Celtic announce Uefa disciplinary notice that could see fans BANNED from Bayern Munich away game

CELTIC have warned their travlling fans that they are risking being DENIED access should they buy tickets and travel for their play-off round clash. The Hoops have been learned this morning that they will face Bayern Munich in the next round of Europe’s glamour club competition.A green flare has to be removed from the pitch at Villa ParkBut the bad news for Celtic fans is that their club has now seen fit to warn them that they have RECEIVED a disciplinary notice from UEFA in the wake of their defeat to Aston Villa, a match which saw away fans throw a smoke bomb onto the Villa Park pitch. And that could well trigger an away fan ban for the next match, an outcome which Uefa indicated was on the cards when they offered the club a suspended sentence for the action of their fans earlier in the campaign. In a statement today, the Hoops appeared to be laying the groundwork for precisely such a ban.It read: “As a result of the use of pyrotechnics during our match against Borussia Dortmund last year, Celtic Football Club was sanctioned by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body.”The decision meant that, not only did the Club receive a fine of €20,000, but also that, if such behaviour was repeated at a match in the next two years, the Club would be prevented from selling tickets to supporters for one away match in UEFA club competitions.”Unfortunately, the club has received a further disciplinary notice from UEFA following the match against Aston Villa FC on Wednesday evening.  “The Club will obviously make robust representations to UEFA and will make every effort to ensure that our fans can attend our next UEFA Champions League match. “However, clearly there is a risk that supporters may not be able to attend. Most read in Football”In light of this situation, it is incumbent on the club to make supporters aware of this risk, when considering making arrangements for travel, until further information is provided by UEFA.”Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page More

Arsenal vs Man City prediction: Free betting tips, odds and Premier League preview for Super Sunday clash

ARSENAL’S title credentials are put to the ultimate test on Sunday when they host a resurgent Manchester City at the Emirates. It’s been a colossal fixture in the English calendar for a number of years now and this one is no different. So SunSport have enlisted the help of their betting experts to preview the Premier League showdown and select the best bets, tips and exclusive sign-up bonuses from our leading betting partners.Find The Sun’s betting publishing principles hereNew sign-up offersSunSport exclusivesArsenal vs Manchester City previewThis fixture has been title-defining in recent seasons and it’s a significant match-up here too.Unlike in past campaigns, it’s not defining in terms of the title for Manchester City, while the Gunners continue to try and chase down Liverpool.Mikel Arteta’s men go into the weekend six points off the Reds at the top – having played a game more – though a Liverpool win over Bournemouth 24 hours earlier could make that nine points. It’s likely too much of a gap for this Gunners team to chase down but they’ll breed confidence if beating City here. And they’ll do so with Myles Lewis-Skelly in their ranks having had his red card last week rescinded following increased scrutiny. Two back-to-back home 3-1 wins for City were much needed for Pep Guardiola, especially to avoid the embarrassment of being knocked out of the Champions League. Both wins were come-from-behind victories to show their mettle and it’s now just one defeat and two draws from their last nine games, showing recovery after a disastrous couple of months. There’s more than a bit of needle in this one, particularly with Erling Haaland having banged the ball off the back of Gabriel’s head when celebrating and telling Mikel Arteta to stay humble after the game.First scorer and correct score predictionsCorrect score: 2-2 at 12/1 with Betfred – HEREFirst scorer: Savinho 13/1 with talkSPORT BET – HEREArsenal vs Man City latest oddsOdds are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change. How to claim..William Hill £60 welcome bonusVisit the William Hill website HERE*Register an account using the Promo Code: T60Once your account is registered, click ‘opt in’ on the ‘Vegas Promotion’ pageDeposit a minimum of £10 in your main account to receive a £20 Vegas Bonus for use on Selected GamesThen place a bet with a minimum stake of £10 at odds of 1/2 or greater on any football marketOnce that’s settled, your account will be credited with £40 in free betsWilliam Hill: Claim £60 welcome bonus – click here*Arsenal vs Man City predictions and tipsYellow & SilvaNo Manchester City player has more league bookings than the five awarded to Bernardo Silva. The Portuguese is a key member of Guardiola’s squad, particularly in these games that they won’t dominate the ball in quite so much.Booked in five of the 15 league fixtures between the teams he’s featured in.
