‘Maybe you can lend him your nuts’ – Tyson Fury cheekily responds to Oleksandr Usyk’s offer to train Anthony Joshua

TYSON FURY gave a cheeky response to Oleksandr Usyk’s offer of training with Anthony Joshua. Usyk twice beat AJ on points, most recently in Saudi Arabia in August, and offered to help Joshua bounce back.

It came after the Ukrainian ruled himself out of an undisputed title decider with Fury until next year.
The Gypsy King then turned his attention to Joshua and sent out a 60/40 contract in his favour to fight on December 3 in Cardiff.
But Fury claimed to have walked away from talks after accusing AJ of failing to sign before his Monday, September 26 deadline.
So he made a sly remark about his British rival when reacting to Usyk’s offer of training Joshua.

Fury posted: “Maybe you can lend him your nuts middleweight?!
“Usyk, don’t be a p****y like your big pal!”
Joshua, 32, produced a bizarre post-fight rant after losing his rematch with Usyk, 35.
The pound-for-pound star failed in his approach to calm AJ down – but remains open to sharing the ring again in sparring.

He said: “I wanted to talk to him, I said, ‘Ease up, man, let’s just calm down. When I have time I could come to see you in the UK, come to your gym and we could spar together and stuff.'”
Fury, 34, claimed he was moving on to fight Manuel Charr, 37, after Joshua failed to return their contract in his allocated time.
That is despite DAZN and BT Sport this week meeting to attempt a joint pay-per-view deal.
And promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren both voiced their hope in the fight being resurrected.
Hearn said: “There has been no talk of a deadline between the parties, but we are moving at pace to try and conclude the deal.”
Warren told talkSPORT on Monday: “We’re working very hard to get it over the line.
“If everyone agreed everything, it would be a huge undertaking, but we could do it that way.

Hatton captioned it: “Five years ago. Tyson Fury in Manchester. Not in the best of places at the time. Look at us now.”
Fury had been out of the ring for two years at that point, having fallen into depression after beating Wladimir Klitschko.
He ballooned up as much as TEN STONE in weight before embarking on one of sport’s greatest comeback journeys.
Fury actually used Hatton’s Manchester gym during the period and returned to the ring in 2018.

Hatton even cornered him the night he drew with Wilder in a world title challenge, which came on the same year he returned to the ring.
By 2020, Fury, 34, had knocked out American rival Wilder, 36, in their rematch to become heavyweight champion again.
Now Hatton, 43, is on a comeback trail of his own with a scheduled exhibition bout against Marco Antonio Barrera, 48, set for November.

But according to Garcia, the fight almost started early after he confronted Davis on a night out.
He said: “You what’s funny, guys? I actually did see Tank in the club. He’s a ‘tough guy’. He’s a tough guy.
“He’s very low-key in his hoodie. I went up to his table with me and this guy, and we said, ‘Yo, are we going to make this fight happen?’
“I guess he got offended by that, got all worked up. I was like, ‘Yo, what are you on about, man? Ain’t no respect here?’

“He responded with, ‘Nah, there ain’t no respect here.’ I said, ‘Oh, it’s like that. OK, it’s like that? OK’.
“Then he grabbed my chain, but I wasn’t worried about it. There are so many security guards there.
“I knew he wasn’t going to take my chain or do anything, really. He just wanted to seem tough. So I said, ‘Wow, it’s like that, huh?’
“Then he responded again, ‘Yeah, it’s like that.’ Then he let go. He had to let go. Then I said something to him. She knows what I said.

“I’m not going to repeat it on live. Just know in the fight, that’s where it really happens.”
Davis responded to Garcia’s side of the story in a now-deleted tweet and claimed boxing mogul Al Haymon intervened.
He posted: “Al told me to leave him be because he went crying to his lawyer.
“Al got a little scared because they was going to pull out of the fight.”
Garcia, 24, most recently stopped Javier Fortuna, 33, in six rounds of their light-welterweight fight in July.
But he is set to move back down to lightweight to face Gervonta Davis, 27, who knocked out Rolando Romero, 27, in May.

And the Juggernaut has vowed he is not scared of anyone after extending his flawless record to 15-0.
Joyce told Sunsport: “The dream next fight would probably be [Oleksandr] Usyk, or [Tyson] Fury, or [Anthony] Joshua.
“There’s all the top names and they’re obviously great, exciting fights.
“I’m at the top of the division now in the elite level, so I will fight anyone.”

Joyce doesn’t believe a fight with unified heavyweight champ Usyk will come to fruition anytime soon, so he would love to come to blows with Joshua again.
The Putney Juggernaut previously lost to AJ when the pair clashed as amateurs.
He continued: “I don’t think Usyk’s going to fight me, he’s going to fight Fury first.
“But yeah, the Joshua fight is one that I’d like to do.

“I’d like to bash him up.”
The 2016 Olympic silver medallist is also sceptical of a meeting with Tyson Fury, who says his December bout with Joshua is off after AJ missed the Gypsy King’s deadline to sign a contract offer.
Joyce, who is eyeing a return in Spring 2023, said on WBC champ Fury: “He’s talking about wanting to fight me, but let’s see what happens because a lot of things change.
“He’s saying one thing then another thing happens.

Conor’s 26th birthday has fallen smack bang in the middle of the final training camp push, so dad Nigel tried to lighten the mood by bringing him some cake after some hard rounds with Felix Cash.
But British boxing legend Nigel was left with globs of the chocolate gateaux on his nose after Conor pushed it into his face.
Former WBC super-middleweight king Nigel brought the little cake out and sang Happy Birthday to his son.
Conor said: “I can’t eat that, put it away. I’m 100 per cent [committed], mate. 100 per cent.”

Surging welterweight Benn will be fighting at nearly a stone heavier for his showdown with Eubank Jr – whom he’ll face at 157lbs.
Conor’s old man suffered a ninth-round TKO defeat in his first clash with Eubank Sr in 1990 and fought “English” to a split draw in their rematch three years later.
But he doesn’t feel under any pressure to avenge his father’s loss to his former bitter rival.

“Why have I got to feel the pressure? I’ve done this too many times, I’ve entertained too many times for this to now just go, all of a sudden, it’s going to make me crumble.”
The hard-hitting Conor is confident of adding Eubank Jr’s name to his list of victims.
