      Tyson Fury has offered Derek Chisora trilogy fight despite Anthony Joshua talks ‘getting there’, says Eddie Hearn

      EDDIE HEARN claimed Tyson Fury has offered Derek Chisora a trilogy fight – despite ongoing talks with Anthony Joshua. Fury has grown increasingly frustrated having sent AJ a 60/40 deal in his favour for a world title clash on December 3 in Cardiff.

      But Hearn insisted there are still details to be ironed out with meetings and negotiations actively taking place.
      That is between both Matchroom and Queensberry promotions, as well as broadcasters BT Sport, DAZN and ESPN.
      Fury, 34, spoke out to demand the deal be signed TODAY, having previously given Joshua, 32, until last Friday.
      Speaking to Behind The Gloves, Hearn hit back: “I haven’t actually got anything negative to say about, ‘Oh, Queensberry have done this.’

      “And I don’t think they could either. It’s just Tyson Fury.
      “In the meantime, he’s offered fights to Manuel Charr, he’s offered a fight to Derek Chisora, yesterday I think.
      “Yet he rears his head today and says, ‘OK, I’ll give you until today.’ It’s like, it ain’t going to get done today.”
      Earlier today, Fury said he was convinced by promoter Warren to extend his deadline for Joshua.

      But the Gypsy King has now claimed AJ is out for good, once again turning his attention to Charr, 37.
      Fury said: “Manuel Charr, so it seems now that AJ’s finally out, he’s ducked his way out, s***bag, coward.
      “And you’re the man that wants to fight and I like that. I like the fact that you’re very vocal and you’re calling for a fight like a real man should do.
      “Any man that wants to fight another man should call him out, like as you’ve been doing to me.
      “So, I accept your challenge Manuel Charr, let’s get it on motherf***er.”

      Warren also voiced his frustration at a deal not yet being struck.
      He said on talkSPORT: “We’ve done all that’s necessary with BT, ESPN and DAZN. They’re all happy.
      “We gave them a contract. They’ve had it for two weeks and it hasn’t come back yet.
      “Ticketing and the venue is ready to go. We’ve agreed transparency with them.

      One involved Jake’s brother Logan, 27, who took the boxing legend the eight-round distance in July 2021.
      Mayweather, 45, last weekend knocked out Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura, 30, in two rounds.
      And days later he announced another exhibition with YouTuber Deji, 25, on November 13 in Dubai.
      Paul, 25, slammed Mayweather and called to organise a catchweight bout between 165lb and 175lb.

      He said: “Floyd Mayweather is ruining his legacy fighting no-name guys, wasting his fans’ money, wasting his fans’ time.
      “He doesn’t even know the names of the guys he’s fighting, and then he chooses to fight Comedy Shorts Gamer (Deji), influencer, to make some money to pay his tax bills.

      At his peak, he weighed 149kg, or almost 23 and a half stone.
      After retiring in 2009, he went into politics and joined the Russian parliament or Duma in 2011 as a member of the Putin-backing United Russia party.
      Such was his gargantuan size, a special chair had to be made for him to sit in when he attended parliament.
      In 2010, Valuev’s doctor said he was treating the man mountain for “serious bone and joint problems”

      He was forced to undergo two operations that required six months on the sidelines and confirmed in 2013 that medical advice was the main reason he wouldn’t return to the ring.
      But that hasn’t stopped Putin’s army from calling him up for the frontline in Ukraine.
      In an interview with Russian state media, he said he had been handed his summons when he was in the Donbas in eastern Ukraine.
      Unlike his other parliamentary colleagues, he has been told to go to the military registration and enlistment office.

      “In my opinion, everyone has received a summons, I also received a summons,” he told Russian language publication Izvestia. “Will I go? Of course, I will go to the enlistment office now.”

      “I received the summons right before my trip to Donbas, and I was not at home.”
      He added: “Next week I will definitely go and report to the enlistment office.”

      Valuev competed in the heavyweight category during his 16-year career between 1993 and 2009.
      He was World Boxing Association world champion between 2005 and 2007, and again in 2009, when he was defeated by Brit David Haye in the so-called “David Vs Goliath” fight.
      After retiring, the Daily Star reports that he has dedicated the past decade trying to prove the existence of the Russian “Bigfoot”.
      Such was his obsession, that he even appeared on the 2013 Channel 4 series “Bigfoot Files” trekking through the Siberian wilderness.
      In 2011, he went on a separate mission to try and track down Bigfoot, as reported by an official Russian government press release.
      “Valuev did not manage to meet the yeti itself but on the way, he discovered ‘traces’ such as broken tree branches,” it read.
      “By the time they reached the cave, the expedition saw gigantic footprints, similar to a human’s.”
      It comes after ex-Everton and Russian footballer Diniyar Bilyaletdinov was called up to fight in Ukraine, his father revealed.
      The 37-year-old midfielder, who made 59 appearances for the Toffees between 2009 and 2012, last served in the military almost two decades ago.
      His dad Rinat confirmed that he had been signed up to fight in Putin’s disastrous war in Ukraine, despite being two years over the official cut-off age for new recruits of 35.
      “Diniyar really received a summons,” he told Russian publication sports.ru.
      “It is difficult to talk about emotions, because he did not serve, although he did military service, but it was specific, with a sports bias. It was 19 years ago.
      “That is, yes, he took the oath, but served in the sports line. The law still says – to call people up to 35 years old, and he is 37, so there is some kind of inconsistency here.
      “Now he will find out whether this agenda is correct or whether it was sent early. Anything can happen.”
      The news follows revelations that staff from Russia’s national football team have refused to turn home from a friendly match in neighbouring Kyrgyzstan, as hundreds of thousands try to flee from Putin’s partial mobilisation.

      Boxing champion Jai Opetia ‘told police officers to “f*** off” and urinated in cell’ after nightclub arrest

      AUSTRALIAN boxing world champion Jai Opetaia was slammed by a magistrate for aggressive behaviour towards police and urinating in his cell after an arrest.Opetaia was charged with remaining in the vicinity of a licensed premises after being excluded, behaving in an offensive manner in a public place and using offensive language in a public place.

      The IBF champion became aggressive and refused to answer police questions.
      And court documents reveal he began banging on his cell door, urinated in his prison and verbally abused officers following his recent arrest.
      Charges relate to an August 14 night out in Sydney where the unbeaten boxer and a friend attempted to enter Home Nightclub on Cockle Bay Wharf.
      The pair walked towards the exit to the premises, where the security guard denied them entry – telling them to use the correct entrance.

      They then moved towards the security guard, prompting five men to grab Opetaia and move him away.
      The cruiserweight star was asked to leave after getting into an argument with security – but he remained in the area.
      He was restrained until police arrived and put him in handcuffs.
      According to court documents, Opetaia became aggressive with police and loudly said ‘f**k you’ to the officers who gave him a final warning and told him he was being recorded.

      He said: “You f***ing idiots, I’ve sat here arrested… for nothing.”
      He also shouted at one officer: “You are a dumb four-eyed piece of s***.”
      Opetaia faced court for the first time on Wednesday where defence lawyer Jason Murakami entered a plea of guilty on his behalf.
      Mr Murakami asked magistrate Daniel Covington to consider “exercising discretion” given that Opetaia entered a guilty plea, had no criminal history and the objective seriousness was low.
      The lawyer said his client was very remorseful and worried about his poor behaviour more than his sporting career being affected.
      Opetaia shot to fame in July when he defeated Latvian Mairis Briedis, 37, to win his title belt.
      He has also represented Australia at the 2012 Olympics at the age of just 16 and then the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

      He said: “I heard about the Usyk situation and he’s going to be there. I hold Usyk to be a man of his word.
      “If Usyk’s saying he wants to give me an opportunity for the titles then that’s what I’m holding his word to.
      “I always tell people that I don’t look past fighters but I do look through them, there’s nothing wrong with that, being confident in yourself and looking ahead once this chapter is closed.
      “I’ve got to handle business at the end of the day. Without handling business then nothing else is moving forward.
      “I’m taking it one fight at a time. I’m taking it all in one day at a time.
      “Once I’ve accomplished and finished what I have to do with Robert then I’ll move on and I’ll be looking forward to the next challenge, whether it’s Usyk or whether it’s anybody else.”

      Fury and Joshua have already agreed on a 60/40 split in favour of the WBC champion.
      The broadcast situation seemed to be the biggest hurdle to overcome – something Fury claims has now been resolved.
      And he feels there are no more issues to be sorted, with his team simply waiting for Joshua to sign.
      He continued: “So now you’ve got full transparency, everything is clean and fair.
      “Now Joshua, the ball is really in your court, son. Everybody is done. If you’re a man, and if you’ve got any dignity or pride about you, you’ll get this contract signed today.
      “This is it. There’s no more days, weeks, months. You’ve had the contract now for over two weeks and you still haven’t signed it.
      “Show the public that you’re really the big coward that I know you are and don’t sign it. I don’t care either way if you sign it or you don’t – it makes no difference to me at all.
      “You’re a beaten man and I’m a world champion. I’m chucking you a massive bone, but I know I can punch your face in so I’m willing to give you an opportunity.

      AJ said live scorecards could show how fights are playing out as they go on, meaning boxers know how many of the remaining rounds they need to win, or if they need to score a knockdown.
      Knowing for a fact he was down on the cards could have encouraged Joshua to search harder for a knockout when he fought Usyk.
      The judges scorecards currently remain a mystery until the fight winner is announced.
      But AJ suggested knowing how the scores stood round-by-round would create a “very competitive environment” within the ring.

      British boxing fans had been hoping for a mega heavyweight showdown between AJ and WBC champ Tyson Fury on December 3rd.
      But the Gypsy King has now declared the fight dead in the water after claiming Joshua missed his Monday deadline to sign a contract.
