Tyson Fury defends treating wife Paris to lavish designer presents as they celebrate 12th wedding anniversary

TYSON FURY has appeared to defend splashing the cash on his wife Paris as the couple celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary.
Paris, who was recently a guest panellist on the hit ITV show Loose Women, uploaded a video of gifts received from her boxing champion hubby.

Tyson Fury and Paris are celebrating 12 years of marriage

These were just some of the gifts Paris received from husband Tyson

Among them were some Thornton’s chocolates and some flowers… alongside a pair of £890 J’Adior Slingback Pumps and some Christian Dior Dway Slides, which retail for £550.
Next to the clip, the 30-year-old mother of five wrote: “Happiness is the secret to all beauty. There is no beauty without happiness.
“12 years married to my best friend, my other half, my soulmate. @gypsyking101 thanks for a great day and the beautiful presents you surprised me with.”

Paris Fury described how she was ‘surprised’ with the ‘beautiful presents’ gifted to her by husband Tyson

Tyson Fury insisted material possessions are not important to him
Most of the comments were positive, with fellow boxers, TV stars and friends passing on their congratulations.

But one Instagram user called Paris post ‘tasteless’ and asked ‘what about people who have nothing?’
WBC heavyweight king Tyson decided to comment on his wife’s video, insisting that ‘material things will have no real use for us’.
He wrote: “I’m not the perfect husband or the perfect man, but I have and always will love my wife Paris.
“There were times when Paris earned more money than me. My career and life hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows but now it is I’m happy for every day god sends me.

“Material things are of no real use to us as humans as everything on earth will rot and rust eventually, but our love for 1&other will last forever!
“I would happily give up everything for my loved ones and live in a tent outside as the most important things are free. We are on this planet for a short timeframe then we leave.
“Enjoy the time you have together with the people that matter in your life, the most precious thing I own is contentment and happiness and a well mind.”
Celebrating their anniversary is a bit of good news for Tyson after being frustrated in his bid to get back to boxing this year.

The trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder, who Fury battered in February to become the new WBC champ, was shelved.
The American’s team insist he is not dodging the fight and has instructed his legal team to thrash out Part III.
Fury then wanted a homecoming fight on December 5, but plans for that fell through and the Gypsy King will have to wait until next year for a ring return.

John Fury offers David Haye £1MILLION bet at 2/1 that ‘Mr Invincible’ Tyson will beat Anthony Joshua

CONFIDENT John Fury has offered David Haye a million pound bet that son Tyson will beat Brit rival Anthony Joshua.
And a riled John even gave ex-heavyweight champ Haye odds of 2/1 in his favour after he had “a bit of a go” at Tyson.

“Shall we start with £1,000,000?!” 🤬”No, let’s definitely not go with £1,000,000!” 😂Big John Fury tried to make ANOTHER bet with David Haye, this time about #FuryAJ…Full episode of the Heavyweight Debate drops tomorrow night! pic.twitter.com/iXBMGJbMsn
    — Boxing on BT Sport 🥊 (@BTSportBoxing) November 23, 2020

WBC king Fury and WBA, IBF and WBO champion Joshua are finally expected to face off in a mammoth unification bout next year.
The potential bout has the world of boxing talking and John tried to get Haye to put his money where his mouth is.
The pair disagreed over who would win the fight on the latest episode of BT Sport’s Lockdown Knockdown show.
And Tyson’s dad John was annoyed by Haye’s “Mr Invincible” barb aimed at the current WBC champion.

Haye said: “If anyone on the planet is able to somehow find a way to beat Mr Invincible…”
And John interrupted: “I know you’re having a bit of a go there. He is Mr Invincible.
“How much do you want to put down on it? Shall we start with £1million?”
A grinning Haye hit back: “No, let’s definitely not go with £1million.”

But John was so adamant he said: “And I’ll give you 2/1, how’s that? He is Mr Invincible because he’s proved it.”
Haye laughed: “I’m not betting against you, ever.”
Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn revealed this week that the pay-per-view showdown would likely set fans back £30 to watch.
Speaking to IFL TV, Hearn said: “I would think that if the AJ fights moving forwards are £24.95 – Sky’s decision, or whoever else is broadcasting the fight with Sky – I would think £29.95 would be the price point for that fight.”

Joshua will defend titles against Kubrat Pulev on December 12 in a bout that was originally scheduled for June at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Fury, meanwhile, was due to fight on December 5 but appeared to postpone that comeback until next year.
He tweeted: “The Gypsy King is returning in 2021. Only those that have supported me 100% since my comeback will be with me for the glory.”

Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury to cost new record £29.95 PPV price, reveals Eddie Hearn despite backlash over Pulev bout

IT LOOKS like fans will have to fork out just under £30 to watch Anthony Joshua’s unification fight with Tyson Fury.
That is according to Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn, who has already faced backlash over the cost of AJ’s next clash.

AJ will first face Kibrat Pulev next month before the Gypsy KingCredit: Reuters

Viewers will have to shell out £24.95 if they want to watch Joshua defend his world titles against Kubrat Pulev.
The two heavyweights will clash at Wembley Arena on December 12 – albeit behind-closed-doors.
As a result of crowds not being allowed to watch the fight live, AJ is believed to be missing out on some £8MILLION.
The event will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office at a whopping £24.95, equalling the record price to watch AJ’s revenge against Andy Ruiz out in Saudi Arabia in December last year.

Back then, Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn defended that price, saying it was because it was ‘a one off fight where you may not ever see a fight like this again’.
He also insisted it was a decision taken by Sky Sports and not himself, as it is again this time.
However, despite many feeling that figure is too much, if AJ gets past Pulev and goes on to face the WBC title holder Fury it will cost even more.
Speaking to IFL TV over the price to watch the two Brits get it on, Hearn said: “I would think that if the AJ fights moving forwards are £24.95 – Sky’s decision, or whoever else is broadcasting the fight with Sky – I would think £29.95 would be the price point for that fight.”

Hearn attempted to justify the inflated price for the Pulev fight, pointing to the lack of gate revenue.
The Matchroom Boxing supremo said: “We had 70,000 people at Tottenham that are no longer coming so we decided to keep the PPV price the same as his last fight.
“No price increase, despite the fact there are millions and millions no longer coming into the fight.”
The decision, however, means that AJ fans will have to shell out nearly £25 to watch their hero in action for the first time in 12 months – just 13 days before a Christmas in which people are already feeling the strain of a tough financial year.
Joshua, 31, had initially been pencilled in to face Pulev at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in June, in front of a capacity crowd in North London.
But with the coronavirus pandemic having swiftly KO’d that plan, Joshua will now face the 39-year-old Bulgarian at an empty Wembley Arena.

Joe Joyce hopes pint-sized coach’s new eight-inch Cuban heels can help him topple Daniel Dubois

JOE JOYCE is banking on a set of specially-imported eight-inch Cuban heels helping him topple Daniel Dubois on Saturday.
The 35-year-old Putney ace has been separated from US-based coach Ismael Salas for most of lockdown, relying on Zoom calls to keep in touch with the celebrated 5ft 6in trainer.

But the 2016 Olympic silver winner has finally managed to have the little mastermind fly over to finish off the crucial camp and the 6ft 6in Juggernaut has been able to do pads with his platform-booted mentor
Joyce said: “It’s been great to finally have got Salas over here.
“I’ve been doing great work with my other coach on the pads while Salas has been away and I’ve been sending him clips of my sparring and training and the team has been talking on FaceTime.
“Salas has done lots behind the scenes but it’s good to have him here in person because he’s really hands on with his training, with the pads and his high heels.

“From the first time back in the gym he just brought it back to the fundamentals and just built it up from there, to get my technique back in line and refine things.
“And now we actually have a gameplan that we’re working to.”
If Joyce’s masterplan backfires, the 11-0 powerhouse will only have himself to blame.
Before being robbed of a gold at the Rio games he sparred a skinny, less confident, teenage version of Dubois and gave him some expert advice that led to this crossroads.

The 2020 Olympics Dubois would have targeted have been delayed by the pandemic and instead he the British and Commonwealth champ is headlining a show on the same night as the man Joyce told him to model his career on.
“I remember giving him advice because he was thinking of turning pro” Joyce recalls. “And he was basically asking what I thought.
“I said you can either stay on to potentially fight at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, or you can do a Mike Tyson route and turn pro early.
“He seems to have taken that advice and turned pro and it seems to be good that he didn’t stay, because he’s 15-0, he’s having a good career so far and things are looking up
“Dubois could have still been on Team GB with no potential for the Olympics. Instead, he seems to have done well. Until he agreed to fight me.”

Watch Mike Tyson throw punch at enemy Floyd Mayweather as Money doesn’t even flinch in remarkable throwback video

MIKE TYSON and Floyd Mayweather have been on bad terms ever since 2001.
And Iron Mike nearly took the beef to a whole new level in 2014 when he pretended to punch him on stage.

The pair have been on bad terms since 2001Credit: YouTube / ESNEWS

But the stunt did not faze ‘Money’ Mayweather who laughed it off and proceeded to awkwardly hug the heavyweight icon.
The pair reportedly fell out after a 2001 police raid on Tyson’s Las Vegas home which Iron Mike accused Mayweather of calling.
Tyson could never prove Mayweather’s involvement and later admitted he was over it.
He said: “I’m good with it now. You can forgive, but you have to remember.”

But this was not the case in 2014, when the two met on stage at a boxing event.
Mayweather could be seen shaking hands with other well known boxing guests before Tyson rushed up to him.
Mayweather held his hand out to shake but Tyson ignored and it threw a punch at the middleweight champ – deliberately missing his face by just inches.
Money did not even flinch and instead smiled and awkwardly hugged Tyson – who makes a comeback to the ring this Saturday against Roy Jones Jr.

The footage seems to show the incident ending in a jovial fashion but that illusion was shattered a year later when Tyson slammed Mayweather for suggesting he was the greatest boxer of all time.
Iron Mike said: “He’s very delusional.
“Listen, if he was anywhere near that realm of great as Muhammad Ali, he’d be able to take his kids to school by himself.
“OK, he can’t take his kids to school by himself, and he’s talking about he’s great?
“Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people.
“It’s being accepted by the people. He can’t take his kids alone to school by himself. He’s a little scared man. He’s a very small, scared man.”
Tyson also revealed his one fantasy fight would be against Mayweather.
Mayweather recently opened up on another feud – this time with rapper 50 Cent.
And YouTuber Logan Paul is sparring again having called Mayweather out – saying he ‘would snap the f***er in half’.
