he joined, having been relegated from the Premier League with Bournemouth and Sheffield United in the two previous seasons.
Ramsdale said: “There were definitely people saying: ‘Hold on a minute’.
“I’d just been relegated for the second time and £24million is a lot of money, especially for what was reported as a No2. It was getting some criticism.

“I waved at a Chelsea fan the other week, he was giving me all sorts all second half. We scored a penalty so I waved at him.
“The security guard said: ‘Why did you do that? That wasn’t necessary’.

McCabe hopes they can repeat their 2019 away win over Spurs, which had a record WSL crowd of 38,262.

ARSENAL and Tottenham fans have finally united – after discovering Mike Dean and Paul Tierney will officiate their top-four decider this month.The north London enemies square off on May 12 as they continue to battle for the final Champions League spot.

ARSENAL legend Patrick Vieira shared a hilarious story of him and legendary Manchester United rival Roy Keane going out for ice cream together.Vieira and Keane were such fierce foes during their playing days in the late 1990s and early 2000s that no one would ever even expect them to be in the same room together.

However, the two Premier League Hall of Famers have patched things up and learned to respect each other after hanging up their boots.
Vieira has admitted he now likes Keane “a lot” after working with him on TV and even thinks he is a “funny guy”.
In fact, the two football greats get along so well that they went out for ice cream together a while back.
And the former Arsenal captain revealed how shocked fans were to see those two hanging out together after their past animosity.

But the now Crystal Palace manager couldn’t help but tease his former nemesis a bit by saying he had to buy because the “better player never paid”.
Vieira told Sky Sports’ Saturday Social: “We were walking back to the hotel and went to an ice cream shop, some fans saw and couldn’t believe it was Roy and myself walking around eating ice cream together.
“He was the one who paid, the better player never paid so he was the one who had to pay for the ice cream.”
Keane recently echoed Vieira’s statements as he as well has “huge respect” for the Arsenal hero.

Back in September, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta promoted two youth stars to train with the first team.

This campaign he has shown he has outgrown the U18s with some blistering displays.
In the U18 Premier League, he has 17 goals in as many games – registering six assists in the process.
He scored a hat-trick against Norwich back in October, and was the hero against North London rivals in Tottenham by netting twice.
And when the young Gunners were missing Charlie Patino, Omari Hutchinson, and Mika Biereth, Edwards entered the fray at U23 level.
He wasn’t overawed either. The striker scored an equaliser to earn the Gunners a draw against a then-table topping Hammers.

Under the guidance of manager of the Arsenal Academy Per Mertesacker, Edwards is thriving.
Edwards revealed in the Arsenal programme: “Getting advice from someone like Per who’s played on the biggest stages and had an incredibly successful career means a lot to me – and I want to take everything he says on board.

“He’s created such a positive and welcoming environment in the academy and I’ve got to thank him and everyone else for that, because I love every moment I spend learning and training here.”
With that in mind, it’s no wonder he’s happy to sign on with the club.
And perhaps it won’t be long before he’s starring alongside Hale End graduates Saka and Smith Rowe in the first team. More
