Watch as struggling Amir Khan is forced to tap out in ring after being given a masterclass by MMA ace Muhammad Mokaev

AMIR KHAN may be a former unified light-welterweight boxing world champ but he looked a far cry from a title-holder when he attempted MMA.
The 33-year-old tested his wrestling abilities when MMA’s Muhammad Mokaev rocked up to his gym in Bolton.

Amir Khan failed to put up a fight against Mokaev

The boxing star struggled to get out of Mokaev’s grip

Mokaev, who fights out of Manchester, uploaded a video of the pair scrapping on the floor of a ring.
It shows the 20-year-old wrapping his body around Khan’s preventing him from moving.
He then wraps his legs around Khan’s waist while using his arm to get the helpless boxer in a headlock.
After a few seconds of attempting to free himself, Khan decides to call it a day by tapping out.

Although he took it all in good spirits as he had a huge grin on his face while climbing back to his feet.
Mokaev, who has won his only two MMA fights, was eager to show his success off to fans and uploaded the video to social media with the comment: “Brother, please stay boxing.”
    Khan just simply responded: “Haha.”
Khan’s next fight has yet to be arranged despite talk of taking on Brit rival Kell Brook.

The two boxers have been trading insults for years, and a straightener in the ring seems further away than ever.
Khan signed a three-fight deal with Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn at the start of 2018 – with the third of those set to be the long-awaited clash against Brook.
But he told iFL TV this month: “[He] keeps avoiding the fight in different ways, you know, instead of verbally saying ‘I don’t want to fight you.’
“He’s avoiding it by moving up in weight. By moving up in weight he shows he doesn’t want to fight me.”

Watch as Floyd Mayweather roller skates inside his stunning mansion dancing to retro music with pals

FLOYD MAYWEATHER showed off his stunning mansion and silky dance moves with a tour of his house – on roller skates.
With classic retro tunes pumping in the background, the boxing legend was joined by pals as he darted around his home.

Floyd Mayweather threw some shapes for a social media clip

    4

The boxing legend was loving life on the roller skates

However, at the very start of the Instagram Live clip, 43-year-old Mayweather nearly stacked it as he turned on the marble floor.
Bedecked in a maroon tracksuit, the American laughed the slip off and skated around his front room to a remix of Mr.Cheeks’ 2001 hit Lights, Camera, Action!.
He then headed through a long hallway into a dining area, squeezing past a piano to arrive back into the main area.
At one point, Mayweather leaves his mates to roll through a kitchen with a huge seating area attached.

Despite being the centre-of-attention showman in the ring, he happily handed the spotlight over to a couple of pals during this video, who showed off their impressive roller moves.
Mayweather last fought in August 2017, achieving a 50-0 career record with a tenth-round stoppage of UFC icon Conor McGregor.

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury still planning on 2021 fight to unify heavyweight belts despite Covid’s financial strain

ANTHONY JOSHUA and Tyson Fury’s dream all-British heavyweight unification fight is still planned for next year.
IBF, WBA and WBO champion AJ and the WBC title-holding Gypsy King have agreed financial terms for two fights in 2021.

Both men first have to come through defences that have yet to be decided on.
Joshua looks set to face Kubrat Pulev while Fury is waiting to discover when his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder takes place.
Despite the pair’s agreement for two clashes, a number of problems have arisen through the financial impact of the coronavirus.
But Top Rank president Todd DuBoef says there remains a “gravitation to to bring the titles together” sooner rather than later.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the boss of Fury’s US-based promoters said: ”There is a gravitation to bring the titles together, and that would be Joshua and Fury.
“Obviously we would have loved to do that before the end of this year, but for the pandemic.
“I don’t think anybody is wavering from that objective.
“Both guys have great personalities, they can fight, and it is overdue. Let’s get it done.”

DuBoef added: “It would be the biggest fight in the history of the UK, for sure.
“In order to be a really big fight you have to have a large gate; for example Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao did $70m at the gate.
“I don’t know what the world will look like in spring 2021.
“What will the economics look like? We need to see how things change.

Dillian Whyte’s rematch with Alexander Povetkin set for November 21 as Brit eyes swift revenge after shock KO loss

DILLIAN WHYTE has a date for revenge against Alexander Povetkin with a fight scheduled for November 21.
Whyte will have the chance to avenge his shock KO loss in just over two months’ time.

The Body Snatcher was dropped by his Russian opponent in the fifth round of their encounter last month.
Whyte, 32, had the upper hand in the fight having sent Povetkin to the canvas TWICE in the previous round.
But the heavyweight contest came to the most dramatic of conclusions when Whyte was sparked out with a single, devastating uppercut.
The WBC’s No1 contender for over 1,000 days quickly exercised his rematch clause.

And even in the post-fight media was urging Eddie Hearn to get the rematch on before the end of the year.
He will be desperate to avenge his first loss since 2015 – a win second time round would return him to the position of WBC mandatory challenger.
Whyte insisted he has ‘never been more excited’ for a fight ahead of the rematch with Povetkin.
The Brixton Banger has already shared videos of himself back in the gym this month after taking a minimum two-week rest following his defeat.

Danny Williams finally retires aged 47 amid health concerns after up-and-down career which saw Brit knockout Mike Tyson

BRITISH boxer Danny Williams has finally thrown in the towel on a 25-year career in the ring.
The 47-year-old endured the 29th loss of an 84-fight career on the weekend, falling to Sergei Kharitonov in Russia.

When contacted by the Mail, Williams stated that he was retired from boxing.
The Brixton-born fighter won his first 15 fights as a professional but lost his first shot at the British and Commonwealth titles to Julius Francis in 1999.
Finally claiming the heavyweight belt later that year, he lost to Turkey’s Sinan Samil Sam in a European title fight in 2003.
Williams was then plucked from relative obscurity to fight Mike Tyson.

Iron Mike was far past his best in their 2004 match-up but could still count on being the favourite for the Kentucky brawl.
A famous fourth-round knockout victory made the Brit a household name although he later admitted to being “embarrassed” to beat Tyson when he was so far past his prime.

The victory earned him a fight with WBC champion Vitali Klitschko – but the Ukrainian made short work of Williams in Las Vegas.
His career was far from over though, with another Commonwealth belt claimed via a split decision win over Audley Harrison in 2005.

Fighting at staggering frequency, he lost 15 of his 17 recognised pro fights between 2011 and 2014.
Earlier in the year, Williams even put his name forward for Mike Tyson’s long-awaited comeback.

Roy Jones Jr ‘is going to get seriously hurt’ by Mike Tyson in exhibition fight, warns old rival Danny Williams

MIKE TYSON is going to “seriously hurt” Roy Jones Jr in their comeback bout.
That is the opinion of Danny Williams, who famously shocked the world by beating Iron Mike in 2004.

    2

Turns out Williams knows a thing or two about ill-advised returns to the ring.
The Brixton-born brawler, 47, was hammered by MMA heavyweight Sergei Kharitonov in worrying scenes last weekend, after his foe was joined on his walk to the ring by a live bear.
Williams duly retired for good after the fight but not without warning Jones Jr, 51, of his fate in the November 28 exhibition.
He said: “I think Roy is going to get seriously hurt. He is a natural middleweight.”

Tyson is no spring chicken himself at 54 despite his amazing body transformation, and many fans have expressed concern both are fighting again at a combined age of 105.
However, Jones recently explained how he has faced and overcome bigger battles than this.
The American said he had suicidal thoughts in his younger years.
Jones Jr told the Mail: “Yes it’s true. It was because of the pressure from my father.

“And I said, ‘Well, if I’m doing it, because this is how you want me to be, you want me to succeed at something, but it’s part of the process then I got to stay and keep up’.”
Jones Jr also insists he is now a “killer” and ready to do some damage, adding: “Nothing wrong with my father’s parenting skills, because my father wanted to prepare me to be the best at what I do.
“And to do that you have to separate parenting from… you had to bring me up as a killer at a certain age.

“And guess what I’m a killer. Any rivals they got to go.
“And when you’re doing it, you create a competition, because everything you do is competition.”
And, shoving Williams’ words back down his throat, Jones Jr says he can win despite being the underdog.
He added: ““Chances? I don’t have chances, I win.”

Dillian Whyte to face Alexander Povetkin in blockbuster rematch in London in late November after shock KO loss

Dillian Whyte suffered a shock KO defeat to Alexander Povetkin last month

The 32-year-old had twice floored Povetkin in round four but was dramatically stopped in the fifth following a perfect left uppercut.
Whyte’s first loss since 2015 marked the end of his run as WBC mandatory challenger.
He was in line to face champion Tyson Fury, 32, next year but will now need to enact revenge on Povetkin to win back his right to fight for the title.
Whyte has now declared that his rematch with the 41-year-old will officially be announced on Tuesday.

Tyson Fury has mural of himself smashing Deontay Wilder in rematch plastered on gym wall as trilogy fight motivation

TYSON FURY has commissioned an incredible mural of himself smashing Deontay Wilder for his gym ahead of the third and final fight of their hotly-contested trilogy.

Now, ahead of the final instalment of their brilliant trilogy, Fury has shown off the mural in his gym to provide an injection of motivation every time he grinds away in training.
The mural was completed by Liverpool-based artist John Culshaw, with Fury thrilled with the result, sharing a short video on his Instagram story.
Fury commentated the clip, proudly boasting: “So I’ve got me mural done, in my gym; the Tyson Fury Foundation.

The trilogy fight between Fury and Wilder is set for December 19 at the new 65,000-capacity, £1.5billion Raiders Stadium in Las Vegas.
And the showdown could even have fans in attendance despite coronavirus, with promoter Bob Arum confident of having around 10,000 to 15,000 inside the stadium.

Fury’s US promoter told ESPN they are pushing to fill almost a quarter of the new arena in the audacious plan.
Arum said: “That’s what we’re moving ahead on, on all fronts, with the security, with the virus, and everything.
“We’re talking with everybody here in town, with the Raiders.
“So we’re optimistic that we’ll be able to do the event in Nevada, in Las Vegas.”
