Tommy Fury fight LIVE RESULTS: Love Island star WINS with brutal round two KO as opponent Krajevskij requires oxygen

TOMMY FURY has recorded an impressive win on his return to the ring against Genadij Krajevskij.
The Love Island star dominated the fight throughout and produced a brutal right uppercut knockout just before the end of the second round.

Lithuanian Krajevskij was left requiring oxygen in the aftermath of the fight but was thankfully able to walk away from the ring.

    ‘I’M LEARNING ON THE JOB’
Tommy Fury was impressed with his display as he knocked out Lithuania’s Genadij Krajevskij in the second round.
He said: “At the end of the day I just needed to ease into it as I’ve been out of it a year.
“I started putting shots together and felt comfortable.
“I’ve had no amateur experience and I’m learning on the job.
“It’s a long road, but we are going to get there.

    FISTS OF FURY
Here’s that brutal right uppercut KO from Tommy Fury again…

    HEFFRON HORROR
Denzel Bentley needed only two rounds to inflict terrible damage on Mark Heffron and a few more to secure the British title win…

    CHAMP
Bentley said: “It feels great. I join the likes of Terry Downes by going from the Fisher amateur club to British middlweight champion.
“I knew I hurt him with the right hand to the eye. All week I told everyone I would stop him.
“I knew, if I held my ground, that he would not be able to stand with me.
“I want another title, another belt next. Get me another one!”

    WELT-ER WEIGHT
That eye was too bad to carry on…

    EYESORE
Oldham hardman Mark Heffron was on course to slug away for 12 rounds for the vacant middleweight title.
But he overextended a right hand and was countered by razor-sharp Denzel Bentley.
The second-round ping did not look concussive but the wound that grew of Heffron’s eye was gruesome and the ref had to call it off.
The Lonsdale belt moves from Liam Williams to Bentley…

    ALL OVER – BENTLEY WINS
Denzel Bentley wins after clobbering Mark Heffron’s eye utterly closed and purple and bloody.
Bentley becomes British middleweight champion by outboxing the dangerous Oldham banger.
Heffron was not hurt or wobbled – from the second-round blow – but he was utterly blinded by the counter punch and did well to last three more rounds.
Excellent boxing here. A new British champion is crowned.

    ROUND FOUR
Bentley plays with his stances at the start of the fouth, knowing his prey is wounded badly.
Heffron covers up and retreats to the ropes after another banging.
Bentley is oozing confidence while Heffron remains a dangerous beast on the counter.
The South Londoner can edge away with more and more rounds. This is another in the bank.

    ROUND THREE
Heffron’s eye is horrendous, has his corner told him to go for bust?
Bentley lands another right hand to put the Oldham man further on the back foot.
Heffron must be so concerned with guarding that growing welt over his cheek.
It’s a purple and bloody pulp that will act as a magnet to Bentley’s two heavy hands.

    ROUND TWO
Bentley catches most of Heffron’s shots at the start of the second.
The Londonder lands a counter right after Heffron over-extended with a jab to the body.
Bentley has whacked a bloody swelling into Heffron’s left eye.
It’s a horrible bulbous growing bulge of a welt over Heffron’s cheekbone.
This will get called off soon unless Heffron’s corner can perform a miracle.

    ROUND ONE
Oldham’s Heffron has only lost to the brilliant Welshman Liam Williams.
Bentley, 25, is undefeated after just 13 wins.
The Battersea man is guided by Martin Bowers, who is guiding Daniel Dubois rapidly toward a heavyweight world title.
Bentley looks to counter off Heffron’s jab but Heffron lands a couple of left hooks that will give the judges headaches.

    FUGEES!
Yes Mark Heffron from Oldham. Proper banging tune. Ready or not? Here I come, you can’t hide.. Gonna find you, and make you want me…
Denzel ‘2 sharp’ coming out at the BT Sport studios now.
Heffron is the banger, Bentley is the switch-hitting boxer… what a rematch!

    BRITISH TITLE NOW
Mouthwatering middleweight action now as Denzel Bentley and Mark Heffron rematch after their summer draw,
The September original was a classic and Welsh banger Liam Williams has dropped the Lonsdale belt in the meantime so it’s up for grabs now.
Heffron is the dangerous Northern banger. Bentley is the South London boxer coming up the Peacock Gym way.
    You split them!

    DUBOIS V JOYCE
David Haye keeps it simple: “Joe Joyce has one of the best chins in the business but nobody wants to take those punches.
“Dubois’ confidence is huge but he can rely on it too much or be comfortable in it.
“I know Joyce is experienced. I think Dubois expects Joyce to come at him.
“Dubois needs a big gas tank because I have seen Joe’s in the gym and I know it is there.
“I have a favouite because I have seen Joe do it.”

    FAST & FURIOUS
Tommy Fury is a charming boy who does not blow his own trumpet.
The light-heavy lad is now 4-0 and chugging along nicely.
Hall of fame promoter Frank Warren has told anyone moaning about his easy start to the pro game t gang on his door.
The Queensberry boss is guiding the starlet with kid gloves after zero amateur experience.
    WATCH THIS SPACE!

    HAYEMAKER
Cruiserweight and heavyweight ace David Haye encourages Tommy Fury to fight a couple of times a month and spar as often as possible.
The retired ace hopes the prospect is not rushed.
Fury said: “I needed to ease my way in after a year out.
“I just need more of it and that is the simple answer, I would fight every couple of weeks if I could.”

    PHEW!
Tommy Fury victim Genaddij Krajevskij is picked up and carried off of the floor after his second round KO.
The young light-heavyweight sibling of Tyson shows off more skills by handing the journeyman his 12 consecutive loss.
Fury is now 4-0 and needs to be stepped up to prove his TNT nickname is not just smoke and mirrors.

    ROUND TWO – ALL OVER!
The Love Isand ace needs to register harder rounds against stiff opposition and this opener is a decent learning curve.
Krajevskij is a limited but hard man but allows Fury to show his working, after hours in the gym with father Big John Fury.
Fury looks for a lead right uppercut and a hook to the body but the 0-11 stooge stays out of trouble.
The celeb slugger is yet to hurt Krajevskij but has shown a decent improvement in skills after racing to 3-0 against hired bodies.
And Krajevskij is down and out after a monster of a right hand!

    ROUND ONE
Tommy Fury has arrived draped in a white and gold emboidered gown. Dave is wearing a potato sack with arm holes hacked in at late notice.
Fury and Krajevskij weight in just under 13st for the light-heavy clash but Fury looks like a body builder while dave resembles a hod carrier.
Krajevskij has boxed as a middleweight, so is up against it.
Fury has almost no amateur pedigree but oozes genetic promises and is learning on the job.

    BALTIC BOMBER
With all the respect in the world, would anyone mind if we called Genaddij Krajevskij ‘Dave’ from now on?
I mean, the geezer has lost 11 on the spin… I adore journeymen as much as the next man. But he’s no Gennady Golovkin.
Fury vs Dave happens very soon.

    FURY-OUS
Tyson Fury’s promorer Frank Warren confirms the Gypsy King is dealing with the Deontay Wilder trilogy in the courtroom…
Warren said: “I think there will something next week but there is a way to go yet.
“Tyson is training very hard and he just wants to get back in the ring.
“The Wilder rematch was supposed to happen but it was not to be and it expired. Now there is a hearing going on and expected to happen next week.”

    TOMMY FURY
The famous light-heavyweight is up next, looking to kickstart his promising career after lockdown.
The 3-0 Love Island ace wants to step out of brother Tyson’s shadow with is own boxing career.
The little hulk takes on Genaddij Krajevskij – who has not won a single fight in 11 attempts.

    ALL DONE
gyarko said: ” “I prepared for 10 rounds but I wanted to flow and raise it 10 pre cent each round.
“I am used to hurting people and I am used to that but I am training to be more loose.
“Once I have someone hurt I will close the show. I am only 23 and am always learning.”
Agyarko’s trainer Al Smith adds: “We paced him tonight, he is multi-talented and he is growing with every fight,”

    ROUND SEVEN – AGYARKO WINS
Three rounds to go and Agyarko is well in front and starts with a great right hand that stuns Chapman.
The Camden custodian was clipped with a right hand and was wobbled.
A lesser fighter might have relaxed but three left hooks rattle Chapman’s skull and ref Williams rightly dives in to end the contest.

    ROUND SIX
Agyarko is a brilliantly popular boxer but he has failed to shine in his second lockdown bout now.
Chapman is a clever but limited domestic contender but he has kept the Irishman busy and down at his level.
The middlewight prospect is expected to kick on toward domestic titles but he will struggle on his last two performances.
Agyarko will need to up his game dramatically to fulfil his early amateur potential. How will ref Bob Williams score it?

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr: UK start time, date, TV channel, live stream, undercard and rules as legends face off

BOXING icons Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr will go head-to-head in a spectacular exhibition fight.
The 54-year-old Tyson will face Jones, 51, in a long-awaited bout, with the Baddest Man on the Planet dropping an incredible SIX stone to get in shape.

How Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr match up

The California State Commission say the exhibition bout will be fought under the rules that both men will not look for the knock-out and will instead “exhibit” their skills, but both fighters have come out and said the contrary.
When is Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr?
The big fight is now set for Thanksgiving Weekend – Saturday, November 28 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
It was originally set to take place on September 12 but the event has been postponed until later in the year.
The undercard is expected to start at 9pm ET which is 1am GMT and the main event will follow between 4am and 5am GMT.
The legends are set to eight rounds in the ring, with Youtube star Jake Paul and NBA star Nate Robinson confirmed for the undercard.

What live stream and TV channel is Tyson vs Jones Jr on?
BT Sport Box Office will be broadcasting the fight in the UK.
Coverage begins at 8pm ET, which is midnight in UK. The undercard is set to start from 1am GMT.
The social media site Triller will also be airing the PPV fight.
Emmy-winner Mario Lopez hosts the show, and musical acts will be announced for performances too.
Who is on the Tyson vs Jones Jr undercard?
YouTuber Jake Paul leads the way on the four-fight card when he takes on ex-NBA star Nate Robinson.
Elsewhere KSI’s trainer Viddal Riley is also in action as is former super-middleweight champion Badou Jack.

    Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson
    Viddal Riley vs Rashad Coulter

What are the rules of the fight?
The fight will be contested over eight, two-minute rounds.

No headguards will be worn but the fighters will be wearing larger 12-ounce gloves.
Technically the fight can only be stopped if there is a knock-out, but California State Athletic Commission executive director Andy Forster said he will stop it as soon as a cut appears.
Forster said: “Tyson and Jones Jr. won’t be wearing headgear for the fight. They’ll be lacing up 12-ounce gloves and there won’t be any judges present at the fight to score the action. So, technically, there won’t be a winner unless a knockout somehow occurs, or either fighter is deemed unfit to continue.
“They can move around and make some money, but I told them if you get cut, it’s over.”

Roy Jones Jr, 51, last fought only two years ago
    What have they said?
Mike Tyson: “We’re throwing punches at each other. This is going to be my definition of fun … broken eye sockets, broken jaw, broken rib. That’s fun to me.”
Roy Jones Jr: “He’s still Mike Tyson, he’s still one of the strongest, most explosive people who ever touched a boxing ring. If anything, I made a mistake going in with him. He’s the bigger guy, he’s the explosive guy. He’s going to have all the first-round fireworks, not me. I do have first-round fireworks, but he’s known for more first-round fireworks than anybody to ever touch boxing, other than maybe George Foreman.” More

Fury said: “At the end of the day I just needed to ease into it as I’ve been out of it a year.

“I’ve had no amateur experience and I’m learning on the job.
“It’s a long road, but we are going to get there.”

The 21-year-old, who is dating fellow Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, arrived draped in a white and gold embroidered gown for his latest light-heavyweight clash.
Krajevskij arrived as a limited hard man and he allowed Fury to show his stuff early.
Fury landed a right right uppercut and a hook to the body but his foe managed to evade real trouble.
The celeb slugger did not appear to hurt Krajevskij in the first but in the second he exploded into life with a monster right.

Fury, standing alongside his promoter Frank Warren, also declared he wanted to get back into the ring as soon as possible.
He added: “I just need more of it and that is the simple answer.

Unbeaten superstar Crawford, 33, puts his WBO welterweight title on the line in the blockbuster bout over in Las Vegas, and unlike the majority of Brook’s previous fights, this time it WON’T be broadcast on Sky Sports.

How the fighters compare ahead of the huge bout
    When is Crawford vs Brook?
Crawford vs Brook will take place on Saturday, November 14.
The Bubble at the iconic MGM Grand in Las Vegas plays host.
Expect the ring walk at around 4-5am UK time.
What live stream and TV channel is Crawford vs Brook on?
Crawford vs Brook will be live on Premier Sports in the UK, with coverage starting at 12.30am GMT.
Premier Sports 1 is available on Sky TV (412 and 429), Virgin TV (551 and 552) and online via the Premier Player on app and desktop.
Sheffield ace Brook is no longer with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom stable which have a deal with Sky Sports. He is now signed with Bob Arum’s Top Rank.

Kell Brook has won his last three fights since losing against Errol Spence Jr
Who is the Crawford vs Brook undercard?

The big rematch between WBA super flyweight world champion Joshua Franco and former world champion Andrew Moloney heads up the undercard.
Terence Crawford vs Kell Brook (WBO welterweight title)
Joshua Franco vs Andrew Moloney (WBA super-flyweight title)
    More to follow…
Why is Brook not fighting on Sky?
Brook boxed on Sky for most of his career, and even though he has now signed for Arum, he recently revealed his disappointment Hearn failed to get a deal done for it to be shown on Sky.
The 34-year-old had said: “I’ve always been a Sky Sports fighter, been in with Shawn Porter, Errol Spence, Golovkin. I’ve made some amazing nights with Sky Sports.

“The fans, I wanna give back to people that subscribe to Sky Sports, I want my fans to see me fight the pound-for-pound king in Crawford.
“But it’s not come off the way I wanted it to come off so I’m absolutely gutted.”
He also claimed he got Hearn ‘out of jail’ by fighting Triple G in 2016 as the promoter was ‘more interested’ in signing copies of his soon-to-be released book.
However, Hearn has come out swinging in an interview with iFL TV, saying: “I was really disappointed to be honest with you, and I was quite angry.

“I will say this because I do feel like 99 per cent of what was said was total b****cks. I do feel like I should give you the truth.

Terence Crawford defends his WBO welterweight belt against Kell Brook on November 14
“Let’s just start with the Crawford fight and Sky situation – When Amir Khan boxed Terence Crawford, Kell Brook flew out there and he was talking to Top Rank.
“He had meetings with Top Rank probably about that fight and probably about other fights as well which didn’t go down very well with me to be honest with you. I’m an all or nothing kind of guy.
“I was never involved with one conversation they had with Top Rank regarding this fight, no consultation, no opinion from me, no part of the negotiations of the deal whatsoever.
“They chose to do this to all them. Was that because they didn’t wanna pay me? Or they wanted to go their separate way?
“Once you turn your back on me, don’t ever turn round and start walking back to me. You’re either with me or you’re not.” More

Katie Taylor knows complacency is a huge threat – but promises the best is yet to come

KATIE TAYLOR knows complacency is the biggest threat to her incredible boxing career.
Ireland’s Olympic and two-weight world champion defends her lightweight belts against unknown contender Miriam Gutierrez at Wembley Arena.

Taylor’s last three fights have been two sensational battles with long-reigning champion Delfine Persoon, either side of a leap up to grab a super-lightweight title too.
But 34-year-old Taylor knows she cannot take her eye off the ball against Spain’s Gutierrez, 37, who has nothing to lose.
The County Wicklow icon said: “I never get sick of looking at all the belts — it’s something I’ve worked extremely hard for.
“The journey has definitely been more exciting than I could have expected. One punch can change a fight in professional boxing.

“She is an unbeaten fighter and better than people expect.
“Hopefully I will do a bit of everything — outbox her and outfight her.
“There are no easy fights at this stage. This is a huge opportunity for her.
“Complacency is very, very dangerous. I’m ready for whatever comes my way. People haven’t seen the best of me.”

Kell Brook says locking himself away from family and friends will see Terence Crawford face ‘best ever’ version

KELL BROOK believes running away from the bright lights and late nights of Sheffield will help crown him king of Sin City.
The Brit, 34, can become a two-time welterweight world champion by beating WBO boss and pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford.

Kell Brook has taken himself away from family, friends and distractions

Ex-IBF champ Brook admits that, like working-class Manchester legend Ricky Hatton, he has enjoyed his hero status at home a bit too much in between fights.
But the father of three has dedicated himself like never before for his Las Vegas shot at three-weight champion Crawford in the early hours of Sunday morning.
And Brook vowed there will be no hangovers after his showdown.
He said: “People have been writing me off and saying that this is an easy fight for Terence.

“But I have taken myself away from my missus, my daughters, all of my family, to get ready for this and push myself in training camp.
“I have no excuses. At home in Sheffield there are plenty of distractions and sometimes I only start tightening up things too close to a fight.
“This time, for Terence, I took myself away as soon as I knew this fight was on so I could knuckle down. I have only done it to myself to be great.
“My mindset is focused on the job and being positive now because of how I feel, compared to how I have felt before previous fights.

Special K says Terence Crawford is facing the ‘best ever’ version of him

How the fighters compare ahead of the huge bout
“I believe Terence is getting the best version of me ever.”
Brook split with lifelong trainer Dominic Ingle and long-term promoter Eddie Hearn for this showdown, helping him keep a lion’s share of his £1.75million windfall.
The ruthless moves cost him his broadcast partnership with Sky Sports and a few friends.
But he now hopes to leave his new frenemies with egg on their faces.
Brook explained: “I am disappointed that the TV coverage isn’t what it should be in the UK.
“I have been with Sky Sports for years. They have seen me become a world champion and star in thrillers.
“I can see certain people doubting me and calling me out, people I know as well. And they are the people making me want to push on and do an extra round in training and do a little bit more in every session.
“I can’t wait to see them after the fight. I cannot wait to see them when I am crowned champion of the world again.”
Crawford is a brilliant switch-hitting fighter, compared to Sugar Ray Leonard by legendary promoter Bob Arum.
The Nebraska ace, 33, travelled to Glasgow to dominate the fighting pride of Scotland, Ricky Burns, in 2014.
He also battered Amir Khan in New York last April.

The latest Ring Magazine P4P rankings

And Brook believes a shock victory, as unlikely as 8-1 with most bookies, would top the list of greatest wins by Brits abroad.
That would surpass even Lloyd Honeyghan beating Donald Curry and Lennox Lewis vanquishing Evander Holyfield.
He said: “I think this win would be No 1 on that list, because of what I have been through and because Terence is not just a world champion, but the fighter everyone considers to be pound-for-pound No 1.
“But I have done this all my life — this is what I was born to do.”

Evander Holyfield fears Mike Tyson, 54, will gas out after Roy Jones Jr bout and NEVER give him a trilogy fight

EVANDER HOLYFIELD has claimed that his old rival Mike Tyson will gas out in his comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr.
And the ex-heavyweight champion, 54, has revealed his fear that Iron Mike, 54, will NEVER step back inside the ropes to complete their trilogy.

Mike Tyson will make his comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr

Evander Holyfield admitted a trilogy fight against Iron Mike is now unlikely

Holyfield – who twice beat the Baddest Man on the Planet – is training again to return for an exhibition, but is yet to have a confirmed opponent.
Tyson meanwhile is facing Roy Jones Jr, 51, in an eight-round pay-per-view spectacle next weekend.
And Holyfield admitted that his heavyweight rival’s decision to avoid him has squashed any hope of them facing each other for a third time.
In an exclusive interview with SunSport, he said: “You can’t risk the fact Mike chose to fight him first, it should’ve been me first I believe.

“And it’s kind of muddy the waters. My whole thing is if they fight first, I just don’t think there will be a second match with me – my third match with Mike.
“Because it doesn’t matter because there won’t be anything left in Mike.
“The thing is it’s really about what happens performance-wise when we get in the ring – people don’t just want to pay for the sake of it, people want to see something interesting.
“People want to see something and they want to see some competitors, they realize you’re now old but it ain’t about just how much money they going to pay for the trilogy fight.”

You can’t risk the fact Mike chose to fight him first, it should’ve been me first I believe
Evander Holyfield on Mike Tyson facing Roy Jones Jr.

He later added: “I really think that between Mike and myself that I would like to be first, because at our ages you may only get a one shot and never get another shot. I’m 58, he’s 54! I have to be first not the second.”
Holyfield first beat Tyson in 1996, winning in round 11 in what was considered an upset.
They rematched a year later, in the infamous the ‘Bite Fight’, where Iron Mike was disqualified after biting the Real Deal’s ear in round three.
SunSport previously reported that Tyson has been accused of being ‘scared’ to rematch Holyfield having been offered a trilogy bout ‘multiple times’.

When asked for his take, Holyfield said: “Well, my thought is that a person has a choice – you do pretty much what you want to do.
“That’s what he chose: not to fight me but instead fight Roy Jones Jr.
“Someone asked me, “If you thought that you’d lose against Mike Tyson would you still fight him anyway?” I said, “Well, I would never fight if I thought I would lose against Mike, or anyone else.
“I can’t just sit there with that mentality, there’s no challenge there then for me – knowing that you stand a chance to lose.
“I don’t know why he said yes to him (Jones Jr.) but life is about decisions you make.
“When I spoke with Mike about fighting him he pretty much let me know he was doing something with someone else already.
“It’s not like something specific came up initially, but it was the thing with Mike and myself everything came up incidentally.”

When I spoke with Mike about fighting him he pretty much let me know he was doing something with someone else already
Evander Holyfield on a trilogy fight with Mike Tyson

Tyson has already claimed that he is ‘better than ever physically and mentally’ ahead of his November 28 comeback bout with Jones Jr.
Holyfield, who stayed on the fence when asked to pick a winner, did weigh in to admit the conditioning of the two heavyweight icons – who have a combined age of 105 – will be key.
He told SunSport: “Roy Jones has got the faster hands, but Mike has the harder shots.
“It will depend on how good of a condition the fighters are. If they go power to power, I know Mike Tyson has the advantage there and can beat him, but also Roy Jones has the speed and what would happen if he could catch Mike?
“So, either way there’s some advantages on both sides. Mike was more than a street fighter or boxer. Mike was clever.

“I’m one of the only guys that beat him and gave him a hard time. He was shorter than others but he was able to beat 6 ft 3 6 ft 5 guys.
“Mike was a student of the game of boxing. He is someone to a lot of people where you expect the unknown.
“For his size and weight he fought hard and he was terrific.”

Eddie Hearn, promoter: “The momentum of the last few years led by Katie Taylor has been special to watch but we have still got a long way to go.
