Logan Paul calls out YouTubers for $10,000 wrestling match as fans hit back over his ‘staged videos and pranks’

LOGAN PAUL has called out influencers on social media as he offered $10,000 (£7,637) to anyone that can beat him in a wrestling match.
It is unclear whether the 25-year-old wants to take part in an amateur contest or a professional meeting inside the ring.

$10,000 to any influencer who can beat me in a wrestling match
    — Logan Paul (@LoganPaul) August 10, 2020

Paul – known to be a huge fan of WWE – boasts an impressive amateur background having participated in the sport in high school.
He even qualified for the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I Individual Championships in 2013.
Since then he has been involved in two boxing fights – both of them against fellow YouTuber KSI – with their first fight ending in a draw.
For their rematch, the duo turned professional, with KSI edging out his rival on points.

And Paul has tweeted he is eager for another fight to happen, only this time in wrestling.
He tweeted: “$10,000 to any influencer who can beat me in a wrestling match.”
Fans were quick to poke fun at his challenge, as one quipped: “Isn’t wrestling staged, just like all your videos and pranks?”

Former WWE star Elijah Burke then responded to Paul, as he commented: “I’ll put $15,000 against your $10,000, wrestling OR boxing.”

Legend Mike Tyson reveals he once KOed a garbage man with ‘titanic right hand’ for putting favourite pigeon in the bin

HEAVYWEIGHT legend Mike Tyson once revealed he knocked out a bin man after he threw his pet pigeon in the bin.
Iron Mike managed 50 wins throughout his career with 44 knockouts but one punch, in particular, stands out in his memory.

    4

It came when Tyson, who will make his boxing comeback against Roy Jones Jr later this year, was just ten-years-old when he lost the first love of his life… a pigeon called Julius.
The 54-year-old had just been forced to say goodbye to the bird after it sadly passed away.
But before he could hold a proper memorial, a bin man noticed Julius lifeless on a crate and disposed of him.
Speaking to World Boxing Council, Fury revealed: “One morning I woke up and found my favourite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honour him.

“I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher.
“I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold.”

Inside icon Floyd Mayweather’s bizarre training regime including running back from nightclubs in jeans and 4am workouts

FLOYD MAYWEATHER has, and always will, play by his own rules.
Throughout his career the icon has adopted a unique style of working out in the early hours of the morning.

    11

    11

He believes it gave him a psychological advantage over his rivals – they slept while he trained.
Mayweather, unbeaten in 50 pro fights, shunned the usually strict regime most boxers followed during training camp and instead would head to the gym whenever he felt like it.
On other occasions, his workout would be so spontaneous that a night out on the Las Vegas strip would turn into an opportunity to clock miles of road work – whether he’s dressed for it or not.
In a 2005 NBC documentary, uncle and former trainer Roger said: “He’s a freak to train. If he’s anywhere – be a restaurant, a nightclub – he’ll get up and start running.”

Mayweather added: “Fighters, they’ve got a regimen, they’ve got a schedule, that’s not me.
“I stay up late, I run with Timberlands on, with jeans on, T-shirt, whatever I’ve got on, I’ll run.”
DeMarcus Corley, who Mayweather beat in 2004, revealed: “You never know when Floyd’s ready to work.
“I mean, you can leave the house and go to the party, and after the party, he’ll go to his trunk, slip on some shoes and just start running.

“You’ll be like, ‘We just left the club!'”

    11

Mayweather would sometimes run straight after leaving a nightclub

    11

The boxer trains in an empty gym in the early hours of the morning
Mayweather would train up until 4am and would not wake until 2.30pm the next day, before returning to the gym for his boxing sessions which included sparring, pads and bag work.
Zab Judah was an opponent of Mayweather’s in 2006 but nine years later got brought in as a southpaw sparring partner before Floyd beat Manny Pacquiao.
Judah recalls training sessions lasting FIVE HOURS before then running up to ten miles, only to be woken up in the middle of the night by Mayweather to do it all again.
He told VladTV: “The way he works is different.
“He put the work ethic on top of being talented. I had a chance to work with him for the Pacquiao fight and got to see how he trained.
“We’d pull off four or five hour gym sessions, right from the gym session, leave there and then go for a run for ten miles. I was like ‘This motherf***er is crazy!’
“We’d go home and lay down and he’ll call you again, like two or three in the morning and say ‘Yo, what’s up, let’s go running’.
    “He outworked everybody.”

    11

    11

Zab Judah says Mayweather trains up to five hours straight
Even in retirement Mayweather puts in the work in the early hours of the morning, recently training alongside protege Devin Haney.
And the 21-year-old lightweight has opened up on how 40-minute long pad sessions keeps Mayweather in top shape – meaning the door is always open for a comeback.
Haney told iFL TV: “As of now we haven’t spoken about that. I mean is he in shape to come back? Of course!
“You know we trained for so long, we go 30, 40 minutes on the pads straight.
“Is Floyd ready to come back, could he come back? Of course. I think just because of his IQ and how much IQ he has I think he could come back.
Mayweather’s unorthodox training methods were documented in HBO’s 24/7 and Showtime’s ‘All Access’ pre-fight series, which gave fans an inside look into the boxer’s camp.
But his one restriction was there could be limited filming of his sparring sessions.
Mayweather’s former training partner Dmitriy Salita, now a promoter, has lifted the lid on what went on during these secret spars and revealed the black eye he was given by the ring legend was treated like a “trophy”.

Salita told EsNews: “It was four minute rounds with 15 seconds breaks in between. I didn’t know how tough it was until I got in the ring with him.
“Floyd gave me a bit of a black eye, and I fought ten days later and still had it a little bit but everyone said ‘Floyd did it’ so it was a bit of a trophy.”
Mayweather – who cut no weight when fighting at welterweight – also enjoyed a unique diet.
Before beating Marcos Maidana in 2014, he shouted in his gym: “I drink soda, I eat pizza, I hang out with chicks all day, and these fighters still can’t beat me.”
And true to his word, in an open workout before Mayweather fought UFC star Conor McGregor, he sipped Pepsi from a cup in between hitting the speed bag.
During the week of the fight, the UFC’s Embedded series showed the legendary counter puncher eating a Burger King, as Mayweather joked he had to beef up for the bout.
He said: “Burger King baby, what’s up? I’ve gotta eat Burger King, keep that weight on. I’m so scared of Conor McGregor.
“I just want to say thank you Dana White, for bringing that b**** to the table.”
After Mayweather stopped McGregor in seven rounds and officially retired, he was not seen in his Vegas gym for some time.

Tyson Fury warns Deontay Wilder he won’t wait for trilogy fight and will move on in boost to Anthony Joshua

FRANK WARREN has stated that Tyson Fury will not wait until 2021 to face Deontay Wilder for a third time as he will instead target a new opponent.
The 68-year-old has claimed that the Gypsy King has been left frustrated after reports emerged that his trilogy bout against the Bronze Bomber could be pushed back until February.

Warren declared that Fury just wants to have a fight this year, and should a bout with Wilder fail to materialise, he will look to arrange a domestic dust-up against Anthony Joshua.
This is despite the WBC declaring that the winner of Fury vs Wilder has to fight mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte before a showdown with AJ can take place.
Speaking to BT Sport, Warren has commented on the rumours that Fury won’t get it on with Wilder until early 2021.
He said: “I spoke to him this morning. That ain’t happening. He’s [Fury] fighting this year.

“He doesn’t want that, and I don’t want it for him, and he certainly doesn’t want it. He wants that fight [against Wilder] to happen this year by hook or by crook.”
Before adding: “Obviously, you want to fulfill his contractual commitment, but he’s NOT going to wait until February. That can’t happen.
    WILD CLAIMS
“I was quite frustrated when that came out. I was unaware of it. It came out of the blue, but he doesn’t want it, and we don’t.
“He said to me, ‘I want to fight this year,’ so that’s my job to make sure that he fights this year.”

Warren then confirmed he wants Fury to face Joshua should he fail to fight Wilder, with the two Brits understood to have a two-fight deal agreed for next year.
Commenting on who his preference would be, he said: “Anthony Joshua. What’s the fight that everybody wants to see?”
“I don’t want to hear about Dillian Whyte or all these guys. The fight that everybody wants to see. That is the fight.

Grinning Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora meet up in London as Gypsy King learns he’ll have to fight Dillian Whyte

TYSON FURY grinned as he met up with old rival-turned-pal Dereck Chisora in London.
Chisora, 36, who twice lost to 31-year-old Fury, posted a video online with the WBC heavyweight champion.

    1

Tyson Fury grinned as he met up with old pal Dereck Chisora in London
The video comes following the news Fury will have to fight Dillian Whyte, 32, if he beats Deontay Wilder, 34.
Whyte also has two wins over Chisora on his run to becoming the WBC’s mandatory challenger.
Should he defeat Alexander Povetkin, 40, on August 22 it sets him up for a world title shot.
Fury is contracted to a third fight with Wilder, which was targeted for December but could now be moved to early 2021.

It further delays an undisputed title decider against Anthony Joshua, 30, who faces Kubrat Pulev, 39, in his next defence.
Joshua also faces a heavyweight headache with Oleksandr Usyk, 33, mandatory for his WBO belt.
But Usyk is still due to face Chisora after the coronavirus pandemic KO’d their May headliner.
Chisora hopes an upset win over the former cruiserweight king would land him a showdown with Finchley Amateur Boxing friend AJ.

Scotland’s Traynor replaces Armenian Vahram Vardanyan
But after 31-year-old Armenian Vardanyan was unable to travel to London, promoter Frank Warren announced Scotland’s Traynor, 33, is the confirmed replacement.
Frampton revealed management company MTK predicted potential problems in his opponent flying over and already had a backup plan.
He said: “MTK, foreseeing there could be problems, have been paying a kid to train for the past three weeks. Which is good management.
“So hopefully he gets accepted and we can have a fight.

“But it has been a total disaster.”
Traynor is 16-3, losing only to Juli Giner, James Tennyson and Ryan Walsh.
Frampton was in line to jump to super-featherweight and challenge WBO champion Jamel Herring, 34.
But his shot at becoming Ireland’s first ever three-weight champion now rests on when he will be able to challenge in front of a Stateside crowd.

Mike Tyson will weigh almost THREE STONE more than Roy Jones Jr when boxing legends meet for exhibition match

MIKE TYSON could weigh as much as THREE STONE more than rival Roy Jones Jr when the veterans face off later this year.
Jones Jr revealed he was aware of the chasm in weight between them but wouldn’t let that stop him from entering the ring with The Baddest Man on the Planet.

    2

Tyson has signed to box Roy Jones Jr over eight-rounds

    2

Jones Jr could have a three stone weight disadvantage
Most of the focus ahead of their exhibition fight has been on their age, with Tyson now 54 and Jones Jr 51.
But it seems that weight could be another major factor when they meet in California.
Jones told The Luke Thomas Show on SiriusXM Fight Nation: “His people called me. They said, ‘give us a call’ – so I called them back. They said: ‘Tyson might want to do an exhibition fight and he wants you as the opponent’.
“I was like, ‘wait, he wants me?’

“So, I said let me see if we can do this. Let me think about it and let me talk to my family. Let’s see what happens.
“We started talking and eventually we signed what I consider to be a decent deal for the fight. They called me back and said let’s hit it and I said alright.
“It’s never been hard to make a fight with me. If you wanna fight I’m ready. I am one guy that you can say it’s never been hard to make a fight with.
“I’m fighting Tyson at 30 or 40 pounds (weight difference) because he said he wanted to fight me. But I’m never going to say no.

“I am fully retired but am not saying no to Mike Tyson.”
While Tyson will weigh in the heavier of the two former champs, the difference in size might have been much bigger.
