Mike Tyson paid fan £6.2m after boxing legend ‘broke their f***ing jaw’ after being hounded for autograph

MIKE TYSON claimed he paid a fan £6.2million for “breaking their f***ing jaw” after being hounded for an autograph.
The American boxing legend, 54, was known for having a short fuse and regularly hit out violently.

Iron Mike got into scraps as a kid and this continued into adulthood, once fighting Mitch Green in the street two years after beating him in the ring.
And he told his Hotboxin’ podcast he often decked fans simply for requesting his signature – then ended up having to pay them off.
Iron Mike said: “I was that guy, trippin’, hitting people because they’re f***ing with me too much for autographs.
“I f***ing knocked them out or would break their f***ing jaw.

“I started signing those cheques and that’s what broke my spirit.
“These guys were getting $4m [£3.1m], $8m [£6.2m], I don’t even know these guys – who are these guys?”
The 50-6-2 fighter previously revealed he gave a trespasser £200,000 after his pet Bengal tiger “f***ed up” her hand so badly.
The former heavyweight king famously kept the big cat as a pet at his home but had to give them up when a horror accident unfolded.

Tyson was never far from the headlines during his controversial career and was nicknamed The Baddest Man On The Planet.
He became world champion aged just 20 – holding the record as the youngest heavyweight king.
At the high of his career in 1992, Tyson was convicted for the rape of Desiree Washington and sentenced to six years in prison.
He was also charged with assault in addition to three separate incidents involving alleged sexual harassment and sexual abuse.
Tyson – who famously bit Evander Holyfield’s ear during a fight in 1997 – competed in the heavyweight division from 1985 to 2005 but announced his comeback earlier this year.
He is set to face Roy Jones Jr with the pair’s exhibition bout taking place on November 28 in California.

Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh provides positive update on Manny Pacquiao fight and says terms are almost agreed

CONOR McGREGOR’S coach and good friend John Kavanagh has confirmed the fight with Manny Pacquiao has been “agreed”.
On Friday night the UFC legend released a series of tweets claiming he will box Pacquiao in the Middle East.

Then the Filipino confirmed he will fight the Irishman in a sensational clash.
It left boxing fans hoping the two sporting greats were serious about the mouthwatering match-up.
And according to McGregor’s MMA coach Kavanagh, the deal has been done.
Speaking to Boxing Productions TV, the Irishman said: “I do know it’s in the works.

“I believe both boxers have agreed fundamentally, behind the scenes there are a lot of terms and conditions and legal teams and managers to work out the fine details but I believe it will happen.
“I think it might be early next year but the wheels are in the motion and it looks like I’ll be coaching boxing again.
“I’ll play a part but it will be mostly Owen and Phil Sutcliffe, Conor’s long-time boxing coach from Crumlin Boxing. The bulk of the work will be done with those guys but I always have a hand in there.”
McGregor – who recently showed off his extreme new look with a shaved head – was trying to arrange a return fight in MMA following his retirement announcement in June – his third in four years.

But the talks apparently fizzled out and McGregor – recently urged to return to the octagon by rival Justin Gaethje – later tweeted: “Anyway all water under the bridge who gives a fook. I’m boxing Manny Pacquiao next in the Middle East.”
“It will be a true honour to have faced two of the greatest boxers of the modern era, afraid of a fight.”
McGregor previously fought Floyd Mayweather under Queensberry Rules in 2017, and was stopped in the tenth round.
He has been eyeing another dabble into boxing for some time now despite that defeat.
Pacquaio, 41 – known as Pac Man – has now accepted the Irishman’s challenge.

A senator in his native country, he says cash from this fight will go towards the relief effort in the Philippines after Covid-19.
A statement from Pacquiao’s office read: “For the sake of all the Filipino Covid-19 victims, Senator Manny Pacquiao will be fighting UFC superstar Conor McGregor next year.
“The huge portion of his earnings will proceed to those who are affected nationwide by the pandemic.”
Both men have previously fought Floyd Mayweather.
The Pac Man previously took on ‘Money’ in 2015 in one of the biggest-grossing PPV fights in history.
But this was also one of the worst PPV fights ever, with the Filipino struggling to to get anywhere near his best form.

And he showed his supreme power at a Sauerland show out in Denmark.
Hrgovic managed to get his Greek opponent, who was a late stand-in, out of there in the second round.
It meant the Zagreb-born heavyweight, nicknamed ‘El Animal’, moved to 11 undefeated as a professional.
He is also the WBC International champ.

Hrgovic won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics and is ranked in the top ten in both the WBC and IBF official rankings.
His promoters Sauerland uploaded a clip to Twitter of the devastating finish, captioning it: “KO of the year from ‘El Animal'”.
One fellow boxer who thinks Hrgovic will be the next big thing in the sport is Tom Little.
The Brit was stopped in the fourth round by Hrgovic in January 2018 and tasted the Croatian’s power first hand.

Manny Pacquiao will have ‘an easier time against Conor McGregor than he did against Ricky Hatton’, blasts trainer Roach

MANNY PACQUIAO’S trainer Freddie Roach has goaded Conor McGregor by claiming the Filipino would easily knock him just as he did to Ricky Hatton.
The Notorious looks braced to scrap the legendary fighter in a money-spinning boxing match in January.

The epic clash is set to be held in the Middle East with talks ongoing.
McGregor had talked up a return to boxing after announcing he was quitting UFC in the summer – and teased that he was going to fight the Filipino legend.
He tweeted: “Anyway all water under the bridge who gives a fook. I’m boxing Manny Pacquiao next in the Middle East.”
Pac Man has since confirmed the fight will go ahead.

And Roach, the legendary coach to the eight-division world champ, believes it will be easy work for Pacquiao.
He likened it to Pacquiao’s demolition of Brit favourite Hatton when he brutally knocked him out inside two rounds in 2009 to win the IBO middleweight title.
Roach said: “If this is true, Manny Pacquiao will have an easier time with you, Conor McGregor, than when he fought Ricky Hatton.”
McGregor previously fought Floyd Mayweather under Queensberry Rules in 2017, and was stopped in the tenth round.

Mike Tyson opens up on getting woman PREGNANT while in prison for rape and says he ‘had a ball’ behind bars

MIKE TYSON has claimed he got a prison worker PREGNANT while he was in jail for rape.
The American’s boxing career came to a juddering halt in 1992 when he was sentenced to six years in prison after being convicted of rape in Indiana.

But he was released in 1995 after serving less than three years of his sentence.
Now Tyson, who is making a return to boxing at the age of 54 to fight Roy Jones Jr in November, has opened up on life behind bars.
And in an episode of Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, he told presenter Jim Gray how he ‘had a ball’ inside.
He said: “I thought that this was the worst thing that could happen to a human being.”

He described how he felt ‘safe and secure’ locked up.
Tyson then went on to explain a sexual encounter he had in jail with a woman ‘who worked there’.
He added: “I had a girlfriend and I got a girl pregnant in prison. I was living a life in prison.
“It was just meant to be. I was Mike Tyson and everybody gave me what I wanted.

“Everyone talking like I was some tough guy or some cool guy. I was just a pig.”

SunSport previously reported how Tyson received prison visits from rap royalty Tupac and once hit a fellow inmate while ‘upset and miserable’ behind bars.
He told rapper TI: “The guards didn’t like him, the inmates got rowdy and pumped up when he came which is a safety concern.
“He was a bolt of energy there. When he came in everybody knew him, he had mad respect. That’s how he lived his life, he had mad respect.”

The 51-year-old is set to face Iron Mike in an exhibition bout in November

The 51-year-old revealed the pair are both doing VADA anti-doping testing, but insisted he would face Iron Mike in the ring regardless of the results.
Speaking on the RJJ Boxing show on UFC Fight Pass, he said: “There is testing. They came and tested me last week, and they tested Mike last week.
“It would concern you if you were concerned about having advantages. But for me, I’m the kinda guy, I’m old school, you know what I mean?
“I hope you pass the test, but when I turn my attention to you, I want you, I don’t give a damn what you got, I want you.

I hope he passes the test, because without the test we can’t fight, but even if he didn’t pass the test, Roy would still fight

“When I see you like that, I want you, I don’t care who it is.
“I hope he passes the test, because without the test we can’t fight, but even if he didn’t pass the test, Roy would still fight.”
Jones Jr also moved to clear up claims that he refused to face Tyson in 2003 after he beat John Ruiz to win the WBA heavyweight world title.
He added: “Back in the day, I actually wanted to fight Mike. When I won the heavyweight title, that was the only other heavyweight I wanted to fight, Mike Tyson.

Twins Jermell and Jermall Charlo both clinch world titles on SAME night with wins over Rosario and Derevyanchenko

And he and his brother went a nice way toward doing so by clinching their belts on the same night in Connecticut.
Undefeated Jermall extended his record to 31-0 by outpointing Sergiy Derevyanchenko to retain his WBC middleweight belt.
The battered Ukrainian somehow launched a late flurry in the 12th round.
But the wily Jermall weathered the storm to secure a comfortable unanimous decision.

After the fight, he said: “I executed the game plan. It was the biggest test of my career and I passed the test.
“I knew he was going to be tough, and I knew he was going to come to fight.
“I wanted to knock him out and make a statement. But getting through it and getting the decision was a statement in itself.”
Later on in the evening it was Jermell’s turn, as he faced 20-2-1 Dominican Jeison Rosario.

TYSON FURY’S dad John smashed back ten Ferrero Rochers to join his son as a world champion.

In what appeared to be an unofficial attempt at the record set in 2012, John Fury finished his tenth piece of chocolate after 54.94 seconds.
The 56-year-old was chuffed to bits with his champion eating efforts, raising both his hands aloft in celebration before high-fiving his son and coach SugarHill Steward.
He said: “I said I was good at something.
“I’ve won the world title at something!”

And in typical boxing fashion, 32-year-old Tyson even gave dad John a proper introduction after blitzing the existing record of nine with five seconds to spare.
He added: “And the new world record holder Ferrero Rocher from the United Kingdom… John Fury!”
