      Thomas Tuchel loves Amazon’s All or Nothing docs and is ‘open’ to Chelsea following Arsenal, Spurs and Man City

      When it was put to Tuchel that a behind-the-scenes series about Chelsea’s turbulent 2021-22 campaign would have been TV gold, the Blues boss said with a rueful laugh: “Yes, it would have been.
      “We had these discussions many times. They started even in Dortmund and, as you can imagine, in Paris Saint-Germain we had these discussions pretty often.
      “Here, as you know, I enjoy it so much that it’s purely about football in this building and in this club. It is still one of the biggest joys and why I love it so much to be here.
      “To be honest, I watch the football documentaries also because I am curious and I want to see it.

      “I 100 per cent would have watched it as a kid over and over again. But at the same time, I’m not so sure you see everything.
      “Maybe it’s new times and maybe at some point we will have to be open to it. I’m quite happy I was not asked the question so far — but let’s see, we are always open to new ideas.”
      When Tuchel WAS asked the killer question about whether Chelsea could be contenders for the Premier League title without further signings, he was not exactly talking up his club’s credentials.
      Ahead of hosting rivals Tottenham this afternoon, the Blues boss said: “I don’t want to limit our ambitions artificially at the beginning of August.

      “And I don’t want to put pressure on us by putting out any number that we want to reach.
      “If you ask me if I feel confident enough that we can win the next match then, yes, I believe we can.
      “So we’ll prepare to beat Tottenham, which is a big ask at the moment, and which is a big match for us and a tough opponent.
      “And then we must go step by step, and this is a luxury that we deserve at the moment. We are in a bit of a delay. This is nobody’s fault. It’s the reality.”
      Chelsea’s new regime, fronted by chairman Todd Boehly has already spent some £165million on new players this summer.
      But it may not be enough to close the gap on champions Manchester City and Liverpool.
      Tuchel said: “I gave him a list and it would have been possible to fight straight for the title — but that was a pretty unrealistic list.
      “We can play fantasy football! But in the end we need to pay for it, we need to convince players and other clubs to give us their very best players — it’s simply not happening.
      “But I’m super happy with what we have succeeded with so far.
      “Maybe it is finished and we don’t do anything else and we fight with this squad.
      “If it’s not finished, we try to implement further quality and with this further quality, of course, the ambition level rises.” More

      Newcastle to be next for All or Nothing documentary with Amazon Prime for fly-on-the-wall series after Saudi takeover

      NEWCASTLE UNITED are in line to be the next Premier League club to feature in Amazon’s All or Nothing series.The streaming powerhouse has documented the Magpies’ league rivals Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal in recent seasons.

      And they’re looking to strike a deal to go behind the scenes at St James’ Park.
      That’s according to The Daily Mail, who claim Amazon want to film the newly-rich North East club for the duration of the 2023/24 season.
      The season would hit the silver screen in the summer of 2024 and could provide a unique insight into life at the club since the Saudi-led takeover last October.
      Amazon chiefs, however, will face an uphill battle to convince the Newcastle brass to give them all access as they’ve already turned down multiple offers from production companies.

      But they could very well change their mind if they receive a suitable offer from the broadcaster – who would provide them with a huge platform to expand as a global brand.
      The latest season of All or Nothing is focused on Arsenal – with episodes on the North Londoners’ 2021/22 campaign being released intermittently.
      And Gunners defender Gabriel Magalhaes believes the show has given an accurate depiction of life at the Emirates.
      In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the Brazilian said of the documentary: “I’ve seen it.

      Holding, 26, sings “do do do do do” while Tierney uses a trolley to make the same beat as the drummer at Parkhead.
      The tune comes from the song Finder by German house DJ Ninetoes which was an Ibiza hit in 2013.
      The duo also perform a bizarre wiggling dance as they are served food at the training ground cafeteria.

      It came after the Gunners has earned an away draw last season at Liverpool despite having a man sent off.
      Boyhood Hoops fan Tierney was a fans favourite at Celtic Park.
      He would start songs in front of the Green Brigade with a megaphone after victories.
      We told how Tierney had earlier opened up on the docuseries at his pain at losing pals to suicide and his own mental health struggles since moving to London.

      “Really low point, homesickness was terrible to start with.
      “Outside training you had a lot of time to think. I’m not saying I was ever in a bad, bad place where I was suicidal.
      “But my friends have been. Two or three of them have committed suicide, lost their life.
      “You’re with these people and you don’t know a thing. They’ve not spoke.“So I feel a certain responsibility to try and help as much as I can because I kind of know how it feels to be in a certain place.”

      ARSENAL fans have declared Aaron Ramsdale’s dad the star of the All or Nothing documentary. The Amazon Prime series followed the Gunners’ struggles and successes over the course of last season – but it’s the father of their No1 goalkeeper who has proven to be the breakout star.

      While supporters have enjoyed seeing more of Arteta’s unique management techniques, the cameo appearances of Nick Ramsdale have also caught attention.
      He can first be seen grabbing Arsenal’s matchday programme while holding a drink and saying excitedly: “He’s on the front of the programme!”
      Later, as Arsenal got their first win of last season over Norwich, the dad can be seen squirming as he watches his son in goal.
      As Ramsdale attempts to evade Teemu Pukki and play it out from the back, Nick said: “F***ing hell, Aaron.”

      He can then be seen leaving his seat as he says in exasperation as he says: “F***ing nothing to do with my f***ing heart!”
      Ramsdale Senior can then be seen shouting more expletives as he watches Arsenal miss chances, before they finally put the Canaries to bed.
      Even as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the opening goal, it appears Ramsdale’s father was too stressed to celebrate, and instead shares a low-energy high-five with his wife.
      But he finds his voice at the full time whistle and can be seen cheering on his son.

      The goalkeeper, who signed for Arsenal a year ago, revealed in interviews how his dad hates watching him play from the back as it will “give him a heart attack”.
      Nick has left Arsenal fans in stitches on Twitter.
      One said: “Clearly the real star of #AllorNothing is Aaron Ramsdale’s dad.”
      Another tweeted: “Ramsdale’s parents have barely missed a game in his career, his dad came to his Arsenal debut and he had to stop watching because we were doing his heart in, what watching the Arsenal can do to you.”
      Another fan watching the fly-on-the-wall doc said: “Just finished the first episode and if the rest of the series doesn’t just follow Ramsdale’s dad around, I don’t think I’m interested.”
      One Arsenal fan added: “Everyone deserves a dad like Ramsdale’s.”
      The first batch of three episodes follow the club as they experience their disastrous start to last season.

      It was chief photographer and lifelong fan Stuart MacFarlane who delivered the team talk for the North London derby against Tottenham…and the Gunners went on to win 3-1.
      His inspirational talk was filmed by Amazon Prime cameras and is part of the upcoming All Or Nothing series.
      Arteta picked up MacFarlane’s camera as he told the squad: “This guy, for the last 30 years has captured emotions, emotions and teams.
      “I want you to hear from him, how he feels about you. And about our club.”

      Who is Stuart MacFarlane and how long has he worked for Arsenal?
      MacFarlane has been snapping Arsenal since 1991, and become a full-time staff photographer with the club in 2001.
      He also supplied pictures for the ‘Invincibles’ book on Arsene Wenger released in 2014.
      MacFarlane spoke of his highs and lows covering the Gunners: “The highs and lows are all linked to the success for the football club.
      “So winning the league in 2002 and 2004, the FA Cup in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2014 and 2015 were brilliant times.
      “And the only real low is losing in the final of the Champions League in 2006.”

      Ahead of the release Amazon Prime shared a clip of Arteta preparing his side for their daunting trip to Anfield last season.
      Arteta spoke about how the only time he was ever overwhelmed on the pitch in his career was when he played in a match at Liverpool.
      So in a crude attempt to replicate the atmosphere at the stadium and prepare his players for the challenge, Arteta instructed his staff to bring huge speakers out onto the training pitch.
      The boss told his players: “Boys, mentally we start to play the game now. We are at Anfield. Let’s go.”

      He then proceeded to blast ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ through them as his players trained.
      Arteta explained to his staff: “One of my crazy ideas is today they’re going to train [with] in the background ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.”
      Unfortunately for Arteta the plan backfired on him in spectacular fashion as the Gunners were blown away 4-0 by the Reds.
      And fans have been left baffled by Arteta’s bizarre tactics, which also included letting a club photographer handle a pre-match team talk before the North London derby.

      The medic then asks: “Have you stopped eating chocolate?”
      But Tierney says: “No, have I f***.”
      The ex-Celtic star can also been seen dancing in the training room to Status Quo’s ‘Rockin’ All Over the World’ after Arsenal beat local rivals Tottenham 3-1 last September.
      As the camera moves away Tierney can be heard shouting “Here we f***** go” in his broad Lanarkshire accent.
      Amid all the laughs, Tierney has had an injury plagued time since his move to Arsenal.
      And the defender admits he struggles to deal with being on the sidelines.
      He says: “When you’re playing every week you just see life as when’s the next game, it’s pressure, pressure, pressure.
      “When I’m injured there’s no pressure, it feels weird.
      “You just feel like you don’t know where you are, you’re in the middle of nowhere really.”
      Meanwhile, Tierney has revealed he’s feeling right at home in London after being struck by homesickness following his move to the Gunners.
      The defender now lives with the club’s chief cook and pal Johnny McCallum near to the club’s training centre.
      Tierney said: “He can get quite angry sometimes if we get beat, but that’s just passion for you. That’s what he cares about so I stay out his way.”
      Tierney says: “Johnny knows if I’m angry, he leaves the food and just bolts.”

      But he has all his home comforts now that he lives with Gunners chief cook and friend Johnny McCallum.
      The pair live close to the Arsenal Training Centre in north London.

      “My mum had three jobs, as a dinner lady, a cleaner in the school. She was up at five, six in the morning everyday just to provide for me and my sister.”
      And Tierney reveals his mum was worried he’d turn into a big shot.
      He says: “The thing I enjoy the most is making your family proud. That is genuinely the best thing, money can’t buy stuff like that.
      “My mum would watch the TV and it’s all like these superstars.
      “They’re celebrities more than footballers at times.
      “When I came down here I think she was scared if I would go like that, if I would just change.
      “Looking back now, it was hard. My mum and dad say it all the time, “It’s brilliant that you’ve got Johnny. Not just because he cooks, because he looks after you’.”
      McCallum says: “I’m getting emotional.”
      Tierney adds: “I don’t speak often man but when I speak it’s from the heart.”
