      But he has all his home comforts now that he lives with Gunners chief cook and friend Johnny McCallum.
      The pair live close to the Arsenal Training Centre in north London.
      Tierney said: “He can get quite angry sometimes if we get beat, but that’s just passion for you. That’s what he cares about so I stay out his way.
      “Johnny knows if I’m angry, he leaves the food and just bolts.”

      “My mum had three jobs, as a dinner lady, a cleaner in the school. She was up at five, six in the morning everyday just to provide for me and my sister.”
      And Tierney reveals his mum was worried he’d turn into a big shot.
      He says: “The thing I enjoy the most is making your family proud. That is genuinely the best thing, money can’t buy stuff like that.
      “My mum would watch the TV and it’s all like these superstars.
      “They’re celebrities more than footballers at times.
      “When I came down here I think she was scared if I would go like that, if I would just change.
      “Looking back now, it was hard. My mum and dad say it all the time, “It’s brilliant that you’ve got Johnny. Not just because he cooks, because he looks after you’.”
      McCallum says: “I’m getting emotional.”
      Tierney adds: “I don’t speak often man but when I speak it’s from the heart.”

      Ramsdale’s eyes were opened to the reality of life at a club like Arsenal before he even completed his £30million deal from relegated Sheffield United last summer.

      “My mum and dad are on social media but don’t really know what they are doing, so it’s quite easy for them to type ‘Ramsdale’ into Twitter and end up on a page where there’s lots of negativity and abuse.
      “So turning off the notifications has definitely made me feel safer — but it was also better for my family and it’s stopped them from getting upset.
      “As much as I love the fans, the people I need to impress are the manager, the coaching staff and my team-mates.”
      Yet Ramsdale did not take long to figure out that the Twitter trolls are a world removed from the Arsenal regulars who have quickly taken the keeper to their hearts.
      He added: “I got a great reception in my first game in the Carabao Cup at West Brom.

      One of the stand-out moments from the early episodes is when Ramsdale throws a dressing-room strop after conceding a late goal in a 3-1 win against Aston Villa.
      He explained: “That was in the early stage of my Arsenal career — and in the previous two years at Bournemouth and Sheffield United, a late goal would have resulted in either a draw or a defeat.
      “My standards are high and I believe that goal difference can be a huge factor. So we have to defend for 96 minutes and not take our foot off the throttle.
      “I’m not selfishly focused only on clean sheets.“I just felt that we needed to defend properly as a team.”
      Ramsdale almost certainly gets his competitive streak from his father, Nick, who makes a sweary cameo in the documentary as he watches his son in action.
      The keeper, preparing to face Crystal Palace in Friday’s Premier League opener, said: “My dad still hates watching, especially now.
      “He tells me week in, week out to stop passing it into midfield because it is going to give him a heart attack.
      “I just say to him, ‘You’ll have to speak to Mikel about that’.
      “And because he has got the manager’s number from when I signed, he says ‘OK, I will’.
      “So then I have to stop him from going ahead and doing it!
      “He’s always a very competitive person — and I’m told he walks in and out of the box during every game.
      “You can see during the programme that he tries to kick and save every ball with me while he is watching.
      “He’s in a state of complete exhaustion by the time I see him after games.
      “And it’s only going to get worse for him the better we do.
      “Hopefully I’m going to get into the Champions League and, you never know, I might play in a World Cup or a Euros. So it’s something he’s got to deal with.”

      Arsenal’s All Or Nothing documentary is being narrated by A-list actor Daniel Kaluuya.
      Lifelong Gunners fan Kaluuya is an Academy Award and two-time BAFTA winner.
      The 33-year-old Londoner Kaluuya bagged the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his part in Judas and the Black Messiah at the 2021 Oscars.

      Amazon set to seal £1.5BILLION deal to share TV rights with BT Sport to show Champions League games in UK

      AMAZON are set to secure a joint deal with BT Sport to air Champions League matches between 2024-27, according to reports.It is the first time Amazon Prime Video will broadcast European games in the UK having previously aired two rounds of Premier League fixtures every year since 2019.

      But now they have been presented with the opportunity to expand to the Champions League due to Uefa getting rid of their exclusivity model.
      BT Sport have been the sole broadcaster of the Champions League in the UK since 2015 and paid £1.2billion for the rights to air the competition between 2022-2024.
      According to the Daily Mail the latest package is worth £1.5bn with BT Sport and Amazon sharing the rights.

      What is Wayne Rooney doing now?
      Wayne Rooney is now the manager of Championship club Derby County, where he was previously an interim player-manager.
      Derby County were handed a points deduction at the start of the season after entering administration, which saw them start the season 12 points behind the competition.
      They were then handed a further nine point deduction, for breaching the EFL’s Profitability and Sustainability rules.
      Rooney’s Derby have now moved off of the bottom of the Championship table, on 15 points, and would hypothetically be in 16th place had they not had a deduction.
      Doing such a good job so far, Rooney was offered the recently open Everton managerial position, but turned it down to try and save Derby. The position has now been fulfilled by Chelsea legend Frank Lampard. More
