Tyson Fury tells Anthony Joshua to ‘grow a pair’ and fight him in DECEMBER in behind-closed-doors UK battle

TYSON FURY wants Anthony Joshua “to grow a pair of balls” and finally fight him in a behind-closed-doors UK battle.
The Gypsy King has been training throughout lockdown – up to five-times-a-day at the start of the pandemic – but his Deontay Wilder trilogy fight has been repeatedly postponed.

COVID-19 has the December 19 Las Vegas showdown with the Bronze Bomber on the ropes so Fury – who lost 30 months of his brilliant career to a doping ban and mental breakdown –  has ordered his Brit rival to glove up and save his sanity.
Fury told talkSPORT: “I will be fighting in December either against Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas or Joe Bloggs.
“I have made it very clear that if we cannot fight in America then I want a homecoming in the UK and I don’t care about a crowd.
“I am about one-hour from going AWOL unless I get some good news.

“Tell AJ to grow a pair and step up to fight in December. If Wilder doesn’t happen then let’s get the AJ fight in December.
“If Wilder doesn’t happen in December then I will step in and smash Anthony Joshua into next week.”
AJ is supposed to defend his WBA, IBF and WBO titles against Kubrat Pulev in early December.
But Fury has offered him the chance to fight him instead and tried to goad him with a string of insults about his boxing ability and heart.

The WBC champ said: “I saw him get knocked out by Andy Ruiz Jr and then go back to his corner and jack it in.
“I don’t think the rematch performance was a masterclass, that rematch was like watching paint dry.
“I have been in loads of dog fights and won them all, he has been in one and got beat.
“Joshua is not man enough for me. Have you ever seen a knife go through butter before?
“I knock AJ out in three rounds. How would he get out the way of me? Is he fleet footed enough to get away from me?
“I would cut him down in two, it is not about tactics, it is about balls, guts and determination and I have those in abundance.
“Once this fight gets made I will show you what to do with a bodybuilder like that, you cut him in two.
“He jacked against Ruiz and he will do it again, once you have quit once you will quit again.”

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder trilogy moved from December 19 date due to NFL and could be pushed forward to earlier date

PROMOTER Bob Arum has announced Tyson Fury’s trilogy bout against Deontay Wilder will not take place on December 19.
The 88-year-old – who handles the Gypsy King’s affairs in America – has revealed that the loaded college football schedule has played a part in the decision.

    2

And Arum has also stated that two NFL games are due to take place, leaving them with no choice but to reschedule.
Fury’s third fight against Wilder is set to take place at the Allegiant Stadium – home of the Las Vegas Raiders – who face Los Angeles Chargers on December 18.
Speaking to ESPN, Arum said: “We’re moving off [December 19] because there’s five conference championship games that day and night, plus two NFL games.
“So we can’t go with the 19th. We’re looking at other dates right now because ESPN advised us, and Fox advised the PBC [which promotes Wilder].

Arum then stated that the trilogy bout could be staged “a little earlier in December”, with Top Rank planning a card on December 12 that features Miguel Berchelt against Oscar Valdez.
Arum added: “We’re looking at the schedule – PBC, FOX, ESPN and us – to pick a date.”
Despite the new date being discussed, Arum also insisted that the venue will not be changed.
He said: “It’s definitely Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders are on board, the city is on board, the convention authority is on board. Everybody is on board.”

Mike Tyson’s classic car collection includes Rolls-Royces and custom Ferrari after claims he bribed cop with BENTLEY

AT the peak of his boxing career, Mike Tyson was collecting pay cheques in the tens of millions.
Ruthless ‘Iron Mike’, who destroyed all in front of him in the 1980s and early 90s, was said to have amassed a fortune of £200million from the sport – before blowing it and declaring bankruptcy in early 2003.

Mike Tyson has driven some of the world’s most luxurious cars

Having made around £200m from boxing, Tyson blew his cash on expensive motors

But before he was deep in debt, and wasn’t buying incredible homes and ruling with a cannabis empire, he was adding to an extensive car collection.
Tyson, who will fight Roy Jones Jr in November, spent money on some of the world’s most exclusive motors throughout the years.
And he even once bribed a police officer with a Bentley after fearing arrest alongside his ex-wife Robin Givens.
He enjoyed brands like Rolls-Royce, Ferrari and McLaren – as luxurious cars became his go-to, before he had to auction them off to raise cash and pay off the tax man.

    AMERICA’S FAVOURITE LIMOUSINE
Tyson began his assault on the heavyweight division in 1985, gaining notoriety in the ring as an 18-year-old.
With 19 wins (all by knockout) to his name at that point, he bought a stylish Cadillac Eldorado.
More money flowed, and soon after longtime trainer Cus D’Amato passed away he rewarded himself with a Cadillac Seville.
If Tyson had kept them, these vintage motors would still be worth a few bob. Some, in good condition, can get up £20,000 on the market today.

The first Tyson car bought when he made it was a Cadillac Eldorado

His fondness of the Cadillac brand led Tyson to then by their Seville model
    ROLLS-ROYCE LOVE IN
Nothing screams luxury more than a Rolls-Royce.
So, when Mike won the WBA title – defeating James Smith in 1986 – he walked straight into a Manhattan garage and asked a salesman for the keys to one.
However, his manager Jim Jacobs had other ideas – whispering in his ear to wait till he was 21.
Tyson did just that – returning the day of his seminal birthday to buy a blue Rolls-Royce Silver Spur for around £110,000.
Then, after destroying Tony Tucker and adding the IBF belt to his midriff in 1987, he went for a Rolls-Royce Corniche worth £150,000.

    DON KING
Knowing he had the ‘Golden Child’ of boxing in his roster, promoter Don King was desperate to keep him sweet.
To thank his client for his hard graft in becoming the most feared fighter on the planet, he gifted Tyson TWO cars in 1988.
King added a black Rolls-Royce stretch limousine that would’ve set him back around £165,000.
He also gave Tyson another Corniche.
Aged 22, Tyson had four Rolls-Royces sitting in his garage – worth over half a million.

    MERCEDES-BENZ AND TUPAC
As the 80s became the 90s, Tyson began making friends in the showbiz world, attending glitzy Hollywood parties and enjoying his new-found fame as the ‘baddest man on the planet’.
One of those pals, Tupac Shakur inspired his next impulse buy.
Thanks to the rapper, who reportedly owned one, Tyson threw cash at a white 1989 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 560SL.
A few months later Tyson’s world came crashing down – when a shock loss to James ‘Buster’ Douglas in Japan stunned the world in 1990.
That summer though, he cheered himself up with a 1990 Mercedes Benz 500 SL that had a must-have accessory of its time fitted within its interiors… a mobile phone.

    FERRARI, HERE I COME
After he was sent to jail for a rape charge, serving three years behind bars, Tyson fought Frank Bruno and regained his WBC title in 1995.
With his purse, he took himself to a Ferrari dealership and bought TWO of their supercars – a Ferrari F50 and a 456 GT Spyder.
His GT Spyder was only one of two convertibles made by the Pininfarina factory –  the other was ordered by the Sultan of Brunei.
Famously, Tyson did crash one of these Ferraris into a convenience store, which led to his “favourite arrest.”
“My favourite arrest I would have to say is when I bought a Ferrari,” he recalled.
“I didn’t know how to drive the Ferrari and my car went through the glass window.”
He added, “I had to get arrested for property damage.”

In 1995 Tyson bought two Ferraris with the purse he earned from beating Frank Bruno, including this F50

The 456-GT Spyder was a rarity, only Tyson and the Sultan of Brunei had one
    LAMBORGHINI AND BENTLEY
In 1996, Tyson bought his first ever Lamborghini – a yellow Super Diablo Twin Turbo with the prize money earned from defeating Bruce Seldon in Las Vegas.
Again, it softened the blow of losing a friend – Tupac – who was shot dead in a drive-by shooting after attending that fight.
In-between his epic bouts with Evander Holyfield, he went back to luxury motors – buying a Bentley Continental T.
But with his bank account swelled by a £23m purse he eventually received for the Holyfield disqualification defeat he recklessly blew his wad.
A 2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster and the Jaguar XJ220 were added to his car collection.
He also splashed around £380,000 on a Bentley Continental SC – one of only 73 of its kind.

Sadly for him, it was his motors – with many sold on auction, while others can be found in celebrity museums today.

Boxing fans set to return for first time since coronavirus pandemic for Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz title fight

Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz will have around 11,500 fans in attendance

The Athletic claim it has been pushed back a week to be held with fans at San Antonio’s Alamodome stadium.
Boxing in both America and the UK has so far been without live crowds since the coronavirus crisis began.
But with a limited capacity allowed to return in Texas, Davis’ US PPV fight against Santa Cruz has been shifted.
The Alamodome has a 72,000 capacity, but it is claimed only 11,500 will be allowed to attend.

UK promoter Eddie Hearn had hoped to have supporters return in restricted numbers this month.
He applied to the Government for a pilot event, after his Matchroom Sports banner held a snooker tournament with 300 people present in August.
But after No10 limited social gatherings to no more than six people, the proposal for sports fans to return was pushed back.

Fincham will fight on the same bill shared by the super-middleweight tournament between Zak Chelli, Diego Costa, Charlie Schofield and Ben Ridings.
The 26-year-old won 18 of his 26 amateur bouts representing Eltham ABC, and last boxed quietly two years ago.
He will debut as a light-heavyweight with four scheduled rounds.
Fincham has now linked up with Tyson Fury’s former trainer Ben Davison, ahead of his move into the paid ranks.

SunSport will be following Fincham’s journey from Spanish villa back into the ring in a six-part series on our YouTube channel every Wednesday.
Fincham said: “I am not doing this for the money.
“Obviously I will get paid but I grew up in the sport and know there are easier ways to make a living.
“I know all about the weight cutting and 6am runs and sparring beatings so this isn’t a novelty to me.

“The biggest shock to my system will be giving up crisps – even more than a night out, it’s not normal how much I eat them.”

Conor McGregor accused of ‘lying’ about Manny Pacquiao fight after UFC star deletes announcement poster

CONOR McGREGOR deleted a poster announcing a fight with Manny Pacquiao and was accused of lying about the event.
Both the Irishman and Pacquiao confirmed they are in talks for a boxing match, which McGregor claimed would take place in the Middle East.

But Ali Abdelaziz, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, said a Saudi Arabian contact forced The Notorious to take down a post on Instagram.
The mocked up poster, which says McGregor, 32, will fight Pacquiao, 41, in Saudi, has now been deleted.
Abdelaziz tweeted: “Is funny how’s this Liar posted a photo him and Pacman Fighting in Saudi Arabia ?
“I was talking right now with my friend from Saudi Arabia and he told me Conor and his team got 3 hours to take this post down and guess what he did like a little b**ch It was all fake zero Truth.”

UFC president Dana White, who insisted he had ‘no idea’ about talks progressing for McGregor to face Pacquiao, backed up Abdelaziz’s claim.
White told Barstool Sports: “I don’t know if you just saw, but the Saudi’s went after Conor.
“They basically said, it’s a lie that fight is happening and you better take that down in the next 15 minutes or we’re going to sue you.
“He took it down. You don’t see the poster anymore about him and Manny.”
