Jake Paul demands Floyd Mayweather fight after brother Logan as YouTube star continues charge into boxing

JAKE PAUL wants to fight Floyd Mayweather after his big brother Logan faces the boxing legend.

But he has already called out Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth as his next opponent.
In a surprising move, the younger Paul responded by revealing plans to take on Mayweather.
Jake tweeted Logan: “And then I’ll fight mayweather.”
Logan, 25, made his pro debut in 2019, but lost to YouTube rival KSI, 27, by split-decision.

Jake, 23, on the other hand has a had a more successful start to his career with two knockout wins to his name.
And despite calling to box Mayweather, 43, himself, he does not give Logan any chance against the 50-0 icon and reckons the fight is ‘bad for the sport’.
Jake told TMZ: “My brother’s f*****. It’s bad for the sport. I think it’s just for clout.
“I wish him the best of luck.

Jake, left, pictured with big brother Logan

“I just like – don’t get in there with a guy whose never even been knocked out. He’s been knocked down once and it was by accident.”
Jake is coached by BJ Flores and J’Leon Love – a long-time friend and former protege of Mayweather’s.
And Love admitted it could be inevitable that his former mentor and current fighter face off.
He told SunSport: “With Jake, it’s a major possibility, a high chance.
“I thought about it and then left it alone but obviously Floyd and Jake are both in it to get the best out of it.
“Floyd is the pinnacle of it, so could it happen? Floyd is a businessman, so is Jake Paul, just as well as Logan, so if it makes money it makes sense.
“I think Jake would do it, there’s a possibility that happens.”

Logan Paul calls out A-lister Chris Hemsworth for fight after Floyd Mayweather as Avengers star shows off speed on pads

LOGAN PAUL wants to fight Chris Hemsworth after Floyd Mayweather as the Avengers star showed off his boxing skills.
Paul brings all-time great Mayweather out of retirement in February for a ‘special exhibition fight’.

Logan Paul, pictured during sparring, called out Chris Hemsworth

Hemsworth is a huge UFC fan and has incorporated martial arts into his training regime

But the social media sensation is already lining up his next opponent after calling out Hollywood A-lister Hemsworth.
It came after the Aussie – who famously played Marvel character Thor – uploaded a video of himself on the pads.
Paul, 25, replied: “I’ll fight him after mayweather.”
Hemsworth, 37, is a huge UFC fan and has incorporated martial arts into his training regime.

But unlike YouTuber Paul, he has never had a professional fight.
The viral internet phenomenon made his pro debut in November 2019, losing by split-decision against rival KSI, 27.
Somehow, it landed him a fight against Mayweather, 43, despite their farcical and experience discrepancy.
Paul will, however, be armed with a FOUR STONE weight and six inch height advantage as he attempts mission impossible.

Despite his chance to shock the world, little brother Jake, 23, is far from convinced and believes the mismatch will leave a stain on boxing’s reputation.
Jake told TMZ: “My brother’s f*****.
“It’s bad for the sport. I think it’s just for clout.
“I wish him the best of luck.
“I just like – don’t get in there with a guy whos’ never even been knocked out. He’s been knocked down once and it was by accident.”
Jake has had a more successful start to his boxing career, winning his first two fights by knockout.
It has fuelled him with so much confidence that he even wants to fight Mayweather after Logan does.
Jake responded to Logan’s challenge to Hemsworth: “And then I’ll fight mayweather.” More

Shannon Courtenay shows off football skills on Instagram as boxing star proves she’s no one-sport wonder

BOXER Shannon Courtenay took to Instagram on Sunday to show off her football skills.
Known for her prowess in the ring, Courtenay proved that she’s not just a one-sport wonder.

The 6-1 fighter also had no problem using her thigh to keep the ball upCredit: Instagram / @shannon_courtenay

The Watford puncher, a childhood pal of Anthony Joshua, has a 6-1 professional record.
But sporting talent clearly comes naturally across all fields.
Courtenay, 27, wrote on Instagram: “Never told him I used to play football when I was a kid so he rolled the ball to me & started filming thinking it would be funny…”
She then surprised the man behind the camera, however, by confidently juggling the ball.

Using both knees, thighs, and even her head, Courtenay kept the ball up with ease.
And she will hope that her sporting confidence carries into her next fight, having gotten her young career back on track last time out.
Courtenay lost her unbeaten record last August, when defeated by Rachel Ball at the Matchroom Fight Camp in Essex.
But, when sent to the drawing board, she got things back on track last month with a vicious seventh round KO of Pole Dorota Norek on the Billy Joe Saunders vs Martin Murray undercard.

After the fight, the thrilled fighter told Sky Sports: “The fight was scrappy, but we knew it was going to be a scrappy fight, we knew it was going to be messy.
“I got greedy with the right hand and I admit that, but I knew I had to catch her flush to knock her out as she was tough as anything, just running at me like a bull.”
She then insisted that she wants to fight for a world title next year, telling the Watford Observer: “At some point next year I want to be fighting for a world title.
“I thought I would have more time off for Christmas this year but I’m already back training now and getting myself ready.”

Luke Campbell can retire with head held high after facing P4P ‘monsters’ and best in ring after Garcia loss, says Hatton

LUKE CAMPBELL can retire a proud man with a fearless record if he retires after Saturday night’s heartbreaking loss to Ryan Garcia.
The 2012 Olympic champ, 33, needed to beat the 22-year-old prospect to secure a third lightweight world title shot – after coming up short against future hall-of-famers Vasiliy Lomachenko and Jorge Linares.

But, after dropping boxing’s new golden boy with a lovely second-round left hook, he was obliterated with a similar shot to his ribs in the seventh and counted out.
The celebrated amateur welcomed third son Levi to the family in September but cancelled his own Christmas to prepare for this fight and is set to open his own gym in Hull after lockdown.
And British boxing legend Ricky Hatton says the baby-faced hero can retire with his head held high, if he feels he is at the end of the road.
Hatton said: “What a career Luke has had… and the Olympic gold was not his only amateur achievement by far.

“He has done us so proud, he is one of the most decorated English amateurs of all time.
“He has taken both Vasiliy Lomachenko and Jorge Linares the distance and they are multi-weight world champions.
“And he has just been in with the latest young whipper-snapper superstar.
“Only Luke will know how happy he is with what he has achieved in his boxing career. You only retire when you have no more goals to fulfil.

“It would be lovely to see that world title belt around Luke’s waist.
“But, if he doesn’t do it, then it will only be because of the absolute quality he has been in with.
“Luke has faced genuine pound-for-pound monsters one fight after the other. I take my hat off to him.”
Southpaw Campbell was Garcia’s first real test after 20 one-sided wins and the Brit looked like being a bridge too far in the second round.
A peach of a left hook dropped Garcia and panicked his 8m Instagram followers.
But the California kid, with the rapid hands, slashed and bludgeoned his way back into the bout before landing a spectacular rib breaker.
The slow-motion replay showed all of Campbell’s right flank rippling with the brutal impact and he dropped to one and then two knees before being counted out.

Campbell said: “Well I’m honestly heart broken… I really wanted to bring the win back for you all. I’m sorry for that.
“I hope you all enjoyed the fight. Have to take my hat off to Ryan Garcia, well done and a massive future ahead for him. I wish him all the best.”
The sublime shot that ended the Dallas dust-up was right out of the Hatton body-punching textbook.
The Manchester icon said it’s the exact punch he tries to teach his students and proves Garcia is capable of going on to challenge fellow 9st 9lbs monsters Teofimo Lopez, Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney.
Hatton said: “The shot was beautiful. That is exactly how I tell the lads in my gym to throw that shot.
“Luke’s reaction was delayed, he got his first breath but it’s the second one that does you.
“Garcia is capable of beating all of the best guys now.
“I know he is a social media star already but he can just wait and build those other fights.
“He can polish up on some of those errors that he made against Luke.”

Garcia – who was carried to the ring on a throne – extended his record to 21-0 including 18 KOs.
During his post-fight interview on DAZN, he did not hold back as he called out two big names.
Speaking about Floyd Mayweather’s protege Davis, he said: “Let’s go Tank. Let’s go, I’m ready.”
He then claimed he wants to fight Haney – who was ringside for his victory in Dallas.

Garcia added: “I want to fight Devin too.
“I want to be a man of my word and fight Tank, I know people are worried about that one but I’m ready for it.”
Haney, with a perfect record of 25-0, has held the WBC lightweight title since 2019.
Speaking about Garcia’s performance after the fight, the 22-year-old said: “It was a good fight.

“He went in there, he got the win, but of course he got knocked down and showed some flaws, but he also showed that he had heart, and he got the win.
“Truthfully, I’ve seen a lot of flaws. Ryan is a good fighter and everything, but…
“That’s a fight I would love to make. He’s my mandatory now.
“We’re gonna take the things we’ve got to do and fight my mandatory, and we gotta see if it happens.”
Davis, who holds one of the WBA’s secondary belts, is also a target for Garcia.
    The hard-hitting 26-year-old has a record of 24-0 including 23 knockouts.

He brutally knocked out Leo Santa Cruz during his last fight at the end of October.
But Garcia claimed Tank’s incredible win did not scare him – and promised to ‘put him to sleep’.
Speaking to SunSport, DAZN presenter Kate Abdo urged Garcia to fight Davis next.

However, it’s not clear if it’s a recent break or throwback footage with Fury appearing to be back in the UK on Sunday.
On Saturday, Fury posted a video of himself and Paris enjoying a bite to eat bathed in glorious sunshine.
Sitting on a balcony high in the sky, Tyson chowed down on some scrambled eggs on toast, fruit and a Diet Coke.
He and Paris, 30, danced along to some tunes as they enjoyed the breakfast with a view.

Fury captioned his post: “Levels to this s***. @parisfury1 #1 #liveyourlife”.
Fans on social media claimed Fury was staying at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, with rooms starting at £230 per night.
Just 12 hours after his breakfast video, Fury posted a few updates to his Instagram Story.

Fury then shared a picture of what appears to be himself enjoying the pool

Moments later, Fury popped up in the SNOW, seemingly back in colder climes

Fury shared a snap of himself by the pool and another looking down at the palm tree-lined streets below him.

In another, the British star was out for a run, again surrounding by palm trees – suggesting a balmy environment.
However, in a video uploaded just moments later, he appeared to pop up in colder climes, clutching a fistful of snow.
Addressing the camera, Fury said: “Just finished a lovely training session…now who fancies a snowball fight?”
Fury was spotted spending his New Year’s Eve in the gym ahead of what promises to be a massive year.

Fans in hysterics after Kate Abdo tells Ryan Garcia’s dad ‘That’s some good sperm you’ve got’ before Luke Campbell win

BOXING presenter Kate Abdo had fans in stitches last night after telling Ryan Garcia’s dad he has ‘good sperm’.
The DAZN host, 39, was covering last night’s WBC world title eliminator between the American prospect and Luke Campbell in Dallas.

Abdo introduces Henry Garcia to DAZN viewers with her bizarre compliment

That bout, which Garcia, 22, won by seventh-round knockout after a brutal body shot, was the main event.
But also on the undercard was younger brother Sean, 20, who took his record to 6-0 with a majority decision over Rene Marquez in their four-round lightweight bout.
Between the two fights Kate was joined by the pair’s proud father Henry to discuss his brilliant offspring.
But her introduction to the beaming dad left fans stunned and amused in equal measure.

The former Sky Sports presenter said: “Sean Garcia already fought, Ryan Garcia of course the main attraction. Henry Garcia, it’s great to have you here with us tonight.
“You make them pretty, you make them athletic. That’s some good sperm you got there, sir.”
The compliment was met with a huge grin from Garcia Senior, who simply replied: “Thank you Kate.”
And fans could not get enough of the clip, taking to Twitter in their droves to comment.

One wrote, with a reference to DAZN’s subscription fee and a laughing emoji: “That’s some good sperm you’ve got there” – Kate Abdo to Ryan Garcia’s Dad. All that for just £1.99 a month.”
Another added: “Kate Abdo… that’s some good sperm you’ve got there. Bit different on DAZN.”
A fan joked: “Judging by my timeline, “sperm” is about to start trending after Kate Abdo’s comment to Garcia’s dad on DAZN.”
And another added: “Boxing review of the year 2021 articles. ‘Remember when Kate Abdo talked about sperm’.”

Abdo exclusively gave her prediction to Sun Sport ahead of Garcia’s clash with Campbell.
And she had it pretty much bang on, revealing: “As a Brit, I’d love to be able to say Luke Campbell, but the truth is I give Ryan Garcia the edge.
“I think Ryan’s speed and timing and his confidence right now outweigh the experience factor.
“Ryan comes in off the back of those big early knock-outs.
“Luke doesn’t have the momentum of a winner, and unfortunately, I think that matters.”
And she revealed the fight she wants Garcia to take soon.
The Manchester-born fan favourite added: “On paper, the biggest fight has to be Teofimo Lopez.
“He’s the unified or undisputed champ, depending on how you want to argue it. A chance at all those belts would be a huge opportunity.
“But I also think that part of what makes a big fight is when there is genuine personal beef.
“Ryan and Tank are both popular fighters and fans turn out in numbers for them.
“Gervonta insulted Ryan’s mother so now it’s personal. It may be for fewer belts, but I like that fight more.”

But the rising star ensured all eyes were on him before the lightweight showdown got underway.
After 33-year-old Campbell casually strolled to the ring, Garcia stepped things up a gear.
The 22-year-old was carried into the arena on a throne by five members of his team.

He wore a gold wreath as he waved to his fans at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
Despite his impressive entrance, the fight did not get off to the best of starts for the Mexican-American.
Garcia was dropped for the first time in the second round, but managed to bounce back in style.
The hard-hitting 22-year-old ended the contest with an incredible body shot in the seventh round.
