      Tyson Fury reveals he’s not a fan of YouTube boxing and says he ‘sees real fights at Morecambe boozers’

      TYSON FURY says he’s not a fan of YouTube boxing – and has seen better fights down his local pub. The WBC heavyweight champion has praised the likes of KSI and Jake Paul for their crossover impact on the younger set of fans.

      And his younger brother Tommy, 23, still remains linked with a celebrity grudge match against American Paul, 25.
      But despite his admiration, Fury has no interest in the influencer fight scene.
      He told True Geordie: “I’m busy in training for a real fight so I don’t watch all that YouTube stuff.
      “Not that I’ve got anything against it, I think it’s great for the sport and the people who do it.

      “[It’s] great for everybody but it’s not my cup of tea. If I want to see a real fight, I go down to a Morecambe boozer on a Friday night and I watch a fight.”
      Fury, 34, returns on December 3 in a trilogy bout against Derek Chisora, 38, the man he beat in 2011 and 2014.
      And podcast host True Geordie – real name Brian Davis – criticised the bout, due to the one-sided nature of the first two.
      It led to Fury fuming: “No matter what you say, or what people like you want to say, about Derek Chisora, he’s achieved more in boxing and in fighting than 10 man like you could ever achieve.

      “So I’m not just gonna let you sit here and slate somebody whose fought the best fighters of this era just because he’s lost a few fights.”
      He then raged: “I think your a t****r you little t**spot and I won’t be doing anymore interviews with you.
      “You little t**spot bearded-bald-headed t****r. Kiss my b***s… You little s**thouse.”

      Chris Eubank Jr set to fight Liam Smith in all-British Christmas cracker after being robbed of mega Conor Benn payday

      Incredibly the 32-2 star kept to his 159lbs rehydration limit on the morning of the sold-out showdown – just to show his freakish dedication – and he could finally get a decent whack of compensation to end the year on a high.
      Talks have started between the two teams over the all-English clash Sky Sports wanted to stage before the Eubank vs Benn circus hit town at the end of last summer.
      Liverpool ace Smith, 34, will not have much time to sweat down to 160lbs and prepare properly for the son of British ring legend Chris Sr.
      But the former super-welter world champ has regularly been critical of Eubank’s ability, so might not feel he has to be at his best to beat the Hove brawler.

      The Liverpool arena is booked up for most of December for festive shows but Manchester has space at its arena, where both men have fought plenty of times.
      Smith deserves a major UK fight after losing two world title fights in America – one against Canelo Alvarez in 2016 – and getting robbed last year in Russia.
      And a local pay-per-view battle against Eubank Jr – who has enjoyed a huge rise in his popularity over the way he handled the Benn scandal – would be an ideal tonic for some hard losses on the road.
      December 17 was the date Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn wanted to reboot Anthony Joshua’s career at Wembley arena but that plan has now been axed, leaving a slot to be filled for fight fans.

      Smith told Sky: “I was open to that fight before he decided to fight Conor and now the Benn fight is off there is probably only one fight in Britain left for him and that’s me.
      “It’s an easy fight to make and I think we are both willing to fight each other so I am sure that it can be made.
      “I would be ready for December, I fought in September and – by my usual process – I would be ready to go again in December.”
      Eubank Jr was happy for the Benn fight to proceed, before the boxing board intervened, because of the medical and scientific data of a failed September 1 test, that was presented to him on the 23rd.

      But when SunSport revealed last month that there was a second adverse finding, provided in July and confirmed in August, Jr took to Instagram with a cryptic post.

      Warren has Usyk as No2 in his top five list behind “no-brainer” No1 and WBC champ Tyson Fury, who he, coincidentally, promotes.
      The 70-year-old also represents Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois – with both men in Warren’s top handful of heavyweights too.
      Elsewhere Fury’s old foe Deontay Wilder, who brutally knocked out Robert Helenius last month, makes the cut above AJ.
      Warren told BT Sport Boxing: “The number one for me is a no-brainer, that’s Tyson [Fury]. I think he’s head and shoulders [above the rest].

      “I think the next one is probably [Oleksandr] Usyk and then I would say [Deontay Wilder].
      “Then I would say Joe Joyce and I would also put in Daniel Dubois.”
      Dubois comes in above Joshua despite failing to take a major scalp in his career as of yet.
      The 25-year-old was beaten by Joyce in 2020.

      But Warren insisted AJ was not worthy of a place on his list of the world’s top five heavyweights.
      When quizzed on his reasons for the snub, Warren pointed out: “He’s not in the top five of any governing body at the moment, based upon losing two of his last three fights.”
      Joshua has in fact lost three of his last five fights, with his other defeat being the shock loss to Andy Ruiz Jr in June 2019.
      But the Watford warrior does have impressive victories over Dillian Whyte, Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker and Alexander Povetkin on his CV.

      Oleksandr Usyk sets Tyson Fury March 4 deadline for undisputed heavyweight title blockbuster

      TYSON FURY has been given a taste of his own medicine after being handed a deadline to sign a contract for a fight against Oleksandr Usyk.The Gypsy King called off a December bout with Anthony Joshua after claiming AJ didn’t sign off the showdown in time.

      And now unified heavyweight champ Usyk, 35, is setting deadlines of his own to the “unpredictable” Fury.
      The Ukrainian has said the fight must happen before March 4 otherwise it will have to wait until later in the year.
      Usyk is a devout Orthodox Christian and fasts over the Easter period – so a fight after March 4 in the run up to the festival is off the cards.
      Orthodox Christians will celebrate Easter 2023 on April 16, so a bout in the weeks immediately after that date isn’t a possibility either.

      But a mouthwatering undisputed clash before March 4 could be a tight turnaround for Fury, who faces Derek Chisora on December 3.
      Speaking at the Web Summit in Lisbon, Usyk told PA: “Right now my team is in conversations with Tyson Fury, and he is a really unpredictable person, so we can’t guarantee when.
      “For me, the idea would be to fight maybe early February or the beginning of March, like March 4, because I am an orthodox Christian.
      “During the great fasting before Easter I do not fight, so it should be all before or then after orthodox Easter.”

      Usyk has ruled out the prospect of facing someone other than Fury next, claiming the quest for undisputed heavyweight glory is the only thing on his mind.
      He also revealed that war-torn Ukraine could potentially host the showdown, but Saudi Arabia remains a more likely destination.
      Usyk continued: “I want to fight with Fury because I need the fourth belt, and I don’t want to fight with anyone else until I have the fourth belt.
      “For me, I would really like to fight in Ukraine. The country is really capable of hosting this kind of fight.
      “I would be really happy to see it happen in the Olympic Arena in Ukraine. But it is not me who chooses the venue so I guess it will (this time) be Saudi Arabia.”
      Usyk also aimed a dig at Fury for taking on old rival Chisora for a third time later this year.

      And following the fight the YouTuber-turned-boxer was quick to call out potential opponents for his next fight.
      MMA stars Canelo Alvarez and Nate Diaz are both in his sights, with the latter in attendance for Paul’s victory.
      A melee ensued backstage involving Diaz, with the 37-year-old filmed slapping a member of Paul’s entourage before being asked to leave the arena.
      But speaking on his YouTube channel, Bisping warned ex-UFC Champ Diaz that a boxing fight at Paul’s weight would not end well for him.

      He explained: “The majority of Nate Diaz’s fights have happened at 155(lbs), he was a lightweight.
      “Then he went up to Welterweight 170lbs and he went 5-5, the only knockout he got was against Rory Markham in 2010. With boxing gloves on I don’t think it will be a good idea for Nate Diaz.
      “Nate Diaz was a tremendous mixed martial artist. He beat some phenomenal people and had a tremendous career, you know he lost some fights and he won a lot of fights.
      “The Jiu Jitsu would be gone, the kicking game is gone, just the general craftmanship and the game plans and the adversity of attacks; punches, kicks, knees, elbows, strangles, chokeholds, triangles, takedowns you name it, that’s what Diaz can do.

      “Those are the advantages that he has over Jake Paul.

      While Bisping admitted he was wrong to dismiss Paul’s chances of beating Silva, he firmly told him to cool his interest in a fight with Alvarez.

      The 33-year-old is set to meet Eddie Hearn in Abu Dhabi this week to determine how and when he will return.
      One potential fight is a mouthwatering rematch with Dillian Whyte, who was brutally knocked out by Fury in April.
      The pair have previous, with AJ KO’ing Whyte in a grudge bout back in 2015.

      Other possible opponents include Swedish contender Otto Wallin or dangerous Croatian Filip Hrgovic.
      Joshua revealed to DAZN: “I like fighting good opponents.
      “Yeah, I’ll fight Otto [Wallin]. Yeah, I’ll fight Dillian [Whyte]. I’ll fight [Filip] Hrgovic.”
      Wallin, 31, has only been beaten once in 26 fights, and that was at the hands of WBC champ Fury.

      Hrgovic on the other hand is unbeaten in his 15 professional fights.
      Both fighters are tricky propositions for AJ, who has reiterated his desire to only take on the best in the division.
      He added: “As much as it’s about becoming a champion, I always felt like it was important for me to fight the best in my era.
      “Because there was this whole stigma about cherry picking.
      “If you want to get to get to the top, you have to take risks – calculated risks – but you definitely have to take risks. And I just like taking risks.”
      Joshua continued: “It’s not how popular a fighter you are that makes you a good fighter, it’s how good a fighter you are that will make you popular.”

      Fury knocked out Whyte in April at Wembley, which was the last time either stepped foot inside the ring.
      The WBC champion, 34, returns on December 3 at Tottenham’s stadium in a trilogy bout with Derek Chisora, 38.
      And he has called on the services of Franklin, 29, for sparring, with the US heavyweight preparing for his own fight with Whyte, 34, on November 26.
      It has given the undefeated contender the perfect chance to get inside knowledge from Fury.

      Franklin told Lord Ping: “Yes I will ask and have asked Fury about how to beat Whyte. It was pretty much general advice – work your game plan.
      “As I continue to spar with him in the coming days he will give me more advice on what to do. I will say this, Fury and I are pretty much alike.
      “We love to joke around; we love boxing and we have big personalities.
      “Sparring with Fury so far has shown me I can hang with him in the ring.

      “I know some hater out there will say ‘yeah right’ but I know now I have the skills to compete and win at that level.

      The YouTuber-turned boxer enjoyed some down time after beating UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47, in the biggest win of his career.
      It marked the first time Paul, 25, beat an opponent with prior professional boxing experience.
      And it was a night of idol-turned-rival for the American, who idolised Silva since his teenage years.

      Paul told MMAFighting: “It’s still pretty crazy to me, beating one of the greatest combat strikers of all time.
      “I’m just proud of myself. I’m proud I was able to execute everything we worked on in the gym.

      “I felt really comfortable in there, and here we are. It’s unbelievable, it’s surreal.

      “My brother says I should retire and leave the world and just leave people with their jaws dropped. ‘That kid just went 6-0, beat some of MMA’s best, and then just doesn’t do it anymore.’
      “I’m not going to do that, but I have exceeded my own expectations. But I think this is just the start.
      “I’m really starting to get good, and there’s a lot of people that I want to beat. I want to be a world champion.
      “I originally was like, I’ll go 10-0 and then retire. But now I’m 6-0, and it feels like I’m just getting warmed up.
      “So who knows what ends up happening.”
