Watch as Mike Tyson is hit 20 times before brutally KOing Reggie Gross with one devastating punch

Tyson landed a perfectly timed left hook on Gross

The KO came after Iron Mike bobbed and weaved as 20 shots fired at him.
But he perfectly timed a lead hook that left Gross, now 58, out for the count.
Tyson was just five fights and five months from the night he beat Trevor Berbick to become the youngest heavyweight champion of all time, aged 20.
The vintage clip of his KO against Gross has now resurfaced, with the 54-year-old nearing his sensational boxing comeback.

Tyson faces Roy Jones Jr, 51, in an eight-round exhibition on November 28.
It will be his first fight since hanging up the gloves in 2005.
During his 15 years in retirement Tyson never once trained, and revealed he was in bed for a WEEK after his first session back.
But after months of transforming his body and rediscovering his form on the pads, trainer Rafael Cordeiro claimed he is returning better than ever.

And the coach even believes the reformed Baddest Man on The Planet could challenge for the world title again.

Top 10 boxers of all time revealed with Floyd Mayweather Jr No1, Muhammad Ali down in fourth and Mike Tyson OUT

FLOYD MAYWEATHER has been named the greatest boxer of all time.
The retired 50-0 king is ranked miles ahead of great rival Manny Pacquiao in second place in the table from respected boxing site BoxRec.

    2

The 10 best boxers of all time according to BoxRec

Mayweather, 43, from Michigan, USA, never lost during his 21-year professional career and his ranking at the top of the pile is another jab at the Filipino.
Muhammad Ali, arguably the greatest sportsman ever, comes in fourth, behind Argentina’s legendary Carlos Monzon.
Here, SunSport runs down the top ten – a lucrative list even the likes of Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Roberto Duran and Rocky Marciano could not make.
    1. Floyd Mayweather
MONEY held multiple world titles in five weight classes and is not only regarded as one of the greatest defensive boxers ever but the most accurate.

Forbes listed the 5ft 8ins champion as the highest earning athlete in the world from 2012 to 2015.
    2. Manny Pacquiao
The only active boxer on the list, Pacquiao, 41, is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing.
A current senator in his native Philippines, Pacquiao demolished Oscar De La Hoya into retirement in December 2008, obliterated Ricky Hatton in May 2009… but lost to Mayweather in the Fight of the Century in 2015.
    3. Carlos Monzon
The Argentine playboy died in 1995 and held the undisputed middleweight championship for seven years and recorded 59 knockouts during his career.

However, he has been largely banished from the annals of boxing after he was sentenced to 11 years in prison for killing his wife Alicia Muniz in 1988.
    4. Muhammad Ali
No one touches ‘The Greatest’ for cultural, social and political impact.
His boxing record may well have been even better, too, had he not lost three years of his career after refusing to fight in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1970.
The image of Ali standing over a battered Sonny Liston is one of sport’s most iconic and his Thrilla in Manila win over Joe Frazier in 1975 the most famous boxing fight ever.

    2

    5. Sugar Ray Robinson
Robinson’s performances at lightweight, welterweight, middleweight and light heavyweight were so seminal that they prompted journalists to create the ‘pound-for-pound’ rankings.
He only lost 19 of his incredible 174 fights and was the first boxer ever to win a belt five times. He died in 1989.

    6. Bernard Hopkins
‘The Executioner’, 55, was famed for his power and ability to pick opponents off on the counter.
He held multiple world titles at middleweight and light heavyweight and credited his mastery of the fundamentals as a reason for his career lasting 28 years.
    7. Joe Louis
The ‘Brown Bomber’ was heavyweight champion from 1937 to 1949 – a period in which he defended his title 25 times.
More than that, he is widely regarded as one of the first black athletes to achieve the status of national hero in the US. He died in 1981.
    8. Archie Moore
‘Mongoose’ is the longest reigning world light heavyweight champion of all time.
He held the crown from December 1952 to May 1962 and though he had a great chin which could take a pounding, he was respected as a highly strategic and defensive pugilist. Died in 1998.
    9. Oscar De La Hoya
At the time of his retirement in April 2009, De La Hoya, now 47, was the most popular boxer in the world.
He won ten world titles in six divisions and started boxing at the age of five, but is now a successful businessman having founded Golden Boy Promotions.
    10. Julio Cesar Chavez
The Mexican competed from 1980 to 2005 and was a multiple world champion in three weight divisions: super featherweight, lightweight and light welterweight.
Chavez, 57, holds the record for the most successful defences of world titles at 27 and, before his first professional loss to Frankie Randall in 1994, had gone on an 87-fight win streak.

Tyson Fury predicts outcome of Anthony Joshua fight with Oleksandr Usyk… but thinks pair will never meet

TYSON FURY reckons Oleksandr Usyk would beat Anthony Joshua – but he can’t see the fight going ahead.
AJ is due to fight Kubrat Pulev before his mandatory bout against Ukrainian hardman Usyk.

Joshua, 30, has also agreed to take on the Gypsy King twice next year.
But he will have to vacate his WBO title if he swerves the fight against Usyk, 33, to face Fury.
Fury, 32, has called for his rival to “forget the belt” and set up an all-British showdown.
The unbeaten heavyweight told Behind The Gloves: “All this ‘undisputed’ bulls***, I’m not really too convinced about it.

“I’ve won every belt there is to win and having another stack of belts that I already own don’t really mean s*** to me.
“Rather than fight all these mandatories that he’s got, I’d say just vacate those belts and fight the fight that everybody wants to see.
“I ain’t running from you, I don’t care about you, I’ll go through you like a hot knife through butter.
“So come and fight the big boys, step up to the plate and get knocked out. Then go and fight all those easy guys.

“No disrespect to Oleksandr Usyk, great fighter, cruiserweight world champion, probably going to be a heavyweight champion if he fights Joshua in the meantime.
“But listen, don’t take my retirement cheque baby, don’t do it.
“I said to Wilder years ago, I said, ‘Don’t take my retirement fund, do not fight Joshua, he’s mine. He’s my countryman, I’m having him, I’m breaking him in’.
“But it didn’t happen, he got broken in by an unlikely suspect.
“Yeah, [I believe Usyk would beat Joshua] they fight.
“But I bet they don’t because why would he fight Usyk and get paid like ten per cent what he can make off the Gypsy King?
“Forget the belt, vacate it, let them boys fight for the vacant belt whoever it is, and then come up and fight big time.

“We’re not in boxing to fight some unknown guys, we’re in boxing to fight the biggest, best fights out there at this level.”
WBC champion Fury is preparing for third and final showdown with Deontay Wilder.
The former car salesman is set to face the Bronze Bomber on December 19 at the new Raiders Stadium in Las Vegas.

Tyson faces Jones in an eight-round exhibition in November

The pay-per-view spectacle was shifted from September to November, with Iron Mike continuing to share viral training videos online.
With the power and physical disadvantage, Jones admitted he could well have ‘made a mistake’ by agreeing to fight Tyson.
Briggs, 48, responded by putting his name into the hat to take his place.
He wrote on Instagram: “They say Champ having second thoughts.

“Tag me in Champ! I am from Brownsville too. Never ran, never will. Let’s go champ.”
Jones had threatened to walk away from fighting Tyson after the event was pushed back two month.
But the American great later agreed terms to remain involved.
And he has already started the kidology by insisting Tyson is the favourite going into the bout.

UFC legend Michael Bisping blasts ’embarrassing’ video of Ryan Garcia confronting YouTuber Jake Paul with fight contract

UFC legend Michael Bisping blasted an ’embarrassing’ video of Ryan Garcia confronting YouTuber Jake Paul with a fight contract.
The pair – who had struck up a friendship and even filmed videos together – traded words on Twitter.

    3

A video emerged of Ryan Garcia confronting YouTuber Jake Paul with a fight contract

It came after Garcia, 22, responded to shock news Logan Paul, 25, could box Floyd Mayweather, 43, in an exhibition this year.
He tweeted: “If Mayweather can fight Logan Paul then I’m fighting Jake Paul.”
Paul, 23, responded: “It’s a little too early for your first loss peewee.”
Footage then emerged of Garcia turning up to Paul’s Los Angeles mansion with what he claimed was a homemade contract for the two to fight.

The staged stunt was slammed by former UFC champion Bisping, who tweeted: “Embarrassing.”
But WBO super-featherweight champion Jamel Herring found the lighter side of the video.
Herring responded: “When Ryan said, “I took a long time making that…” I knew it wasn’t legit.”

And despite being constantly linked with a fight against countryman Amir Khan, it seems a title shot at Crawford is next.
The American famously stopped Khan in their fight in April last year.
But Brook is confident he can go one better than his big Brit rival and upset the odds against Crawford.
He told ESPN host Max Kellerman: “Terence Crawford is a hell of a fighter.

“He deserves to be top three pound-for-pound, but I know my ability, and I know what I can do.
“As I said, I would fight Terence Crawford in his backyard. Inside that squared circle is home for me.
“It doesn’t matter where the fight is. I’ve got the self-belief, I’m very strong, and I know what I can do in there.
“He boxed a guy, Ricky Burns, from England, that he couldn’t stop.

Julio Cesar Chavez Sr to fight on same card as son at age of 58 as boxing legend eyes showdown with Oscar De La Hoya

BOXING legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr is back in the ring this weekend at the age of 58.
Mexico’s former three-weight world champion will fight countryman Jorge Arce, 41, in a four-round exhibition bout in Tijuana.

    6

Julio Cesar Chavez Sr is back in the boxing ring at the age of 58

    6

It will be a family affair as Julio Cesar Chavez Jr also fights on the same card as his old man

It will be the third time the two warriors have fought in charity bouts after their respective careers ended.
And Arce brings his own legendary status to the ring too – he is Mexico’s only ever five-weight world champ.
It will be a family affair on the DAZN USA show.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr will take on Mario Cazares in the main event, looking to bounce back after being battered by Daniel Jacobs in December last year.

But it’s likely there will be more excitement to see father in the squared circle than son.
Chavez Sr had a stunning boxing career, securing 107 wins from 115 fights, with six defeats and two draws.
His fearsome punch power led to him collecting 85 stoppages along the way.
He held multiple world titles across three weight divisions – featherweight, lightweight and super-lightweight.

Chavez Sr stayed in the sport after retiring in 2005 and currently coaches his son.
An impressive display at the weekend could lead to him getting a shot of revenge against old foe Oscar De La Hoya.

Dillian Whyte losing to Alexander Povetkin in rematch would be ‘terminal’ for his world title ambitions, says Hearn

DILLIAN WHYTE has been warned by Eddie Hearn that a second defeat to Alexander Povetkin could be “terminal” for his world title ambitions.
The British heavyweight ace, 32, was KO’d by the 41-year-old Russian last month.

But Whyte has the chance to exact revenge in a rematch on November 21.
Whyte had been the WBC mandatory challenger before his defeat to Povetkin.
Winning the rematch is sure to reinstate him as No1 to face Tyson Fury while also securing the WBC interim title.
But promoter Hearn claims that a second defeat to Povetkin is sure to spell the end of Whyte’s chances to face The Gypsy King.

Hearn told Sky Sports: “All of a sudden, the pressure is not just on trying to become the mandatory and fight Fury.
“This is the pressure of his career on November 21.
“Controlling the fight, a brutal knockout, and all of a sudden like that, his career spins on its head.
“He’s hugely motivated to put this right, but it’s extremely dangerous and of course, moving into the rematch, just 13 weeks after the first fight is very, very dangerous.

“But Dillian Whyte wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I think [defeat] is terminal for his world title chances – and that’s obviously the ultimate aim for him. I think he knows the pressures.
“He was deeply disappointed with getting knocked out from an amazing bit of skill from Povetkin and he’s got to put that right.
“Povetkin and his team are ready to go. They don’t see a problem. They’ve knocked him out once, they think they’re going to do it again in November.
“A very confident Povetkin, and all of a sudden, all of the pressure lies on the shoulders of Whyte.
“The winner will be WBC mandatory, it’s just when that’s called. I know that Whyte will be pushing that as hard as he can, but it’s just about getting that victory.
“If he gets that victory, his world title shot will come, and really that’s all that matters.”

Tony Bellew says Dillian Whyte will one day lift the heavyweight championship as rematch with Alexander Povetkin set for November 21 More
