Five celebrity fights which could take place on Snoop Dogg’s The Fight Club boxing league following Mike Tyson return

SNOOP DOGG announced that he has set up a boxing league following his dramatic hosting and commentary of Mike Tyson’s big comeback fight.
The rap legend was hailed for his own performance as Tyson, 54, drew his exhibition scrap against Roy Jones Jr, 51.

The Fight Club will feature celebrities, influencers and athletes scrapping on shows throughout the year.
Tyson himself could be featuring in another soon – he confirmed he will continue to fight on after enjoying his big night back under the lights.
And with a music genius making it a real party, who wouldn’t want to join Iron Mike on the bill?
Here, SunSport checks out five celebrity battles that could headline Snoop’s shows.

    Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield
Many thought this would mark Tyson’s big comeback – completing his trilogy against 58-year-old Holyfield.
But a deal couldn’t be struck, with Tyson recently claiming fault was wholly on The Real Deal’s side.
Holyfield triumphed in both their professional fights, could he be stirred into the prospect of win number three?

    Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul
YouTuber Paul called out the Notorious after brutally knocking out ex-NBA ace Nate Robinson in Los Angeles on Saturday

And the Problem Child – who has won both of his fights inside the squared circle – has also set his sights on fights with KSI and Dillon Danis.
But the 23-year-old American is desperate to pit his wits against McGregor, 32, who returns to the octagon in January to face Dustin Poirier in a rematch.

    Colby Covington vs LeBron James
UFC star Colby Covington has called out basketball legend LeBron James and vowed to ‘make him eat canvas’.
The outspoken Donald Trump supporter is determined to continue his long-running feud with James.
Covington, 32, has previously labelled the NBA star a ‘spineless coward’ in a row over the Black Lives Matter movement.
James, 35, protested against the shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin and the murder of George Floyd by boycotting the play-offs.

    Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather
Paul really is targetting some of sport’s biggest legends isn’t he?
As well as McGregor, the social media star has also called out undefeated boxer and one of the best ever Mayweather, 43.
The 25-year-old claimed Floyd Mayweather hasn’t signed a fight contract yet because the boxing legend cannot spell in his own name in a cringeworthy video.

    Justin Bieber vs Tom Cruise
Things took a VERY weird turn last year when pop badboy Bieber, 25, called out the 56-year-old Mission Impossible actor and demanded they face off in the Octagon.
But that apparent rivalry could be seized up by Snoop Dogg to get the pair into a boxing ring.

Eddie Hearn calls for Tyson Fury to attend Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev and even invites him over for Sunday roast

TYSON FURY has been invited to watch ringside as Anthony Joshua defends his world title against Kubrat Pulev next weekend.
And boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has even offered the Gypsy King a spot at his dining table for ‘a Sunday roast’ the day after.

Should AJ get past teak-tough Bulgarian veteran Pulev, it could set the wheels in motion to thrash out terms for an undisputed clash against Fury.
And Matchroom boss Hearn thinks it wouldn’t be a bad idea for Fury to scout out the opposition at first hand on December 12.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Hearn said: “I think that he should be coming.
“If he wants to fight Anthony Joshua, it’s not a case of calling him out, it’s called doing his research and building the fight.

“Tyson Fury is more than welcome to come down. I only live 45 minutes away from Wembley.
“He can come around on Sunday afternoon for a roast as well, if he wants and a cuppa.”
Despite Fury announcing back in March that two fights against Joshua had been ‘agreed’, there hasn’t been any developments on this.
And Joshua seems sceptical that the Battle of Britain will happen next year.

Speaking to ESPN the 31-year-old said: “When I look at Fury, great talent, but I don’t know whether he’s coming or going.
“He announced he was going to fight me, then the deal didn’t get signed and we’re not fighting.
“I don’t know what will happen in 2021 but if I was to bet all my money on it I would say Usyk because he is with Matchroom.”
While the Watford champ has his doubts, he is clearly desperate for the fight to happen in 2021.

And he told exclusively told SunSport that he believes fighting Fury can lift the spirits of the nation after the coronavirus pandemic.
Joshua has even said he would be prepared to take a PAY CUT to get the deal over the line.
He has already missed out on an £8million payday when he fights Pulev at Wembley Arena in front of just 1,000 fans.

Tyson Fury shows off his and Mike Tyson’s incredible body transformations after shedding almost 22 STONE combined

TYSON FURY took to social media to show off his and Mike Tyson’s epic body transformations after returning to the ring after lengthy periods out.
The Gypsy King and the Baddest Man on the Planet have shed almost an incredible 22 stone between them.

Tyson Fury uploaded these pictures of himself and Mike Tyson

Fury, 32, was inactive for almost three years after dethroning Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.
During that time, he ballooned up to 28 stone, but he has since got himself back into brilliant shape.
The unbeaten WBC champion walked into his rematch in February against Deontay Wilder at around 18 stone according to his former trainer Ben Davison.
Former world champ Tyson, 54, also struggled with weight problems following his defeat to Kevin McBride in 2005.

At his heaviest he weighed 27 stone, but he got himself into peak condition when he fought for the first time in 15 years against Roy Jones Jr last weekend.
For his exhibition bout in Los Angeles, Iron Mike weighed in at 15st 7lbs – lighter than his 1986 world title victory against Trevor Berbick.
And Fury took to Twitter where he posted before and now pictures of the pair, as he said: “Friday inspiration from the 2 TYSONs. @MikeTyson – Hard work pays off.”
It has been revealed that Fury got himself into shape by eating six meals a day, combined with training up to four times day.

Mike Tyson’s incredible bodyweight workout routine

After shedding four stone, Tyson revealed he lost a further 100lbs in the build-up to his fight against Jones Jr.
Speaking of how he managed to do it, he said: “I became a vegan.
“My wife told me to get on a treadmill. So I went from 15 minutes on the treadmill and ended at two hours.
“I kept going to the gym and watching my diet and I’m beautiful.”

Tyson Fury’s incredible family dynasty with NINE pro boxers as cousin Hughie prepares for Anthony Joshua undercard fight

TYSON FURY has revealed that his younger brother Roman is set to become the NINTH professional boxer in his family.
The WBC heavyweight champion’s 23-year-old sibling has no amateur experience but has been training with the Gypsy King during lockdown.

Tyson Fury’s younger brother Roman, middle, has taken up boxingTyson Fury, 32, is already one of the best heavyweight boxers in the world, with his younger brother, Love Island star Tommy, 21, is 4-0 in the light-heavyweight division.
Roman had been intending to follow a different career path before taking up boxing with his siblings over the past few months.
Tyson told iFL TV in September: “Just signing him [Roman] up now, he’s 23-years-old, he’s an aspiring cruiserweight champion of the future.
“Southpaw, tall, 6ft 2ins, in good shape.

Hasn’t had any amateur fights, but he’s been around the game a long time so born and bred into it
Tyson Fury on his brother Roman

“We’re gonna try and get him – when the boxing starts again – maybe four or five fights within the boxing season and keep him busy for the next couple of years.
“He’s learning on the job, like Canelo was. Gonna get him to about 20-0 before we move him up.
“He’s 23, nearly 24. Hasn’t had any amateur fights, but he’s been around the game a long time so born and bred into it.
“We’ll get him a few fights and see how he goes on. Sugar Hill’s teaching him that Kronk style, he’s learning.”

Roman, like his brother Shane, had kept a relatively low profile in the Fury family with Tyson, Tommy both boxing stars.
His cousin Hughie – who has been added to the undercard for Anthony Joshua’s bout against Kubrat Pulev – is also a 23-3 fighter.
He explained in the iFL interview: “When lockdown happened I had nothing else to do.
“I had no work on, as many people didn’t, and I had the opportunity to go and train.
“So I did it, got fit, lost a bit of weight and I just fell in love with it.

I’ve put everything on hold and I’m gonna give it my best and see how we go…It’s like an experiment, I wanna see how far I can go
    Roman Fury

“I thought, ‘I’ve always wanted to do it, so why not now?’
“So I’ve put everything on hold and I’m gonna give it my best and see how we go…It’s like an experiment, I wanna see how far I can go.
“Just started it now at 23, but it’s all about self-belief and I do have a lot of that.”
Roman said his older brother Tyson told him if he is going to become a boxer he has to be a hundred percent committed.

He added: “He [Tyson] just said listen, if you want to do it that badly, you can, it’s never too late.
“But you need to put a hundred percent in, everything you’ve got, no slacking, no doing out on the weekends, nothing like that, you’ve got to completely dedicate yourself.
“He’s not said it’s too late for you, give it up and all that, he’s been nothing but supportive, same as Tommy – same as everyone, the whole family.”

Mike Tyson reveals girls would never go near him in Russia as he was surrounded by ‘mean-looking Russians with AK47s’

MIKE TYSON has revealed he found it hard to attract girls in Russia because he was surrounded by ‘mean-looking Russians with AK47s’.
The boxing legend made a grand return to the sport at the age of 54 at the weekend when he drew with fellow Hall of Famer Roy Jones Jr.

Now Iron Mike has decided to reminisce about the glory days when he ruled the heavyweight division with brutality.
His worldwide appeal took him to visit Moscow – but he was never alone as he explored the country.
Speaking on his Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson podcast, he explained: “If I go to Russia, right, I go to Russia, I don’t mind if there’s an entourage—they got M16s, AK47s.
“And I’d say, ‘Listen, the girls are not going to come over here if you have the guns, could you guys just put the guns in the car?’

“So I don’t even go out with the Russians. Bulletproof cars, yeah, we’re in bulletproof cars! This is not fun!
“They don’t wanna hang out with us, we got all these guns and these mean-looking f***ing Russians. They don’t wanna hang out with us.”
Tyson went on to say that despite his pleading, the security teams stayed silent and refused to leave his side.
He added: “Well the government tells them to stay with us.

“They don’t listen to us, they just follow us. They don’t even listen to what the f— I say!
“They just follow us, and I’m begging them, please, just go, no please, don’t come in the club, just wait outside. Nah, they just follow you in the club.”
Tyson is firmly back in the public eye with his stunning body transformation and return to boxing.
He drew with Jones Jr at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, but many thought he was unlucky not to win.
And he has confirmed he will continue to have more exhibition fights too.

When will Anthony Joshua fight Tyson Fury? British heavyweight mega bout date and proposed venue

BOXING’s biggest fight Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury could take place TWICE next year.
Joshua and Fury have been back and forth over a potential mega-clash for years and finally the stars look to be aligning.

Anthony Joshua will face Kubrat Pulev on December 12 in LondonCredit: PA:Press Association

AJ must first beat Kubrat Pulev on December 12 before throwing himself into an incredibly lucrative 2021.
Fury, on the other hand, still looks to be waiting for a ruling from a judge on Deontay Wilder’s demand for a trilogy rematch.
When could Joshua vs Fury happen?
While there’s no definitive date as of yet, May or June 2021 seem to be the two dates being floated around by promoter Eddie Hearn.
Fury and Joshua both verbally agreed a two-fight deal to take place next year, during the summer.

Anthony Joshua is in peak physical condition ahead of the Pulev clash
It was expected that Joshua and Fury would fight after respective fights with Pulev and wilder.
But Fury’s clash with Wilder doesn’t look to be happening, so the Gypsy King could go straight into a Joshua fight having not fought for at least 15 months.
Where will the fight take place?
Much has been made of the potential venue for Joshua vs Fury, with both the UK and the Middle East in the running,
Joshua told SunSport in an exclusive interview earlier this week that he’d be willing to take a pay cut in order for the fight to happen in Britain.

Wembley Stadium would be the ideal venue to hold the mega-fight, but countries such as Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are all looking to invest heavily in big boxing events.

Tyson Fury stopped Deontay Wilder in the seventh round of their February boutCredit: AP:Associated Press
Saudi Arabia hosted Joshua’s last fight with Andy Ruiz Jr last December.
“Yeah, why not? Now I’m fighting Kubrat Pulev for a massive pay cut,” he said.
“We have to keep the sport alive, Matchroom are taking pay cuts this year, we have to keep the sport alive.
“We are all doing our part at the minute, It’s all experience. We are doing it now so I wouldn’t mind doing it again.
“It’s not harming me, and it’s for a bigger cause as well, it’s a massive cause and a big fight but the main objective is how do we get Fury in the ring.”
What about mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk?
One thing that stands in the way of a Joshua vs Fury clash is AJ’s WBO mandatory title challenger Oleksandr Usyk.
The Ukrainian just outpointed Derek Chisora and has said he will NOT be taking a step-aside fee to let Fury and Joshua battle it out for all of the belts.
And even Joshua thinks he’s more likely to face Usyk than Fury next.
“I go off people who are serious. If Fury is serious and keen then the fight will happen,” he told ESPN.

Oleksandr Usyk is Anthony Joshua’s WBO mandatory challengerCredit: USA TODAY Sports
“Honestly, I’m keen to test myself. He’s supposed to have the real boxing IQ, so it’s going to be a really good challenge.
“I’m keen to compete with him, no problem. But whether he’s ready, that’s a whole other story because of the issues he faces during his career.
“I don’t know what will happen in 2021 but if I was to bet all my money on it I would say Usyk because he is with Matchroom, straightforward fight, and his track record shows when he says he is going to fight someone, he does.” More

Game of Thrones star Hafthor Bjornsson announces boxing fight against pro Steven Ward – who is 12 STONE lighter than him

GAME OF THRONES star Hafthor Bjornsson has confirmed that he will make his boxing debut against a fighter over 12 STONE lighter than him.
The 32-year-old, also known as ‘The Mountain’ from the hit TV show, will step into the ring to face Steven Ward on 16 January 2021.

Hafthor Bjornsson is set to make his boxing debut next monthCredit: Instagram / @thorbjornsson

The exhibition bout will serve as a warm-up for Bjornsson’s highly-anticipated clash against fellow strongman Eddie Hall next September.
The 6’9 Icelander weighed in over 32 STONE when he set a world record for the deadlift back in May.
But he recently revealed he has dropped down to 26 stone with further cuts planned after realising his ambition to step into the boxing ring.
However, Northern Irish pro boxer Ward will still be giving up a hefty size advantage when he travels to Reykjavik for the fight – which will be held over three three-minute rounds.

The former WBO European light heavyweight champion is seven inches smaller than Bjornsson and weighs over ten stone less!
Ward, 30, most recently bounced back from his one defeat on his 14-fight senior record with a six-round points victory over Jone Volau on his cruiserweight debut.
And he revealed he jumped at the opportunity to face Bjornsson but admitted he hasn’t even seen the show that made his opponent famous.
He told Belfast Live: “It all sort of came out of the blue, and it is something different.

I’ve never watched Game of Thrones, so I wasn’t even aware of Bjornsson’s role in the show. He’s massive!
    Steven Ward

“It is a bit left-field but when the opportunity was put to me I said yes. Boxing in the current climate is difficult, and getting fights is tough.
“My last fight was in September, and it could be February or March before I fight professionally again, and I have a young family.
“So when this was put to me I thought it through and said I would do it.
“I’ve never watched Game of Thrones, so I wasn’t even aware of Bjornsson’s role in the show. He’s massive!

“But I have met him before. I saw him in Belfast and saw him working on the bags. He is athletic and can move for a big man. He definitely surprised me.
“It will be something totally different and will keep me ticking over.
“I am hoping to get another fight in February or March so this will keep me active and training.”
