Mike Tyson claims he bribed cop with brand new Bentley after row with his wife outside Burger King over condoms

MIKE TYSON has sensationally revealed that he once bribed a cop with a Bentley after fearing arrest alongside ex-wife Robin Givens.
Iron Mike, already a world heavyweight champion by this point in 1988, fancied a Burger King so took Givens along to his local chain restaurant.

Things were going swimmingly… until actress Givens found condoms in Tyson’s pocket.
She then stormed out of the fast food joint, heading straight back to Tyson’s Bentley.
And to Iron Mike’s horror, he claims she rammed the car into the vehicle in front.
When a policeman then showed up, Tyson did what he felt he had to do.

Tyson, 54, told Complex News: “In one of the instances, it happened [was] because I was getting ready to get arrested. I offered [the car] to the cop; the cop took it.”
And speaking on what is alleged to be an affair he was having at the time, he added: “So at this particular time, I’m married; I’m married to Robin [Givens]. So, I was hanging out the night before. I’m a young kid; I’m 21.
“This is me just living my life as a champ. I don’t know nothin’; I’m really stupid, but I think I know everything.
“I’m one of those guys [where] I don’t care that I’m a champ, I’m gonna go get a burger at Burger King. So I’m in line to get a [hamburger].

“So I believe [Robin Givens] goes in my pocket, and she pulls out f***ing condoms. Aw, man! Aw, f***! Aw, man! Right outside the [restaurant we go]; we don’t buy s***!
“She gets in the car; the car we’re driving is a Bentley—brand new, that year. I guess, because she’s angry with me or she doesn’t like the car, so she rams the car into the car in front of us.
“The guy’s f***ed up. The cops come. The cops come and they’re asking me questions and stuff. I kind of panic.

That was just me in my tantrum, ‘Take the f***ing car, alright?
    Mike Tyson

“I’m like a Bourgeoisie [person] in my head; I’m thinking that this shouldn’t be happening to me, all this s***. I just go up to [an officer], I said, ‘Listen, sir. Just take the car.’
“That was just me in my tantrum, ‘Take the f***ing car, alright?’”
And as the officer supposedly showed an interest, Tyson knew he was off the hook.
He continued: “When he said ‘don’t tell me that’, I knew I got him. He wants this car! I said, ‘Nah, you work hard; you put your life on the line. Take the f***in’ car!’
“Me and Robin got in a cab and we just took off and went to New York. I [still] got to hear the s*** though [about my condoms]. But that’s really what happened.”

Roy Jones Jr says he will still fight Mike Tyson even if Iron Mike, 54, tests positive for performance enhancing drugs

ROY JONES JR has claimed that he would still fight against Mike Tyson even if his rival fails an anti-doping test.
The two heavyweight legends will face off in an exhibition on November 28.

The 51-year-old is set to face Iron Mike in an exhibition bout in November

The 51-year-old revealed the pair are both doing VADA anti-doping testing, but insisted he would face Iron Mike in the ring regardless of the results.
Speaking on the RJJ Boxing show on UFC Fight Pass, he said: “There is testing. They came and tested me last week, and they tested Mike last week.
“It would concern you if you were concerned about having advantages. But for me, I’m the kinda guy, I’m old school, you know what I mean?
“I hope you pass the test, but when I turn my attention to you, I want you, I don’t give a damn what you got, I want you.

I hope he passes the test, because without the test we can’t fight, but even if he didn’t pass the test, Roy would still fight

“When I see you like that, I want you, I don’t care who it is.
“I hope he passes the test, because without the test we can’t fight, but even if he didn’t pass the test, Roy would still fight.”
Jones Jr also moved to clear up claims that he refused to face Tyson in 2003 after he beat John Ruiz to win the WBA heavyweight world title.
He added: “Back in the day, I actually wanted to fight Mike. When I won the heavyweight title, that was the only other heavyweight I wanted to fight, Mike Tyson.

Bob Arum slams Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight and claims boxing legend would win bout if he was 100 years old

FLOYD MAYWEATHER would still beat Logan Paul if he was ‘100 years old’, according to legendary boxing promoter Bob Arum.
It has been reported that Mayweather is in talks for an exhibition fight against YouTuber Paul.

And while inevitably there would be millions on offer to the pair, the prospect of seeing one of boxing’s best ever fight a social media star has been blasted by many.
This includes Arum, who is Tyson Fury’s US promoter.
Speaking to iFL TV, the 88-year-old was scathing about the prospect of the two lacing up gloves to fight.
Arum said: “Anybody who would pay five cents to watch that fight has to have his head examined.

“Floyd Mayweather, probably if he was 100 years old, it would still be a fairly confident fight.”
Another big name to have recently slammed the fight happening is fellow YouTuber KSI.
And that’s because the Brit thinks Mayweather should fight him instead.
KSI has twice fought Paul, drawing in their first meeting, before beating him last year when the pair turned professional.

And KSI has stated it makes no sense for five-weight world champion Mayweather to return to the ring to face Paul.
He insisted that it would make more sense for the 1996 Olympic bronze medallist to face him instead.
Speaking on his second YouTube channel, KSI said: “This ain’t happening.
“Why the f*** would Mayweather say yes to this? Why would he fight the loser of me and Logan?
“I was A-side for both fights, surely Mayweather would just wanna fight the winner of me vs Logan, it just makes more sense.”

But one former boxing two-weight world champion would be happy to see Mayweather and Paul going toe-to-toe.
David Haye told Sky Sports the 39-year-old said: “I just think it’s fun, it gets people talking. I don’t mind seeing Floyd Mayweather fight YouTubers.
“I wouldn’t want to see Mayweather fighting someone young, undefeated. Why? What’s the point?
“They are younger and fresher, and Mayweather may have slowed down a fraction. He may lose.
“I don’t mind Mayweather fighting, as long as it isn’t against someone who has a chance of winning.”
Mayweather retired from the noble art undefeated in 50 fights, his last victory coming against UFC legend Conor McGregor in 2017.

Conor McGregor threatens to give Pacquiao a ‘volley’ in the face after failing to kick Floyd Mayweather’s head off

CONOR McGREGOR has ranted that Floyd Mayweather ‘deserved a volley to the head’ when the pair fought in 2017 – but is ‘undecided’ as to whether or not to break the rules when he fights against Manny Pacquiao.
The Notorious split fans when he revealed that he’ll be making his fighting return in the boxing ring rather than the octagon, facing the Filipino legend in December or January.

    3

After gushing over his pride in landing a clean first blow against Mayweather, McGregor, 32, then admitted that he wishes he’d taken his head off.
He posted on Instagram: “Really I should have just sat right thru that shot and took his head off and f*** the distance.
“If it didn’t work out just give him a good boot into the neck and get DQ’d and fined and who’d give a f***.
“I’m upset I fully followed the rules for that fight to be honest. Floyd deserved a volley at the least. A shoulder even, break the face.

“Manny not so much tho I don’t think, but I will see how the build up goes and wait to hear what bitter old Freddie Roach has to say and then make a decision. My Whiskeys at half a b and climbing I could take a fine.”
Just prior to revealing his bout with Pacquiao will take place in the Middle East, McGregor had again expressed his frustration with the UFC at keeping him sidelined during most of 2020, after he’d made a winning start to the year against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January.
He tweeted: “I was pushing hard for the season.
“Multiple opponents, multiple dates offered throughout. All to take place back to back.

“Then when covid hit and the talk was that I would have to wait for crowds again, I walked away from the situation. I was waiting long enough at that stage.”
And he has again hit out, calling the decision to ‘hold him back’ as ‘borderline criminal’.

Anthony Joshua to spar Joyce to prepare for Tyson Fury even though he was ‘schooled’ by 30 stone Gypsy King in training

ANTHONY JOSHUA and Joe Joyce will link up as sparring partners again ahead of their respective fights later this year.
The duo – who have shared hundreds of rounds of sparring during their time in Team GB – will aid each other’s preparations for their upcoming bouts.

AJ is set to defend his WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight belts against Kubrat Pulev in December, while Joyce faces British compatriot Daniel Dubois next month.
Joyce most recently sparred with WBC champion Tyson Fury – who he claimed schooled him even when the Gypsy Stone weighed 30 stone.
But according to Sky Sports, Joshua and Joyce will once again share a ring together as they look to be in tip-top shape for their next contest.
Commenting on AJ’s history with the 2016 Olympic silver medallist, Eddie Hearn told Sky: “There’ve been many bruising sessions over the years.

“Joe has been around for many years on the amateur scene.
“When AJ was coming through, Joe was one of the experienced guys and some of their spars have been fantastic.
“Obviously AJ went to another level, but Joe is still an outstanding heavyweight.”
Hearn has also spoken of how he believes Joshua will knock out Pulev, before stopping Fury in their scheduled meeting in 2021.

Anthony Joshua to KO Tyson Fury after ‘steamrolling’ Pulev as he has ‘bad intentions for demolition job’, predicts Hearn

EDDIE HEARN has stated he believes Anthony Joshua will knock out Kubrat Pulev before stopping Tyson Fury next year.
The WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion faces Pulev later this year, with AJ to then to turn his attention towards the Gypsy King.

Both Joshua and Fury have agreed terms on a sensational two-fight deal to take place in 2021.
And Matchroom promoter Hearn has revealed how he is ready to send out a formal contract for the undisputed domestic dust-up.
Speaking last week, he even insisted that such is Joshua’s desire to face Fury, he would be willing to vacate his WBO belt in order to fight his compatriot.
But Joshua must first beat Bulgarian veteran Pulev, though Hearn has claimed AJ will destroy the 39-year-old.

Commenting on the Olympic gold medallist’s bouts against Pulev and Fury, he told Sky Sports: “I actually messaged him and I said: ‘You’re going to steamroll through these guys’.
“He just replied in capitals and said: STEAMROLL!'”
Asked whether he believes AJ wants to knock Fury out, Hearn said: “I think he’d love to. Yeah.
“He knows that Fury is an outstanding fighter and it’s going to be very difficult.

“But you can ask him for yourself, I believe he has bad intentions in those fights and I believe he expects to.

YouTube star KSI, 27, bizarrely claims he could beat Mike Tyson, 54, in fight and so could Logan Paul

YOUTUBE star KSI has stunned fans with his bizarre claim that he could beat Mike Tyson in a fight.
The 27-year-old won via split decision on his professional boxing debut last year against fellow online star Logan Paul.

    3

The YouTube star fancies his chances at beating Mike Tyson ahead of Iron Mike’s return to the ring

The Brit fought the American to a draw in their first meeting, while KSI also beat YouTuber Joe Weller in a 2018 amateur bout.
Iron Mike meanwhile is making a comeback in an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr on November 28 after 15 years of retirement.
The former heavyweight champion last stepped inside the ring in June 2005 – where he was stopped by Kevin McBride.
The “Baddest Man on the Planet” was crowned the youngest world champion ever, aged 20, and his illustrious 20-year career saw him knock out 44 of his 50 opponents.

I actually could though, I actually could. The reason why – age is on my side. Age is on my side. In the first few rounds I ain’t going [all out]
    KSI on Mike Tyson

But despite their vastly different careers and experience, KSI reckons he could hang with the now 54-year-old Tyson in the ring.
Speaking in the latest Sidemen video, he answered: “I actually could (beat him) though, I actually could.
“I’m undefeated, no-one has beaten me.”
KSI’s YouTuber pals reacted with uproar at his statement before asking the Londoner how his former rival Logan Paul would fare against Tyson.

KSI replied: “I think Logan would beat Mike Tyson.”
When pushed to justify his reasoning, he said: “The reason why – age is on my side. Age is on my side.
“In the first few rounds I ain’t going [all out].”
KSI later revealed that his coach – highly rated cruiserweight prospect Viddal Riley – texted to say he wouldn’t last against Tyson.
He joked: “Viddal said, ‘Nah, man.’
“He said, ‘You’d have to survive three rounds of three minutes, then possibly.’”
Fans on social media were less forgiving of KSI’s prospects, with one tweeting: “I hope he is joking about mike tyson cause that’s just ridiculous.”

Another said: “Mike Tyson 100 years old, on a walking stick dismantles KSI with one hand.”
A third added: “Sidemen’s recent video has KSI saying — with quite a lot of confidence — he can beat Mike Tyson in a bout. I think I’ve consumed too much internet for the day.”
A fourth reasoned: “Did Mike Tyson ever beat anyone on the level of a Prime Logan Paul? KSI would wipe him out now tbh.”

“He came to see me when I was in prison. He used to come visit.”
Tupac was actually ringside for Tyson’s victory over Bruce Seldon on September 7, 1996 hours before he was gunned down in Las Vegas.
