PLAY Dream Team’s Euros Bracket Challenge ahead of this summer’s mouthwatering international tournament and you could win an iPhone 15 Pro Max.Much like our classic fantasy game and Score Predictor, our new game is also free to play via Dream Team’s app or website.CLICK HERE TO PLAY EUROS BRACKET CHALLENGE NOW – FREE TO PLAY, IPHONE 15 PRO MAX UP FOR GRABS!Play now!Credit: Dream TeamIt couldn’t be easier to play, simply predict the standings for the group stages and knockout fixtures from the round of 16 to the all-important final of Euro 2024.You’ll earn points for accurate predictions and if you rack up more than any other user, you’ll land the iPhone 15 Pro Max* (worth £1,199). You can alter your predictions as many times as you wish from now until the tournament gets underway at 8pm on Friday 14th June so there’s no harm submitting an early first draft and tinkering later.Competing for the top prize is only half the fun, of course. We encourage you to compete in Mini Leagues against your mates, colleagues, family members, or whoever – flexing your football knowledge and claiming bragging rights makes for a satisfying prize in itself. When playing the game, you will first be invited to forecast the group standings. For example, Group A contains Germany, Switzerland, Hungary and Scotland so you would have to put these four teams in the order you think they will finish:
    1st Germany
    2nd Scotland
    3rd Hungary
    4th Switzerland
You earn five points for each correct prediction and an additional three points if you get the entire group spot on.Using our above example, if Germany finish top of Group A and Switzerland finish bottom but Hungary edge out Scotland to claim second then this set of predictions would earn ten points (five each for Germany and Switzerland being correct). However, if the Tartan Army finish as runners-up behind Germany ahead of Hungary, this set of predictions would be worth a whopping 23 points (five for each of the four correct predictions plus three more for a perfect group). How will the Euros play out this summer?Credit: AFPHere’s a reminder of the six groups as it stands.GROUP A
    Germany
    Switzerland
    Scotland
    Hungary
    GROUP B
    Spain
    Croatia

    Belgium
    Slovakia
    Romania
    Ukraine or Iceland
    GROUP F
    Portugal
    Turkey
    Czechia
    Georgia or Greece
Group C looks particularly difficult to predict with Italy, Spain and Croatia all vying for top spot while Group F has a pleasing nostalgic feel to it.Once you’ve submitted your group stage predictions, you’ll be invited to select the best four of the six third-place finishers as those teams will also make it to the round of 16 alongside the six group winners and six runners-up in Euro 2024.The four best third-place finishers are determined primarily by points, then by goal difference, goals scored, most wins, disciplinary record and finally, if required, European qualifiers overall ranking. Will England succeed or fall short again?Credit: GettyAfter that, it’s time to predict the knockout stages from the round of 16 all the the way to the final. For example, if you back England to finish top of Group C and Turkey to finish third in Group F as one of the four best third-place finishers, then you’re looking at England vs Turkey in the round of 16.Knockout Round scoring:
Correct round of 16 winner = 2 points
    Correct quarter-final winner = 4 points
    Correct semi-final winner = 8 points
Correct tournament winner = 16 points
The essence of the game is simple: the closer you get to accurately predicting how the Euros will play out, the more points you’ll earn. You’ll automatically appear on our overall leaderboard which will ultimately determine the winner of the iPhone 15 Pro Max but don’t forget to set up a Mini League just for you and your mates.Get involved now!CLICK HERE TO PLAY EUROS BRACKET CHALLENGE NOW – FREE TO PLAY, IPHONE 15 PRO MAX UP FOR GRABS!*Top prize paid as cash alternative if won outside UK & IrelandtalkSPORT BET Welcome offer

And they have a deal in place to show the sport until 2029.
However, Business F1 magazine are now reporting Apple are weighing up the possibility of submitting a bid to become the exclusive streaming rights holders.
A £1.6bn offer would double the amount the F1 receive for their global TV rights.
It would likely sit “alongside MLS and Apple TV+ in the Apple TV app” as a standalone subscription service.

The idea comes following the success of the MLS Season Pass – which would be replicated for F1.

But in bizarre scenes, the South Korean star appeared to say to the supporter he was not able to hold her mobile phone.
Son apologetically put his two hands together and explained that she has to take the snap rather than him.
However, in a later clip at the same location, the attacker is seen holding another fan’s phone without any issues as he took the photo of them together.
Eagle-eyed viewers believe they have figured out the unique reason for the different behaviour.

Son is a brand ambassador for Samsung and signed a contract to be a partner of the tech giants earlier this summer.
Fans have noticed that the first woman, who saw her phone rejected by Son, had an iPhone but the second had a Samsung.
It led to many being convinced that he is not allowed to be seen holding Apple products due to his deal with their rival company.
Some were baffled by the strict rules, one said: “This is just weird and unnecessary.”

Sky Sports and BT Sport face LOSING Premier League TV rights as streaming giants consider bid

APPLE are ready to make a move for Premier League TV rights when bidding for the next packages begin, according to reports.Their interest could provide a huge threat to Sky Sports’ and BT Sport’s Prem deals.

Apple TV have already dipped their toe into the football market.
They produced a four-part original documentary about the Super League, which released earlier this year.
While they have also begun a ten-year contract to broadcast MLS globally worth a staggering £200million-a-season.
The current rights packages owned by Sky Sports, BT Sport and Amazon Prime Video will expire at the end of the 2024-25 season.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
SunSports understands the bidding process will begin towards the end of this year.
And the new rights will take effect during the start of the 2025-26 Premier League season.
Sky Sports show around 140 Prem matches per season, with BT Sport owning rights to 50 and Amazon Prime Video broadcasting two complete game weeks, including the Boxing Day fixtures.
American owners of Premier League clubs, including Chelsea’s Todd Boehly, believe that the £5.1bn over three years earned for global TV rights is less than market value.
    Most read in Football
Last year Boehly admitted that he hopes the Prem can “learn from US sports” when it comes to earning more revenue – even introducing the idea of an All-Star game, like those seen across the pond.
He said: “Ultimately I hope the Premier League takes a little bit of a lesson from American sports.

“And really starts to figure out, why don’t we do a tournament with the bottom four sports teams, why isn’t there an All-Star game?
“People are talking about more money for the pyramid; in the MLB All-Star game this year we made $200m (£160m) from a Monday and a Tuesday.
“So we’re thinking we could do a North versus South All-Star game for the Premier League, for whatever the pyramid needed quite easily.”
Sky Sports have owned the bulk of Prem TV rights since the league’s launch in 1992 – but now find their dominance under severe threat.
They have revolutionised coverage in the UK, becoming a huge part of households around the country.
BT Sport, meanwhile, will be renamed TNT Sports following a merger with Warner Bros Discovery [WBD].

Managing director of WBD Sports Europe, Andrew Georgiou, said: “On the next rights auction this is a premium service and our intention is to remain a premium service.
“Our approach to any rights auction is to make sure we maintain that position in the market.”

However, that three-year package expires in 2025.
That means that the tender process for the next set of rights is due to begin later this year.
Now the Daily Mail states that a new rival is preparing a bid.
And they claim that Apple TV’s offer could “transform the way” that the Premier League is broadcast on these shores.
    READ MORE ON FOOTBALL
The “tech giant are looking to increase their live football coverage”.
They have already secured a ten-year contract, which begins in February, to broadcast Major League Soccer from the USA.
Apple TV have also dabbled previously with the Premier League when making their recent The War for Football documentary about the failed European Super League breakaway.
A number of English clubs, such as Chelsea’s Todd Boehly, are now owned by Americans.

And they are certain that the current £5.1billion over three years for the current rights are undervalued.

They are hoping that the interest of US tech companies will now “drive up the price” of the next rights deal.
Sky Sports have dominated Premier League coverage since gaining exclusive rights to screen the competition when it was formed in 1992.
But a huge offer from Apple TV, who have the financial muscle to challenge them, would provide a huge threat to their stranglehold on the broadcasting of the top-flight. More

David Beckham WILL make Man Utd takeover bid with consortium, confirms pal Rio Ferdinand

Rumours regarding who might buy the Red Devils have been swirling since the announcement last week, with ex-England captain Beckham among the names earmarked.
And Ferdinand appears to have confirmed that Becks will make an offer to buy the club where he spent the best part of a decade of his senior career.
On his FIVE podcast, Ferdinand was asked about a potential takeover from the 47-year-old, to which he said: “Becks will come with a consortium.
“I saw Becks last night at the game. I went to the England game and we were sat next to each other. He smelt beautiful, looked beautiful. He looked a million dollars, as he normally does.

“He didn’t look 10 billon dollars’ worth (the amount Utd could cost). But when you mention someone like Becks’ name, he’s obviously a part-owner of Inter Miami, but he doesn’t come (alone).
“It’s not his money. It’s not him in terms of putting his hand in his pocket.
“He comes with a consortium. He comes with people who have the deep pockets who have the ability to go and execute on a deal like that.
“So that’s the way he’ll be approaching it, and rightly so. I just think it’s going to come down to a number. If you’ve got the number, and you can produce, that’s what it’s going to be about.”

With Beckham already a major name in MLS franchise Inter Miami, he could now set his sights on being involved with a new Man Utd ownership hierarchy.
Britain’s richest man and Utd fan Sir Jim Ratcliffe has also been tipped to return with an offer after his interest was rebuked by the Glazers earlier this year.
Tech giants Apple have been linked with an approach as well, with reports indicating they are prepared to offer a sum worth almost £6BILLION to acquire them.
However, a deal to buy United could end up reaching an eye-watering £9bn.
The announcement of a potential sale saw Utd’s value skyrocket by £336m. More
