Jake Paul makes Michael Bisping fight offer of ‘millions’ which UFC legend ACCEPTS to come out of retirement at 185lbs

FORMER UFC middleweight champ Michael Bisping claims to have received a lucrative offer to box Jake Paul – and is up for the fight.
YouTube star Paul has been in the headlines this week due to his relentless pursuit of a boxing match with former two-weight UFC champ Conor McGregor.

YouTube superstar Jake Paul is aggressively pursuing a boxing match with Conor McGregor

Paul, 23, has also challenged McGregor’s team-mate Dillon Danis – who he recently pelted with water balloons – to meet him inside the ring.
McGregor has yet to respond to Paul’s barrage of call outs, a silence that appears to have prompted the outspoken YouTuber to offer Bisping a lucrative payday.
During the latest episode of his Believe You Me podcast, Bisping said: “Jake Paul, if you want to f**king go, Logan Paul, if you want to go, then I guess you have to put your hands in your pockets and man up.
“Because you’re talking s**t, you’re contacting my manager saying that you want to fight.

“Well, guess what, buddy? I’m here. I’m going nowhere. You want to fight someone? You want to test yourself? Hey, I’m 0-0 as a boxer. You’re saying you’re 1-0, you’re 2-0, I’m 0-0.
“At the end of the day, if you want to do this, stop playing games. You want to do it? I’ll do it. I’m here. No problem. Okay?”
Bisping, also known as ‘The Count’, retired from MMA two-and-a-half years ago following back-to-back losses to Georges St-Pierre and Kelvin Gastelum.
But the 41-year-old is adamant he’s still got what it takes to silence the brash Paul, who recently scored a viral KO over ex-NBA star Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson’s exhibition with Roy Jones Jr.

He added: “I’m almost 42-years old, I’m a former world champion and I will take you to school, my friend.
“And I’ll guarantee you this. You won’t get out of three rounds. That’s an absolute fact.
“You won’t get out of one round but we’ll say three just to give you that little insurance blanket.
“If this is a real offer, let me know and we’ll do it. 100 per cent. Logan Paul or Jake Paul, or both.”

Bisping was from impressed by Paul’s performance in his second pro fight, saying: “In my research and infinite wisdom of the fight game and after my extensive enquiries, I figured out his a bum and he’d be very easy to beat.
“But that said, he’s does have power, he is athletic, he is young. These are good things to have in the fight game.”
Bisping’s comments soon came to the attention of Paul, who proceeded to mock the Brit for his UFC 100 loss to Dan Henderson.
Alongside the infamous picture of Henderson flying through the air to land a strike on the unconscious Bisping, Paul tweeted: “@bisping my team is working on a melatonin brand deal for you and Nate [Diaz].”

Oleksandr Usyk hints he WILL step aside for Anthony Joshua to fight Tyson Fury in ‘once in a lifetime’ unification bout

OLEKSANDR USYK has hinted that he WILL step aside as WBO mandatory challenger to allow Anthony Joshua to fight Tyson Fury.
The Ukrainian, 33, said the chance of a massive unification bout with all four heavyweight belts on the line would be a “once in a lifetime opportunity”.

When asked if he would consider moving aside, Usyk told SunSport: “All four belts might end up in the same hands of one person.
“It might be a once in a lifetime opportunity. We should all talk and communicate for that to happen because it is a really big event.”
The man who unified the cruiserweight division revealed he is still chasing the Joshua fight after the Watford boxer delivered a stunning knockout against Kubrat Pulev last weekend.
But Usyk admitted there are many factors at play in order to get the match-up signed, with calls growing louder for a £500million two-fight deal to be agreed between AJ and Fury.

He added: “I still want to fight Anthony Joshua for the title.
“There are many factors for this fight to happen, my team and all the participants and all their interested parties are already working on it
“But there are still many people who wish to fight him as well, like Tyson Fury.”
Usyk’s manager Egis Kilmas claimed that if AJ chose to vacate the WBO belt in order to fight Fury it would show he was ‘scared’ of taking on Usyk.

Kilmas previously told BoxingScene.com: “Giving up the WBO belt means that Anthony Joshua is scared to fight Oleksandr Usyk. It means he sees a big risk fighting Oleksandr Usyk and losing.
“That’s what it tells me. If Anthony Joshua is 100 per cent sure he can beat Oleksandr Usyk then it’s a different story. But if he is not sure, of course, he can give up the title.”
But Usyk disagreed with his manager when speaking exclusively to SunSport and said: “No, I don’t think he would really be afraid of me.
“Because I think if he even does vacate the belt, he might have his own reasons. With Tyson Fury he has better opportunities, I think.”
Usyk praised British super-middleweight Callum Smith’s ‘skills’ ahead of his world title defence against Canelo Alvarez on Saturday.
But tipped the Mexican to come out on top as he is ‘two levels’ better than his opponent – despite giving away a SEVEN INCH height advantage.

With Tyson Fury he has better opportunities.”

SunSport’s pound for pound top ten
Usyk said: “I think that in boxing everybody has a chance in a fight.
“Of course, Smith has good skills but I think Alvarez wins over him by two levels but it is boxing and anything can happen.”
Usyk was asked if he would ever consider moving back down the weight categories to fight pound-for-pound No1 Alvarez – who has previously competed at light-heavyweight.
But the unbeaten Ukrainian claimed he would have to cut off his LEG to shed enough weight to make a bout possible.
He added: “I think that I wouldn’t be capable of it. I left the cruiserweight category because it was too difficult to make the weight.
“I would have to cut off my leg or something to fight someone like Alvarez.”
Oleksandr Usyk was speaking after launching the WePlay Ultimate Fighting League in partnership with WePlay Esports.

CANELO ALVAREZ is back in the ring tonight against tough Liverpudlian Callum Smith.
Smith will be the sixth Brit that Alvarez has fought, and the Mexican will be looking to win his opponent’s WBA and Ring Magazine world super-middleweight titles, as well as the vacant WBC strap.

Alvarez also fought and beat Smith’s brother Liam back in 2016, so Callum will be out for revenge.

Expect the undercard action to begin from around 1am GMT.
What channel is Canelo vs Smith on and can it be live streamed?

    What has been said?
“A win means more than I want, to be honest with you,” Smith told BBC Sport.
“It probably makes me a star in the boxing world.
“I do want star status and people to say ‘what a win that was’. I enjoy that.

“I don’t enjoy the fame side of it. I think when you chase money or fame, things come unstuck.”

    Rival’s corner
Super-middleweight rival Chris Eubank Jr has been speaking about Smith’s prospects of beating Alvarez.
The Brighton fighter, however, doesn’t rate Smith’s chances to be very high.
“Callum will fight him like a scared fighter, just like Sergey Kovalev did in his previous fight,” Eubank Jr told SunSport.

“These guys are going in to survive, just to escape a knockout or getting hurt.

Chris Eubank Jr believes he can beat Canelo AlvarezCredit: EPA
“I don’t have that in me, no matter how big or bad my opponent is, I attack them and Canelo is not used to that.
“He is used to winning these fights before he even gets in the ring, like Mike Tyson used to.
“But nobody is going to get into my head and make me put my tail between my legs.” More

Watch highlights of GGG’s record breaking title defence against Kamil Szeremeta including incredible double-jab finish

GENNADY GOLOVKIN further cemented his reputation as one of the greatest middleweights ever after his routine win over Kamil Szeremanta on Friday night.
The Kazakhstani 38-year-old floored Szeremanta four times in total before the referee eventually ended the contest in round seven when Golovkin landed a double-jab.

It was GGG’s 21st title defence – surpassing Bernard Hopkins – as he stepped into the ring for the first time since October 2019.
And it was obvious from Dazn’s highlights that GGG did not appear to show any signs of rustiness.
After the win, Golovkin, 38, said: “I come back, I told you I come back.
“Right now I showed this time I was very quiet, very comfortable, I think it’s smart work.

“Kamil Szeremeta, he is great boxer, but I feel very comfortable because I have a lot of time, a lot of good people with me, this, I’m very proud of my team.”
He wasted no time in getting down to business in Florida, as he peppered 31-year-old Szeremeta with jabs.
Szeremeta hit the canvas in round one and two after taking a huge right hook to the face.
The fourth round saw Szeremeta return to the deck and it was only a matter of time.

The writing was on the wall all the way till round seven, as GGG mixed up his attacks and levels, which proved almost impossible to defend against.
And it was all too much in the seventh, when a double jab decked a hapless Szeremeta, who was on the end of a masterclass.
Golovkin revealed afterwards he would turn his immediate attention to Canelo Alvarez’s super-middleweight title challenge against Britain’s Callum Smith.
He said: “Absolutely I am open for anybody. Just best opponent for me, for business, for DAZN for people, for friends, I am ready.
“We will wait for tomorrow, I hope tomorrow is great event. The best, who wins? The best. I am open.”

Logan Paul’s amazing homes includes drug guru Timothy Leary’s desert ranch and a stunning £5m LA mansion

LOGAN PAUL is king of the YouTubers when it comes to his property portfolio.
The internet personality, who is set to fight Floyd Mayweather on February 20, has earned millions from posting content on his channel that has 26 million subscribers.

That’s enabled Paul, 24, to buy houses you and I could only dream of.
The Maverick loves living in the Valley in Los Angeles, and has a stunning mansion in Encino.
And most recently, he added a desert ranch formally owned by LSD-advocate Timothy Leary for around £800,000.
Take a peek inside his digs below.

    HIS FIRST HOME
Sure, he rented an apartment in Hollywood.
But in 2017 Logan dropped £4.8m on a 9,000 square foot home in the heart of Encino – for his first home.
The gated estate was built in the 1970s and sits within a sought-after neighbourhood in the San Fernando Valley region of LA.

Looking like a modern farmhouse, it has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, wine cellars, four fireplaces, a movie theatre room, and a kitchen with a large island.

It was believed to have been previously owned by Whose Line Is It Anyway? comedian Ryan Stiles.
It’s often nicknamed the Maverick House, which is the name of his merchandise brand – that also features a clothing label.
Sidenote, Maverick is also the name of his pet parrot.
    THE NEW ABODE
Given that Paul is a man who clearly likes to party, his new house is the perfect setting for that kind of lifestyle.
Recently he splashed around £800,000 on a desert ranch that used to be owned by drugs guru Timothy Leary in the 1960s.
Leary lived in the home with around 30 ‘Hippie Mafia’ pals and it’s where it’s believed he manufactured LSD.
Surrounded by the San Jacinto Mountains in California, the property is spread across 80 acres.
‘The Brotherhood of Eternal Love’, as they were known, lived in the outhouses, which includes a guesthouse and bunkhouse, while Leary and his wife stayed in the ranch house.

Paul recently bought a desert ranch for around £800k

The desert ranch was formerly owned by 60s drugs guru Timothy Leary

It was famously believed that LSD was made at the ranch

    The studio boasts huge windows

The main house has two bedrooms

The expansive living room can be warmed up by a freestanding fireplace

The kitchen is perfect for entertaining guests

The dining room has ample space to throw a dinner party

The massive garden contains a very makeshift pool
The main home has two bedrooms, an expansive living room, as well as a freestanding fireplace.
In the master bedroom, you will find wood beams, and another custom fireplace
The property also features a barn, two-car garage and two solar panel systems for power.

Water comes naturally through a pair of springs that feed a 70,000-gallon water tank.
And there’s a 500-square-foot studio that’s fitted with angled skylights and is surrounded by walls of glass that’ll be perfect for Paul to record videos for his YouTube channel in.
One question, Logan; when can we come round?

GGG vs Szeremeta result: Gennady Golovkin dominates Pole to make record breaking 21st middleweight title defence

GENNADY GOLOVKIN enhanced his case as the greatest middleweight champion of all time after defending his crown for a record breaking 21st time.
Golovkin dominated mandatory challenger Kamil Szeremeta, dropping the Pole FOUR TIMES before the referee waved it off before round eight.

It meant GGG surpassed Bernard Hopkins for title defences, having been tied with the American great on 20.

Golovkin had not been in the ring since October 2019, when he only narrowly beat Sergiy Derevyanchenko to win the vacant title.
But the Kazakh legend wasted no time in getting down to business in Florida, as he peppered 31-year-old Szeremeta with jabs.
It set the champion up beautifully with his power shots, and just before the bell sounded to end the round, Triple-G scored the first knockdown of the night.
He had Szeremeta hurt with a body shot before following up with a left hook that forced his man to the deck.

Szeremeta managed to survive the scare but again tasted the canvas in round two after a massive right hook bounced off his face.
But GGG was still unable to find the finish as he put on an early beating.
In the third, Golovkin took his foot slightly off the pedal in terms of power punching, but still pressured the whole round.
He came out firing in the fourth and after closing the distance, a short, chopping left uppercut through the guard put Szeremeta on his backside once more.
But the unfancied underdog proved his resilience as he was forced to take cover following a barrage of body shots and hooks to the head.
The writing was on the wall all the way till round seven, as GGG mixed up his attacks and levels, which proved almost impossible to defend against.

And it was all too much in the seventh, when a double jab decked a hapless Szeremeta, who was on the end of a masterclass.
Despite beating the count and avoiding a concussive knockout, the ref called the fight to a halt before round eight – to the disagreement of no one.
Golovkin revealed afterwards he would turn his immediate attention to Canelo Alvarez’s super-middleweight title challenge against Britain’s Callum Smith.
GGG confirmed he would be open – for the first time in his career – to fighting outside the middleweight division, as he eyed the winner between Canelo, 30, and Smith, also 30.
Golovkin said: “Absolutely I am open for anybody. Just best opponent for me, for business, for DAZN for people, for friends, I am ready.
“We will wait for tomorrow, I hope tomorrow is great event. The best, who wins? The best. I am open.”

Mike Tyson returns to training after comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr with explosive pad work and defensive drills

MIKE TYSON is training again for the first time since his comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr.
The heavyweight legend returned to the ring after 15 years out in November, and did so with massive pay-per-view success.

Mike Tyson training again for the first time since his comeback

Tyson, 54, and Jones, 51, boxed to a draw over eight exhibition rounds in a fight that provided more clinching than punching.
Iron Mike confirmed afterwards that he will lace up the gloves as soon as possible, and even called for a rematch.
And it appears he is wasting no time in preparing for his next fight after hitting the pads with trainer Rafael Cordeiro.
In a clip shared on Instagram, Tyson lets his hands go with rapid speed, slipping and rolling in between, showing off smart defence.

A separate clip revealed the iconic puncher working solely on his defence, slipping several shots coming his way before bouncing on his toes.
Tyson and Jones are believed to have banked £60million for the 1.6million PPVs they sold.
And Iron Mike is ready to do it all again – keen to improve on his last performance.
He said after fighting Jones: “I could’ve done everything better.

Mike Tyson’s incredible bodyweight workout routine

“Everything I was doing I could’ve done it better, so God willing, I’ll be better the next exhibition.”
Jones, who only retired as a pro in 2018, hinted at a rematch having been underwhelmed with the draw.
He said: “I thought I did enough boxing on the outside to edge it out, but I’m cool with the draw.
“It means we just might have to do it again, but I don’t know.” More

And that’s followed tomorrow with the brilliant match-up between Mexican pound-for-pound master Canelo and the planet’s finest super-middleweight Callum Smith.
This Texas shootout, for Smith’s Ring and WBA titles and the vacant WBC strap, will be shown in the early hours here as the whole of Mexico and most of America stops when the ginger-assassin fights.
But the January 2 clash between baby face American Ryan Garcia and Hull’s 2012 Olympic hero Luke Campbell is set to be the first of many specially timed to suit audiences on both sides of the pond.
Campbell will have his US mission shown live in the UK at around midnight, which means an approximate 6pm start time in Dallas.
And British DAZN exec Joe Markowski says UK boxing nuts can start looking forward to kinder-timed foreign fights, as his £1.99 a month app looks to smash into the Sky and BT Sport dominated market.
Markowski told SunSport: “We want to engage British sports fans because, although we are launching globally and not just in the UK, the UK happens to be a stand-out market because of the growth and popularity of boxing.
“We will be considering a number of strategies, the obvious one being timing of fights.
“In 2021, where you see a British fighter high up the card or the main event, you will see us broadcast in the American afternoon so we can maximise the value in both countries.
“I grew up having to stay awake really late to watch US fights and we will work to improve that for British fans where possible”.
