      Watch Anthony Joshua’s explosive power on punch bag while SITTING DOWN as fans fear how hard he can hit while standing

      ANTHONY JOSHUA has been branded the “hardest hitter on the planet” after he showed off his power on a punch bag while sitting down.
      The 30-year-old has been knuckling down in the gym ahead of his fight against Kubrat Pulev and next year’s double header against Tyson Fury.

      Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO champion was sat down the entire time.
      Joshua, who has a record of 23-1 including 21 KOs, added the caption: “Regiment.”
      In response, one fan said: “Just for every clown talking smack, he’s generating that power whilst sat down, very impressive.”

      To which another added: “Exactly what I was thinking man. Imagine that with the entire body… scary.”
      Another Twitter user replied: “This guy is sitting and still landing bombs.”
      One fan concluded: “Hardest hitter on the planet.”
      The heavyweight champ has now jetted to Marbella ahead of his training camp for his fight against Pulev.

      As he made his way into Opium Beach Club this week, rival fans started singing: “There’s only one Tyson Fury.”
      Joshua offered a light-hearted middle finger in response.
      Pulev, who has a record of 28-1, is the mandatory challenger for Joshua’s IBF title.
      And the Bulgarian’s co-promoter Ivaylo Gotzev has insisted AJ is not the only one in Beast Mode ahead of the fight.

      “Kubrat is in beast mode, he’s ready to take this man and shred him to pieces.
      “The knockout is coming. You’ve got to be able to take it, not only give it, can he take it? That’s the question.”
      Should AJ get past Pulev, he is set to face the Gypsy King twice next year to unify the heavyweight division.

      LEGENDARY US boxing promoter has called Jarrell Miller’s failed drugs test as being like “attempted murder”.
      For the second time in a year the American heavyweight tested positive for a banned substance and was pulled from a card.

      Miller blew his big chance of becoming a world champion when he tested positive for human growth hormone, EPO and GW501516 ahead of a fight against Anthony Joshua last June.
      ‘Big Baby’ was scheduled to make his comeback in the sport on July 9 against Jerry Forrest.
      But performance enhacing drugs showed up in another test and the bout was pulled.
      Now Top Rank boss Arum, who offered Miller his last chance saloon, has admitted he won’t work with the boxer ever again.

      Speaking on talkSPORT’s Fight Night the 88-year-old said: “It’s very, very hard to deal with stupidity.
      “I look at it this way – if a fighter takes performance-enhancing drugs getting ready to participate in a fight, then I look at it as attempted murder.
      “If he somehow evaded the test, he would go in the ring seriously compromising his opponent and I believe that would be attempted murder.”

      Miller escaped a ban for the Joshua fight doping because he was not registered with the New York Commission.
      But Arum and Top Rank kept him out for a year as punishment.
      But this time around the Nevada State Athletic Commission will be dealing with the punishment with a long ban highly likely.

      Arum, who described the 31-year-old as “stupid”, added: “It’s up to the commission to determine the penalty.
      “And I believe that it’ll either be multi-year or life.
      “If he isn’t banned for life, then I believe it’ll be a multi-year suspension.
      “And if you’re asking me if I’d continue my contract with him, the answer is, ‘Not in your life.’
      “Jarrell Miller will never fight on a Top Rank card.”

      The laughing and smiling heavyweight champion gave the fans the middle finger as he made his way inside Opium Beach Club
      On his way into Opium Beach Club rival fans started singing ‘There’s only one Tyson Fury’ at the Watford superstar.
      After posing for selfies with fans Joshua laughed at the chant and offered a light-hearted middle finger in response.
      He then made his way inside the club with his pals.
      AJ is heading for a showdown with rival Fury in 2021 – but first both have dangerous fights they must get through.

      Joshua will face Pulev, his IBF mandatory challenger, with the Gypsy King taking on Deontay Wilder for a third time in December.
      Both Joshua and Fury have to win to meet each other for what will be one of the biggest fights ever.
      Some belts may have been stripped by then, with Oleksandar Usyk the mandatory challenger for the WBO strap and Dillian Whyte waiting for his chance at the WBC belt.
      Although money has been agreed, with the superstar pair agreeing a 50/50 split, there are still many hurdles to get through before the fight is made.

      Meanwhile, Joshua has called on the world’s elite athletes to form a “union” and use their platform in the fight against racism.
      The world heavyweight champ is admired and respected for his charity and community work across the country, as well backing Black Lives Matter.

      “I think an individual trying to make a change is a lot more difficult than a union of people trying.

      But Tyson’s old school mate – and former heavyweight world champion – Bowe is eager to be the man he returns for.
      Bowe, 52, told SunSport: “If the fans want to see me fight again, I’m fighting. I want to make fans happy.
      “Equally, I want to be remembered as one who did everything to truly make boxing great.

      “I want to get out there. This is the perfect time, I believe, and I’m very excited to fight again.

      Bowe continued by saying it’s Tyson he wants to fight above all else, with Iron Mike tirelessly training for his own comeback.

      The pair, separated by just two years in age, went to the same school and grew up in the same Brooklyn neighbourhood.
      Fans would have loved to have seen the duo clash during their heyday, but a number of factors never led to it materialising.
      During Bowe’s prime, Tyson was in jail for rape.
      And by the time he was released, Bowe’s best days were behind him as his old pal went in search of regaining the world heavyweight title.
      But Big Daddy would love to take on the ‘Baddest Man On The Planet’ right now.

      Bowe claimed: “We went to the same school. We knew each other quite well.
      “We started off fairly close being in the same neighbourhood, but then wentdifferent directions as our boxing developed.
      “Of course, we both made it and became the world heavyweight champions.
      “I am very excited I want to fight Mike now… I will fight him any day of the week – whether it’s an exhibition, or even a pro fight.”
      Bowe has been locked in talks with Eddie Hearn about a fight with Anthony Joshua, with the American veteran keen “fight anybody”.
      Despite that, it is Tyson he craves, continuing: “I will fight anybody.
      “I will fight Evander Holyfield, or Mike, Klitschko or even Tyson Fury. I’m open to Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua.
      “My manager has been talking to Eddie Hearn but Eddie has not got back to him.
      “But it’s Mike I really want to fight.”

      Even though Tyson has been the one making headlines for his eagerly-anticipated comeback to the ring, Bowe claimed he was already plotting a return of his own.
      Despite his desire to fight Iron Mike, Bowe says it would be “beneath himself” to make an offer to him, insisting Tyson must come to him.
      Bowe revealed: “I was already planning a comeback. I’ve not reached out to Mike but I am.
      “The reason I haven’t yet is because he’s getting offers from all over and I don’t want this to be just another offer.
      “I don’t want to be in the crowd. I’m serious and I’m waiting for everything to die down a bit.
      “But I’m sure Mike knows I’m interested in doing a pro fight.
      “I can say now that officially I am going to fight again. I am on a comeback now. That’s for sure.

      “Mike has to reach out to me; I’m not going to reach out to him right now.

      But Bowe, who once lost all his money, won’t accept anything less than “$1million or $2m” to fight… because he’s better than Tyson.

      But Fury, proud of his humble roots, has swapped them all out for the “iconic British vehicle”.
      Speaking to the camera, Fury is seen crammed into the tiny, original model MINI Cooper in high spirits, with kids in the back.
      Tyson gleefully said: “Hello there, everybody. Just thought I’d drive around Morecambe in my new car.
      “Taking in the sights in a real iconic British vehicle… the MINI Cooper. Cherry red.”

      With a cheeky wink and a thumbs up to the camera, Fury whizzed off to explore his hometown.
      Football stars N’Golo Kante and Bruno Fernandes have famously driven around in MINIs in recent years.
      The on-fire Portuguese star even took his for a spin to training on Friday.
      But both Fernandes and Kante drive the modern, bigger, BMW-owned MINIs you see so often on the roads today.

      Fury, though, has opted for the original, super-small, retro model.
      The classic MINI is enjoying something of a renaissance among old school car lovers.
      But even then, the 27-year-old vehicle goes for this side of £10,000.
