Tyson Fury calls out three heavyweights to UK stadium fights including Anthony Joshua and only Brit to ever beat him

TYSON FURY still has unfinished business to take care of in his boxing career. Fury is currently in talks to fight Oleksandr Usyk in what would be the heavyweight division’s first four-belt unification bout.

It comes after Anthony Joshua was twice beaten by Usyk, 35, freezing him out of the title picture.
Fury, 34, still has a Battle of Britain bout against Joshua, 33, in his mind and fancies a stadium sellout in the future.
But AJ is not the only one the Gypsy King wants to settle his score with, pointing to retired pair David Price, 39, and David Haye, 42.
Price famously beat Fury in their 2006 amateur bout and pipped him to a spot in the 2008 Team GB Olympic squad.

Fury told iFL TV: “I wonder if it would still sell out a stadium if me and big old David Price had a fight.
“Even though he’s retired, Old Trafford or Anfield I think we sell it out for the WBC World Heavyweight title.
“Or even if the WBC wouldn’t sanction it, we could do it for the North West title of Great Britain.
“The rivalry was that big for so long, and he was the only British person to ever beat me, amateur or pro. I think it’d sell out.”

Fury has still not forgiven Haye for twice pulling out of their proposed pay-per-view fight set for 2013 and then 2014.
And he took the opportunity to mock his ex-rival for using a broken toe as an excuse for losing to Wladimir Klitschko in 2011.
Fury said: “I also think that a fight with the toe breaker would sell a stadium out. Do you think me and him [David Haye] would still sell out?
“There’s still three big rivalry fights in this country for me. Even though they ain’t active or whatever. David Price, David Haye Anthony Joshua. Three…
“So if you’re out there and I know you’re still out there and I know you’re still in the gym.
“I still think three of them fights sell out a stadium, and I really do mean that. It’s all about the ‘what if?’ isn’t it?”

Anthony Joshua had to be ‘helped up’ after being dropped by David Price with a ‘big right hand’ in sparring

DAVID PRICE claimed Anthony Joshua had to be “helped up” after he knocked him out with a “big right hand” in sparring. The pair of British heavyweights were former training partners at Team GB’s Sheffield HQ.

And one session in 2011 stands out among them all as Price floored then-amateur champion AJ.
Opening up on the incident, Price told iD Boxing: “I just caught him with a big right hand and down he went.
“He had to get helped up, type of thing, and ushered out the ring.
“And it was no big deal to me at the time, and there was no shame in that happening to you if I hit you.”

Joshua was one year away from winning Olympic gold in London, which later paved the way for two unified world title reigns in the professional ranks.
And in 2018 he admitted to being put down by Price, just hours after leaving a police cell.
Joshua revealed: “I had come out of a police cell the day I went up to training. I won’t use it as an excuse.
“I was coming up to training camp, Thursday to Sunday, because I was on a development course.

“But I got nicked on the way to training camp – for just trouble – and I got out on the Saturday.
“I started sparring as soon as I got up there, straight from the station, I do think he was very good at the time, very strong and I was making too many mistakes.
“Those circumstances don’t help when you’re sparring an elite fighter.
“I even had to get the train to Sheffield because they took my car – just to show my commitment. What I learnt was you cannot stop someone like me.
“They say you have two types of fighters; those that get dropped and stay down.
“But the ones you have to be wary of are the ones who keep on coming. You just cannot stop someone like that.
I just caught him with a big right hand and down he went. David Price on flooring Anthony Joshua
“I learnt it will take more than just power or durability to stop me.”
Joshua, 33, is now set to return in the spring of 2023 following consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk, 35.
Meanwhile Price, 39, is currently retired and insisted he only ever made the sparring tale with AJ public to chase a fight with the star.
He said: “I never ever mentioned it until I started getting mentioned as a potential opponent for him in 2016 it was, when he fought Erik Molina.
“I was in the IBF top ten so it could have been a voluntary defence for him and I was calling for the fight and people were laughing at the thought of me fighting him, and that’s when I thought I’ll spill the beans then and let the people know that he isn’t indestructible.
“Because at that time people thought AJ was the terminator and that he would never ever be hurt.

“Or it was this new generation of fans that people were talking about him and I thought I’d just let the cat out the bag type of thing.
“Only for my own benefit, not to try and put him down it was to try and gain something from it myself. But it didn’t work out anyway, I didn’t get the fight.”

But the pay-per-view title bout has been thrown into major doubt following the news of Davis’ arrest.
Broward County (Florida) inmate records show that on Tuesday evening Parkland police arrested him with charges of battery causing bodily harm.
They classified the incident as alleged domestic violence and published his mugshot.
It has not yet been made public exactly when or where the alleged incident took place.

This is the latest brush with the law in the career of unbeaten Davis, 28, nicknamed “Tank”.
He was in February 2020 previously arrested and charged in Miami with two misdemeanour counts of simple battery domestic violence on the mother of his daughter at a charity basketball game.
A video of the alleged incident went viral on social media at the time.
The related court case dragged on for nearly three years before the prosecution abandoned the charges earlier this month on December 13.

Davis is also due to stand trial on February 16, which was pushed back from December, facing 14 charges from an alleged hit-and-run in 2020.
Showtime, the TV network broadcasting the fight against Garcia as well as promoters Premier Boxing Champions and TGB Promotions are yet to comment on Davis’ recent arrest.
And it remains to be seen whether the fight against Dominican Garcia, 31, will still go ahead.
Davis is in line for a super-fight against Ryan Garcia, 23, next year, with his return bout a proposed tune-up to prepare.

Tyson Fury opens up on first ever fight in pair of Donald Duck trackies that fell down whenever he threw a punch

TYSON FURY admits his first-ever fight didn’t go exactly to plan. That’s because he was wearing a pair of Donald Duck trackies that fell down whenever he threw a punch.

A nine-year-old Fury battled his neighbour in trackies featuring Donald Duck
Fury, 34, is the king of the boxing world after soaring to his 33rd professional win against Derek Chisora this month.
The unbeaten bruiser is now on the hunt for a new opponent.
And Fury dreams of unifying the heavyweight division in a battle against Oleksandr Usyk before also settling old scores with Anthony Joshua.
But Fury’s path to boxing glory had humble beginnings.
    READ MORE ON TYSON FURY
The Gypsy King hilariously revealed to IFLTV that his first came when he was just a nine-year-old kid.
Despite only being a little lad, Fury found himself having a dust-up with his neighbour in the front garden.
And he found it difficult to keep up with his opponent after wearing an oversized pair of tracksuit bottoms.
Indeed, the Donald Duck-themed trousers kept falling down every time Fury tried to punch his nemesis.

But the Gypsy King remembers his first scrap fondly.
He said: “I remember a fight with my neighbour, I was nine.
“We went round and had a little dust-up on the front lawn for no reason.
“I had a pair of Donald Duck tracksuit bottoms and they kept falling down every time I tried to throw punches.”
Fury has his sights set higher these days as he looks to finally get a date with Usyk.
But Irish boxing legend Barry McGuigan reckons Fury could be in serious trouble against his Ukrainian opponent, saying: “Fury relies on his size and intimidation.
“But Usyk does not scare easily. The way he stared down Fury at the Chisora fight told us that.
“Usyk was too good for Joshua, who improved considerably in the second fight.
“Joshua is a decent attacking fighter too, better than Fury on the front foot.
“Fury is essentially a boxer-fighter. He rarely comes forward until he has to. Speed is the issue.

“Usyk is not only a southpaw who moves brilliantly and takes a shot, he has epic speed.
“I think this is a much tougher fight for Fury than he thinks it is. And, like Joshua, he could be in for a rude awakening.” More

However, just one week before the blockbuster clash, Fury’s mother was rushed to hospital after being taken seriously ill.
In an interview with IFL TV, the Wythenshawe-born boxer said: “I had a phone call when I was in a training camp for Chisora

“‘There’s a five to one chance that she could die. Do you want to come and see her before she goes in?’
“I’m a week away from my fight. One week. And I’m like: ‘What? Why haven’t you f***ing told me?’
“[The doctor said] ‘She’s got a blood clot in her throat and she’s had multiple strokes. She’s lost the use of her arms and legs on one side and we’ve got to do an emergency operation to remove the blood clot and put a stent in.’
“That’s the phone call I’m talking about. You can only be one phone call away from a disaster.”

The Gypsy King is looking forward to Christmas with his wife Paris and his six children.
But his family were nowhere to be found as he mocked-up a Christmas card that featured some of the heavyweights he has tangled with inside and outside the ring.
Fury’s Instagram sees a Christmas-style card with the champ stood in his suit alongside five children.
But instead of his actual kids, the boxer superimposed the faces of some of his rivals over the children.

The 34-year-old has history with all of the men who he featured on the card, most notably Wilder who he fought in three epic contests between 2018 and 2021.
The first fight is best remembered for the extraordinary final round when Fury miraculously recovered after being floored by a vicious Wilder punch.
Following that bout being scored as a draw, two more action-packed fights followed with Fury scrapping his way to two spectacular wins.

And Fury spent several weeks earlier this year desperately trying to put on a fight with Joshua before negotiations fell apart.
Noticeably missing from the mock-up was Fury’s other trilogy rival, Derek Chisora.
The two faced off in 2011, 2014 and earlier this month with the Gypsy King winning all three.

She told us back in April: “The main reason I don’t want to do OnlyFans is because I still want to go back and teach.
