Watch Mike Tyson throw huge punch at enemy Floyd Mayweather Jr but Money doesn’t even flinch in stunning throwback video

MIKE TYSON and Floyd Mayweather have been on bad terms ever since 2001.
And Iron Mike nearly took the beef to a whole new level in 2014 when he pretended to punch him on stage.

The pair have been on bad terms since 2001Credit: YouTube / ESNEWS

But the stunt did not faze ‘Money’ Mayweather who laughed it off and proceeded to awkwardly hug the heavyweight icon.
The pair reportedly fell out after a 2001 police raid on Tyson’s Las Vegas home which Iron Mike accused Mayweather of calling.
Tyson could never prove Mayweather’s involvement and later admitted he was over it.
He said: “I’m good with it now. You can forgive, but you have to remember.”

But this was not the case in 2014, when the two met on stage at a boxing event.
Mayweather could be seen shaking hands with other well known boxing guests before Tyson rushed up to him.
Mayweather held his hand out to shake but Tyson ignored and it threw a punch at the middleweight champ – deliberately missing his face by just inches.
Money did not even flinch and instead smiled and awkwardly hugged Tyson – who makes a comeback to the ring this Saturday against Roy Jones Jr.

The footage seems to show the incident ending in a jovial fashion but that illusion was shattered a year later when Tyson slammed Mayweather for suggesting he was the greatest boxer of all time.
Iron Mike said: “He’s very delusional.
“Listen, if he was anywhere near that realm of great as Muhammad Ali, he’d be able to take his kids to school by himself.
“OK, he can’t take his kids to school by himself, and he’s talking about he’s great?
“Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people.
“It’s being accepted by the people. He can’t take his kids alone to school by himself. He’s a little scared man. He’s a very small, scared man.”
Tyson also revealed his one fantasy fight would be against Mayweather.
Mayweather recently opened up on another feud – this time with rapper 50 Cent.
And YouTuber Logan Paul is sparring again having called Mayweather out – saying he ‘would snap the f***er in half’.

Mike Tyson’s stunning houses throughout career, from a 21-bed Connecticut mansion to Ohio home which is now a church

AS Mike Tyson rose through the ranks over the years to become heavyweight champion of the world, the boxing legend bought and sold some stunning homes.
‘Iron Mike’ came a long way from the humble beginnings of his childhood home in Brooklyn to mansions filled with tiger cages as millions of dollars poured in.

Mike Tyson has lived in the most amazing homes dotted all over America

After losing it all, Tyson, now 54, is once again worth millions after launching his company Tyson Holistic and flogging medical marijuana.
And he’s making his big boxing comeback in a hotly-anticipated exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr this Saturday night on November 28.
But it’s his former homes that really amaze and show how the king of the ring loved living.
    NEW YORK
Tyson spent most of his childhood years in a modest apartment in Brooklyn in Brownsville in the mid 1970s.

It was a neighbourhood, at the time, that was a breeding ground for crime and most residents lived poorly.
In the past, Tyson has admitted mixing with criminals as he looked for acceptance and joined a gang of petty thieves.
But in his spare-time in the Brownsville abode, he became fascinated by pigeons.

A young Tyson kept pigeons on the rooftop of the Brooklyn apartment
He kept coops on the rooftop of the building and cared for the birds religiously.
Today, apartments in the area can fetch up to £500,000.
    OHIO
Tyson’s fall from grace began in 1992, when he was convicted of rape and was sentenced to six years in prison, of which he served three.
Financially drained, he was forced to sell this incredible home in 1999 for around £855,000.
Today, remarkably, it’s been converted into a church.
But in Tyson’s day it boasted five bedrooms and a full-size pool and Jacuzzi alongside its tiger cages and basketball court, with the entire pad decked out with crystal chandeliers.
The delipidated pool has since been turned into a sanctuary while the living room is now a gathering place.
Remnants of the 53-year-old’s time still remain with the basketball court still intact, as well as Mike Tyson’s name etched onto the front gate.

The old fireplace has since been turned into an indoor waterfall while the four-bay garage is now classrooms and a nursery.
And the tall steel cages where Tyson kept his famous four tigers have been dismantled for a pavilion.
    CONNECTICUT
In 2003, Tyson was declared bankrupt.
That meant he had to sell up again – and a 52-room mansion in Connecticut he used to live in was eventually bought by rapper 50 Cent for £3.3million.
Boasting 21 bedrooms, as well as its own nightclub the property is as lavish as Tyson has ever owned.
The 50,000-square-foot property also has 25 bathrooms, an indoor pool and hot tub, an indoor basketball court, multiple game rooms, a green-screen room, and a recording studio.
And the opulence doesn’t end there.
Entering the property through a stately front gate, you’re greeted by a lion statue.
However, the running costs – believed to be around £50,000-per-month – forced 50 Cent to sell the house in 2019.

    MARYLAND
Tyson’s Maryland residence was bought with ex-wife Monica Turner in 1995.
The pair lived there through the early 2000s, until the pair divorced after she claimed he committed adultery.
Turner won the house in the divorce settlement, which is just 30 minutes from Washington DC.
It features seven bedrooms, a large gym, game room, swimming pool, sports court and a piano room.
It also overlooks the Congressional Country Club golf course, which has hosted several US Open tournaments.
Back in May, the home was listed for sale at £7million.

    THE HANGOVER PAD
In 2008, Tyson let Hollywood film director Todd Phillips into his £1.5million Las Vegas pad to film legendary scenes from the hit comedy movie.
And what a lavish setting it is too.
Found in the beautiful gated community called Seven Hills in the suburb of Henderson, it boasts six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms and its own private balcony.
There’s also the incredible 18-hole Rio Secco Golf Club to enjoy, as well as four large private parks filled with basketball courts, tennis courts and football pitches.
Like many new builds in Las Vegas within gated communities, the 5,740-square-feet mansion was built in an Italian style in 2001.
Two-storeys in size, the entrance opens to a grand reception room with a 25-foot-high lit waterfall, which connects to the great room that has a wet bar and fireplace.
Tyson lived in the property with third wife Lakiha, eventually selling it in 2016.

    HIS CURRENT HOME
Today, back at the top, Tyson lives a life of luxury once more. And he loves living in Henderson, Las Vegas.
Shortly after he sold ‘The Hangover’ home, he bought this nearby mansion for £2.5million.
The 8,149 square-foot mansion in Henderson, Nevada, built in 2001, has plenty of indoor and outside space.
There are six spacious bedrooms and six bathrooms in his mediterranean-style villa.
Again, it’s found in the gated community of Seven Hills – so it’s surrounded by parks and tennis and basketball courts.

Mike Tyson feeds his dog Roy Jones Jr cake as Thanksgiving treat with legends set to fight

MIKE TYSON fed his dog a special Thanksgiving feast – a Roy Jones Jr cake.
The Baddest Man on the planet returns to the ring for the first time in over 15 years this Saturday.

The two legends return to the ring this SaturdayCredit: Triller

Iron Mike, 54, is pulling on the gloves to battle fellow legend Jones Jr in a highly-anticipated exhibition bout that is already surpassing huge pay-per-view buys.
And he has decided to up the ante ahead of his comeback by sharing a snap of his pet pooch tucking into a cake designed in the face of his opponent.
Tyson set-up and runs an Instagram account in the name of his dog, Mars Tyson, and posted the shot on there just over 48 hours prior to fight night.
And he captioned it with: “Thanks to my best friend @miketyson for making this #thanksgiving the greatest. @royjonesjrofficial was delicious.”

Both the former heavyweight champ Jones Jr, 51, could have to call in pet sitters before dusting off their gloves to go one-on-one at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Aside from boxing, the two share another common interest… they’re both animal lovers.
‘Iron Mike’ famously owned tigers, tends to pigeons and has a poodle he loves to work out with.
While Jones Jr is an expert snake handler, loves posing with roosters and has two Pit Bulls and a Golden Retriever.

And this is not the first time we have seen Tyson’s adorable poodle Mars.
Fans regularly saw him cheering his owner up on Instagram during lockdown.
Mars has his own Instagram page and has amassed an amazing 23,000-plus followers.
And he calls himself the ‘Baddest Doodle On The Planet’.
Jones Jr breeded Pit Bulls on his ranch in the past, and appears to currently have two.
A playful Golden Retriever has also been seen hanging out with Jones Jr.

Some have criticised the fight due to the fighters’ age and the fact that Tyson, in particular, has not boxed in over 15 years.
But Iron Mike took to Twitter to slam his critics with a screenshot of a Yahoo! report on the fight’s financial success.
    He wrote: “Numbers don’t lie.
“Haters are mad they can’t get numbers like this.
“Saturday is reckoning. Roy Jones Jr you better be ready.”
The report detailed how Tyson vs Jones Jr had broken pre-fight sales records for digital pay-per-view purchases.

Inside Roy Jones Jr’s £1m Florida mansion that has a farm with roosters and peacocks, a basketball court and a cinema

    IT’S SHOWTIME!
It’s been two years since Roy Jones Jr, 51, hung up his gloves and retired from the world of boxing.

Inside Roy Jones Jr’s Florida mansion

The lavish property is worth around £1milion

Built over 80 acres, the property has its own farm

But as any professional slugger will admit, there’s always that chance of ‘one more fight’ bringing you out of retirement, which is why ‘Captain Hook’ is taking on Mike Tyson in an exhibition fight on November 28 in LA.
And it’s not as if Jones Jr is short of a few bob, either. With a net worth today said to be around the £5million mark , the Olympic silver medallist, rapper, and pal of Vladimir Putin has still got money in the bank.
One of the fruits of his success is his huge mansion in Pensacola, Florida.
Join SunSport in taking a look around his stunning pad.

    HOME FIT FOR A CHAMP
Jones Jr’s epic 15,000 square-feet home is built on 80-acres of land that’s all his.
It boasts three bedrooms and four bathrooms, and is believed to be worth around £1million.
There’s a huge living room boasting African-influenced art, as well as a kitchen that features two islands, including a stool-seating area.
Jones Jr uses his dining room space to house a jukebox that features his favourite hip-hop artists such as Method Man, Redman and DMX.

There’s also a pristine pool table that’s handily walking distance from the kitchen, perfect for stopping play and grabbing a brew.

The living room opens up into a vast space

African art adds to the stunning decor

The pool table sits near the kitchen

There are three bedrooms, including this master suite

A cinema room seats ten people

Inside Jones Jr’s walk-in closet is his collection of trainers

A full-sized basketball court is perfect for RJJ and his pals to play
On the ground floor, there’s a cinema room that boasts a sliding down projector screen and seating for up to ten people.
Trainer collector Jones Jr also has a brilliant walk-in closet that houses his favourite kicks.
A walk upstairs takes you to a games room that has an air hockey table, as well as table football.
But the most envious amenity has to be his own personal full-sized basketball court.
    A FARM HAND
With 80-acres of land to play with, Jones Jr built his own farm on his ranch.
He raises a whole host of animals, including chickens, ducks, turkeys, peacocks and sheep.
They sit alongside his pets, two pitbulls and a golden retriever.

Jones jr is a farm hand when he’s not boxing
Then there’s his unconventional pets – snakes, which he showed off on a YouTube clip that went viral, as well as his expert snake-handling skills.
To fit in with his outdoorsy lifestyle, Jones Jr enjoys hunting and is a keen fisherman too.
    CARS
Motors are a big deal for any well-off boxer.
And when Jones Jr showed off his fleet sitting on his driveway on MTV Cribs, he had a car that fitted all occasions.
For cruising around, he has a classic Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG, as well as a Cadillac Escalade worth around £75,000.
There’s also his 2003 Hummer – a car now extinct – that guzzles petrol at 10 miles a gallon.

Roy Jones Jr could be persuaded to carry on comeback with Anderson Silva, Bernard Hopkins or Antonio Tarver fights

ROY JONES JR could be persuaded to carry on his comeback by the likes of Anderson Silva, Benard Hopkins or Antonio Tarver.
All-time great Jones comes out of retirement on Saturday to face fellow legend Mike Tyson in an eight-round exhibition bout.

The challenge comes two years after his last fight, but it may not prove to be the end of the road in the 51-year-old’s illustrious career.
Tarver, 52, and Hopkins, 55, are among those Jones feels he has unfinished business with – as well as UFC legend Silva, 45.
His cornerman Tom Yankello told SunSport: “I know he’s got a couple of guys he wants to settle scores with if they’re willing to.
“We got Tarver and Hopkins. But I don’t think he would come back to just fight, he wouldn’t come for just anyone.

“It would have to be one of the guys he really wants or for a cruiserweight world championship of something like that.
“Anderson Silva, that’s another name I can see something like that too.
“Roy loves to fight, he loves to train, he’s the ultimate competitor he enjoys that.”

Jones beat Tarver in their first fight in 2003, but lost the following two.

Similarly, he saw past Hopkins in a 1993 masterclass, but failed to repeat in their rematch 17 years later.
During the end of Jones’ career, he chased a fight with the UFC’s middleweight icon Silva, but the Brazilian’s contract permitted it.
Now the former champion has been released by the UFC, he is free to crossover to boxing, something Silva also revealed was possible.
Jones and Yanekllo have not explicitly discussed what could be next after Saturday’s pay-per-view spectacle.
Having seen the former four-weight champion revitalise himself over nine weeks of training camp, the trainer has not ruled out further fights.
But it all depends on how well Jones fairs against iconic puncher Tyson.

Antonio Tarver twice beat Jones Credit: Reuters
Yankello said: “If he comes out healthy I wouldn’t put it out the realm of possibility. But I would say it’s a little too early to say.
“This fight plays a big part, to see how he comes out and how he feels after it.
“Does this satisfy his sweet tooth, enough to ride off into the sunset?
“He’s spent his whole life doing that and it’s not something that fizzles out, especially once it’s been reignited.”
Jones comes into the fight as the betting underdog, despite Tyson’s 15 year inactivity.
But Yankello is confident what they lack in size in power, they make up for in superior boxing skills.
And he forecasts if Jones can weather the early storm, he can stop Tyson in the later rounds.

    Trainer Tom Yankello with Jones

Yankello says Jones can stop Iron Mike in the later rounds
Yankello explained: “The later rounds is where I think Roy takes over. I’m not saying he doesn’t win the early rounds as well.
“But the early rounds will be dictate and then I think Roy outboxes him clearly. I think he could possibly stop him late.
“I think it comes down to how durable Mike is, being off 15 years. That’s the mystery to me, what he’s actually bringing, what his durability is.
“Mike’s been gone 15 years, can he be durable after not being hit for all these years?
“Even though Roy’s not on paper the bigger puncher in this fight, he’s knocked out more people than Mike has.
“He’s a power puncher, he always has been and I think it comes down to how durable Mike is.
“If he does stop him I think it would be later, somewhere from the fourth round onwards.”

But Paul, 25, told his podcast: “It might come off a little odd, these exchanges I’m having with women who aren’t my girlfriend. Ex-girlfriend.
    “I mean, I didn’t really plan on – it’s hard.
“We’ve had the conversation, ‘How do you tell the world it’s over’.
“I’ve always really valued the privacy of my relationship because my life is already pretty public so I don’t feel like either Josie or myself needs to give an explanation if we don’t feel like it.”

Paul lost his first professional fight to KSI last year and has been winding up Floyd Mayweather in the hope of landing the former world champ.
The man known as ‘Money’ agreed to ‘put a muzzle on’ the YouTuber after being called out for a fight.

However, Paul has rallied against Mayweather for, as of yet, failing to sign a contract.
He recently remarked in one bizarre clip: “Hey Floyd, I know you’ve had the contract for a while now.

“At first I thought you didn’t sign it because you didn’t want one punch to ruin your legacy.
“But now I feel like maybe you didn’t sign it because you don’t know how to spell your name.

Anthony Joshua set to have 1,000 fans at Wembley or O2 for Kubrat Pulev fight with London in Tier 2 coronavirus rules

ANTHONY JOSHUA’S heavyweight showdown with Kubrat Pulev is set to have 1,000 fans in attendance after London was placed in Tier 2 of the new lockdown rules.
The Government announced a relaxing of coronavirus rules surrounding sporting events with their regional tiered system this morning.

The London 2012 gold medallist is putting his WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles on the line against the Bulgarian on December 12.
The fight is currently set to take place at the O2 Arena, but could be moved to Wembley Arena.
It still remains to be confirmed which one will host the showdown, with both arenas booked by Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn.
New rules mean fans who live in Tiers 1 and 2 will be able to return to indoor and outdoor sporting events from December 2.

London will go into Tier 2 when the national lockdown ends.
And that means a restricted number of fans will be allowed in to see AJ’s first fight in a year since he reclaimed the belts from Andy Ruiz Jr.
Boxing and other elite sports will now be able to welcome limited crowds back if events are being staged in areas in either Tiers 1 or 2.
But those sporting events taking place in areas in Tier 3 are still unable to have any spectators.

Events taking place outdoors in Tier 1 are allowed 4,000 spectators present with Tier 2 able to host 2,000.
For Indoor events in Tier 1 and 2 it is half the number allowed for outdoors.
Speaking before today’s announcement, the 31-year-old Joshua said: “December 12 is the date and once again the heavyweight belts go up in the air and it is my sole focus to make sure that, come December 13, they are in their rightful place in the UK.
“Without the fans something huge is missing. I am really hoping that, safety permitting, we might be able to bring some boxing fans in but we will have to see.”
Fans not in attendance will have to fork out £24.95 to watch the title fight.
