Tyson Fury’s amazing six meal a day diet including CURRY which helped body transformation ahead of Joshua fight

TYSON FURY’S phenomenal body transformation is down to a diet of six meals a day including a wholesome CURRY.
The WBC champ lost 10st for his win over Deontay Wilder and will need to be in similar shape for his mouthwatering clash against Anthony Joshua.

    7

Fury got in shape with his diet after snapping up UFC chef and Conor McGregor nutritionist George Lockhart.
The naturally gifted 6ft 9in ex-unified champ has always appeared to play fast and loose with the science of the sport.
Friend and camp manager Timothy Allcock was also his personal cook ahead of his first fight against Wilder in December 2018 and peanut butter chicken was on the menu almost every night.

Fighting man Fury showed little interest in the diet fads and micro meals that come in and out of fashion among fighters and celebrities.

But he has handed over the pots and pans to former US marine and MMA fighter Lockhart to get in shape – and stay there.
Lockhart makes salmon cakes with spicy jalapenos, cilantro and Greek yogurt dressing for Fury.
The expert cook even managed to make brussel sprouts look appetising in one social media post.
Fury’s tastebuds would have been left tingling by Sriracha honey salmon laid out on a bed of quinoa and Greek rice and skewered chicken with tzatziki sauce was probably a big hit for the fighter.

The heavyweight boxer is encouraged to wolf down Dijon, maple syrup, and greek yogurt dip with flaxseed lavish, black bean brown basmati puree, spinach, lemon juice, wrapped and seared with prosciuttoCredit: Instagram

    7

Tyson Fury has previously hired in his own artisan butcher to load up on meat before fights
Team Fury were purring over a dish of strawberry and mango salsa with tomato and cilantro rice and chilli bean shrimp patty.
And the once 28st food lover was allowed to pig out on a stunning pork dish of apple and cranberry stuffed loin with butternut squash, quinoa, walnuts, and spinach and topped with a citrus avocado vinaigrette.
With Fury’s intense training leading to a calorie deficit, he would have been boosted by a meaty serving of dijon maple syrup seared wild salmon with rosemary, garlic, roasted sweet potatoes, and tomato, spinach and bean chilli.
Lockhart even manages to make cauliflower appetising by jazzing it up with hummus patties with cilantro lime shrimp and rice, with macadamia nut, avocado, cilantro, lime sauce.

Lydon Arthur retains Commonwealth light-heavyweight title after dominating Dec Spelman to keep Anthony Yarde bout alive

LYNDON ARTHUR put on a backfoot boxing masterclass to outpoint Dec Spelman and secure his post-lockdown battle with Anthony Yarde.
The Manchester ace put his 16-0 record and Commonwealth light-heavyweight title on the line at the BT Sport studio, knowing a shock loss would cost him a big-money meeting with Yarde once fans are allowed back in The O2 arena.

The Manchester brawler was too good for Dec SpelmanCredit: Round ‘N’ Bout Media
Scunthorpe slugger Spelman promised to chase the 29-year-old all over the Stratford ring and apply pressure he could not handle.
But ice-cool Arthur never looked like getting out of second gear and handled a hand injury to cruise to victory.
After the judges scored it 116-113, 116-112 and 119-109, Arthur said: “It was hard, he said he would be tough and do the 12 and he did.
“I hurt him a few times and hurt my right hand on his head so I just boxed the 12 rounds at a high pace.

“I give myself a seven out of 10, I think I could have got him out of there but I didn’t want to tire myself out.
“My message to Anthony Yarde is ‘let’s go, let’s get it on’”.

    3

Spelman set the pace as soon as the bell rang, holding the centre of the BT Sport studio ring and doubling up his jabs.
The 28-year-old slipped outside a number of Arthur’s early jabs and should have taken the opener from the judges.

But Arthur was more accurate and malicious with his jab in the second, whipping it up and out from his hip and covered up when Spelman steamed in.
Although throwing fewer punches, Arthur’s lackadaisical-looking digs were cutting into Spelman’s eyes and busting his nose by the time of the third.
Spelman landed with a left hook a minute into the third but Arthur wobbled more through imbalance than pain.
And the undefeated champ scored with a scything right uppercut that sliced up through Spelman’s guard in the final minute of the session.
Arthur’s back-foot boxing and pinpoint punching was proving the difference in quality between the two 12st 6lb fighters.
Arthur spent the sixth showboating, floating around the ring and dangling out gangly arms to leave himself unguarded but Spelman could not capitalise, instead the champ continued slashing the challenger’s raw cheeks.
Arthur was regularly backed into corners but was ice-cool in seemingly tricky situations and was masterful at catching and countering.
A thunderous straight right and left hook from Arthur snatched the round back after Spelman had made the busier start.

Roy Jones Jr thinks Mike Tyson, 54, is ‘still just as dangerous as ever’ despite not fighting for 15 years

ROY JONES JR believes heavyweight legend Mike Tyson is still “as dangerous as ever”.
Iron Mike, 54, will lace up the gloves for the first time in 15 years after signing to face Jones, 51, in an eight-round exhibition.

    2

Roy Jones Jr, 51, believes heavyweight legend Mike Tyson is still ‘as dangerous as ever’

    2

Tyson, 54, will fight for the first time in 15 years
Jones, a four-weight champion, only retired in 2018 aged 49, giving him an edge in form.
But the American great has warned not to expect ring rust from Tyson, despite his years of substance abuse in and inactivity retirement.
Jones told ESPN: “Mike is still just as dangerous as ever.
“The only thing about it is, you’ve been out of this sport for so long, it’ll be hard for him to go a full 12-round bout and sustain this.

“Yet he’s still good, he has his speed, he still has his power, he’s still highly explosive, so he’s still a dangerous guy.
“It’s going to be dangerous for all eight rounds. You’ve got to be ready to protect yourself because that’s Mike Tyson.”

Tyson has been training since March after announcing plans to make a sensational comeback and has dramatically transformed his body.
But the reformed Baddest Man on The Planet has been warned by the California State Athletic Commission – who sanctioned the bout – to control his aggression.

Under exhibition rules, Tyson and Jones have been told not to go for knockouts and will wear 12oz gloves, but no head guards.
Still, Jones expects the once feared puncher Tyson to revert to type if he smells blood and knows he cannot afford to switch off in the ring.
He said: “For me, I know how to have fun in the ring and try to make it the best that I can make it.
“But at the same time, Mike knows one way. It’s like playing with a pitbull pup. He’ll play, but he’ll get lost because all he knows is, go at it.

Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev could be held abroad but Eddie Hearn insists bout will happen in 2020

ANTHONY JOSHUA could be forced to face Kubrat Pulev behind closed doors – or even abroad.
Promoter Eddie Hearn had hoped to stage the mandatory title fight at the O2 Arena in front of a reduced crowd at the end of the year.

    1

Anthony Joshua could be forced to face Kubrat Pulev behind closed doors or even abroadCredit: AFP or licensors
But after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced fans will no longer be permitted to attend pilot events this weekend, following a rise in Covid cases, Hearn’s masterplan took a hit.
Fearing spectators being allowed back into venues may be further backdated, Joshua will not wait around.
And while being ruled out of fighting at Hearn’s Matchroom ‘Fight Camp’ due to winter weather, taking the show on the road or in private have emerged as likely options.
Hearn told The Mail: “There’s a very strong chance that AJ will now have to fight in this kind of closed-doors environment as well.

“Our plans are not waiting for the crowds, they are to advance the sport by any means necessary.
“He won’t fight in the Matchroom garden because it is December and the weather is a factor, but closed doors is possible.

“If the situation with no crowds develops, we have to be ready for that if it is what is presented to us.
“He will definitely fight this year whether it is closed doors or not.

“We are not ruling out going somewhere else because there will be territories that are Covid free and this situation is moving.
“Other countries will want to say they are open for business and a great way to do it is staging the heavyweight championship.
“The focus is still the UK.”

Floyd Mayweather blasts Conor McGregor for ‘dance boy’ comment in racism row and rules out rematch with UFC star

FLOYD MAYWEATHER has hit out at Conor McGregor for comments perceived to be racist during the build-up to their 2017 boxing match.
Three years on from their world-famous fight, Money, 43, has reignited his war of words with the Irish former UFC star.

    3

Mayweather has hit out at McGregor for comments perceived by many as ‘racist’ in 2017Credit: AP:Associated Press
In the build-up to their Las Vegas showdown, Notorious used the words “monkeys” and “boy” in a way which was construed by many as being offensive.
During one press conference, Mayweather broke out into a dance – with McGregor saying: “Dance for me, boy.”
In another pre-fight interview, McGregor was asked who would win in a fight between himself and Rocky Balboa from Rocky III.
Attempting to remember which movie that was, he – after a brief pause – replied: “Rocky III?

“I’m trying to remember which one was Rocky III. Was that the one in the celebrity gym?
“I can’t remember if that’s the one with the dancing monkeys or not.”
In Rocky III, there is no scene with “dancing monkeys” – which prompted some people to assume McGregor was referring to scenes in which black fighters sparred at Apollo Creed’s Los Angeles gym.
“Monkey” has long been regarded as an insult when aimed at black people.

Meanwhile, “boy” – when used in the way in which McGregor did – has serious racial connotations.
Historically, Caucasian-Americans would use the term “boy” to belittle African Americans.

    3

McGregor and Mayweather took part in a boxing match in 2017Credit: Getty – Contributor
At the time, McGregor, now 32, hit back at the accusations, calling them “f***ing ridiculous”.
McGregor added: “[I was asked] would I beat Rocky, and I said ‘what Rocky?’
“And he said Rocky III, and I was like ‘Is Rocky III the one with the gym with the circus and the monkeys?’
“Because he had a specialized gym built that was like a circus, a celebrity circus, there was clowns, there was all this kind of stuff.
“That’s what I meant by that.”
But, looking back, Mayweather appears in no mood to forget – particularly with a light being shone on racism especially brightly in recent months following the death of George Floyd.

    3

The pair exchanged jibes in a war of words in the build-up to the fightCredit: Getty Images – Getty
Referencing the Black Lives Matters movement, Mayweather told World Boxing News: “We all should be equal.
“It’s just like what people are fighting for now [the Black Lives Matter movement].
“Don’t judge me for the colour of my skin and I won’t judge you for the colour of yours.
“When Conor McGregor said disrespectful stuff talking about ‘dance boy’ they called us monkeys, nobody got behind Floyd Mayweather.
    “This is so crazy.
“When it’s racism amongst blacks it’s called colourist.
“So it’s racism amongst people right now.
“That’s why every day when I get up I am happy because I did it for myself and for my children.
    “I made sacrifices.”
Mayweather went on to rule out ever fighting McGregor – or old rival Manny Pacquiao – ever again.

Roy Jones Jr brands Mike Tyson ‘a pitbull puppy who gets lost in his mind’ and expects rival to ‘go for it’ in fight

ROY JONES JR has sparked a war of words with veteran rival Mike Tyson by branding him a “pitbull puppy.”
The pair of boxing legends, who have a combined age of 105, step inside the ring for an exhibition bout on September 12 in California.

    3

Mike Tyson was branded a ‘pitbull puppy’ by Roy Jones Jr

Iron Mike hasn’t fought since 2005 while Jones Jr’s last scrap was just two years ago.
And Jones Jr needed little encouragement when asked how is he going to approach the fight against his unpredictable opponent.
Reported by Mundo Deportivo, the 51-year-old said: “I know how to have fun in the ring, trying to do my best, but at the same time I know Mike.

“Mike is like a pitbull puppy.
“He gets lost in his mind and the only thing he knows is’ I’m going for the fight’, that’s the only thing he knows, going for the fight.
“I have to be prepared for what Mike does. I want to box and have a fun time and put on a good show for people too.
“He’s not the type of person who’s going to go out and do that. All he knows is to go and try to take his head off.”

Tyson won 50 of his 58 career scraps with 44 of those coming as knockouts.
And after getting himself back into extraordinary shape, Tyson appears in no mood to go easy on his opponent.
Tyson revealed he has lost five stone to make his eagerly-anticipated comeback and is now training at 220 pounds, or 15.7st, putting him comfortably below the level Anthony Joshua last fought at.
He is in such good shape, that ex-trainer Jeff Fenech believes Tyson would still beat hard-hitting American Deontay Wilder today.
He told Sporting News: “Boxing’s not the same now. I’d guarantee that if Mike Tyson trained for six weeks, he’d knock Wilder out in a minute.
“He would hit them. If these guys are getting knocked out by Tyson Fury – who’s a great fighter, but not a huge puncher – Tyson would kill these guys.
“They’re not on the same level today.
“Mike today, I reckon if he trained he could still beat these guys.
