Billionaire Floyd Mayweather drives modest £22,000 truck every day because boxing legend wants to be ‘low key’

FLOYD MAYWEATHER drives a modest £22,000 pickup truck every day because he wants to remain “low key”.The boxing king showed off his Dodge Ram 1500 Classic on a tour of his incredible £19million Beverly Hills mansion.
Mayweather says this truck, which starts at £22,000, is the favourite motor he owns in his £20m collectionCredit: Instagram @floydmayweather
Money has an amazing underground garage at his LA mansion but his favourite car is not seen among the Bugattis and Rolls-Royces

Mayweather took fans around his two swimming pools, monster walk-in wardrobe and luxury kitchen before walking out the front of his LA home.
And it was there that he documented his love of the basic truck for the 25,000 watching on Instagram live.
Mayweather, 45, said in 2020: “My truck I drive every day. I stay low key.
“I’ve showed you some of the toys but the crazy thing about it all is, let me show you all the car I drive every day.
“I showed you guys a bunch of toys. See that right there? You can’t beat that.”
Mayweather has been part of sport’s exclusive billionaire club, alongside Michael Jordan, Cristiano Ronaldo and Tiger Woods.
But the All-American Dodge truck starts at just £22,000.

Considering he boasts a car collection worth around £20m, it’s likely that ‘Money’ may have added a couple of extras to make his truck nicer. The Dodge motor normally boasts 401hp, has a 5.7l Hemi V8 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Some models feature an 8.4inch touchscreen with navigation built in, a nine-speaker sound system and 20-inch chrome clad aluminium wheels. But Mayweather clearly liked the simplicity of his version.
He insisted it was his favourite vehicle before going onto show fans his enormous underground garage which featured a host of supercars.

Mayweather walked past the parked Rolls-Royces and Bugattis – all black – while admitting they had got dusty and needed a clean.
All of the 50-0 champ’s cars in LA are black and all his motors at his other mansion in Las Vegas are white.
Mayweather, who is said to be worth around £400m now, gets between the two properties on his private jet.
He will fight again in an exhibition format against YouTube star Deji in Dubai on Sunday, November 13.

And Croatian clubber Babic has been brought in by Team Fury to give Tyson some solid rounds ahead of his third defence of the prestigious WBC strap.

Boxing fans were quick to comment on Babic being part of Fury’s training camp, with one saying: “I would love to have watch this.”

“It’s almost always the best possible emulation he can get for any said opponent, can’t wait to see who he’ll choose for [Oleksandr] Usyk.”
Another chimed in: “Sparring [Jermaine] Franklin, [David] Adeleye, Babic and probably many more too.
“Great to see him getting back into the swing of things after a long layoff.
“Hopefully he should be in prime condition for undisputed around March.”
Fury, 34, goes into his trilogy fight with Chisora 2-0 up in their series – which began 11 years ago.
But the Wythenshawe warrior is refusing to underestimate the veteran heavyweight, saying: “He [Chisora] done very well against Usyk.

“And may I say, who the hell is Usyk?
“People didn’t know his name until he beat the bodybuilder [Anthony Joshua] the other day.
“He was a little, small heavyweight who wasn’t going to do anything against AJ when Chisora fought him.
“But then he stepped up and beat the big bodybuilder and now all of a sudden, he’s the killer. I don’t think so.
“Listen, I rate Derek Chisora as highly as I rate Usyk, and I will train as hard for Derek as I will for any man in the world.
“If I didn’t, I would have to be an absolute idiot – I will not underestimate Derek Chisora.

“God forbid I got beat, it won’t be for the fact that I had an injury or I didn’t train hard enough, it would be the fact that I lost to a better man on the night.

And the trash talk quickly flowed as they got up close and personal with one another.
Taylor kicked off the smack talk by saying: “You said something to the king, bring it.”
As he approached Love Island winner Fincham, he said: “I’mma break you [in the] first round. I’mma break you first round.”
Fincham then said: “Listen, I’ve done a lot more [than you].”

But before he could finish his sentence, Taylor shot for a single-leg takedown and began wrestling Fincham.

Fincham’s clash with MMA star Taylor – who boxed Tommy Fury last year – will mark his professional boxing debut.
Boxing has long been a passion for Fincham, who told Planet Sport: “I think people are going to be shocked.
“It won’t look like I’ve just stepped in from reality TV, it will look like this geezer knows what he’s doing. And I’ll be able to adapt to anything that’s in front of me.
“That’s part of being from the amateurs really. Sometimes you turn up to shows as a spare and you’d get on the show and you’d fight.
“Sometimes you’d fight three times in a week against three different boys.
“I can adapt, I wouldn’t say I’m one style. And also, you’ve got to remember that the pro game is a lot different to amateur.

“Sometimes you might settle into a new style because amateur is very pitter-patter and very counter-punchy.

Ricky Hatton sheds FOUR STONE in stunning body transformation ahead of comeback fight aged 44

RICKY HATTON’S exhibition fight with fellow legend Marco Antonio Barrera is an exercise in mental strength and nostalgia and nothing to do with a serious comeback.Alarm bells have to ring when a 44-year-old grandfather announces a fight, ten years after his last one ended in a second consecutive defeat.

But the former two-weight world champ and Manchester icon has explained how a gruelling training regime, four-stone weight loss and chance to walk out at his local arena on Saturday has hugely improved his life – not threatened it.
The Hitman is in such a good mental space he has even treated himself to the occasional pint in the build-up and even stayed on track over a family holiday where he would usually go OTT.
“I’ve been having a few Guinness here and there,” he said with the trademark smile fans fell in love with. “Because I’ve been able to keep on top of it.
“I went to Tenerife for five weeks. Normally I’d put on a stone and a half but I went there and put four or five pounds on. Everyone was like “f***!”  but that’s the way it’s going to be now.

“It’s not gonna be ‘I’m 44, I’m gonna put my feet up, pipe and slippers’.
“You get a little bit older, a bit wiser and things have to change – a little bit.”
Hatton added: “When I jumped on the scales at the start of training it was 15st 4lbs.
“And the weigh-in is this Friday which is made at 11st 7lbs. And I’m 11st 7lbs now.
“It’s been a long way to come. I’m 44years of age, and the shape that I’ve got myself in has taken a lot of hard work.
    Most read in Boxing
“It’s been great to give myself a target, a goal. It’s been great for my own wellbeing.
“I’ve had so many message of support from people who have struggled with their weight. They say to see my from where I was a few years ago to where I am now is an inspiration.
“It makes me feel very, very proud that I’m not just going to be back in the ring again, and hear the roar of the crowd again, but it’s also that it’s inspired people. That’s more important for me.”
It was an all-too-rare TV appearance that sparked Hatton’s transformation and a clear out of his wardrobe even more ruthless than his assault on the super-lightweight division.
“I went in and filmed A Question of Sport three weeks before I started training,” he said.
“I’d been in camp for eight weeks when they told me it was coming on.
“I flicked it on and went “F***ing hell!’.
“I was alright mentally and I have been for a while but when I saw the show I emptied my entire wardrobe.
“I’ve got a new wardrobe now, I’m a 30in waist at the minute. I’ve got a few 32s. As soon as the 32s get a bit too tight, I’m not going for the 34s again.
    “If I can’t get the button fastened, I don’t f***ing go out!”
The dance with the 48-year-old Mexican warhorse was originally scheduled for July 2 but suffered a postponement.
He handled the heartbreak and extended training camp with typical humour and honesty.
He said: “Physically I’d look in the mirror at 15 stone and think, ‘Rick, you don’t look too bad’ and it never bothered me while I was fighting, because in six or seven weeks I’d be back training and it would come off anyway.
    ‘IT’S BEEN SO INSPIRING’
“But I’m 44 now, I can’t keep dragging some poor f***er out of retirement every time I want to get some weight off!
“I’ve enjoyed the compliments, people coming up to me with mental health and saying, ‘f***ing hell, Rick, I’ve been struggling with my weight and seeing you shift all that weight has made me want to’.
“Then other people have said, ‘Jesus, Ricky, seeing you a few years ago with all that weight, suicidal, wanting to kill yourself, heavily drinking, heavily into drugs, the way you were, to see you now, it’s been so inspiring’.
“So even when the original fight was postponed, I knew it had not been for nothing.
“It was the first training camp I had in 10 years and now I’ve had two in 10 years. I’ve stayed on top of things, I do 10-rounds of sparring, I wouldn’t have been able to in the last time. Now I can.
“Nobody can say this exhibition is a bad thing. When fighters make comebacks, you never want to see your heroes being bashed up or hurt. In an exhibition, it’s controlled.
“You can see your heroes for one last time, showcase their skills, with the knowledge they won’t get hurt.

“With me, people who have struggled with their weight and depression, the shape of me now, the way I’m talking, how I’ve changed. I’m not ready for my pipe and slippers yet.
“It’s inspired a lot of people, I’ll hear the crowd roar again and share the ring with Marco, it’s a dream. I can’t see a negative thing about it.”

Floyd Mayweather vs Deji net worth: How superstars compare ahead of Global Titans fight

FLOYD MAYWEATHER’s clash with Deji Olatunji is growing closer and fans are beginning to get excited. The legendary boxer, who boasts an incredible 50-0 record, will take on the Youtuber for his fourth exhibition fight since his 2017 retirement.
UK viewers can watch these two go head-to-head on Sunday, 13 NovemberCredit: Getty Images – Getty
In contrast, Deji has one professional win on his record after beating YouTuber FouseyTube, which followed three exhibition losses.
Mayweather and Deji have had very different career paths going into this fight, but they are both similar in terms of being successful – and lucrative.
This is how their net worths compare before their fight in Dubai.

Floyd Mayweather JR estimated net worth – $1.2billion (£1bn)

The boxer, 45 – known as “Money” – is one of the highest-earning athletes ever and is renowned for his incredible wealth.
Mayweather has built his cash with a series of record-breaking pay-days throughout his career and claimed in 2021 that his net worth had passed $1.2bn.
Forbes reported ahead of his fight with Conor McGregor in 2017 that the $200m (£175m) that the boxer made from the fight put him over the $1bn mark.
    Most read in Boxing
Mayweather lives a life of luxury and often shows off his lifestyle on social media
Further money-spinning fights since then – included his exhibition fight with Logan Paul – has only helped the star increase in value.
Mayweather is estimated to have garnered over 24 million pay-per-view purchases throughout his pro career and even formed his own promotional firm – Mayweather Productions.
The “fight of the century” with Manny Pacquiao in 2015 also ranks as the highest ever pay-per-view bout in US history.
As many as 4.6m Americans bought the fight and watched Money pick up his 48th career win with an unanimous points victory.
All of this, along with other sporting ventures, means the fighter can boast an incredible net worth.
And he has rarely been shy about flaunting his cash with the 45-year-old once pictured at a table with stacks of money piled up around him.
He is also known to have expensive collection of stunning cars and houses which he regularly flaunts on social media.
Deji Olatunji estimated net worth – £5m
Mayweather and Deji are at very different stages of their boxing careers
Deji had a very different route into boxing than Mayweather and built his name outside the ring.
The Tank is the younger brother of KSI and initially appeared in his Youtube videos.
Deji then branched off by making his own content, which included gaming and prank videos.
Like his brother, the 25-year-old was among the leaders of Youtubers taking on boxing and was on the undercard when KSI took on Logan Paul in 2018.
He has not always fared well in the ring and lost his first three fights.
But Deji’s popularity has only continued to grow from his Youtube days and his net worth now reportedly stands at £5m.
Most of his success has come from YouTube, where he has over 9.7million subscribers and 3.4billion views on his channel.
Youtubers’ money comes through adverts placed on their videos and subscribers signing up to someone’s channel.
The platform is also an incredible vehicle for gaining name recognition and collating with other social media stars.
Deji’s reputation could grow even further if he puts in a good performance against Mayweather, and he has revealed his dramatic physical transformation as he prepares for the fight.
