      Tyson Fury could fight Deontay Wilder in epic FOURTH clash as WBC order final eliminator against Andy Ruiz Jr

      TYSON FURY could be set to face Deontay Wilder for a FOURTH time as the WBC are set to order a final eliminator between The Bronze Bomber and Andy Ruiz Jr.Wilder, 36, returned to the ring on Saturday night, one year on from Fury KO’ing him in the 11th round of their trilogy bout.

      And the concussive heavyweight made a statement with a stunning first-round knockout of Robert Helenius.
      According to talkSPORT, a final eliminator for Fury’s WBC belt is now expected to be announced between Wilder and Ruiz Jr.
      The winner will earn themselves a shot at The Gypsy King who is due to defend his belt for a third time in December – with Derek Chisora set to be the chosen opponent.
      Wilder won the WBC title in January 2015 and defended the belt 10 times – including in a draw with Fury in December 2018.

      He then rematched the Brit in February 2020 and lost via seventh round stoppage.
      After a lengthy legal battle, Wilder then secured a third shot at Fury in October last year.
      And, while the Alabama fighter did drop Fury twice in the fourth round, he was eventually knocked out.
      Meanwhile, Ruiz shocked the world back in June 2019 when he stopped Anthony Joshua in New York.

      The second round saw Ramadan threaten an upset after a clash of heads left an open wound above Cherneka’s right eye with some viewers insisting the fight be stopped.
      Others praised Cherneka’s medics for being able to stem the flow of blood between rounds, allowing the champion to return to the ring.
      She said: “I freaked out a bit in the first round with the cut and felt the blood in my eye but I just tried to stay calm.

      “I knew I could get through it if I stayed on my jab and didn’t get stuck in a brawl.”
      Despite a constant stream of blood down her face and body, the champion was able to knock down her opponent showing no signs of injury.
      The scores were 97-90, 96-92, 96-91, all for Johnson, meaning she was able to retain her IBF super bantamweight title via a unanimous points decision.
      The win was dedicated to her brother Levi who was tragically stabbed to death last month.
      Cherneka said: “I’m dedicating this to my brother and I’m so glad I got the job done – I know he’s here in my corner.”
      Ramadan was visibly upset about the judge’s decision and the fight referee.

      Plucky Ginty managed to send his opponent to the canvas in the opening round.
      But Morris, more experienced as a fighter, shook off his underwhelming start to brutally knock Ginty out.
      In the third round the 6ft 5in star caught Ginty with an enormous right hand that had the TikTok star stumbling.
      The towel was thrown in by his corner, but not in time to save their man from another couple of punches.

      Ginty was sent to the floor by the final punch and required medical attention.
      Thankfully his injuries didn’t appear as bad as first feared, and he was able to greet his opponent after the fight in a show of respect.
      Despite his brutal finish, Morris wasn’t overly satisfied with his performance.
      After the fight he told the Mirror: “I can do so much better than that.

      “He talks like a man who knows what it’s like to win a fight, he hasn’t and when he met me in Miami he wasn’t about it.
      “He wanted to fight me in MMA, boxing whatever until he met me in Miami and thought ‘f*** me, you’re bigger than I thought’, he didn’t have much to say after that.

      And he did so in breathtaking fashion with a stunning knockout victory over Dirrell in Brooklyn.
      The former IBF world champion brought the contest to a devastating conclusion with a huge left-hook in the ninth round.
      Dirrell viciously hit the canvas and those outside the ring quickly rushed to help him as soon as the referee waved it off.
      But Plant was not in a forgiving mood.

      After raising his arms aloft to the crowd, he turned back to the flattened Dirrell and began pretending to dig his grave.
      Referee Harvey Dock saw the “celebration”, swiftly running over to tackle Plant and usher him away.
      And some fans on social media were equally unimpressed by Plant’s post-KO antics.
      One simply said: “Not a good look.”

      The Ukrainian called out Wilder after the news that Tyson Fury, 34, was in talks to fight Anthony Joshua, 33.
      He even claimed he would gatecrash Wilder’s comeback party but alas Usyk, 35, never showed.

      And Usyk is a TV free agent, meaning he could sign a US contract to get the deal over the line.

      Wilder’s KO over Helenius, 38, was a WBC title eliminator bout, something Ruiz won in September against Luis Ortiz, 43.
      The pair of Premier Boxing Champions stars are now set to meet in a final eliminator, where the winner is mandatory for Fury’s belt.
      Both are signed to mysterious mogul Al Haymon, making a deal easier to negotiate than anything else on the market.
      Wilder and Ruiz, 33, have given their blessing in the past, making this the most logical and likely fight next year.

      Wilder said a fight with long-time rival Joshua is the biggest in the world, ahead of a unification between Fury and Usyk.

      Although time is ticking for the heavyweight stars to finally settle their score and the time could be now.
      Both AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn and Wilder’s manager Shelly Finkel have previously left the door open to negotiations.

      Joe Joyce
      Joyce, 37, is the current WBO “interim” champion and in line to challenge for Usyk’s belt.
      But he faces a wait to get his shot with hopes of an undisputed title bout next year.
      It has left many questioning if Joyce’s iron chin could prevail against Wilder’s famously heavy hands.
      And Joyce’s promoter has a good relationship with Wilder’s team, dating back to the trilogy series with Fury.

      Whyte, 34, was never granted a shot at Wilder’s WBC title, causing friction between the pair.
      And with the two on the comeback trail, it could make for an intriguing fight with both at a crossroads in their career.
      Whyte is not tied down to a promoter or network, meaning he is free to negotiate with Wilder.
      But the Bronze Bomber may feel there is bigger fish to fry in the deep heavyweight waters.

      Haney, 23, signed a three-fight deal with Top Rank in order to get his shot at Kambosos, 29, and the unified belts.
      And Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum already named Lomachenko, 34, as an option after rematching Kambosos in Australia.
      The Ukrainian makes his boxing return on October 29 against Jamaine Ortiz, 26, and wants to challenge for the titles after.
      And it would makes sense for Haney to close out the final bout on his current contract with pound-for-pound star Lomachenko.

      Teofimo Lopez
      Another high-profile fight ready to be made by Top Rank pits bitter rivals Lopez and Haney against each other.
      They are former sparring partners-turned arch rivals who were set to fight at lightweight, before Lopez, 25, lost to Kambosos in 2021.
      The American has since moved up to super-lightweight, targeting titles at his new home of 140lb.
      And with Haney looking gaunt at the 135lb limit, it could be the perfect time to move up and settle the score with Lopez at the same time.

      Perhaps the biggest money fight in the lightweight division would be against pay-per-view headliner Davis, 27.

      Rumours recently suggest Davis is a free agent after fighting out the final bout on his current deal with promoter Mayweather, 45.
      So it could free him up to negotiate a deal with Haney, despite ongoing talks to fight Ryan Garcia, 24.

      Garcia and Haney’s history dates back to the amateurs, where they both recorded wins over each other.
      Since then, Garcia has gone on to become a mainstream attraction with a huge social media following, while Haney has the title belts.
      The pair were lined up to fight on DAZN, although a deal could not be reached.
      Haney still has a good relationship with DAZN, leaving the door open for a return to face poster boy Garcia.

      Two-weight world champion Stevenson, 25, is set to move up to lightweight after vacating his super-featherweight belt.
      Stevenson is currently Top Rank’s fastest rising prospect with a history of winning titles alongside Haney in the unpaid ranks.
      They even formerly sparred together and hold a huge amount of respect for each other as they climb the rankings.
      But with Haney’s time at lightweight sure to be coming to an end, a window to fight Stevenson could be short, meaning the time could be now.

      “A sport is something you play. You don’t play this. We risk our lives for your guys’ entertainment and I speak that forever.
      “But when you have a relationship with a man, when you love a man, when you build a friendship with another man although he’s a thousand miles away from where I am.
      “When you see stuff like that man, you want to come to his aid. I wanted to come to his aid but they wouldn’t let me.
      “But my heart goes out to him and I hope he’s OK and goes back to his family because this is a tough business that we’re in.”
