Jake Paul reveals terms for KSI grudge fight including life-changing winner-take-all purse

JAKE PAUL and KSI engaged in a public spat as the bitter YouTube rivals squabbled over terms to fight. The sworn internet enemies are still feuding five years into their rivalry but with no date to settle the score in the ring.

Talks were progressing for the pair to meet in an end-of-year blockbuster, with Wembley among the options to host.
But those plans took a hit when Paul, 26, was beaten by Tommy Fury, 23, in February by split-decision.
They now look set to rematch in the summer despite KSI’s plea for the American to focus on their grudge match instead.
KSI, 29, now returns on May 13 against millionaire businessman-turned-9-0 boxer Joe Fournier, 40.

And he tweeted: “When I KO Joe Fournier, I will be the pound-for-pound best YouTube boxer. Yes above Jake Paul.”
It sparked a row between the pair, as Paul responded: “Hahaha. I’m your idol.
“So when you beat a guy whose last pro fight was over two years ago against a reggaeton singer that had never boxed in his life, you are the pound-for-pound best?!
“Or is because his fight before that was 6 years ago against a 1-11 “boxer”? Sham.”

Fournier beat musician Reykon, 36, on Paul’s undercard in April 2021 and last fought before that over six years ago against 1-12 Antonio Sanchez.
But KSI clapped back: “This is a lot of talk for someone that’s ducking me.”
Paul then proposed a winner-take-all purse if he is to accept KSI’s demand of a 180lb catchweight bout with a rehydration clause.
He said: “$30M to the winner, 0 to the loser if you want me to agree to your request of 180 pounds and rehydration clause. Agree to that and I’m in.”
Paul then added that if the stipulation is not met, he will change the fight weight by 5lb with NO limit to what he can weigh the next day.
He added: “You want me to come to London and fight at an unnatural weight with a rehydration clause then it’s all or nothing.
“Or be man take the fight without rehydration clauses. 185. 50/50.”
Paul challenged Fury to a similar double-or-nothing wager but the Love Islander never signed the official document.
KSI replied: “Ain’t no way I’m doing this deal cos you still ain’t paid up for your last deal with Tommy Fury after he slapped you up.”
$30M to the winner, 0 to the loser if you want me to agree to your request of 180 pounds and rehydration clause. Agree to that and I’m in.Jake Paul to KSI
To which Paul said: “There we go. You, your squirrel and your ‘partners’ don’t have the courage to put it all on the line in a contract and sign. Just like Tommy and his dad didn’t.”
The bad blood dates back to KSI’s 2019 win over Paul’s brother Logan, 27, following a draw between them the year prior.
KSI has since had three wins, taking his record to 5-1 in the ring although only his victory over Logan was professionally sanctioned.
But he told Paul: “I’m the A side so you do what I want. I’m undefeated, you’re not.
“If I want you to come to London, you come to London. 180 is perfect for you and me. Stop crying and sign.”
But Paul fired back: “You ain’t s***. You have 1 pro fight, a split decision against my brother.
“That’s the only ‘fight’ you have ever done that the masses cared about.
“I agreed to come to London so there is one less excuse for you to not take the fight. All yap and all cap is what you are.”
KSI finished the argument by laying down the gauntlet one final time in a bid to get the fight on.

Lawrence Okolie sets fire to his relationship with Eddie Hearn as he blasts him for ‘never stepping foot in a ring’

LAWRENCE OKOLIE remains close with mentor Anthony Joshua but has set fire to his relationship with Eddie Hearn. The 30-year-old WBO world cruiserweight champion has undergone a drastic overhaul of his career, parting with AJ’s 258 management team, the DAZN streaming app fronted by Joshua, and Hearn’s Matchroom promotional stable.

Okolie only took up boxing after watching 33-year-old Joshua win the 2012 London Olympics, while working a shift in McDonalds. And he seemed close to Hearn after he guided him to a world title win in 2021.
But, ahead of Saturday’s comeback bout against David Light after a year out settling these business disputes, Okolie explains his admiration remains for AJ but the same cannot be said of Hearn.
The 18-0 Hackney ace said: “As people, me and Joshua are still friendly.
“He’s someone that no matter what happens going forwards, I’m always going to have respect for.

“My life has changed through his life if that makes sense. That’s something I’ll never take away from. Business is business. It is what it is.
“AJ is a fighter who understands certain things not like someone like Eddie – who has never been in a ring – will understand.”
Okolie and fellow 2016 Olympian Joshua Buatsi have almost identical stories, coming from London, starring as amateurs, signing with AJ and Hearn and both recently leaving for Sky Sports, with plenty of bad blood.
The always reserved and respectful Buatsi, 30, also parted on spikey terms, accusing Hearn of being deliberately misleading about his career.

And Okolie goes deeper, suggesting the way Hearn handles his fighters and the truth will have a negative effect on future generations of British fighters.
“It’s not just about me and Buatsi,” he said. “If stuff keeps going the way it’s going then it will keep happening.
“I think what people need to understand is it is not about us.
“I’ve only got a few years in the ring left, god willing, then you have all the up-and-comers.
“We went to a boxing gym on Wednesday, full of kids and we don’t know which one of them kids is going to be the next champion.
“They’re looking and wondering: ‘Why is Lawrence saying this, why is Buatsi saying this and why is the next person saying this?’
“It’s just about helping the next ones that are coming through. That’s what we have to focus on.” More

Tyson Fury’s coach reveals fears for heavyweight champ after undisputed showdown with Usyk collapsed

TYSON FURY is gutted that his undisputed showdown with Oleksandr Usyk collapsed – even if he’ll never show it.Late on Tuesday night, the six-month talks went up in smoke over the purse split of the rematch.

WBC champ Fury, 34 had already squeezed every penny out of the 36-year-old WBA, IBF and WBO boss by getting 70-30 of the April 29 Wembley showdown and Uysk wanted the same deal if he won in London and they secured a rerun.
The Gypsy King, who has already held all of Usyk’s three belts after he dethroned Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, insists the ultimate four-belt supremacy means nothing to him.
But American trainer SugarHill Steward says his ever-bullish protege will be bruised by this super-fight collapsing: “Of course Tyson is down, he wants to fight.
“He’ll fight any heavyweight with a big name. Tyson was ready, Tyson is always ready.

“He would fight after an eight-week camp, I tell him he only needs six because he is old school. Tyson is old school so he is always training.”
When asked if the frustrating failure to secure the biggest fight in boxing could send Fury spiralling back toward his mental health problems, Steward said: “It can happen to anyone, it can happen to me, anyone.”
Fury currently has no mandatory challenger for his WBC crown – unlike Usyk, who has to face WBA mandatory Daniel Dubois this summer – so he can pick his next opponent.
And Steward – in Manchester to train WBO cruiserweight champ Lawrence Okolie for his Saturday night defence against David Light – says any big man, with a big profile, can step into the fray with as little as one month’s warning.

The Kronk gym mastermind said: “I want Tyson to fight anyone who is willing to get in there and fight him without all this contractual baggage. Anyone like that will get that fight made.
“If you need ten weeks to train for another man, you ain’t in boxing.
“You should already be in shape, you should not have a lot of weight to lose, and if you need to lose weight, it would come off in a heartbeat.
“Those long training camps are for fighters who are not ready, who are out of shape and haven’t been doing anything.
“In the old days, people didn’t need a 12-week camp because they had a world title fight eight weeks after their last fight.
“Guys stayed in shape, boxing was their lifestyle, as it should be. It’s Tyson’s lifestyle, as it should, he can fight anyone on four weeks’ notice.”
Fury himself launched and extraordinary x-rated rant accusing Usyk of ‘running’ from their now-dead undisputed heavyweight showdown.
a frustrated Fury took to Instagram on Thursday to say: “Uysk, you proper little s***bag, bog-eyed, gappy-teethed, ugly little rat b*****d
